Speaker 1 (00:00):
Change.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
That's the sub thought that I want us to think
on this morning.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
Transformation. It brings change.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
So we're gonna go to the Word of God this morning.
We're gonna be going to Romans chapter twelve, and we're
going to be reading verses one and two. And when
you have it, say amen, We're gonna wait for a
(00:32):
few more amens. So does everyone have it. It's a
little week on this side over here. Amen, So we're
gonna go ahead and read the Word this morning.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
I beset you there, for brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable
unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not
conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove is what
(01:17):
is that good, an acceptable and perfect will of God.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
A man may God as a blessing to the readers,
the hearers, and most of all the doers of His Word.
And this morning, in the topic and even in the theme,
it is talking to everyone. So this is a message today,
and this is a theme that we need to take personal.
I encourage everyone to take it personal on today. Everybody
(01:43):
to take it personal, because when I got the theme.
I took it personal and I started looking at examining
myself and looking at myself and seeing what I've been
saying and what I haven't been doing, what I'm going
to do or I'm fixing to do, but I still
haven't done it. But in my mind, I know if
(02:04):
I don't do it, I'm not going to see any change.
That's that's my mindset. Like I'm saying it, but I'm
not doing it. So why should I expect anything different?
And even if you're not, If you're a person that's
not saved, but you want something different in your life,
but you're still doing the same thing, don't expect anything different.
(02:25):
Don't expect change to take place in your life if
you're not doing anything different. Because God send his son
Jesus to die that we might have a.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Right to live again.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
But he didn't just want us to live, but he
wanted us to prosper in this. He didn't just want
us to live, but he came. He sent his son
to die. So what he's saying to you this morning,
if you're not saved, repent, and that's when the change
begins to take place. That's when it begins to take place.
But I'm gonna go back to verse two. It says
be and be not conformed to this world, but be ye,
(02:59):
which means means that is you me, be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, not by you trying
to renew my mind, but by the renewing of your mind,
that ye, you me may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God. So transformation brings
(03:25):
about change, and what is transformation? Transformation is a is
a significant and often dramatic change in a in character
or the nature or even in a function of something.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
And what has changed.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Change simply means to modify or to make different. But
what we have to understand, change and transformation are not
the same thing when you think about When I think
about change, I think about something that that.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
People do every now and then.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
One of the things that that popped up in my
mind was during Lee.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Because I work with a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
And even though they're not Catholic, when Lent comes around,
they decide that they're going to give up certain things
for that period of time. And see they change for
the days of Lent, but when Lent is over, they
go back to those things. That they gave up.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
During that time.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
See that means that there was no transformation. They just
made a change for a certain period of time. But see,
the thing about transformation is transformation happens on the inside,
where the change is seen on the outside. So if
you make a transformation, someone would see the change because
of the transformation that you made on the inside. So
(04:46):
transformation is the inner thing, but change is what we
see because of the transformation. So giving up something for
a certain period of time is not a transformation. It's
kind of like when a person said is that they're
going to go.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
On a diet.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
They do the diet because they're trying to obtain a
certain weight, they want to be at a certain level,
or they want to be at a certain weight, so
they go on what's called a diet. But see, we
have to we have to do something a little different.
If you want to be do you want to do
a transformation, because see, a transformation it lasts because it
(05:28):
happens on the inside. So instead of saying that you're
going on a diet, just say I'm making a lifestyle change.
So if it can become a transformation and it will
become a part of who.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
You are, and it's not something that.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
You always have to strive with because it's a part
of who you are. It has become it has transformed
your mind. That's why it says be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, which means it starts on the
inside and people are able to see the different diference
on the outside. So if you're telling me that you've
(06:04):
been saved and you're born again, but you're still doing
the same things, I'm questioning whether that is actually happened.
