Speaker 1 (00:10):
Mad word, what your back door?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Hey all, and welcome to Monday Night's Treasure Vortex with
Gypsy Jewels from YouTube's Zero Discrimination, as well as myself,
Amanda Digs Amanda Digger to guys. Yeah, it's been one
of those weeks. We are starting a new Welcome to February.
Made it to February. Hey, Gypsy, how are you this evening?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Hey? I'm doing great. I can't believe it's February either.
I mean, the first month just flew by of the
new year.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, picture did too fast?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Too fast for me, well, not too fast for you,
right right, Well, February, I know we're starting to kind
of creep into some warmer weather a little. I know
we are here in Texas, and I know you've been
shoveling snow and earthquakes and all kinds of crazy stuff.

(02:25):
But I was lucky for me. Like right now, it's
although too bad. I'm not you know, I'm working and
I'm not out digging today. But I don't know exactly
the temperature today, but I know it's close to seventy
five I would say, maybe even close to eighty. Let

(02:47):
me check real quick.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's nice, Yeah, that's nice. I did get a text
message from mister Mike Fussan today and he said that
I believe they were almost in the sixties. Let me see,
he said they were wow three. I'm like you, lucky dog.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Currently it's seventy six here.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, yeah, that's nice. Actually it's not bad. Today was forty.
Today was forty. We did get snow all last night,
so that was Yeah. I can't wait to start shoveling
dirt and not not snow. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Well yeah, I know for those of you that have
a colder climates. I just posted something on Facebook. It
was a past picture from beach hunting in Florida where
I find this beautiful gold ring with my apex and
let's got a little diamonds in it. Anyway, Oh my,

(03:47):
oh man. I just I got to go to the
beach while I was gone. Yeah, that's another thing. And
I did get to go to the beach while I
was gone. But it was windy and cold. Well, it
could have been worse, you know, it could have been worse.
But it's always nice to get out, so I'm not
going to complain. But I mean, it was not perfect weather.

(04:07):
It was okay, but hey, I did get down to
the beach. I didn't find any jewelry, but did get
to play with the vortex and found loads of coins
and fishing weights and you know, trash stuff like that.
But uh man a mission a missing summer beach hunts

(04:32):
from Florida and South Texas, missed my Galveston Daves and
uh anyway.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I miss treasure period though. You know, I'd really hope
to go to uh this the big consignment store that
I was talking about. But even in the meantime, we
have like the Salvation Army, and we have like the
Goodwills and whatnot, and I could definitely.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Have you been to any of those?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I haven't. I haven't. I am hoping to this week.
I have an appointment tomorrow that is near one, so
I was like, well, I might actually be able to
stop in, which would be exciting. Wow, you know, just
to take a peek around. Like I said last week,
I'm still trying to downsize my gear, my fines and

(05:20):
things like that. So it's funny because I'm going through
like I was going through a stack of letters, so
like you know, you do the car the sticker swap,
and I know I've with Instagram, I technically did a
lot more on that than I did any other platform.

(05:42):
And I did a lot of giveaways in the past
called Winter Blues giveaways, and I haven't done any of
this year. But what I because I just haven't really
posted too much. But I found this giant tote full
of all the cards the thank yous for this, So
I'm going through it. And while I was going do it,
I found my bucket list from twenty seventeen.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
That's awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, So I wrote it in twenty seventeen and I
crossed things out in twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen,
twenty twenty, twenty one, twenty three. So and I'm looking
at a couple of things and I'm like, ooh, I
found some stuff in twenty four that I can cross

(06:27):
these out. And then I was like, oh, whow. Yeah.
So I'm like, oh, I should make an actual I
think I need to new list.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Or a fresh Yeah. You know, it would be cool
with your new list, you know, maybe I don't know
if your list is numbered, but it'd be cool to
like number the ones that you haven't found yet top
of the list, and then still still list the ones
that were on your old list that you've already checked off,

