From Sobros HQ in Nashville, Tennesseeto wherever you're cheering on your Tennessee Titans.
The Sobros Network presents the Unofficial TitansPodcast. Welcome back for another episode

(00:34):
of the Unofficial Titans Podcast right hereon so Bros Network. Mine's right ass
is tight. It's your boy,Big Natural Stony Keeley flying solo today,
squeezing in an episode at the eleventhhour as I am off to do here
on the Unofficial Titans Podcast. ButI didn't even realize that I didn't have

(00:56):
a scheduled episode for this week.Everything I've recorded this week is going to
be for the future because offseason contentis approaching yet again. It is that
time of the year where we lookback and Owen and I special guests and
I I don't want to reveal anysurprises. I kind of like the idea
of you just getting the topic whenit hits your RSS feed in the middle

(01:18):
of the night. But it's thattime of year where we have evergreen discussions.
We talk about Titan's history, wetalk about rivalries, specific games players.
You're going to get to know atleast one of your favorite Titans creators
this offseason and it's a time forme to kind of take my foot off

(01:41):
the guests for a little bit.The only time of the year that I
take multiple weeks off from this shit. But it's the safest time to do
so because there's not usually shit happening. That said, we had a great
episode last week with bee Will, and I didn't want to go, oh,
oh my god, just to scratchmy nose and like pull the nose

(02:05):
hair. Coming up on thirty eightyears old in a few weeks, man,
I the nosehairs are sobering development that'shappened in the last I've noticed it
the last couple of weeks, LikeI have hair in my nose and it's
it's a very harrowing realization. Sosorry, I'm trying to navigate this tough

(02:25):
situation. Now. What it is. You had Zach on a football show
yesterday fighting through a cold, andI'm trying to fight through these fucking nosehirs
that are itching me. Oh man, I'm gonna have to be one of
those old dudes with a nosehair trimmerif I don't, If I don't rectify
this situation, it's crazy. Ihate the idea. I'm already getting a

(02:51):
lot of gray in my beard andmy hair. Anyway, I hated the
idea of a week passing without anepisode because off season content starts next week.
So where we left things with ourepisode with b Will was fine,
don't get me wrong, but likeat the same time, OTAs are happening,

(03:13):
there's some stuff going on in theTitans Titans twitter landscape that I wanted
to talk about, and I justhated the idea of not doing a summer
preview of sorts and just leave youguys this week without an episode. So
I put some put a call forquestions out. I got a couple of
Sobros mailbag questions that pertained to theTitans that I thought were pretty interesting that

(03:35):
I'll talk about, and there area few things that I wanted to weigh
in on. So probably going tobe a light episode famous last words every
time I say that I talk fora fucking hour. But probably a light
episode. As we preview the summerhere on the Unofficial Titans podcast, I
want to start with the Ran Carthonappearance on Busting with the Boys. There

(03:57):
were a couple of nuggets that Itook away from that that I found to
be pretty interesting. Number One,it's a great show. I mean,
go go listen to it. Betweenthat and the episode with Brian Callahan,
the boys are getting some insight onthe Tennessee Titans, and man, it's
hard, it's hard to watch thoseinterviews and not get excited about the direction

(04:18):
this franchise is heading in. Itsounds like emotional intelligence is at the forefront
of this thing, and Brian Callahanand Ran Carthon both understand the importance of
relationships and understanding what it takes toget the most out of a player,
So there was some insight to that. But I really am fascinated by just

(04:42):
how wrong a lot of the localmedia was on the relationship between Ran and
Mike Vrabel because as we continue tolearn more and I don't know, I
mean, yeah, maybe there's thechance that it's all just smoke to try
and you know, you don't wantto bad mouth you don't want to bad
mouth the guy after he's been firedor anything like that. It's you know,

(05:05):
not a classy move. But itsounds like they were genuinely on the
same page and for the narrative allholiday season, like November to December,
the growing tension within the building.Everybody was inclined to think that it was

(05:25):
a Ran versus Mike issue, andwhen you hear the guys talk about it
doesn't sound like that was the case. I think what we've learned throughout the
months since Mike Rabel's firing is thatit probably was more Amy and Mike.

