Join us this episode as we sit with and interview occult shop owner, metal frontwoman and spiritual healer Natasha Michelle.

Natasha has spent most of her life practicing witchcraft and singing in bands. Both music and a sense of spirituality were instilled in her from a young age, be it sitting at her grandmother's altar or listening to her dad's band on her walkman as a lullabye. After completing her degree in Criminal Behaviors and spending some time in the public mental health system, she abruptly changed course, dropping out of her Masters in Clinical Mental Health and focusing on one in Metaphysical Sciences and Spiritual Conseling. Haivng no interest in working with a broken system, she decided she would build her own. Now the owner of Lil Shop Of Lilith offering a variety of products and services, including inventory from other local artisans, she is doing work that calls to her and helping those in need at the same time. She is also the frontwoman for her current band Animus for about three years. Having fun creating with her fellow bandmates but also knowing to not take themselves to seriously. Letting it flow.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
