was embracing his season. It didn't feel good to lose

even when times are tough. The word encourages us to
keep a thankful heart, allowing us to see the beauty
in every moment, big or small. We have to embrace

We have to find solace in the world of God.

and you feel that, you know, you got to, you know,
press yourself, and then I can't have nice things.

No, he was upright and prosperous.

He had numerous children, especially sons, and a bonded lifestock
were statist status symbols of wealth and greatness in that day.
He was a great He was your neighbor. He wasn't
nobody special.

He wasn't.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
When I say nobody special, sometimes we think you have
to have some type of.

Be up there or status.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
He was an ordinary man that was living, living before
the Lord and living upright. And because he was doing that,
God blessed him.

However, and living this life.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
You know, if you're gonna reign with them, you're gonna
suffer with them as well. And it came to a
point where a conversation came about about Joe, and the
sating was like, well, you got a here's your protection
around him. Yeah, he don't have no right but to
live because you blessing him. And so in other words,
he took the hairs of protection away from him. And
(04:10):
that's where jobs seasons started changing.

It's working for your good.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
And a job one in verses thirteen through twenty one.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
That's when his affliction started.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
And reason why I'm breaking down job a little bit
because Job is just like us.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
And some of the things that we are going through.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
I'm not saying putting any saying that your afflictions is
not worthy in it. But when you start looking at
what somebody else is going through, sometimes you can learn
to embrace your season a little bit better because we
know it could have been another way.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
But in verse thirteen through twenty one, that's when his
affliction started happening. His livestock, his livestock was killed, servants
was killed. It was just like an and and and
God is so amazing. He had always had somebody left
to come back and report, but every time he reported

of the disaster, it was one thing, one after another,
one after another, one after another. And when his children died,
he rented his clothes. But there he did not dare
to charge God foolish. That's embracing your season. And even
when all there, you've lost all your If he was
(05:39):
a a herss man, you done lost all your cattle,
so you can't you know you lo you lost your
cause you know he was abundance, He had a lot
of so his servants, his kids.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
He lost every thing. And then on top of that.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
That that was like, okay, he still ain't cut still out,
he still ain't renounced to or nothing. So then he
puts sickness on his body. Jesus, as I was reading
through Job, it's so much. I'm just trying to hit
high points. It's so much in Job, it is so much.