(06:56):
you know, I think that would be neat and see
where you gone and how much you found over the years.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Yeah, because I mean each one that I did cross off,
I actually put the date that I found it. So
like I had said, a purse, clasp for a purse,
and I found that in July twenty third, twenty nineteen.
I found Wow, spectacles or glasses and a dump I
was digging in October nineteen, twenty seventeen, and that was

(07:23):
on a list I really wanted to find, you know
those the glasses, Yeah, stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
So yeah, you found a pair. I just found another
pair of this left well, I was, you know, traveling.
I did get to hunt. It wasn't ever on my
bucket list, though, I guess I've found a lot over
the gar dump digging and metal to taking, but mostly
dump digging for that. But that's cool. Did they have

(07:52):
any lenses that I'm by chance?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yes, sure they did. They did. Oh that actually are
they round? They are? And it looked like the nose
piece was gold, but I don't. I think it was
just you know how when things come out of the
dump like that.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
They did make a lot of yeah, but they did
make a lot of those spectacles at least gold filled
or gold plated, so it very well could be. So
you might want to have that checked out. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, And it's crazy. It's not like they could just
get on Amazon and order a new pair of glasses
or go to lens Crafters and right. Oh, I wonder
if they knew it got thrown out in the trash. Right.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I was just recently talking to somebody and they were
talking about they were at a restaurant and they didn't
they something took their rings off or something and put
them on the play on the table or you know,
somewhere on the table on a napkin or I don't

(08:58):
remember exactly in the I forgot that they'd taken them
off and laid them there. They're just in a habit
of taking them off I guess while they eat, I
don't know. And then they accidentally got thrown away and
so they went back and had to ask the store people.
But they actually dug through the trash and found their rings.

(09:20):
But I know we've talked about that before, but yeah,
it makes you wonder, you know, how did those glasses
end up in the trash and the dump you know,
was it someone passed away or did it accidentally? You know,
there's so many crazy stories, which reminds me, you know,

(09:42):
how often you find teeth and things like that. Ye, well,
it reminds me back in the day when I had braces,
and after my braces, I had a retainer. I did
that at school. Once I took my retainer out, I accidentally,
I luckily went back. I realized it.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
And so you were part of the dumpster divers too
for the retire I too, climate to a dumpster.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Oh crap. Oh no, see, we were dumpster diving way
back when.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I know, I know, but that was more so so I,
you know, wouldn't be screwed up. That's how you lost
the retainers gain. You know how much money that costs?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Oh gosh, yeah, oh it is amazing how things end
up in the dump. But like you mentioned a while ago,
you know, you're treasure hunting at these these good wills
and these resale shops and stuff. As a totally different
breed of treasure hunt, but it's it's treasure hunting, you know,

(11:02):
and you're you're going to the and you know I
do it as well, and of course the groad sales.
But look how much often stuff just gets dumped like that.
You know, I was telling a friend that has an
ebased door, you know, to go be sure and check
those books, be sure and check those bibles, because people
stick money and I'm sure enough. You know they're at

(11:24):
a good will bin and act, you know, picked up
a book and then boom, ountfalls up. Uh, you know,
an envelope with like three hundred dollars cash in it.
I want to find that, but I mean there's treasures everywhere.
He's gotta be willing to go searching and looking, right, Yeah,

(11:50):
absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
But.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Back to your bucket list, I would be interested in
hearing that if you want to share and kind of
what you hope to find in the new year, since
it is second month of new year.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
All right, So well, I'll go through a couple that
I found as well that are on my list. Like
I had a trime on my list, but I found
that in twenty seventeen. I think that's such a neat coin,
very pretty.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
But very amazing. Still on my bucket list.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
I had an intact cufflink and I found that in
May of twenty eighteen. Again, I still have to go
through because I have on here like a toy soldier,
but I have found that I need to cross that out.
A two cent piece, but I found that a three ringer.
I need to cross that out. I have a gold

(12:48):
pocket watch that I would like to find it. I
thought I had, I thought I had, but it is
just such a thick rolled gold plated that it it
It was just it's gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Did you find that in the so the the pocket
watch that I found that is absolutely stunning.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
I found it metal detecting, yep. And it's it's gorgeous.
It looks like pure gold coming out. And yeah, it
was very sad, so I yep. I still have a
gold pocket watch on the list that I would like
to find a class ring because I would love to