(05:46):
I don't know. I mean,it's still we're probably never going to truly
know. It's not like ESPN's liningup chomping at the bit the thirty for
thirty on the Tennessee Titans at theend of the twenty twenty three season.
But I think it is interesting evidencethat points towards supports the idea that they

(06:11):
weren't necessarily as at each other's throatsas everyone made it out to be.
And so that was kind of interestingto hear about and to hear what a
tough day it was for Ran Carthonhis family. That was pretty eye opening,
I would say, talking about thebig board, kind of laying it

(06:36):
out in playing English, how theydrew up the board, scouting what Ran
Carthon did just to get a footin the door with the front office.
That's wild. Taking workouts with teamsjust to shake hands with the GM exchange
business cards, so to speak, saying I want to be where you are

(06:59):
one day. It's a pretty uniquestory, and I was happy to see
him on there kind of letting hisguard down a little bit, right,
because that was a big criticism ofhim in year one. He's like,
oh, well, Ran Carthon doesn'tknow how to talk to the media.
He's awful, he's awkward, hedoesn't know what he's doing. And everybody

(07:19):
doubled down on that in the pressconference after Mike Rabel was fired, and
I said on this show, now, I kind of feel like that seems
like a guy that's got a weightoff of his shoulders. That's the guy
that's in there, and it seemslike organizationally, there is a little more

(07:43):
of a laid back nature. ButI think Rand Carthon has been great on
the quote unquote press tour in twentytwenty four. I think the guy knows
what he's doing, and the intricaciesthe depth at which he talked about this
whole process this year, his careerand what's gotten him to this point kind

(08:07):
of made me feel like that again. It's like, you know, I
think this guy stayed in the shadows. I think he had a lot of
respect for Mike Rabel, but thingswere done a certain way and it's just
not the case anymore. So it'sa it's a fascinating interview, it's a
lot of fun. If you hadn'thad the chance, I would suggest make

(08:28):
the time to go listen to it, to go watch it wherever you take
in your shows. And while we'retalking about Mike Vrabel, I don't know
if you guys have picked up onthis in recent weeks or not, but
like A at a certain point,I mean, we gotta, we gotta
stop piling on Mike Vrabel. Itfeels like kinda kind of lost track of

(08:52):
all the good that he did.And I know people had a field day
with the ardent quote from this weekthat said, you know, we didn't
correct our mistakes, we just movedon. And here we under Brian Callahan,
we correct our mistakes before we moveon. And you can debate the

(09:16):
merits of doing so. But Ido think it's a little it's a little
harsh to just automatically assume, oh, well, Callahan does it better,
This is better, And I thinkit is just behavior from some people that

(09:37):
just you. You want to beright about the ex girlfriend, right you
broke up with her, and youdon't want to acknowledge that she did anything
good because then you might feel sillyfor breaking up with her, you know
that sort of thing. Mike Vrabelis our ex girlfriend at this point.

(09:58):
But at a certain point, likeyou, you got to give it up
and move on, man, becausethere's no data yet to suggest that,
oh, the way we're doing itnow, we're fixing our mistakes. There's
no data to suggest that that's actuallyeffective. Seems the players are responding to

(10:18):
it well, but it strikes meas like different strokes for different folks kind
of deal. Maybe we get intothe season and we start seeing the exponential
impact of that, like, Wow, these guys look better prepared. But
there's no way to really judge itright now. And I wouldn't say that

(10:43):
it's necessarily sour grapes because I don'tknow. I mean, I don't know
how the coaching staff viewed ard andKey. I don't know how arden Key
felt about the coaching staff throughout theyear. But it's the tone, the
enthusiasm with which he answered the questionfrom Paul Kuharski that kind of just I
don't know. It sounded to melike the way we do it here is

(11:07):
better, and thank god we don'thave to do it that way anymore.
But like I said before, MikeRabel won a lot of games with the
Titans. I think the system, the defense that he ran was pretty complicated,
and I think he and Shane Bowen, We're gonna go out there and
coach the scheme and expect the playersto execute. And if you showed in

(11:31):
practice that you couldn't execute, theydidn't spend a whole lot of time correcting
it. They found somebody that coulddo it. Because wasn't that a message?
Am I crazy? Am I misrememberingthis at some point and Mike Rabel
said something like, you do it, or we get somebody that can do
it. So it's just a differentcoaching style kind of thing. But I'm

(11:54):
I'm kind of at a point whereit's interesting to hear, like, oh,
okay, this is how Denard Wilson'sdefense is doing it in practice now.
But I think there are ways todo it without taking such veiled shots
at the previous regime. And youknow, I mean, listen, it's

(12:16):
one thing if Jeffrey Simmons says it. It's another for arden Key to say
it. He's been here one year, one summer, one season with the
Titans, so I don't know aninteresting insight into the way the two coaching
staffs differ. But it rubbed methe wrong way a little bit, the