He he got to the point he wrote a whole chapter.
He was just on why he just shouldn't even be here,
like it was, I shouldn't even been born. He just
went into But he did not charge God foolishly. And
my point is Job embraced his season as a lord.
Liveth as he taketh, as he give, he takes. Blessed
(06:46):
me the name of the Lord. He just kept every
time something kept coming, he had a word. He found
silence in a word. How can I choose a god
that can give and can take? Even when his wife
came up to him, won't you just just curse God
and just die? Yes, the enemy was talking through his wife,
(07:14):
but he told a hushuf foolish woman. Even when you
got friends, when you're dealing in your season, you have
your family, you have people that are around you, are
trying to get you off of what God is trying
to work through you through your season. Like I always say,
(07:35):
we can't handle things like the world when we're supposed
to be saved, sanctified and filled up with the precious
holy ghosts. We got to handle things different because they
don't understand why your dad just passed, but you're still
at work and thinking you're supposed to be somewhere in
the corner balled up in a depression. The joy of
(07:56):
the Lord is my strength. Hallylujah. But when Joe was
going through all this out he kept just giving the word,
giving the word, given the word, given the word. He
was embracing his season. It didn't feel good to lose
all his children. And I just loved when he came
(08:16):
back and said, though he slay me, though he slay me,
yet will I trust him? But I will maintain my
own ways before him, Meaning even if the worst possible
or earthly outcomes were to happen to me, I would
(08:40):
still hope in my God. Regardless what is the well,
whatever you can found him and put up can be
the worst thing that God can put on you.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Though he slay me, yet will I trust him because
my trust is in him.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Because if I don't, if I can, if.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
I don't have my trust him, it's for nothing.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
I die and I go to half, it's for nothing
but God, for God. I live for God die. So
now think about yourself. No, I'm not gonna finish. I'm
not going to us yet. We're gonna finish up Joe.
Now I'm not just gonna leave him right there, because
as he went through all that. But remember I said,
(09:23):
it's working for your good. This doesn't happen in three days.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
And then he got his deliverance.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
This was over a period of time when sometimes when
we thinking we're going through things, all, uh, it's been
a month now, some need to be done.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Lord, if you.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Don't do it within a month, then then what then what?
You go back out in the world. The world came
out for you. Nothing that ain't nothing but the trick
of the enemy. Stay in the world of God, Stay
in the silence of the world, because that's where you're
go get your deliverance. You can't get your deliverance in man.
You can't get your deliverance in that self help book.
(10:07):
Deliverance is in the word of God. True deliverance is
in the word of God. So he held on. He
held on losing everything. I ain't hear nothing else about
his wife, but he had to rebuke her. But then
the friends came. Friends came far, someone was near. They
came far to speak, speaking his ear. But he still
(10:33):
embraced his season. Y'all not gonna move me. I'm not
gonna let what I hear move me because though he
slay me, yet, will I trust him? I don't know
if that's all what he kept saying. I'm gonna trust you, Lord.
I know you going somewhere with this because I know
you are the God of Abraham.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
How God, I know that you are who you are
in my life.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
I know when I didn't have food on the table,
you was a provider. I know when I thought I
was gonna lose my house. You was there when the
hook came and got my car. You blessed me with
another car. When they say I wasn't eligible for that
job or then qualified for that job, you made the job.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
So I'm gonna keep trusting you.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
I'm gonna embrace this season because I know it's working
for my good.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
I know he's doing something.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
He's working something out of me, because when we go
through our trials, our trials is not just to be
going through.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
He's trying to work things out in us.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
He's trying to place us, he's trying to get us
in a position because.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
We're not perfect. So every day he.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Has to work on us, and how he work on
us as our trials. You say you love me your
height or death, nobody can. And then something comes up.
We don't see you no more at church. You forgot
your testimony.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Well, well, my job, my husband, my kids, that's coming stuff.
What you're going through is no different than what somebody
else is going through.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
So okay, come again.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
There's nothing that you can place in front of God
and be like he was, unjust what you're going through.
It's nothing, no wonder the sun. Embrace your season. It's
working for your good. But as y'all went on and
kept embracing his season, God blessed him. Isaiah said, for
(12:43):
your shame, you should have double, and God blessed job
double than what he had before. And I kept looking.
I saw that scripture, but I kept looking. I said,
I had brought my calculator out. Hold on, let's go
let's go to Job real quick, Joe. Let's see, it's
(13:14):
the last chapter Joe forty two, forty two and twelve,
And my book is titled Job's Faithfulness Rewarded.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Twelve.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
So the Lord bless the latter end of Job more
than his beginning, For he had fourteen thousand sheep. Okay,
hold on, I'm a teacher, y'all. Hold on, we're gonna
do some comparing contrast and Job one in one it said, no, no, no, no, no,

I'm sorry, no.

No, you're right. I'm right.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Joe. It said he had fourteen thousand sheep. In the beginning,
it said he had seven thousand sheep. So when you
multiply that by two, that's double. Okay, I'm making see
what we with each other. Then he said, and six