Because see, once you get saved, you repent of your
sins and then you turn. You don't repent and keep sinning,
but you turn, So there is no one.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Saved, always saved.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
You don't repent and keep sinning and saying that he
already did everything that he was going to do some good.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
No matter what.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
No, because if that's the case, he wouldn't say be
ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
He wouldn't have said that. So there's no one saved,
always saved.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
When you get saved, you repent and you turn, and
you allow God to start a transformation on the inside
of you. Because it doesn't just happen overnight. That's why
I say transformation is a process. There's levels that you
have to go through. And I'm gonna go back to
this diet thing because that's a big thing.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I'm gonna go back to that, because it's it's like.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
When you going when you're on a diet and you say, well,
I'm gonna give up sugar.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I'm raising my hand for the sugar. I'm gonna give
up sugar.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
And the first day you good, like I got this,
You feel you comforting in it, like I got this.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
But somewhere along the way overnight, getting into that second day,
your mind starts to it starts to to twist and
turn because your body is saying I need it just a.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Little bit, if I can get just a little bit.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
But see, we're talking about being transformed here, we're talking
about renewing our minds. That that thing that we feel
like that we need the sugar, We don't need that.
So we gotta we gotta find ourselves in a place
to where we gotta we gotta move, we gotta put
something in the place of it.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
We gotta keep our.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Mind clear, and and in order to do that, sometimes
you gotta stay away from those things. You can't go
around those things. So if you're going in the grocery store,
don't go over whether bakery is. When you get in
ready to check out, don't look to your left, don't
look to your right. Just look straight at the checker
because you know they got all these chocolate bars over.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Here on the side. And I like sneakers.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Don't don't nobody buy me in. And I'm just saying,
don't bring me in and sneakers. But you, you in
the in the process of being transformed, So keep your
eyes on the price, keep your eyes yes, stay focused
on what you're trying to do with what you're trying
to accompass, because you need to keep.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Your A one C down.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
So stay focused, stay focused, and ask the Lord to
show me how I need to do this thing. Help
me to understand how it can be successful in what
I'm doing, because I understand that you can't use me
if I'm all broken and messed up. You can't use
me if I'm me, if I'm not in good health.
But you said a buzz, He's said yeah, But love,
I wish above all that thy man is prosper and
(09:03):
be in health, even as our soul. So I need
to be in good health, so I'm gonna need you
to help me with that. But we're talking about transformation
brings change. So sometimes there's something that's called continuing education,
and where I work at we have to do that
(09:23):
on an annual basis, and we do it for different things.
It depends on whatever your position is, what you may
have to do. But continuing education is good because if
it freshes your memory on those things that you don't
use often, but it brings it back up. And when
you think about continuing education, let's think about this. What
(09:46):
is continuing education. There's different facets of it, but I
focus on one life long learning. Life long learning emphasizing
the ongoing nature of learning through out one's life rather.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Than just a specific period of time.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
So this is life long learning that we're walking in here.
As long as we're walking and as long as as
long as we're living holy, as long as we're living right,
we'll forever be learning. But we're going to come into
the knowledge of the truth. We're not just gonna be learning,
but we're gonna come into the knowledge of the truth.
Because we want transformation to continue to take place, and
(10:29):
we understand that in living this life, we're not always
going to respond in the right manner. But transfer transfer transfer,
transformation is still taking place. So we're learning as we go,
and we're taking all things as we go. In this
uh continuing our education of life long learning, we're laying
(10:53):
aside some things because we understand that even though it's
not a sin, it has become a way and it's
here reding my transformation. So I gotta lay it aside
because if I don't lay it aside, then it's going
to become a sin.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Because in my continuing education, the Lord told me.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
That I need to let that thing go because it's
not good for me, it's not necessary for the path
that I'm on.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
So in this.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Continuing education, it lets us see ourselves through the eyes
of God.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
It lets us see ourselves.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Through the word of God, that we will know what
we need to take off and what we need to
put on, and how we need to straighten up over here.