(13:35):
be able to do the research and be able to
find the owner. I have not found a class ring
a hard heel.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Sorry, it'll happen.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, maybe I found plenty of rings and I have
a whole bunch of heel plates. I think I've got
the clover, I've got a spade, I've got an a hexagon.
I do not have a heart, so I have that
on here.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
Oh Man still on my bucket list, all of them.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Oh, I have a pew pew on here, but I
already found one of those. Let's see, I have a
hammered coin, a hammered silver coin, which I guess could
also be a It could be a cob too that
I would like.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
You know.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Nope, that's what i'd like to find.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Oh, that's one you'd like. Now, silver reale. You found
one last year or the year before. Is that on
your list before?

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Yep? Yep, well I have. I had it listed down
as foreign silver, not an Oh no, I had it
listed as Spanish silver. So I have foreign silver and
Spanish silver and foreign silver. I think I counted the
Canadian fish scale as the foreign that I found, and
then the two riel as the too real was the

(15:06):
first Spanish silver I found.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Okay, well, you know, I think I've only written one
one bucket list before, a written bucket list, and I
started marking it off. But I really have no clue.
I think I wrote it in a notebook, so if
I ever run across that, you know, but I've got
a mental. I've got a mental one. And of course

(15:32):
it's the gold bucket watch the trime, the two cents,
so a lot of the same ones you have.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Do you find thee.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Not a whole?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
So you've got the crodle bell. I know somebody had.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
And me remember it wasn't last year, but the year
before I found part of one at Bone and I
was so close. I was like, oh yeah, oh in
the silver thimble man. I was sitting here. I mean,
they're hard to come by in Texas, a little more
plentiful where you live. But I was detecting with someone

(16:12):
in Texas is one of my more recent videos, and
right beside me, he digs a you know, a silver
thimble and I'm like, oh, my bucket list. But I
was so happy for him anyway, But anyway, continue to continue. Sorry.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
I have on here a ken of coins, but I
don't have it dated. I think it would just be fun,
whether it's you know, old coins, new coins. I know
at one point I did find what did I I
think I ended up counting it and it was like,
I don't even know one hundred and twenty nine wheedies.
So it was like somebody's bank that had maybe broken

(16:53):
and I found all.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah, like a cash do you think it was like
in a bag or a can or when do you
think it was an I'm.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Not really sure. I'm thinking something. I think I remember
finding pieces of like pottery, so I think it was
in like either a pig or something like that.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Yeah yeah, well me too. That was on my bucket
list and I did the same thing. It was like
a pottery like it must have been a bank and
I gave up and dig it. I had a limited amount.
I was on private property and it was full of pennies,
just full of pennies, and I think I had one

(17:32):
nickel in it. And I was like, man, these some
of these pennies or a wheaties, So there's gotta be
a silver in here. But I didn't have time and
I never went back. I'm kind of kicking myself, you know.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I was actually the same thing that I kept doing
it because I'm like, there's gotta be a silver here.
There's got to be a you know, taking a mercury
of some sort or something. No, no, right, And I
mean I hit that place repeatedly until there was no more,
no more, beatbops, beat poops. So but I do have

(18:07):
a can of coins. I think that would be absolutely epic.
So you know those yeah, you get those overwhelming alerts
on your detector, I still dond to dig them.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
You Yeah, you never know. Yeah, I'd never really thought
about that. I guess I have found cachets like that
one and then then one other one, but it was
just like pennies. So I'm like, hmmm, someday one was
full of silver and gold and you never know. Yeah,

(18:40):
what about yours? Have you ever found a cast of
jewelry or anything like that?