sixteen thousand camels. Go back over to Joe one and three.
He had three thousand camels.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Uh huh.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Then it says, and a thousand yolk of oxen he
had five hundred in the beginning. Again, that's double. Then
it said, and a thousand she asses he had five hundred.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Everything was double.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
God God is not God is not gonna bless you
the same way when you come out how you were
in the beginning. That's what you call embracing, embracing your season,
because it's working out for your good, for his faithfulness,
(15:20):
for him trusting in God, he was rewarded. And not
only that, all the sons and the daughters that.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
He lost, God bless them.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
In thirteen he also he had also seven sons and
three daughters. And the three daughters he had, he just
didn't give him three daughters back. He gave them three daughters.
That was more fair than any of the young ladies
women in that area, meaning they were beautiful. God is
(15:51):
not gonna replea He not gonna bless you. He just
didn't give him three daughters. He gave him three daughters.
And then he made sure that no one was more
beautiful than Look at the God that we that's embracing
your season because he's go it's working for your good.
And what I also like is at the end, when
I was reading during my little studies, it was stating
(16:12):
that Joe was about seventy years old when all these
things started happening his affliction. But in verse seventeen it
says after he lived Joe, after this lived Joe one hundred.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
And forty years. He lived one hundred in forty years.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Not only did he bless him with the material things,
his family back, but he also his life one hundred
and forty I heard your sister, I heard jam.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Paum one hundred and forty years.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
So his sons he and he saw his sons and
his son's sons even for general rations.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
So job died being old and full of days. It's
working for your good. Now.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
I haven't seen one hundred and four year old people living.
You know that was back then. But see, God can
bless you, not only like I said, Not only he
blessed him with material things, gave him everything that the
canker worm and everything they destroyed. He gave him his
children back, not only his daughter's back, but he made
sure that no one would be more beautiful than them.
But he also granted more time in his life where
(17:31):
he could see all his children and his children's children,
and his children's children and his children's children.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
That's him embracing his season.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
What if he would have stopped when his kids would
have died, that is a testimony in hisself. If they
want the church, they were like Lord, we know Joe
was saved Joe.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Went through that.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
If he was still living today, that is a testimony
of how God, how good God is when somebody lives
true to God, how God. Even in the midst of
your season, God will bless you. It's working for your good.
It's working for you, guess. So think about yourself. What
(18:18):
are you embracing right now? I already said your season.
It's characterized by a particular circumstance. Everybody's circumstances is not
the same. So what are you embracing? Are you gladly
embracing your season? Embracing change is not always easy, but
(18:42):
it's essential part of growth. Each season brings into unique
challenges and blessings. Gratitude helps us focus on God's goodness
even when times are tough. The word encourages us to
keep a thankful heart, allowing us to see the beauty
in every moment, big or small. We have to embrace
(19:05):
our season. We can't let our season get to us.
We have to find solace in the world of God.
I know it doesn't feel good all the time.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
That's why in.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
And James, he said, ask if you lack any wisdom,
ask of God.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
If you need God.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
God today, I need a little bit more strength, ask
and don't doubt in your heart God would do just that.
He knows where every each and every one of us
are in our seasons, and every season. While we're in
our season, every day is not gonna be We're not
gonna be on the mountaintop.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
But my encouragement to you on tonight is that.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
To keep going, keep pushing, and if you need to
ask God for a little bit more strength, ask him
for some more strength.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
If you need to ask God for a.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Little bit more understanding, ask him for some understanding.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
If you need to ask him for a little bit.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
More peace, ask him for peace, because he would not
deny us of what we need. But what I want
you to know is don't charge him foolishly. Because the
Lord give it, then the Lord take it. God is good.
Everything that he does is good. Even when we don't
understand the circumstances. It's still good because it's working for
your good. Hallylujah, thank you Jesus, it's working for our good. Saints,
(20:31):
let us embrace each season with a heart attune to
the divine purpose behind it. There is a purpose behind
your season and what you're going through. Sometime your season
may not be embracing. It may not be about peace.
It may be about growth. God is placing you. It
may be about contentment where he's trying to tell you
(20:52):
stay still.

It may be.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
It can be many of things. But the thing is
he's trying to teach you something. He's trying to encourage you,
and the only way you're gonna get it is in
this word.

We can't be sayings of God.

We have to be that living example. Joe was that
living example. Even though everything was stripped from him, he
said that he was gonna trust God. Can you trust
God on tonight? Can you understand that it's working for
your good? God is not doing anything, He does it.
He don't want us to perish. He want us all
(21:31):
to make it. But we have to understand no cross,
no crown. We're not gonna We're not gonna just make
it and be like, oh, okay, I'm going in.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
No, you're gonna have to be tried in the fire.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
You're gonna have to You're gonna have to realize and
know God going okay, or you really my true disciple?
If I let you, if I have, if you lose
your job, you still trust me? If I take certain
things away from.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
You, Will you still trust me?
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Or you gonna learn to embrace this season knowing that
it's working for my good. He's going somewhere for this,
he going somewhere with this. Embracing one seasons involves trusting
God's provision and strength regardless of the external conditions. We,
as believers, I encourage to seek God's wisdom and Goddess
(22:29):
in discerning the purpose of your current season. Prayer and
meditation is vital for understanding God's will and finding peace
in his timing.

By understanding and embracing the.

Season you are in, we as believers can experience growth, contentment,
and deeper relationship with God. We have to understand that
what we're going through it's working for our good. How
we know that we can do this if we ain't

never went through it. God is trying to prepare us
with the seasons that we grow through. And we may
not understand why the seasons are happening. I don't understand
why is this happening to people like Nikki. I don't
understand how why are.

Yes, I miss my dad. I miss my dad tremendously. However,
I have solace in the word of God. Because I
know God. He's up to something. He didn't just God.
I just said, God would be an unjust God to
snatch the apostle from us, and we didn't have a remedy.
Sometimes a remedy may not be what you think it is.
(23:42):
But God said, it's working for the good. Everything is
working for the good. Everything that we have is in
the Word of God. What we have, it's in the building.
They may not be the apostle, but God all he
need is a vessel where he can work through. And
God is doing just that. I praise and I magnify God.
(24:03):
Because it won't always. The song says, it.

