So we have to experience life a Bible study in
the Book of Proverbs, and we left off of Proverbs
twenty three. I want to say we stopped at was
that eighteen? Okay, I got yes, Amen. Amen. So now

at this particular time, it's time for feedback. Anybody one
through it sticks out in their head that we talked about.

It was a Bible open but because I just got
back to me, see, but what sticks out of my
head where we talked about it was saying, uh, spread
a rod, spoil the child, and it said beat them
and they shall not die. And we were talking about
the fact that a lot of people it may and
we are disciplined their their children. But back in our day,
we got disciplined and it may and we are products

of that discipline that we received. But now they feel
like if you uh, if you discipline your child, then
you don't love them. But we were saying that when
you pattern't know how we should help discipline, And then
we talked about the fact that whom the Lord loved
he chasing us and he actually gave us a pattern
of how we should do the kids.

But we also talked about the.

Fact that everything doesn't deserve a whooping, but it's just
letting you know that discipline is necessary. And we also
talked about if you don't beat them, somebody else will
down the line and it's gonna be kind that they
don't want.

Amen. Amen, And we're doing it in love, even though
people don't feel like it's in love. Amen. But we
they are our children are our future, and if we
don't correct them, are they are are our noways say,
you know, they get so upset instead of trying to
figure things out, they want to push the red button.

you knew in your own selves.

Even with and just the atit talked about, even with
with discipline, every child is not the same and not
so much if the uh that the uh, what is

everyone noted there needs to be disciplined, but discipline is

but be thou in the fear of the Lord all

what they gain, and like scripture said, for surely there
is an end, and thy expectations shall not be cut off.
So not don't be weary and well doing. Don't focus
on what the world and their gain be cut off

and getting it. But keeping your eyes on the low.
Think gain is godliness, you know, So don't get weary.
What you see what the what the world is gaining.
So I like that scripture and most important about the
correction of clan should be consistent coming home to roost.

The punishment should fit the crime. And we have to
come on. We have to do and we also we
ourselves have to be examples. We can't tell our kid
there likes and we're not doing it because they are
very wide. Letting not that heart envy centners. The scripture
was brought into fret not thyself because of evil dudes

who probably neither be thy envious against the workers of iniquity,
because they shall like the grass that withers.

the heart and the ears verse twelve, ears were work
together to receive wisdom, much is gained. And I found

the heart is gracious and enlightened.

put your trust in riches. It's warning us against the
danger of prioritizing wealth and material possessions over other values.
Saying that suggests that relying disappointment for happiness, security, or
wealth can be misplaced and lead to disappointment or negative

consequences because you you you're you're focused on which which
uh riches, and you forget where.

So most people don't find themselves developing a relationship with
God because they feel like they got the riches on
their own. So uh so, yet a false sense of security.

I like that false sense of security and it advises,
it advises balance and and I think I brought up
they have every who know of people that are rich
and they're miserable. They have everything life offers, and they're miserable.
One of my favorite chefs committed suicide and everything she

funny man. He's always cracking jokes, but sometimes they're they're
hiding like in our revival, what people they didn't remove
the masks, they kept the mask on, So why and
they want to be like them? Oh I want to

be like him. I want to be like her, but
they don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

Was that it just adding us curialism and spiritual will
being placing to spiritual of spiritual and emotional well being.
It can foster greed, envy, and a disconnect from others.
So that was I did a little bit more of
studying it just when you put them from God because

you're doing and you're thinking you're doing it on your own.
But it's a false sense of secure security.

Our security should be in the Lord, and sometimes we
don't realize don't have We don't realize that because we
have thinking I really need to trust God. I heard

work in order to pay her bills. Urgency. Sometimes when

But when we put this scripture talking about putting more
emphasis on chasing the dollar, as Sister Hubba said, which
can cause you to stabilities, family neglect, friends neglect. So
it's actually telling us that. It's not telling us that

money is the money is the root of all evil,
but it's the love of money is the root of
all evil. But money is not evil. Amen. Advising us
that we have to have a balance in anything. I
enjoyed that. I enjoyed that. So we're gonna start with
versus twenty two. Now let me go retrack a lot

of these verses. Quit are repetitive, but it's said in

they see their children doing the things that they had

So he says prostitutes and bad women are traps, and
you know I'm gonna add the heat prostitute and the

male whore are traps too, right, So we're not just
gonna say the women, amen, they are. They meaning the boy,
the man, the whole, and the mongrel. Gods. Well, so
slick when you fall into that, well you you're not
coming out. By the grace of God, you can because

the song says even if he has a reach way down,
Jesus will pick you up. A bad woman waits for
you like a thief, and she causes many men, and
he causes many women to be unfaithful to their wives
and to be unfaithful to their husbandills. They batting their eyes,