Speaker 2 (18:46):
I mean one of the mudlarks spots, like I know,
I've gone down there and on like a single day
have found like two rings, a bracelet, things like that.
But I can't really call that a cash because it
didn't call from one select you know, I know, small spot.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
One thing you could almost right, I know, one thing
you could almost call it cash, you say, I mean,
I never will forget that. The buckle Man. That was epic.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Yeah, that was that was an interesting and and every
once in a while I check out that place to see,
if you know, perhaps there might be one more that
has worked its way to the surface. But it's a
mudlarking spot that you got to be really careful because
I know when you dig certain things like that, the
ground becomes unstable and then you get sucked into it

(19:38):
the next time.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
You go out.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Right, So, yep, right, I do have a diamond ring
on here. I have not found a diamond ring yet.
I have found a gold ring, a couple of gold rings,
a couple of silver rings. I did find the pendant
I think it was with you, and that was my
first one that had diamond in it, but I haven't

(20:02):
found a ring that diamond ring, So that's on the list.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
You will.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
Yeah, Well, I guess I've found many diamond rings only
because I did so much lake and swimming areas like Lake,
Beach River, So I've found many diamond rings over the years,
my best being the platinum men's wedding band with seven

(20:31):
diamonds in it. That was my best, but also a
few solitaires. I found a few solitaires, never a full
one carrot, but at least a half carrot and some
smaller ones. In fact, the ring that I posted today
on social media, it's got a bunch of little bitty
diamonds in it. Gold ring. Ye, But yeah, you will

(20:58):
a lot more water if you do a lot more
water or any kind of swimming areas, you would definitely
pick up one fast for sure.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Yeah, I just have. Yeah I haven't, Uh, I haven't.
So yeah, it's I think if I did more parks
and beaches, I'd probably have a better chance of it.
I do have on here. I have a cannonball, and
I have found canister shot. Before there were the smaller
like grape. I think they were called grape. No, I

(21:34):
don't know, so I don't know if that would fit
that I actually dug part of a cannonball. I'm not sure,
but really, yeah, the canister shot, it was actually it
was in it was the coast of Maine and uh yes,

(21:55):
yeah it was iron and absolutely like I can't remember,
so it was. It was actually quite a while ago.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Wow. Well that is one thing that I have found
I've been lucky enough to find, is like cannon ball frat.
I've never found a whole one, except for the one
that I found out the Garrett Hunt. That doesn't count
because that was planeted. But you know, I've found frags,

(22:27):
you know, and especially from you know, hunting and Louisiana,
you know, like with the Garrett team and hunting, like
with with Jase Robertson and Louisiana. Some of those things

(22:49):
that we've done together and seeing those pulled up is
this amazing and digging up I've only found bits and
pieces of frags, but I would love to find the
whole one. And I you know, found frags of like
when I was hunting the World War two camp not

(23:10):
too long ago, you know, the the hand grenades. So
that was fun.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
I remember you calling. You sent me a message and
I was like, what.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
That was tripping? I remember to go back there. That
was fun, gosh, which reminds me past thing that we
did when we interviewed Jackie. I got to go back
to the Money Creek this weekend and Jackie had found
a a disarmed uh you know, hand grenade from a

(23:52):
war to there at that money Creek. And I went
this weekend and did Money Creek and thought of you
because I was like, man, if we ever get her
down to Texas, this brainner here because I know that's
what you would absolutely love. But we ended up leaving

(24:14):
a little early because we started smelling the burnt smell
to find out that a man living under the bridge
that was definitely smoking something starts the sea, so we love.
We got a little uncomfortable and left early, but.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Oh gosh, the people bump into and you're out in
the woods and in the creeks, right right, fun.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Always fine. But I know you mentioned pepu that I
remember you find you have been like two.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, it was two that were wrapped in cloth together
that were thrown in a creek.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
Holy cow? Did you electrolysos or cl rum or.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
So? I think I did both. I think I did
all three. I think I did all like the CLR
first and then the vapor rust, and then I did
the electrolysis and they're in relatively good jape. I just
need to actually, I've got some oil. I need to
probably oil them to keep the rust that bay. And