Because we got a little bit out of line right
there in that moment. We didn't act just necessarily the
way that He wanted us to act. Because he says,
let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ, Jesus,
and we didn't we didn't act in the mind of
(11:46):
Christ in that moment. But we're still in the process
of transformation, and.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
We're not gonna get out of.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
The process, even though sometimes it doesn't feel good. When
we're in the process of being transformed, when God changing
us and making us into.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
The being who he wants us to be. Sometimes you
may get.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
A black eye, but keep moving in the transformation. Just no,
it's not going to be black always, but it's gonna
come back to his natural color. So I think about
the Book of James, Well, it says being doers of
the word and not hears, only deceiving yourselves. But if
anyone is a hero of the word and not a doer,
he is like a man observing his natural face in
(12:27):
a mirror. For he observes himself and goes away, and
he immediately forgets what kind of man he was. Immediately
he forgets what kind of man he was. So in
our continuing education, that's why it's necessary to continue this
lifelong journey of learning.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Because sometimes we forget.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Sometimes we may hear, but it didn't necessarily take root.
If I can say that it kind of just bounced
on and it touches just a little kind of like
one of those sout nerve balls. You feel it, but
it didn't really just do anything. So when we walk away,
we tend to forget who we were. In some cases,
(13:12):
so he forget what man of man he was. But
in continuing education and going through God's word, it gives
us the ability to be able to see ourselves and
get ourselves together when we get our trade and notice
I said, when we get our tracked, because all the
time we don't do everything right, but we appreciate God
for his grace and his mercy that he shares up
(13:34):
on us daily, and he allows us an opportunity for
what we didn't get right. He give us an opportunity
out of space to get it right. Now, it's something
to you what you do in that moment, in that
space and that opportunity, because you gotta remember that transformation
is taking place, and if you want to be transformed
like him, you gotta allow yourself to go through what
(13:54):
you gotta go through. It says, But he who looks
into the perfect law of liberty and continues in he
is not a forgetful here, but a doer of the
work this one.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Will we blessed in what he.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Does if we allow ourself and we when we see
what we see in the mirror, or when we feel
that that nerve baller, that seeing from God showing us ourselves,
when he's when we see that, and when we begin
to acknowledge and take ownership of that and say, Lord,
(14:28):
that's me.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
You got me right there.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
But I'm asking you God to help me with that
because for some reason I can't seem to shake it.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
It keeps jumping back on me.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
So I'm asking you for deliverance in this, to help
me in my transformation so that I can be more
like you. So we want to be that person that's
blessed in what we do because we don't forget.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
We remember what God tells us.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
But just in case you don't, Grace and Mercy is
right there with us.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
It's right there helping us.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
And sometimes we can't see, can't see, but Psalms one
thirty nine and says, Oh.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Lord, thou hast searched me and known me.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
He knows us, He knows us better than we know ourselves.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
See.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
I can only look up on what I see, But
God knows and I gotta be honest with God. And
notice I say I gotta be honest, You gotta be
honest with God.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
This is a self evaluation.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
It's not about you looking around and saying what she
told me that she was gonna do this last year,
but she's still not doing it. But I'm pretty sure
that you got something that you said last week and.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
You still not doing it.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
So it's not about looking around and see who this
is for, Because let's say, Lord, this one is for
me because I need to see change and I can't
expect change if I keep.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Doing the same thing.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
And that goes for us if we if we keep
doing the same thing that we were doing in twenty
and twenty four, you can be rest assured that we're
gonna be the same place that we were at in
twenty twenty four when twenty and twenty five ends.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
But in order to see God do something different, we.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Gotta get up and we gotta do something different.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
We gotta move out of.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Our comfort zone and say, Lord, I trust you in
the midst.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Of what I'm going through.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I don't understand exactly where You're taking me, but I
trust you because I want to see change. I don't
want to keep going around the same mountain and not
making any progress. God, I need to see some soul say.
I need to see some people delivered. I need to
see some people healed.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
I need to see some.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
People set free. So in order to do that, you
gotta do something different. You can't come in with the
same old, same old. You can't given the same praise,
you can't given the same handclap. It'spect for God to
make change in here. You can't do what you did yesterday.