(12:37):
tone, because the way that somepeople are taking it and running with it,
it's made to sound like Rabel andBowen were just incompetent or they didn't
care that you made mistakes, andI just don't think that's what it was.
I think they were so lost inthe sauce on the intricacies of this

(12:58):
system that you either got it oryou didn't, and if you got it,
you were in Mike Rabel's good graces. If you didn't get it,
you were in the doghouse. Sothat's why the only the only reason I
take issue with it is just, you know what, let's just stop and
take a step back. I don'twant to be jumping at the chance to

(13:22):
pile on Mike Rabel every chance thatI get, because I still think he
did a lot of good things forthis this Titans organization, and I'm happy
with the direction that it's moving innow. But you know, I don't
you know, I don't want tolook at old pictures and say my ex
is fugly, you know what I'msaying. At a certain point, we
just got to let it go.Interesting insight, I'll give you guys that,

(13:48):
But I don't look at it asmuch more than just differences in styles,
differences in expectation, and differences instandard that's all. Don't think it
was as spicy as everyone made itout to be. And while I'm ranting,
allow me to rant about the TrailingBurkes hype because this is just it's

(14:15):
nuts. It is absolutely nuts. And listen, I'm a fan of Trailing
Burks in the sense that he wasmy favorite wide receiver in his draft class.
Want to see the guy do well. He's flashed some elite potential.
I know there are questions about hisability to stay healthy. I get it.

(14:35):
You know. It's a first roundpick, and not just any first
round pick, though a first roundpick selected in the shadow in the echo
of the aj Brown trade. Theexpectations were always going to be lofty with
him. Every summer, it seemslike the hype train fires back up for
Trailing Burks and every year, there'sa little more coal on the fire,

(15:00):
a train's moving a little bit faster. And that's where we're at now.
And you know, I guess youknow you can cast your stones at me.
Guilty is charged. I did goon football and other f words last
week and say, hey, maybeBrian Callahan is so excited about Traylon Burks
because he's looking at Burke's in hisskill set and thinking, man, this

(15:22):
is my debo, Samuel in thisoffense, the decoy guy that you can
move around the formation, that youcan do a bunch of different things with,
you can motion him, put himin the backfield. I don't know.
I was just spitballing because we weretrying to theorize reasons as to why
Brian Callahan would light up so muchwhen talking about Traylon Burks. Now you

(15:46):
have Calvin Ridley calling him Julio Jonesand AJ Brown and those guys, and
I don't know if this is justlike someone in the building was like,
you know what, to build thisguy's confidence up. We need to at
every chance we get and make himfeel like he's the most special boy in

(16:07):
the whole wide world. But let'slike calm down a little bit. Okay,
he's gonna be the fourth wide receiverin this offense, and maybe the
fifth, maybe the fifth, dependingon how they really feel about Jawan Jackson,
DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, TylerBoyd. Are you gonna be your

(16:29):
top three? I'd be willing tobet money. And then you've got Traylon
Burks, Jawan Jackson, Nick Westbrookakineand for some reason, you know,
there's still people that are taking thetalent that Traylon Burks has and projecting it
even though we haven't really seen itconsistently on the field, like two NFL

(16:55):
seasons. Now, that's a goodsample size. It's time to make the
lead, Buddy, and I getthe optimism a new offense. They're gonna
throw the ball a lot, They'regonna move Trailing Burks around, and maybe
with the attention on all these otherreceivers, he'll flourish. He'll be just
fine. But I don't know that. I buy that. I hope that's

(17:17):
the case. But to see peopleflocking to Trailing Burks the media after after
OTAs, I'm like, hey man, this thing's getting a little out of
control. And maybe the Titans aren'tdoing themselves any favors by constantly pumping him
up every chance they get. ButI don't know. I would, you

(17:40):
know, I would say, hey, let's let's calm down, let's tamper
expectations a little bit. I'm hopingfor the best with trailing Burks like all
of you guys. But I'm sorry, I'm not gonna fall for the preseason,
the summertime hype again. You gottado it on the field first.
Is he capable of doing it?Yes, sure, but you got to

(18:02):
do it on the field first. And he hasn't done it on the field
yet. So why are we alllooking around at each other? I was
just gonna say something real vulgar.Let me rephrase it in my head.
What are we all sitting here lookingat each other at the circle jerk for?
I don't know. Somebody answered methat. I think the summer is