(25:33):
I don't think I actually what they were.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
So now do you have some of that preserving or
the time? That is okay good, because I was gonna say,
you know, I've got some I can send you if
you need some from the diggers then.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Oh no, it's a totally different. It's actually used for uh,
for pew pews. Really yeah, yep, and something else. I'll
have to I'll have to take a look at it
and let you all know. It's yeah, I think I know.
And then I think Dave Wise is the one who

(26:11):
told me about it. Oh so cool, and you could be.
It can be found at any sporting good store. I
think I actually got it at Walmart real yep, yep.
So it's basically after you've cleaned an item, it's it's
the oil that you used to keep the iron at Bay.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
So that's cool. Well, we actually have something at the
Diggers d in that if anybody's interested and it's like it.
It comes like in like this little tin, little round
ten thing and it's full of this kind of it's
an oily almost like what would you You wouldn't call

(26:50):
it a cream? What would you call that? You know
what I'm talking about?

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Yep, I do. I don't like that because it smells
like gasoline to me and it is.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Yeah, you can apply it with gloves or I would
apply it with a bop. I'm sure there's something like. Yeah,
I wouldn't doubt what's in it, but it's really great
for preserving in it.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
I can't think of the name of Yeah, I either.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
And we sell it and I got it anyway. But yeah,
if anybody's interested in trying it, no, but that's awesome.
So can you tell us and share what kind of guns.
Did you find him? What?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
What? There were? Handguns? Both of them were handguns, but
I don't actually know what they ended up being. I
don't think I could find a serial number on them,
and I never I think life got in the way
and they're in a box and I should probably pull
them out and see what they may or may not

(27:59):
have been.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
M Yeah, i'd like to see him again. It's been
a while. It was make a cool video for your
TikTok as well. Yeah, i'd be something you could do. Well,
it's cold weather, and maybe show how you bring our
roam and stuff and what you used, because I'm curious
to know what you found at Walmart.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Actually it's funny because you know, we were talking last
week about you know, I was trying to cut down
the different things that I have and whatnot. So I
pulled out a couple of bottles that I got into
yard sale this past year, and the I think the
gentleman throwing the yard sale, he wasn't the owner of

(28:46):
the house, and he wasn't he didn't know the collections,
you know what I mean, Like he didn't know where
the stuff was and he didn't really care. And so
I got to like eighteen eighty blob top sodas Boston
sodas that are embossed wonky glass with the porcelain stoppers.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Holy cowl yep.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
I ended up getting like three of them. And then
guy's like, oh, five bucks. And I know, and I
found this like back accident, like silver together. I brought
that stuff over. Bell.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Huh, you're a little choppy right now. Your voice is
a little choppy. I don't know if it's just connection
or what. You know that hopefully I didn't.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Everything, Oh I did. I look back with silver bimble,
bell and some other stuff like a little key that
was a pencil sharpener, and he had said, oh, that's
basically all junk, you know. Two bucks.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
So when I consider a jun.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
I know absolutely so. I I know that that silver
thimble that was in it was worth way more than
two dollars. So in my mind, I'm like, uh, But
then you know, there was a bunch of stuff I
was leaving. I was leaving and I said to him
just so you know, like he had these dark blue
insulators and I was like those their original. I was like,

(30:36):
this is you know, technically what you could get for him.
And then the bottles I was like, you know here,
I actually I ended up handing him an additional twenty.
I'm like, there's just so you know, you're selling yourself short. Yeah, yep,
I'm like, you're selling yourself short. Here's an additional twenty.
I'm like, I'm gonna come back. I hope to come back.

