Speaker 1 (00:00):
The thing I can say to Dan, it's damn.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Thank you so much, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
It's avoid the wrestling classic. Hear, and I'm here none
other than the legend himself, Ron Simmons aka Fork. How

(00:27):
we were doing today?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Going good? How about you?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I'm doing great. I'm joining this convention. It's a little unique.
It's the first time I've been to like an anime
convention with wrestlers there.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Hey, look at it. Well, look we fit right in there,
right about characters saying I.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I'm like, I'm useless to going to wrestling conventions and
people dressing up like wrestlers, but seeing all these other costumes.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Have been pretty cool. Yeah, so look this is fits
right at home. Yeah, you know right.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I always like to ask everybody this. I'll ask you this.
I know you came in through football and everything like that,
but do you remember the earliest thing you saw professional wrestling?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Oh? Well, look, and I've been a big fan, you know,
only in my childhood, right, So it's always been comprised
of the characters that I loved, you know, early on
to watch them, you know when they come out, you know,
all these different consumes you know with the Nature Boy, yeah,
you know, Gorgeous George, all of those, you know. So
I was a big fan of all of that and
a lot of the hype. Yeah, you know, because a

(01:18):
lots of trash talk goes along the same lines as
football in that way, you know what I mean. You know,
it's much inspirational thing, you know, to get the talking,
to try to get into your opponent's head. So I
always loved that part.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
One thing you've always been good at is the trash talking.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Well yeah, well but the other thing about that though,
Now if you're gonna talk that track, yeah, you've got
to be able to back it up. I took a
lot of pride in that too.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, there's there was a lot of It's been told
a bunch of times on different series and shows that
the Rock actually brought a lot of the things you
would say in the car and took it to TV,
whether it was a shut your mouth, no your role
and a bunch of things like that. Does that? Is
it cool to know that you inspired all that and
begains such a pop culture thing.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
And then not only that, but he look at it,
he was the only one smart enough to go out
there and put it out there on TV. Right, Yeah,
but so look man, hey, and I'm very honored to
have given him those things that he went out there
and you know, and made lots of people have it
winning and made a fortune win it himself. So, you know,
along with the other guys.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
You know what I mean, eventually you were able to
make a fortune with just saying damn, it's right.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
So we just kept going.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, you're like, if it worked for him, maybe I
should try my own, right, That's right, heyoc boy, the

Brett the hit Man Heart the best, there is the best,

straps down.

Speaker 2 (03:28):

happened to me. You know, it's a badge of going on. Man. Look,
I'm proudly where okay, And I mean like every day
you understand, So it's not too many months that goes
by that out and often reflect back on that, you know,
and I'm constantly and I hope it never stops reminded

(04:48):
of that with fans and people like today, come up, man,
and this is very moving and touching, you know, just
like today, like I've just spoken of, if I had
a young man that come up to me with tears
in his I said, hey, man, I finally get the
opportunity to meet you and say thank you for what
I was going through at that time and what you
meant to me at that moment when you won the

(05:09):
world title. And it just went on to inspired me
to do what I'm doing today. So you can't get
a better you know, inspirational moment than that.