And thank God, it's gonna do something different. But he said,
step out on the water and trust me because I
(16:52):
got you.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
He said, I didn't bring you this far to leave you.
He said, I am not going to forsake you. I
am with you and I will never leave you. Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Trust in God to see change, Believe in him to
see change taking charge because.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
We don't have to be afraid of the enemy. Hallelujah.
Some of us been saved for thirty plus.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Years and the enemy hasn't won. And I tell you
he's not going to win. He does what he does
and that's who he is. But we gotta be who
we are. He said, greatest he is in you that
He is in the world.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
And if I got.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Power and you got power, and you got power, and
you got power and.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
You got power and you got Papa, and you got
power and you got power, he don't win.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Right. We gotta be found busy, not making an excuse
for why we can't, not making excuse for why.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
We can't, not.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Acting like it's an inconvenience to do something for the Lord.
I'm just saying, God knows us and he sees us
where we are. And I may not know everything that's
going on in a person's head, but I tell you
(18:29):
one thing, there are some actions that happens that tell
some stories, and we gotta be real about where we are.
We gotta be real. Some people being in church so
long they know how it goes. I wasn't raised up
in church, and that was to my advantage because some
(18:53):
people they know church and they know how to do church.
They know what it should look like, they know how
it goes, and they respect it because they were raised
in it.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
But then you got some they don't respect it.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
But instead of them, instead of them coming and just
being disrespectful, they just don't come. And you can appreciate
that but we gotta do something to.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Make change happen. In order to make.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Change, you gotta first recognize that there's a need for it.
You gotta recognize that there's a need. The first step
to getting help is admitting that you need help. That's
the first step. And we gotta recognize that we need change.
(19:44):
And some people recognize, they just don't want to do nothing.
I don't want to be that person because that's just
too much. That's too much, too much, too much responsibility,
and people gonna be looking for me and they gonna
be it expecting me to do this and to do that,
and I'm not trying to do all that. I just
(20:05):
want to be saved. I just want to make it.
He didn't call us just to get saved and make it.
What about the other people that need help? What about them? Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:20):
They on their own? No, that's not how they worked.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Because if that's the case, he could have said when
he was in the garden and he was talking to
his father, I'm just saying, he did what he did
for us, and we're not going to go through what
he did, what he went through. All he asking us
for was a little time, and he asking us not
(20:46):
to center church around your life. But sending your life
around church, that's what he asking us to do. I
can't do that because I got something going on. I
got something to do, I got something I need to do.
(21:11):
My grand baby turned a year old yes Friday, and
I was supposed to go to a birthday party yesterday,
but the kids got sick and they moved the birthday
party till today. And I immediately said, I'm sorry, I'm
not gonna be able to make it. I'm not gonna
be able to make it.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I said. I have to speak, I said, And it's
fourth weekend.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I told that to Dante. He was raised here so
he know. And he was, I'm gonna change. No, don't
change anything. Have the party, Have the party, I said,
But I gotta do the work of the Lord. And
see he understands that because he was raised in church.
(21:53):
So he not gonna come to me with no foolishness.
All you can just miss that one time, just get
somebody else to do it.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
No, that's not how this work. That's not how this work.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
I'm driving down forty five and because I want to
go to the birthday party, the Lord just be like,
you know what I'm gonna go ahead on it. All
forty tires gone flat that you just about. Uh uh,
not in my life, not in my life. But in
order to make change, we must first recognize that their
(22:25):
change is needed. So the old man and woman, if
they keep showing up, if they keep showing up, because
seeing transformation, there's no way you can be saved for
ten years and be the same person you was when
you first got saved. If you are, we can go
(22:49):
back there to the probom and we can talk, and
then we can pray because something is wrong. Because if
any man all woman be in Christ, he's a new creature.
All things have passed away and all things become new.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
That's a part of the transformation.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
So if that old person keeps showing up, some change
is needed. Some first words is needed, Some power is needed,
because see, you can get saved and not get filled it.
But you can only stay saved so long without the power.
It's necessary to have the power to get the power.