(30:58):
Those bottles right there, like there was money, and he
was just like, yeah, whatever.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
All the people just don't have They don't want to
take the time though to do that. And so that's
where us treasure hunters can swoop in and grab some
great deals. And I've done that before too, though. We're
I'm like, hand you know where they've said, oh, it's it,
I just want a dollar for that, And then I'm
having them ten or twenty bucks because I know what

(31:27):
it's worth and I want to give them, you know,
a fair deal, and I you know what I'm saying.
So that's that's really neat. What else did you find there?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
He had They had meteor like meteorites, but they were
like those were not selling. We're working with the university.
And I was like, okay, like if you do plan
on it, because they were fair good they were they
were good. They were good meteorites and they had to

(32:08):
be worth some serious cake. But that's that's what the
husband and wife that had lived there. They were adventurers.
They were splunkers, they were bottle diggers, they were you know, and.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
So that's why all this stuff was there. They were
treadit hunters of their own, adventurers.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Yep, yep, and this was there, you know, one of
their kids running the sale and yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Yeah, that's what we talked about last time, remember, So yeah, yeah,
our kids are going to be like and our family
and you know, stell it for a dollar. And yeah,
I can see my boys, you know, right now, my

(32:56):
son is actually here in the room, one of my
oldest sons, listening to me record this. But I'm thinking,
you know, one day they're going to look, I ah,
mom and her adventures. You know, she's out metal and
taking but look at this cool autum you know she found.
But then, oh well, let me sell it for five dollars,

(33:17):
you know.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Yeah. So those those bottles, I pulled them out this
weekend and I actually did a little bit of research
on them. And one is like, uh, because it's it's
a you know, the purple glass.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (33:29):
The magnesium in the glass. Oh yeah, and because it's
got the matching topper for it and everything, it's like
they're they're actually like going for like one hundred and
eighty dollars. I was like, are you kidding me? And
so I'm searching other sites and I'm thinking, Okay, another
site's going to show it for like ten Nope, nope.

(33:50):
It just got higher and higher, and I was like, oooh,
I did a good tick.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Are you going to start? Are you going to start
an e? Basically?

Speaker 2 (34:00):
No, I did.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
You would be great at it. I mean, you would
be that much amazing at it. I just met a
new friend too that does eBay. We might have to
have her on as a guest, you know, Zola. My
friend Zola does that as well. But it's so fun

(34:24):
to hear about these, you know, finds a fine She
mainly feels like Pokemon and comic books. But I think
the comic books are so amazing, and I know, you know,
comic book artists and so people like that can really
appreciate that stuff. But it would be fun to have
her on as a guest as well, because there's so

(34:48):
much treasure I mean in that and then you know
me as an artist, you know, painting paintings, and you
know when you happen across of painting at a broad
sale and stuff, and then you're like, you know the
history behind that, especially if it's an old painting and

(35:10):
it's well preserved and stuff. There's so much it's so
fun to treasure hunt of all sorts.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
You know, it is it is, and there's all different types,
like like you said, with the the artwork, the comic books,
like yeah, all that.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
So let me ask you this then, so on on
your bucket list. And I've ever thought about this, but
I might add this to my boocket list as well.
It might make me a new boocket list, by the way,
But would it be neat to add some fines that
aren't necessarily metal detecting, aren't necessarily mud larking, et cetera.

(35:59):
But maybe something that we would like to find, maybe
at a garage sale or a state seale, or an
eBay find or a online you know, something, or something
of that nature. We would you have an item like
that that you would like to find treasure hunting in

(36:19):
that sense. I've never really thought about it, but.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
No, I don't. I'm not sure I'm not sure. Maybe
a pinball machine. I love pinball.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
It's how weird that you say that, yes, because okay,
now I'm gonna get weird. Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Now?

Speaker 3 (36:43):
Now I'm always weird enough. But so this this Saturday,
I was filming for the paranormal show that I'm doing,
where you know, we involve treasure hunting and metal detecting
and and and stuff like that. But we were filming
at this location and I've been really getting into my

(37:05):
dowsing Rods, which is a whole nother thing we can
talk about. I know we've had my psychic dowsing treasure
dousing friend on here as a guest before, but I'm
really getting into it and I'm learning so much. So
I was sitting there with the dowsing Rods Saturday while
we're filming, and I'm sitting there just asking all kinds

(37:26):
of questions. One thing I asked was like, is there?
I asked, you know, some of you may not believe
in it, but it's I've seen it proven too many
times and I can go into the scientific explanation of
it and you can believe it or not, but it's whatever.