Won't always be like this.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
The Lord will perfect that's concerning you. Sooner or later.
It's gonna turn in your favor. Sooner or later, it's
gonna turn in your favor. He's working it out for you.

As I say, again, it won't always be like this.
He's perfecting. As I said, let patients have a perfect work.
He's perfecting that thing that's concerning you, not me, but
concerning you individually. But sooner or later he's gonna turn
that thing around for you. It's working for your good.

But you just gotta trust him. You gotta trust him
and believe that this word is you got the Regardless
of what goes or comes, this word gonna stand alone.

We got to know that we have silence in the
Word of God.

We can't go with every winning doctrine because right now
it's a lot of deception going on in the land.
Right now with the Word of God. People coming on
the radio, people coming on the podcasts and youtubes, and
they got all kinds of things about the Word and
what the and it just makes your face be like, huh, what.

But you got to know that, you know, you got
to know for yourself that this word stands alone. And
even if you don't, it says, if you lack any wisdom,
ask and if you ask in faith, I promise.

You God to reveal hisself to you.

Hallelujah, praise in my magnificant I just wanted to encourage you,
the Saints on tonight, embracing your.

Season, get ready for it, gladly accept it. And that's
easier said than done. But keep moving forward.

As we said in one of the lessons or Sun
in school, don't go back, don't work time, just keep going.

Even if you gotta go slow.

Maybe if you was going fifty miles and then you
have to slow up forty five. But just keep going,
Just keep going, keep coming to the House of God,
keep getting in his word. Keep surrounding yourself with the
Saints of God, the true Saints of God, though not
those friends that Job had.

Surround Joe self with the people of the Most High
God that can encourage you, because sometimes we gonna need
encouragement and it's okay, but embrace embrace your season because

it's silence in the Word of God.

Hubby saying his son in school, there is a solution.

It's a solution in the Word, whatever you're going through.

But I want to courage the saints because I know
we all going through. If you're not going through, bless you.
But trust is coming. It's coming, and I'd rather be
going through for God's sake than after in the world
because I know, regardless of what I'm going through, he'll
give me peace. The world can't give me peace. Hallelujhall

thank him. I thank him. On tonight, y'all raise, lift
your hands and give God a praise because he's worthy.
He's worthy. He's working it. He's working it for your good.
We gotta learn to embrace our season. It won't always
be like this. The Lord is perfecting that concerning you.

Sooner or later, he's gonna turn it in your favor.
He's gonna work it out for you. It's for your good.
And those that are watching you may't say, well, I
didn't say much about salvation, but yeah, for you to
be able to embrace this season, we're not doing this
on our own. We have a Holy Ghost that keeps us,

that instructs us, that comforts us whatever we need. I
love such a hubs, such hubb, but she'd just be
giving dropping out some nook. You can ask the Holy
Ghost for some things. Lord, I thank you, even when
you're not feeling the best. I like, Lord, I need
you on today. Lord, help help me on today. I'm
not feeling my best today, but I know with your

strength I.

When we get into that secret place of God, God
can reveal hisself to you.

He can give you that strength.

That's when you're embracing your season, not having a penny party,
not going into a corner, not getting with a group
of people and like woe it's me, But you're getting
in the world. You finding something to comfort you at
this time because right.

Now I need I need your Lord. I need Your Lord.
So no, I need to find a word.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
I need to find something that that that's gonna push
me to another to a to another place to get me.
Some people finding inspirational books. But in the Word, after
you suffer a while, Yeah, after I suffer. While, after
I suffer a while, you're gonna make me. But I
(29:39):
gotta suffer. I gotta suffer. It's solace in the Word
of God. You guys embracing your season. Someone must be
maybe after in the social media land, like you know,
I don't know. I don't know what to do. But
as we said, everything you need is in the Word
of God. If you truly want to see change, lift
(30:03):
your hands up and ask God to forgive you of
your sins, save you right now, and He will just
do that. But not only that, you need to get
that second step of grace, that the Holy Ghost, the
Holy Ghost. If we could just do it on our own,
as we were talking about in Sunday School, what would
be the purpose, no reason for Jesus to come. However,
we need the Holy Ghost. That's what's gonna keep us.
(30:27):
That's what's keeping me because I can't do it on