(23:29):
It's necessary because that's what keeps us saved and keeps
us grinded and keeps us focused when the enemy charges
up against us, and when he try to come up
against us, or when he used people to try to
get to us and get into that little crack. That's
why we need the power of God. He says, For
if you live after the flesh, you shall die. But
(23:52):
if you live through the spirit the deeds of the body,
if you if you but if you through the spirit
do modify the these other body, you shall live.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
So we living after the flesh, we're not gonna make it.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
But you gotta recognize that the flesh is what's controlling you.
You gotta recognize that. We see it, but you gotta
recognize it. Because see the thing about a person that's
in the flesh all the time, you can't talk to
them because they their understanding is not good.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
They not trying to hear nothing you saying.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Because as soon as you say what you see, right,
as soon as you say what you see, as soon
as you say what you see, you're judging. But you
didn't make an assumption. But you said exactly what you saw.
But you are judging because they know God, they got
(24:53):
a relationship with him, they pray to him, they read
their Bible every day. But the flesh, it is ruling
every situation in your life. You're not modifying the deeds
of the body. You're not killing it, you're not doing it.
And see the thing about it. I heard I heard
(25:14):
someone speaking the other day and they say, you know what,
it's time.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
To tell the people the truth.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Don't be lying to people making them feel good and
they on their way to hell. Because I mean, let
me just serve you. Notice that if you're that person
that's lying to someone to make them feel good and
make them keep giving money and keep showing up, guess
what they going.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
To the lake? Well they may actually meet somebody. Tell
them the truth.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
But see if you don't repent you going to the lake,
why because you're doing it for the wrong reasons. You're
not doing it for the right reasons. You all about game.
But we gotta tell people the truth. Sometimes the truth
does not feel good. Sometimes it doesn't apossible. Use to say,
just let us sit there and maybe it'll get it
(26:01):
slip it, it'll slip down eventually. It doesn't always feel good,
but it's what we need in those moments.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
In our life.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
And if I love you, I need to tell you
the truth. And if you love me, you need to
tell me the truth. Don't be telling me something and
I'm just wrong.
Speaker 1 (26:16):
As two left shoes looking like a fool.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Don't tell me that. Tell me the truth because it
is my desire to make it to heaven. And if
I'm out of order, I need to know him out
of order. I'm not above the law, glory to God.
I'm not above the word of God. God corrects me
just like everyone else. So we gotta be able to
tell everyone the truth. And I know it's a way
you gotta say things, but people need to know the truth.
(26:41):
Stop lying to people, deceiving people because you don't want
to hurt nobody feelings. Jesus was hurt when they pierced
him in the side, when they put the nails in
his hands and in his feet. He was hurt when
they massed that crimp, that.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Throwing the crown of throwings down on his hand.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
He was hurting when they beat him on the back,
he was hurting. Stop saying you don't want to hurt
anybody feelings. Feelings are not going to Heaven. They're not
gonna make it to the Kingdom.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Now are they going to Hell? Stop saying you don't
want to hurt people's feelings.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
And be real with people because we're trying to be
transformed into the likeness of Christ, that we may be
able to see him in peace, not when he say,
depart from me.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
It work as up inequalitly.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I know you not because somebody didn't tell you the
truth all that you were doing. They didn't tell you
that you were wrong. They didn't tell you that forulication
was wrong. They didn't tell you that line and cheating
was wrong. They didn't tell you that back biting was wrong.
Tell people the truth, I say, the people. Look, I
(27:46):
told somebody very close to me. They said, well, I
can't forgive them. I just can't because they shouldn't have
did that. I said, well, look, I just need to
let you know that unforgiveness, it's not going to heaven. Well,
I just I just need to let you know that
(28:09):
it's not gonna make it to the kingdom. I said,
that's all I'm saying. But I just, I'm just, I just,
I just okay, But I just need to let you know.
