È stato Capo Ufficio stampa dell’Ente provinciale per il Turismo di Reggio Calabria.
Dal 1982 in RAI, dove percorre tutta la carriera professionale fino a diventare Capo Redattore della sede regionale della Calabria. In RAI ha seguito i principali avvenimenti di cronaca degli anni ’80-’90 e poi gli eventi politici fino al 2010.
Ha ricevuto numerosi riconoscimenti tra cui il “Premio Cultura” della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri, il “Premio Brutium”, il “Premio Crotone Pitagora”, il “Premio Valarioti”.
Ha pubblicato i volumi: Un po’ di noi – Storia di un viaggio in Calabria che ancora continua. (Ed. Pentagono), I diari di mio padre (Pellegrini editore).

È stato Presidente del Circolo della Stampa “Mariarosaria Sessa” di Cosenza.
