But therefore, my beloved brother and sisters, I added the

word of God. To an old familiar scripture Jeremiah Old Testament,
the fourth chapter, the third, and the fourth verse. We'll

is where I'm getting my meat from. Jeremiah Old Testament,
fourth chapter, the third, the fourth verses. When you have it,

For thus said the Lord to the men of Judah
and Jerusalem. Break up your fallow ground and soul not
among thorns. Circumcise yourself to the Lord, and take away
the four skins of your heart, ye men of Judah
and inhabitants of Jerusalem, Lest my fury come forth like

fire and burn that none can quench it because of
the evil of your doings.

Made the Lord at a blessing to the readers, the hearers,
and most definitely the doers of his word.

As I forestated, I want to encourage. It's not a
beat down. I want to encourage. So help me announce
my little topic. Look at your neighbor and just say,
break up your follow ground. Break up you fo, break

Praise God. We're talking about Jeremiah.

Jeremiah, he was born into a priestly family, but God
chose him to be a prophet of God. God prepared him.
He said, I'm just a kid. The Lord told him,
he said, I knew you before you was born. I
knew what you were gonna be.

So he God prepared him for his ministry. He told him,
don't be afraid of the faces. He knew what was
gonna happen, so he prepared him.

Preachers, God knew what was gonna happen.

So he is preparing you, and you are being prepared
Amen for the UH. And and he was telling them,
because they gonna look at you crazy, they're not gonna
listen to you.

But I want you to know I'm gonna be with
you no matter what they look like. So they gonna
come to church.

and plant.

So he told him to get yourself together, pull yourself
together and speak, and be not afraid of their faces. Again,
he had to keep telling them, don't be afraid of
their faces, Amen, because you know how people are already
come to church. Many preachers are experiencing just what Jeremiah
priests feeling today. He was known as the weeping Prophet.

The people and they just won't hear you. The people in.

Jeremiah's day were so enamored with the way of the
pagan people around them.

They lost sight of who God was, who they was,
who Jehovah was.

They was having a form of godliness, but they were
denying the power to come to you.

That's what his echo said. They come to thee as
your people. They come and sit before you. See these
people are coming to church. They know the know how
to church because they've been in church every since they
were little. So they know how to win, to say
praise the Lord, know how to raise their hand, and they.

Know how to shake.

They know how to shout, they know how to speak
in some kind of tongue. They know how they know
how to act like they got the quickening power. So
they come and sit before you as my people.

They hear your words, but they just won't do them.
For with their mouth they show much love. Oh I
just love the Lord.

They show much, they show much love, but with their
heart they go after their own coveorousness. Whatever they want
to do, that's what they do.

To them, you're like a lovely song, a one that
plays well on the instrument. Hey man, that's that's that's
what they see. That's what they hear. But they come
to you as my people. He said, that's what's gonna happen.
So preachers, just do what you're supposed to do and

let the Lord handle them. I say it all the time.
Hypocrites are in the church, and that's where they're supposed
to be because they're not a hypocrite outside the world.
Because in the world because they gonna do what they
want to do.

But the Lord told Jeremiah to run to and fro
to see if you can find a man.

What does that sound like?

That sound like something that happened in Genesis when the
Lord told Abraham to go to lots where a lot was,
to see if you can find some righteous man. Just
he started out with a big number, then he brought

it down to a little number. Then he said, can
you just find one? And because he couldn't find one,
I was wondering why he spared a lot, because a
lot should have.

He said, run to and fro and see if you
can find a man that executed judgment and seek it
the truth, and I will pardon.

I won't do what I said I was gonna do.

Jeremiah is Jeremiah's book is a long book, and he
was giving a lot of chances. But they say, thou
say I the Lord lives. Surely they swear falsely. You
know what they're saying, Oh, I believe.

God, I love God. But they they just saying it
with their words. Amen. Just like today people are going
around singing the praises of God.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
Yeah, they're singing the praises of God, asking God for things,
but they're not living the life.

They're singing the songs of Zion, they're praise dancing, they're
doing all kinds of things. But when they leave the house,
it's another message. We work in the church, we ushers.
Some people find fry fish work in the cafeteria. Hey,
that I mean, that's that's church that can from. They

know how to pray the right prayers. They know how
to put the words right where.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
They need to be. They bring you up. They we
already know church. We have the church. What is it, minacular.
We already know church. Church is in us. We know
the church etiquette. Amen.