(37:48):
But anyway, so I'm sitting there experimenting with these rods,
and I get, is there quoint? So there was this
pinball machine leaning against the wall, unplugged, and oh, man,
I would love to have that. And I was over
there looking at it, and so I just pulled out
the dowsing rods and I was like, I'm gonna So

(38:11):
I asked the question in my head. I said, is
there coins in there? You know? And it said yes.
And so I looked down and then the little bitty
thing there there was some quarters and coins still sitting
in the little project thing. But and then I pulled

(38:33):
them out and I set them on top of the machine.
I didn't feel right taking them, but I set them
on top of the machine, and I asked again, I said,
is there's coins still in there? And it said yes.
But anyway, I want one of those so bad. I mean,
I've always thought I wanted like a to live in

(38:55):
like a old downtown, old you know building loft with
the old bricks, and then have like a gallery of
some of my fines, but also have like old school,
you know, I'd have to have my old Gallagher game,

(39:15):
and then I would have to have, you know, something
like that, an old pin ball machine or something in
there too. I think there would be. I mean, they're
treasures of the past, and you know I love them.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Yeah, same we do any place that we go for
like the metal detecting type of thing, I always try
to find a potential spot that might have an arcade
around so we can check out what, you know, what
ones might be in that area. I love it, I
want to say. So. While cleaning through the paperwork and everything,

(39:49):
I found two different things. So I found the Bingo
card that Scott made us. Really and I think you're
sinking a scratcher on it, but go ahead, I.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
Seem to you. So remember Brad from Green Mountain, did
I sing you the video? I think she did?

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Ye did?

Speaker 3 (40:14):
He posted it recently like a rehash history, and you
and I are in the video and we're talking about
you know that was it a scratch of I.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Don't remember we won scratch Scott had sc and.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
The Bengo and the Scott cabin And it's so weird
that you mentioned that and buns coming up. But anyway,
I had to bring that up because that just reminded me. Sorry,
but another treasure hunt right there.

Speaker 2 (40:44):
Basically, Sorry, it's laminated and it's a like a Bengo
sheet so you can cross off while we were at
this hunt, so like mine was like a buckle, a
rifle or pistol, brass, a stink in Lincoln four and
coin of the eighteenth hundred crowda bell, military buttons, shotgun, shell, KNDA, stoga, bell, pole,

(41:05):
tab okshow can slaw, Indian head, penny lantern part and
of course this is New England, so a lot of
these things are you know, you have the potential of
finding tomback buttons, modern bullet, bottle cap. But then I
also found and I don't know who created this one,
but it's a treasure detecting point card and there's like

(41:29):
you get a point for can slaw, pole, tab, bottle cap, foil,
farm tool, tract to part and you know it's just
so cool. So the points go all the way up
to five. A buckle is one, buttons are two, jewelry
is two, And I was like, how cool is that?

(41:50):
That was another hunt that we went to.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
Let's do that. Let's do that as the contest because
you and I have popped about this before. Why don't
we do that as a contest And I'll see if
I can get Brian involved from the Diggers in and
we'll do a giveaway and we'll have like a bingo
and then they'll have to send us photos or something

(42:16):
to prove, you know, but it would be cool to
do like a new something. So I'm looking at what
you just sent me.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
Yeah, so the one I just sent you is the
point one, and then I'm sending you the Bingo one.
So the points it would be, you know, the points
is a little bit harder because you have to like what,
pick a timeframe and then how many are you It's

(42:45):
a little bit more difficult because you know, say every
hole you dig is a is cancelaw? Is it one
point for each piece of cancelaw? Is it just one
point for all the cancelaw? So we'd have to kind
of narrow that down. But yeah, there're a lot of
fun if we could do it. We could do it
for like either the bingo or the point thing, and

(43:07):
possibly set it up for you know, like a March
or not March, June, May or June. So that way.
Digging for most people is you know the ground, yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
The grass, like yeah, and you just gave me a
fabulous idea because I'm starting to plan my next hunt,
which I think is going to be epic, but I
won't give way too much detail. But if it happens,
it won't be in Texas this time. But I was
just thinking that is a fantastic idea. I could do