So we gotta be mindful that we gotta modify the
deeds of our body in this transformation that's going on
in our life.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Because it's the ongoing thing.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
It's not a one day thing, and transformation doesn't happen
just when we come to the church. We should be
transforming our mind when we're not at the church.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
That way, when we get into church.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
The preacher don't have to say the same thing because
we out of order. He can move on to something else.
They can move on to something else. They can move
on to the new converse with us old heads. We
need to get ourselves together and stay together. I'm just saying,
(29:01):
in order to make changes, we gotta recognize that there
needs to be a change Psalms fifty one. David was
talking to the Lord because this is after he had
laid with Batshev and then had a husband. Her husband killed,
he said in verse so he said, have mercy up
(29:21):
on me, o God, according to thy loving kindness, and
until the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgression.
We gotta recognize the changes needed. David recognized because of
the prophet Nathan that he was wrong. That's why I
say we gotta tell people the truth. It's a way
to say it, but we gotta tell people the truth.
(29:43):
He says, wash me thoroughly from mine iniquities, and clean iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sins. We gotta recognize that
change is needed. He says, I acknowledge, for I acknowledge
my transgressions and my sins.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Are ever before me. Hollylujah. But then I like he
jumped burst ten and says, create in me a clean heart.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Oh God, Don't just create a clean heart in me,
he say, but renew the right spirit within me. After
you create in me a clean heart, God, I need
you to renew the right spirit in me so I
can keep this clean heart that you just gave me.
I need you to renew the right spirit in me.
I need it in me, not on me, but I
(30:30):
need it in me. See, the spirit of God can
get on you, but we need it in us that
when we're going through our transformation, we're able to go
through and lift our hands up to.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
God and say, God, I know you're doing something in me.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
I don't understand this right now, but I'm trusting you.
I believe it in you, Lord, that you're making me
better than I was yesterday.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
God, you're doing something new.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
So he says, create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew the right spirit within me. He says, Cast
me not away from our presence. Worry to God, don't
throw me out of your presence.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
I'm lifting my hands to your God. I'm acknowledging that
I need change. Don't take me away from your presence,
he says, And take not thy holy spirit from me.
David said this, take not thy Holy Spirit from me.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
Glory to God.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
He says, Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, Hollylujah.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Restore the joy of thy salvation unto me.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
This is David talking. But he recognized that change was needed.
Glory to God, and he began to go to God,
and he says, uphold me with our free spirit, hollylujah.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
This is what David said.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
It's not always going to be easy in our transformation,
but we gotta trust God that he knows what he's doing,
and we gotta allow ourselves to go through these moments
and these times.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
In our lives.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Everything is not always going to be the way that
we want it to be. But to trust God that
is working in our favor. Even when we're down on
our back. We still gotta trust God that is working
our favor. Even when people say, I don't understand why
you still trusting in that God. I don't understand why
you still believing in him when he didn't do this,
(32:16):
and he didn't do that. You said he could do this,
You said he could raise up to Dad, you said
he could heal sick bodies. I don't understand why you
still trusting in him because he never failed. And see,
I have learned to accept what God allows. That's why
I'm still trusting in him. He says life and deaths.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
In the power tongue.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
But it's once a point unto man, hallelujah. It is
once a point unto man.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Glory to God. Hallyluias. It's once a pointed U.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
To man, glory to God. And whatever he says, that's.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
What it is.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
So that's why I'm still trusting him. Glory to God,
because I know what he can do. I'm not worried
about what he didn't do, but I know what.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
He can do.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Hallylujah. Thank you Jesus. Transformation brings change. All you gotta
do is trust him. All you gotta do is believe
in him and know that he's working it out for
your good. If nothing changes, nothing changed. There's a quote
(33:14):
that I found and I thought it was good. It
says growth is painful. Change is painful, but nothing is
as painful as.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Staying stuck somewhere you don't belong.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Master Robert Frankovic wrote this quote, It's painful, but nothing
is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong.
We have to embrace change if we want to see change.
(33:52):
Even when we don't understand, we still have to embrace
change so that the people will know that the God
that we're serving, he's still that same God.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Because see the world is trying to defame who he is.
