I have no desire to attract “followers”. I want to attract leaders. Leaders who are willing to learn or apply their strengths to help other people. That’s it! That’s a leader.

Here’s how I do this strategically.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
All right, so let's talk about this.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I I want to help you and help the world
learn how to attract leaders. Okay, I you know, I've
I've been in the social media game for a while now,
and I've really worked hard on my and honing my
skills to you know, develop a business on the Internet
and become a pretty good Internet marketer. I would consider

(00:31):
myself a pretty good Internet marketer. I mean, I mean,
just one of the things that makes me the happiest
is I've created a community called the Unleash You Strengths community.
We've got, you know, we've got a little over a
thousand people in there, and about two thousand people have joined,
a little over a thousand that are very active and
so on. So I'm just like, I'm just I consider
myself a pretty good Internet marketer.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I don't have hundreds of thousands of people yet, so
maybe when I get there, I'll consider myself a great one.
But there are some things that I've learned that have
really helped me move much quicker. And it's having a
desire to attract leaders versus followers, because you kind of
you kind of get this feeling that and I hear
this a lot you see it, And even in social

(01:13):
media it says how many followers you have? You know,
I think like Instagram for example, right, so it tells
you how many followers you have, and like for me,
I don't really want followers, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I want leaders.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I want to attract leaders, people who are passionate about
the same things that I am, and to kind of
join me in lock arms and do this with me.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Right. I don't want to make this about me.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I want to make this about us doing things to
make the world a better place. And without a doubt,
this quality, this thing that I'm gonna share with you
over the next four episodes of my podcast have been
the most eye opening and the most specific to help
me know exactly what to do to attract leaders. So

(01:58):
what I'm gonna teach you is is four qualities of
an attractive leader. And I got this. I didn't make
this up. This isn't my framework. This is actually from Gallup. Now,
if you've ever heard of Gallup, I talk about Gallup
at all a lot. Uh. They are the greatest company
in the world when it comes to information. Okay, Like,
if you wanted, if you wanted to know how the
world felt Gallup would pull them and tell you they're

(02:24):
pretty amazing. And one of the things they did may
years ago is they asked people what are the qualities
that you look.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
For in a leader?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Right Like, if you're looking for a leader, or you're
looking to follow someone, or you're looking to join someone's mission,
what are the four what are the qualities that they
have that are attractive to you? And after polling millions
and millions of people, they discovered that there were four
that showed up the most. These four qualities that showed

(02:53):
up showed up the most is precisely what I do
on a daily basis to attract people to my mission,
my programs, my trainings, all the things that I do.
I as long as I'm living out these four qualities,
i am doing everything right, everything that.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Is required to attract leaders.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
And so what I'm gonna do over the next four
episodes is I'm gonna break down each one of these
four qualities. I'll tell you what they are right now,
and then over the next four episodes, I'll break them down.
So the first one is trust. Okay, they want a leader.
The people follow someone they can trust. The second one
is hope, Okay, they want someone who can give them hope.

(03:35):
The third one is compassion. They want to give they
want to follow someone who is compassionate. And then the
fourth one is stability, someone who is always there. Okay,
So what I'm gonna do in this episode today, I'm
gonna break down the first one, which is trust, and
we're gonna talk about what is trust and how to
help other people on as best as you can on

(03:58):
your end to help other people trust you. Now, if
you've got relater or belief high, let's say, if you've
got relater or belief in your top ten, you are
the most difficult.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Let's be honest, right, you are.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
The one that when I say I'm going to work
hard to get you to trust me, you are like,
all right, buddy, you got a lot of work to do.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
And I get it.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
And so what I do me personally, because I understand
all the strengths and how they work. I think of
a person who is a high relator and a high
belief and I ask myself, how can I do the
work enough to convince a person that's stubborn, right and
that picky.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
To trust me? And it's one simple thing.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Every day I go about doing everything and anything I
possibly can to create proof that all I want to
do is help.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
All I want to do is help when it comes
to my own personal desires, when it comes to my
business and my family and everything I do every single day,
I have figured out exactly how all of it lines
up with.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Who I am.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Everything I do is to help. That's all I want
to do. I have five influencing strengths in my top ten,
which means that I obsess over moving people forward, and
I have learned how to let go of what my
vision of moving forward is and only get really good

(05:39):
at knowing what is proof of forward movement when I
realize that it's simple. I ask a person what do
they want and where are they? And once we are
clear right where they are and what they want, then
it becomes a game of how do they want to
do it? And where I come in is helping you

(06:03):
get or help anyone get the next step done and
then the next step and then the next step. Not
my way, right, because my way works really beautifully for
only one person. What I want to do is I
want to do it your way or other people's way right,
not my opinion of what God's way is and not

(06:25):
my opinion of what will help the world. I just
want to help one person get towards where they want
to be.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Even if they don't know where they want to be,
then that's what we want to get to get to
the point where they know where they want no matter what,
always moving towards something. So every day I wake up
and say, how do I prove to people that all
I want to do is help? That is how I

(07:01):
create trust. I work my ass off to help the
relators and the belief people in this world truly in
their heart believe that all I want to do is help.
And if I and when I focus on that, everybody
else right just kind of like follows along. They just
kind of follow along. The ones who resonate with the

(07:24):
things that I do, they follow along. And here's what's
beautiful about it. The people that I work with, that
I teach or I train, they're the ones that are
showing up as leaders in my business, in my life.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Right.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
They come to me and they'll say things like, Eddie,
how do I do what you do? How do I
get involved in what you are doing? I will love
what you're doing. I love I love seeing what you
do and I want to be a part of it.
I want to learn from it. I want to take
away from it something that I can create my own
things with and my friends. That's what happens. I get
these messages just about at least once a week's someone

(08:00):
in my Unleash your Strengths community or someone I know
or just like Eddie. I love what you do. I'm
in What do I do? How do I help? How
do I bring you your message to other people? And
how do I use what you're doing to help me
bring my message to other people? My friends, these are leaders,
and so the best way that you can do that
is to honor these four qualities. Trust, hope, compassion, in stability.

(08:23):
On the next episode, I'll break down hope and how
anybody can create hope for others. All right, I hope
you enjoyed this. Have an awesome day, my friends. Doing
things authentically with your strengths is required. Get my audiobook,
