Origin Stories Told Over and Over Again… Do We Care?

Truly Inconsequential – Not all characters are created equal. Mr. Greer and Brimstone of The Grindhouse Radio debate this week’s zeroes in front of a live audience. It’ll be determined in real time who will remain inconsequential, and who may be liberated back into the hero’s category. This week, they argue Uncle Ben from Spiderman; as well as Mr and Mrs Wayne (Batman’s Parents) from Batman – we’ve seen the origin stories a zillion times and they all lead back to the same ending… death (and the birth of a hero). Question is, who will remain truly inconsequential.