Speaker 2 (34:07):
But little do they know, it doesn't matter what they do,
He's still gonna be the same God. He is the
beginning and he is the end, and after him there
is no other. So the world knows, they know, they
know that. But the devil is on a rampage with
this spirit called deception, and it's in the church. See,
(34:34):
he don't he doesn't need to deceive somebody that's not
in the church. And when I say church, I'm not
talking about a building. Let's make that clear. I'm not
talking about a building. I'm talking about the church. He's
trying to deceive in the church, and some parts he's
he's been successful, but God's grace. God's grace is going
(35:01):
to allow some of these people to find their way back.
And when we see this spirit of deception, we don't
need to say now, you know, they know better than that.
They've been saved too long to be caught up in that.
We don't need to be saying that. What we need
(35:22):
to do is we need to pray, and we need
to have an eye, an eye to see the spirit,
not the person, but see the spirit.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
That way we can pray to God that God brings
them back to their rightful place.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
It's time out for all this gossiping and saying what
God did you? Did you see that social media? Either
you're gonna use it for good? Are you gonna you're
gonna use it for bad? But it's what you make
of it. But see if you knows it. I know
(35:59):
Pastor Pence and say, you know, naturally suspicious, But I'm
saying nosy. If you nosy, you gonna go right on
there and you're gonna find something that that's gonna entertain
your thoughts. But see, be ye transformed by the renewing
of your minds. Be Ye transform while you on not
looking for stuff in church people, because you you scrolling
(36:21):
down church people's pages looking for something, and guess what
something pops up? They know they out of order, look
at them. Then you you're gonna take it so far,
you gonna screenshot it because you need, you need to
share it with some more church people so they can
see what sister so on and so on, brother so
and so doing. Now, let me I ask. I always
(36:43):
ask a question, and I'm almost through. I always ask
a question to people sometimes, well, I ask this question.
I really use it on tiring and you know different
individuals sometimes like is what you think about what you're
about to tell me?
Speaker 1 (37:01):
Now?
Speaker 2 (37:01):
What I want you to think is how is what
you're going to say going to benefit me spiritually?
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Is it going to add to me? Is it gonna
help me? What is it gonna do?
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Because if it's gossip, I don't want to hear it.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Now.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
If you're gonna start out this conversation with well, I
saw this and I just feel like we need to
pray about it. Okay, that's a different approach. But don't
come to me with some mess by somebody at church.
If you're not willing to pray, don't come to me
with that. And we need to stop that in the
(37:44):
church house. Not the church, but in the church house.
We need to stop that because what you're doing is
you're sowing seeds of discord and you're dropping seas. And
see what when caes ll drop, at some point they
begin to row. And some seeds, when they grow, they
begin to spread.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Yeah, it begins to spread, and it moves across, the
moves all over. It can be a running plant. So
you need to be mindful of that because we're trying
to be transform into the likeness of Christ that we
may please Him. So the words from this song and
I'm gonna close it says change me, O God says,
(38:28):
make me more like you. Change me, Oh God, wash
me through and through, Create in me a clean heart
so that I may worship you.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Change me, Oh God, make me more like you. Change me.
Oh God, wash me through and through.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
And I like to wash me through and through because
it's a constant. It's not just washed me for this moment.
That wash me through and through, creating me a clean heart.
See get that, that's where it all starts, setting that heart,
creating me a clean heart.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
So that I may worship you Lord.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
I need you to change me, not my sister, but
I need you to change me. But because see, after
I have been converted, and after I have been strengthened in,
I can go and strengthen my sister. I can go
and help my sister up. I can go give her
hand up instead of stepping on her. I can say,
reach my hand down to pick her up and say,
(39:27):
come on, we can do this together. We can walk
this walk together. We can go through this transformation together. No,
it's not easy, but we trust in God because we
understand that if nothing changes, nothing changes. Everyone resting on
your feet this morning, thank you Lord, to those that
(39:47):
are watching and those that are listening this morning, maybe
you need to change because you see that nothing is changing,
and you understand now that it's not changing because you're
still doing the same thing. But God sent his son
Jesus to die that you could live. Say he for
(40:09):
God so loved the world that he gave his only
begodden son that who sever believed in him should not
perish but have everlasting life. And that is the beginning
of your change.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
When you believe that.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Jesus came, that he died, that he rose, you can
be changed. You have to believe those things because it
starts with believing in God. Because we don't live this
life just off of our pure knowledge, but this is
a life that we live through faith. We live it
through faith. We haven't seen Jesus, but we believe that
(40:47):
he was. We haven't seen the Lord, but we know
that he is. Because it took nobody, but a God
could save us. Nobody but a God could deliver us.