They denying him with their lives and that hurts the church,
but they can't see it. They claiming the blessings, but
they're forgetting about the blesser. Amen. Making promises, they say, Lord,
as the Lord lives, that's what they're doing.

I'm going to but they don't mean it. They're making
all these promises. We're making promises, but we don't mean it.

The Lord told Jeremiah to tell the people to break up.

He was speaking to the heads first, Praise God. That
means that people are gonna have to repent.

I looked this up and I was studying this, and
I thought about some of us that are trying to
garden and to have a productive crop. The soil has
to be prepared because your ground is foulo. It's hard

and crust it over. And mind you, before I got
my electric tailor, Praise God, brother Taylor, I was doing
it with a hand tool hal and I was breaking
it up, breaking it up, and didn't realize I had
broke this finger years ago hitting the bub and I

guess I over extended it and I could not even
close my hand. My hand was I was in pain.
I couldn't even grab the steering wheel column. If I did,
it was like this. You know, well, anyway, you have
to break that ground up. And they have been in
so much dismay doing whatever they wanted to do. Their

hearts have crusted over. They've added all this kind of stuff. Now,
when you garden, there's some things in that ground you
need to get rid of. You got to pick out
the weeds, You got to pick out the grass, pull
out the grass, right now I have an area, I
can't plow it.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I need to weed eat it first.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
After you weed eat it, you get all the rest
of the residue of the weeds out.

Then you have to.

Make it pliable so that when you plant the seed
it will be able to grow. Now, I bought some
top soil before I did any investigating, and the type
of top soil I got was low grade. Because I'm
wondering why my plants aren't thriving, and because this type

of top soil doesn't have enough pete mass in it,
it doesn't have enough nutrients in it. And then and
I noticed when I started putting it in the in
the the pot, it was like a lot of sticks
and stuff. So that's a low grade type of type
top soil. Praise God, so follow ground is uncultivated, and
(19:28):
when your heart is uncultivated, can nothing get in it.
He's he you're preaching the word. The people are sitting there,
they hear it. It's going in one ear and out
the other. Having touched not one heart, had not pulled
on one heart string. We cry and we stayed the same.
(19:49):
The scripture says the devil he believed he trembled, but
he stayed the devil. Hey man, So when we when
we break up that phologram of farm, farmer has to
move items from the soul soil that keeps the plant
from growing.

Also in planting, I found out you have to plant
companion plants, and these help the plants that you are planted.
So we are in this together.

Tomato plant, but you might be that basil plant or
that marigold flower that's keeping away the apids, that's keeping
away the things that will hurt the tomato plant. You
see where I'm going with that. Everybody is not the same.
Don't think you're gonna be a basil plant and then

you won't have any tomatoes. But you got a plant
tomato soup. You gotta plant okra too if you want okra.

You know when placing those companion plants statig It to
Tottigaus strategically, they benefit each other's growth. They deter pests,
so you don't have to use a lot of pesticides.

We are different, but we do it better together. Amen,
So we can hold each other accountable. Sometimes it's hard
to accept constructive criticism. But if you cannot accept constructive criticism,

you will not grow because you end up doing the same.

Again, expecting positive results.

And we already know what that is.

Insanity. Well, I cannot because you won't accept. You think
what you're doing is right, but it's not. If it's
not working, try something else, Amen. If you tried, you
know that song. You've tried everything, and everything is failed.
Try Jesus, try it. No, we don't want to try Jesus. Amen,
But says of God, men of God, women of God

that are preaching the word of God. Our hearts have
to be prepared for spiritual growth. And because of the
world that we live in and we see so much,
hear so much, it affects us. Right, don't say it
doesn't when you look at the news, it affects us.
When you go to work and things are happening at work,
it affects you. So sometimes you have to break up

that follow ground. If we leave the thorns in, even
though the seed and the thorn might be to the
little small seeds. But if you know what that thorn
looks like, the thorns of sin, bitterness, apostasy. They will
all when they up later, they will choke the very

living God out of you. Just like we prepare the
soil to receive seed, we must prepare our hearts to
receive the word of God.

When he says, circumcise yourselves to the Lord, now they
might have been thinking, Okay, well you already, We've already
been circumcised. That was a promise to the Israelites to
circumcise your kids. Amen, your sons, Praise God. Take away
the he said, but take it a little bit further.

Hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Take away the
foreskin of your heart. Cut away that outer part of that,
that covering of your heart. You've been covering that heart,
hiding all that stuff. Never seen so many people hung
up on pornography, bound by pornography. You've never seen so

many people just want to be naked. But see what
happens is when you start doing it, and when you
do that, you become desensitized to.

Yeah, I see all that, but if you show it
all the time, it becomes natural. It's a norm for
for kids to see what. Remember when Janet Jackson had
that malfunction. Some of the young people said, well, it
was just a because they see they see that all

us to set a standard. He wants us to set
a standard. And the thing about it, the preachers are
preaching what the people want to hear. But years ago

Apostles said, the Lord was gonna pull the cover off
all this, and he's pulling the cover off a lot
of preachers. But my deal today is to encourage those
that are standing up for God.

I don't have to be a multi multi cultural church,
but I'm gonna leave me a remnant somebody that's gonna
hold fast to what I have been teaching and preaching. Amen, preachers,
we can't stop, we can't stop preparing God's people for
his return. There is a wall onto the pastors that

destroy and scatter the sheep of the Lord's pastor. He
said that no matter who comes and who goes, the
Lord will have his.

Do you want some rocks crying out for you? Like
I said, Jeremiah is a long scripture along book and
He's given the people a lot of chances, but they

Too many leaders are acting like hirelings. They're not my people.

don't follow me home. You got pretty you got preachers
want to be actors instead of men of God. You
want the Hollywood scene. We want the be e t

Awards instead of God's awards. We want the favor of
man and not the favor of God. They were called
to be preachers, or were they called to be preachers?
Some of them just went. Some of they Mama sent.
Did they get a word from the Lord? Now they

may have gotten a word from the Lord, but they
donet God. Off course, Amen, So we need to get
back to that straightway. A lot of people said, well
it's too hard. It's not too hard. He said, take
my yoke upon you and learn of me, learn of me. See,
I'm gonna say this, and I'm gonna say it again.

The devil is shrewd. He'll put in your head that
you can't do that.

Right, you can't do that. But did you try. But
did you ask.

God, did you take that step to get saved and
fell with the Holy Ghost? And see if you can
do it? See the devil wants you stop. You right
at the threshold. Right at the threshold, was saying, you
know what, Lord, I think I can do this, but
I can't do it without you.

If you're blessing, if you're healing, if you're saving, don't
do it without me. And that's a problem. We think
we can do it without him, but we can't. Preachers,
keep on preaching, keep on, keep on preaching. As I conclude,
I thought about this song we can't wait till midnight

when there's no sunshine. You are a stranger until there's danger,
and that's just not right. And he not gonna hear you.
And then as I was on my way to church
this morning, I heard of this old song, break up
that follow ground, Give your heart just like your own,

where your word will find sweet soil everywhere that it
is sung. Break up that follow ground, rid my heart
of sinful stone. That's what the Lord was trying to
get over to his people. Break it up and take
all that stuff out. And when you take it out,
don't put it back in. That's the problem. We take

it stuff out. He's taking stuff from us, and we
slowly sneaking it back in. I think I need this.
I thought I didn't have to have it, but I
think God, I need it, and were sneaking it in,
were sneaking it in.

We gotta get rid of it.

Break up that follow ground, my heart, your throne. Everybody's
standing to your feet. Praise God. We thinking, praise God
for the word. I hope I encouraged us. I hope

the men of God, the preachers that are out there, male, female,

to stand on God's word.

to help ourselves. Gonna have to do what He asked
us to do. And it's gonna hurt because their faces

Our definition of holy is. The Lord is great, the
Lord is good, the Lord is a loving God. He

he said, Come as your heart. But you don't stay
as you are. Now that's not in a scripture. That's

not in a scripture. But when you come as you
are and you start getting the infeeling of the Holy Spirit,
and the Holy Spirit starts ministering to you, you will
stop doing certain things. You're a new creature. He said,
mortify this body, kill it, kill it, kill it. But

he said, I present, I want you to be a
living sacrifice. So if you're a living sacrifice, you gotta
be a living example.