(18:27):
going to be an awesome summer ifyou're a fan of the Tennessee Titans.
I think we're gonna get a boatloadof Calvin Ridley camp highlights. I think
Will Levis is gonna look great incamp. I think we're gonna see some
wild stuff from to Andre Sweat oncehe's healthy. Once he's back, whatever's

(18:48):
up with him. I think it'sgonna be awesome, and I think there
are some really intriguing camp battles, like some legit spot on the line kind
of camp battles right side of theline. You get it's a crowded room.
Nicholas pett Frere, Jalen Duncan.Whenever they get back. John Ajukwu

(19:08):
has been out there practicing. LeroyWatson, you got in the interior,
Dylan Raidens. They might have toplay Dylan Raidens out at right tackle.
I know they've said he's a guard, but shit, your right tackles ain't
playing right now. Sadiq Charles ColeSpencer on the left side. Maybe he

(19:33):
can play the right side like anyIt feels like everything's on the table right
now for this group. They've gotthe left side lockdown JC Latham, Peter
Skeronsky, Lloyd Cushionberry, no doubtabout that. But those two right spots
are gonna be a lot of funto watch because I think there's there's probably
three guys at each position that couldplay, maybe more if we get to

(19:56):
the season and it's like Leroy Watsonand right guard and John Adjukuu right tackle.
It's just something we didn't see coming. That's how many bodies are involved
in this battle, though, notsaying I think that's gonna happen, but
it could be anything. I thinkthe running back battle is going to be

(20:17):
pretty intense. I think Tony Pollardand ty J. Spears have roster spots
obviously locked down, but that thirdspot, man, there is some competition.
Julius Chestnut a preseason favorite. Ilike Dylan Johnson myself, the UDFA
out of Washington. He's featured inthis week's film Friday up on Stacking the

(20:38):
Inbox dot Com. You have JabariSmall. I'm not that high on Small.
If it wasn't such a crowded fieldfor that third spot, I think
he'd be an intriguing option. Andthen you still have a San Haskins and
they brought in another undrafted free agentfrom Boston College I can't remember, but

(21:00):
I think you got four guys thatare going to be competing for that spot
and it's going to be a lotof fun to see how that one pans
out. The wide receiver battle,I think is going to be pretty boring
this year. As a matter offact, because I think the six guys
I mentioned early earlier are pretty clearlythe top options, and if you keep

(21:22):
a seventh, with Colton Dalla startingthe season on the pup list, getting
a seventh, maybe Kyle Phillips,I don't know. I kind of feel
like they're just gonna roll with six. As far as high stakes battle,
like the right side of the offensiveline, I think that middle linebacker spot

(21:44):
is going to be fascinating to watch. You'd have the incumbent Jack Gibbons,
doctor Gibbee, who they re signed. I mean clearly RAN see something in
him like stability, like he's playedat a starter caliber level for this team
before. Maybe he can do itagain. Maybe he's insurance there. But

(22:07):
the drafting of Cedric Gray, thepressure that that guy faces to win that
job, I think is pretty intriguing. I think James Williams is intriguing.
Otis Reese still still on the roster, showed some promise down the stretch there.
And then the undrafted free agent outof Kansas State, Khalid Duke.

(22:29):
You know, I don't know whatthey're going to do with him, because
I liked his tape as an edgerusher in twenty twenty three. But when
I flipped on his game against Texasin twenty twenty two where he was playing
linebacker, that was when I kindof like sat back in my chair a
little bit, like, Okay, they might have something here. What are

(22:53):
they gonna do with this kid? They need depth at both positions, and
I think you obviously hope that hecan develop into a contributing pass rusher,
but I wouldn't be surprised if hegets some reps at linebacker this summer.
Trying to get some updates on himwith Zach. I don't know if you
guys watched Stacking the Inbox with ashow his opinion on the undrafted class,

(23:17):
but like asking guys at practice, hey you got an update on Khalid Duke.
Not a lot of people paying attentionto Khalid Duke, but we demand
answers, folks, We demand answers. Could be a fun little pass rush
project, but I think he couldbe a sneaky contributing factor at linebacker as

(23:37):
well. I don't think the otherstarting safety is on the roster at this
point, but I think they dohave some interesting depth there. Dark horses
being Keaton Ellis, the undrafted freeagent out of Penn State. Really good
straight line athlete, really good willing, aggressive player, the dog mentality that
we've heard so much about. Butit struck me as kind of a struggle