Nobody but a God could bring us through. And some
of the valleys that we walked in, nobody but a
(41:09):
God could.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Bring us through those valleys.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
I'm not against counseling at all, but they can only
take you so far.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
But when they get you to the end of the line,
God is.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
Still right there and he's able to take you into
your full deliverance that you need. So this morning, if
you're sitting there and you're looking and you don't understand,
but you know that you want to change, lift your
hands to God right now and begin to tell him, say, Lord,
forgive me.
Speaker 1 (41:38):
Of all my sins.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
God, I need you to save me right now. I
need you to deliver me right now. I need you
to heal me right now. God, And I need to
be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
I don't want to walk this way anymore. I don't
want to smoke this anymore. I don't want to drink anymore. God,
I don't want to have sin. And I'm not married anymore. God.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
But I want to surrender my life to you because
I need a change in my life.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
God. This is taken over me. It's out of my control.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
But Lord, I lift my hands to you this morning, God,
and I surrender my will to you.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
I surrender my heart and my thoughts to you. God.
I surrender my body to you, Lord, a living sacrifice. God.
I'm asking you Lord to move in my life right now. God.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
If you praive that God, believe that he's moving right now.
Believe that He saved you in that moment. And wherever
you are, you need to find a word church. But
if you in Dallas, if you in Dallas anywhere, we're
at one zero one to one saying road Hallelujah, Dallas,
(42:44):
Texas seven.
Speaker 1 (42:46):
Five two two seven.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
If you're here anywhere, find your way to the church.
Because faith coming by hearing. Transformation is going to come
the more you.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Hear the word of God. So find yourself.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
Getting off your seat, getting in your car, getting on
the bus and driving to the church, that you may
grow in the Word of God, that you may grow
in your spirit and not be bound up and entangled
up because God is a deliverer on this morning, hallelujah.
If that's you, believe that God save you today, hallelujah.
(43:22):
Just take that next step of grace. And for those
that are here in the sanctuary this morning, maybe there's
someone that want to be saved, you want to surrender
your life to Christ. We're making an altar call at
this moment. Or maybe you saved but you need to
be filled with the power of.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
The Holy Ghost. Come on down this morning.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
And God is here to save, He's here to heal you,
He's here to deliver you. Or maybe you saved and
feel but you just need God to touch you. There's
nothing wrong with getting a second touch or a refeeling
because we know that that free and God is freely
giving refeelings. So this morning, if that's you, come on down, hallelujah.
(44:05):
Or maybe you want to stand for someone else this morning,
you can come down and we'll pray and believe God
for them on today because I know that prayer will
go where we can't go. I know that prayer will
do what we can't do. Prayer travels thousands and thousands
and thousands of miles. We're standing here and we send
(44:25):
the prayer over into another country and it goes there
because we serve a God that's everywhere.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus, You dest because a ready.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Even still.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Trusting your Guy. You turn to you right now and.
Speaker 2 (45:50):
We expecting you to move.
Speaker 3 (45:57):
You don't snif an amazing.
Speaker 2 (46:44):
Thank you Lord, Glory she suyscept be no one else.
Everyone lifting their hands. Father, God, we want to thank
you this morning.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
God. We want to appreciate you God for your word
on today.
Speaker 2 (46:56):

God to stay the course. God, to trusting you and
too believing you.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