Example smoking weed because everybody else is smoking weed with
the Lord knows. I'm doing it for medicinal purposes. And
Texas is not legal, not the amount you smoking, and
that that they that they are allowing you to use
is just a like zero point five percent. And that's

just for people that have some type of sickness like
autism or uh, some other things. Amen, But we using
it because everybody else is using it. We're using it
for recreational purposes, and some people don't realize it. Well,

it does not mean that it's right. And that's the
problem with us. We see everybody else doing stuff. Oh
that must be right, he said. The downward road that's crowded.

can find a man that executed judgment and seek it

to put the words right where.

garden and to have a productive crop. The soil has
to be prepared because your ground is foulo. It's hard

it with a hand tool hal and I was breaking
it up, breaking it up, and didn't realize I had
broke this finger years ago hitting the bub and I

close my hand. My hand was I was in pain.
I couldn't even grab the steering wheel column. If I did,
it was like this. You know, well, anyway, you have
to break that ground up. And they have been in
so much dismay doing whatever they wanted to do. Their

when you garden, there's some things in that ground you
need to get rid of. You got to pick out
the weeds, You got to pick out the grass, pull
out the grass, right now I have an area, I
can't plow it.

After you weed eat it, you get all the rest
of the residue of the weeds out.

Make it pliable so that when you plant the seed
it will be able to grow. Now, I bought some
top soil before I did any investigating, and the type
of top soil I got was low grade. Because I'm
wondering why my plants aren't thriving, and because this type

of top soil doesn't have enough pete mass in it,
it doesn't have enough nutrients in it. And then and
I noticed when I started putting it in the in
the the pot, it was like a lot of sticks
and stuff. So that's a low grade type of type
top soil. Praise God, so follow ground is uncultivated, and

when your heart is uncultivated, can nothing get in it.
He's he you're preaching the word. The people are sitting there,
they hear it. It's going in one ear and out
the other. Having touched not one heart, had not pulled
on one heart string. We cry and we stayed the same.

The scripture says the devil he believed he trembled, but

we break up that phologram of farm, farmer has to
move items from the soul soil that keeps the plant
from growing.

to be prepared for spiritual growth. And because of the
world that we live in and we see so much,

doesn't when you look at the news, it affects us.
When you go to work and things are happening at work,
it affects you. So sometimes you have to break up

that follow ground. If we leave the thorns in, even
though the seed and the thorn might be to the
little small seeds. But if you know what that thorn
looks like, the thorns of sin, bitterness, apostasy. They will
all when they up later, they will choke the very

soil to receive seed, we must prepare our hearts to
receive the word of God.

that are standing up for God.

If you're blessing, if you're healing, if you're saving, don't

where your word will find sweet soil everywhere that it
is sung. Break up that follow ground, rid my heart
of sinful stone. That's what the Lord was trying to
get over to his people. Break it up and take
all that stuff out. And when you take it out,
don't put it back in. That's the problem. We take

it stuff out. He's taking stuff from us, and we
slowly sneaking it back in. I think I need this.
I thought I didn't have to have it, but I
think God, I need it, and were sneaking it in,
were sneaking it in.

are and you start getting the infeeling of the Holy Spirit,
and the Holy Spirit starts ministering to you, you will

living sacrifice. So if you're a living sacrifice, you gotta
be a living example.

Example smoking weed because everybody else is smoking weed with
the Lord knows. I'm doing it for medicinal purposes. And
Texas is not legal, not the amount you smoking, and
that that they that they are allowing you to use

just for people that have some type of sickness like
autism or uh, some other things. Amen, But we using
it because everybody else is using it. We're using it
for recreational purposes, and some people don't realize it. Well,

problem with us. We see everybody else doing stuff. Oh

But the road that I want you to go on,

you need to stop using folks for your benefit. Don't

telling out of the corner, telling what's happening, telling your business,
whether it's it's true or not. It's putting a damper
on the ministries. It's putting a black mark on those

that are trying because you know what the people saying, Well,

and doing all that. What makes this church different? It
behooves us, as saints of God, to live holy every
day and everywhere you go. Everywhere you go, you.

like the spirit of God is on them. Be not deceived.
God is not mob Amen. And also remember the devil trembled.

the preacher. Be like my kids, that's not scripture. Praise

We thinking praise God for those that are here the

asked that you to touch him with your finger of love.
Give them the grace and mercy that they need, show
them where they are, and you show them who you are.

We pray for our people of God. We see them trialing,
we see them going through. We see them not being
able to stand on their own. Most of them are
not able to stand on their own. They gotta go
with the crowd. But give them the stickability, give them
the wherewithal to say, I am who I am, and
that's who I'm going to be. I'm smart, I'm beautiful.

I don't have to do anything and everything. They don't
have to shake money in my hand for me to
know who I am. Let them know who they are.
They are a person and they can be a person