they mincing with their heel. We need to learn by good,
by the good examples that are set before you play.
Close attention to those who are giving you instructions and guidance.
And a lot of times people don't want to adhere
to good. That's what we're instructions because they say, oh,

that's what they did back in the day, that's what
we're hearing there. Wow, did I used to say that?
I know, I didn't say that. I honored what my
parents said. Sometimes you know, kind of hit you the
wrong way. But I'm not going out there and just
just hey man, it will take you far in life

if you apply it, the instructions and the guidance. That's
why you have to train them up on thee. So
then why they while they while they're able to receive.
So then yeah, while they're a sponge and right now,
these kids, it's coming out the womb sponges. They pick

up on everything. I have to watch the little one
that's around me. What did you do? And he'd just
be looking. And then if I'm not watching him, he's
trying to do the same thing. Now he goes get
it hisself and go. And I was wondering, where are
you going? Straw? He was too short, but he could

pull that draw open and stick his hand and feel her,
pull his chair out and sit down and drink his milk.
He knows to put the straw the carton in the
blue bag, the recyclable bag. Told his mama to buy some.
She's not buying any so we're recycling straws. So I

have a good example of a sponge. I noticed. We
noticed that with our baby, our own babies. My mom
told me the other day. She said, we used to
be sitting up and she could see the expression on
our face, like when I get big enough, I'm gonna
do that. I'm gonna do that. Amen. So a bad
woman waits for you like a thief. No, no, I

already read that. He's war and then sometimes he's saying,
don't do as I do. Solomon went through some things,
so he said, learn from me, son, don't do this.
If you take heed, you will avoid destructive that that
that destructive path of an adulterous woman or man. It

is hard to get out of a deep well likeation.
Flee you fool us. Remain watchful of the devices of
the devil. Stay vigilant. That's part of our Sunday school lesson.
So you you know, when Christ the Lord talks about adulterous,
he's talking about a nation too. We can commit adultery,

a sinful, sinful adultery. Heicment of the world. Take you
away from God. Amen, there's consequences fast.

he said a whore, but hey also said a strange woman.
So it has to be as you already stated, not
just for women, but as for men.

Just say, for instance, you know your your daughter or
your son was saying, well, well, she's not a whore,
you know, as we think as a whore as far
as that you know, selling her body for monetary gain.
But that strange woman or man can also be uh,
someone that promotes a false worship. So you can be

in fire in holiness. But they present theirselves to be
some goes, but he or saying there you know, holiness,
I'm saved, just like you don't field with the hol ofgost.
But he actually and uh and not knowing he's a
strange for you to pull you out man holdiness, and

well that could actually cause you reading pull you out
of holiness and what you know. So I'm just would
say like, okay, well no, she's not a prostitute or
he's not a prostitute. But if you're unequally yoke with
someone that's a strange woman or.

Man, strange woman is not srange, right, he's fired, just
like that strange fire, that strange fire talked about in
the Old Testament? Whose fire that was? So that strange
woman or that strange man, they're not yours. They they
may be somebody else's because he did in the same

it's a lot of intents talk about adulterous and he man,
it's going on. It's a lot of that going on,

run to that person. They know all your business, so

thine eyes shall be, Hey, thou shalt be as he
that life down in the midst of the sea, or

Then in the nineteenth verse, when it's talking about advising
about you associate with making wise choices to avorativity consequences.

were gonna put me under, I said, Lord, don't let
me say nothing that I shouldn't say. I'm I'm praying.

come out. So these are signs of somebody who indulges
in a lot of drink through other intoxicating things.

But just in everything that you were saying. Unless you
know too, if when you take on that stuff you
lose control, it's no bluing. And that's all of that

all yeah, you did all of that? Yeah, and be

fights in arguments, stay out too late drinking wine, staring

You have woes, sorrows and complaints. Was your strife and

you say to me? And the tree just sitting there,
standing there eating. Physical injuries physical marks are marks of drunkards,
distorted vision. You know you my wife, no lost life. Yes,

you do stuff you didn't think you would wouldn't would do? Amen,
because your eyes are gonna be whole streamed with women,
and your heart shall utter perverse things as though thy

life down in the midst of the sea. And I
started laughing because your lack of uses this image of

nieces got me in the lake and I was on
this float. It was time for me legs. I was

When I got ready to get off, I couldn't even walk.
I had sea legs, and sea legs as a person
that's inability you're on a ship, is not able to

keep their balance when they're seasick and you can't. You
and if you see them on the boat, you know,
if you see them in the movies and they're on
the boat and then they just moved to the bank.
Leggs was so wobbly. I couldn't. They had to help
me thought it was because the sand was, you know,
seeking under my feet, but my legs they just I
didn't have any control. And when I read the Life

recreational stuff, because it's like once that hangover or whatever