(43:44):
a bingo thing for prizes and then they scratch off.
I have them mark it off and they bring up
those things so I can check it off the list,
you know, as for the hunt, like, oh, I've got
some cancel all. I got a bottle caps. Remember the
pull tab counter accounting yep. I tried that a few times,

(44:09):
but it was just I couldn't keep up with I
find so many pool tabs, you know, But what a
cool contest. You know we needed a man. I've got
so many ideas. Now, sorry, my mind's going to.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Under Well you've got some exciting news their potential that
you were going to share.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
Yeah, so I'm I'll share it real quick. I know
we're almost out of time, we're going to go over time.
But I was just sharing with Amanda earlier when I
talked to her that I maybe planning a future hunt,
but it won't be in Texas. It will be in Arizona.
At a gold mine, and this thing is an old

(44:52):
gold mine that even goes back to the Spanish. So
the potential here for natural finds plus the gold prospectors
of you know, the forty nine ers plus gold in
gold prospecting, plus you know, also like a seated hunt.

(45:14):
So I'm meeting Wednesday with the property owner zoom call
and I'll hash out some stuff. So y'all be sure
and message me if you think you're interested. I don't
know how much, because I don't know if they're gonna
charge me yet or how we're gonna work it for
the property, but and I know it's very costly, but

(45:37):
just consider it if you do decide and you think
if I can make this happen, if you're interested, to
start saving your money because I think it's going to
be well worth it and wanted experience, even if you
don't find much. What an experience to go to an
old gold mine in Arizona and the potential is his

(45:58):
epic so because it is an investment and a vacation,
not as oh, you know, well am I going to
make my money back? But anyway, sorry, but I think
it's a great opportunity if if I can make it happen.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Yeah, it sounds excited, It sounds exciting.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
You you could.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
Do bingo or point card.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
For about golden nuggets as well is buying that's so exciting. Yeah,
m hmm. I would say something funny, but I'm not.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
Oh well, I know that as of as of the
end of next week. I think by Wednesday of next
week we have like snowstorm, nice day, snowstorm, snowstorm, snowstorm, snowstorm.
So uh, winter way. We did have an after shock

(47:01):
a couple. Actually we've had two now yep, we did,
and they were like two point two point zero. We
had one the like two mornings later, at like four
am or three am, we had a two point zero
and then there was another one Sunday. I think, yeah, yeah,
it's crazy, it's crazy, but yeah, it's the life. But yeah,

(47:28):
so hopefully it seems like winter is going out like
a lion. It wants to get as much, which is good,
you know for drought wise up here. The more snow
we get is usually the better. So can't complain, but
I can because I am. Yeah, but yeah, it's been fun. No, No,

(47:56):
it's definitely not Texas whether that's for sure. That send
that weather ape. I know you.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Well, I'm not giving up this weather because I'm ready
to get out. I'm back, I'm ready to go detecting.
I'm ready to go get that vortex out there as
much as I can. I've got some videos coming up.
I got to take it to the beach. I got
to take it to I got another ring with the vortex.

(48:27):
Second ring. It's it's not you know, go plate it.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
Oh well, ring ring, ring, ring.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
But I've got some videos coming up, and so y'all
stay tuned to my YouTube channel zero discrimination. I appreciate
all of your support and Amanda and I really appreciate
your support here on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
We do, especially during this like weird weird time.

Speaker 3 (48:57):
Right right. Well, it's it's been fun catching up with
you tonight, Amanda, and I hope our listeners enjoy it
as much as I have. I've really enjoyed tonight.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
It's been a lot of fun. It's been a lot
of fun.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
It has get out, yeah, well, I hope each and
everyone can get out hopefully soon and as soon as
the weather. For those of you that are in territory,
like Amanda, I hope you can get out soon. In
the ground and freezes and find some amazing bucket listers

(49:39):
and we appreciate you all being here, so I'm wishing
you all a great week and happy hunting.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Yeah, have a great week and have a good evening everyone.