(24:03):
to diagnose angles in coverage and positioningand the change of direction stuff. It
just felt like he was a tickbehind in a lot of those situations.
So be curious to see how theyuse him, how he factors into the
mix. With Elijah Molden with ohcrap, I'm drawing a blank now on

(24:26):
the undrafted safety from last year that'shanging around and anyway, I think gave
Judy Lawy could be in the mixas well. Really tough guy. You
see a theme a thread through theseguys, hard players gave Judy Lalli's that
guy also wrote about him unstacking theInbox dot Com this week. But I

(24:48):
wouldn't be surprised to see him moveto safety because he can cover a lot
of ground. He's a hard runner, he's smart in his positioning. He's
scrappy at the point of the catch, but I think you do. I
see athletic limitations when he's in oneon one press man situations, when he
can play off. I think hecan hold his own with guys, But
in those situations where he is askedto be physical and play up at the

(25:11):
line, which is something we expectthese Titans defensive backs to be able to
do. I think that's where yousee some of his limitations. So I'm
like, hey, can you kickthis guy over to safety? And he
can be a dog there. SoI'm interested to see how that all plays
out. But those are kind ofmy summertime storylines to watch as we approach

(25:38):
OTAs in training camp inches ever socloser, I'm gonna hit pause because I've
got an interview to prep for forone of the offseason content episodes. I'm
gonna hit pause, and then whenI get back, we're gonna get into
the listener questions that were submitted thisweek. So hang tight and we'll be
right back. All right, weare back, and now that that episode

(26:10):
is in the can actually got itready in two weeks, you guys will
get to know James Foster a littlebit. Just had a great conversation with
him about how he got into thegame, some of the stuff that he's
done, and even asked him aboutthe twenty twenty five draft already starting on
it, folks, Nevertheless, wegot a show to wrap up over here,

(26:33):
and that is what I am backto do answering some listener questions.
So I had a couple of interestingnames pop up in the Sobers mail bag
this week. Leugerious Need asked CalebFarley comeback season, and Easton actually asked

(26:56):
a question about Caleb Farley too.So you know what, I'm gonna hold
off on the Farley question, Ijust jotted his name down. Will asked
is Kierras Jackson a dark horse tomake the roster? I don't think so.
And Kiris Jackson I thought was apretty intriguing guy as an undrafted free
agent option last year. But therewas opportunity to be had last year because

(27:23):
the wide receiving room was DeAndre Hopkinshopefully trailing Burke's and then everybody else,
so plenty of spots to go outthere and win. Kierris Jackson's tape from
Georgia I went back and watched andthought, man, this could be a
guy they could use in a fun, little gadgety kind of role that maybe

(27:45):
could see the field, has thetalent to play at the NFL level,
maybe you know, adds value asa return man. Maybe he can do
something, but injuries obviously prevented thathe couldn't stay healthy, he couldn't get
onto the field, and then theyoverhaul the position completely this offseason. They

(28:07):
get Calvin Ridley, they get TylerBoyd, they draft Jakwan Jackson, and
suddenly, man, it's it's lookingrough for those not just Jackson, but
those undrafted free agents from a yearago that are kind of on the outside
looking in. When you think aboutguys like Jackson and Treyshawn Harrison and Mason

(28:29):
Kinsey, they kind of feel likethat's the odd group out at this point.
So I don't know that we'll everreally know what Kiris Jackson could have
become here. Obviously, it lookslike it's a crowded receiver room, and
I just don't think that he's goingto have the level of play this summer

(28:52):
that is just going to go outthere and command one of those spots,
because it feels to me like thewide receiver group is pretty locked up between
DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley, TylerBoyd, Nick Westbrook, Akinne, Treylon
Burkes, and Jakwan Jackson. Ithink those are pretty clearly your six and
if you're keeping a seventh, youknow, you look at a guy like

(29:12):
Kyle Phillips and then what I mean, do we think Kierris Jackson is gonna
overtake Kyle Phillips. I don't,so I think it's a numbers game for
him. Let's get back to CalebFarley, all right, because Lagerious need
asked me about him. Easton says, will the Titans regret declining Caleb Farley's

(29:34):
fifth year option by December or willit be earlier than that. I'm here
for the Caleb Farley comeback. That'sa great joke. Easton, I'm not.
I'm not trivializing that it's good material. I read that question and I
got a good chuckle. But toseriously talk about Caleb Farley, by all

(29:55):
accounts, he's a good kid.He's a great dude, been through a
lot, made and been through alot, and he has the talent to
play in the NFL. That's thething. It's like, maybe it just
if you're optimistic, maybe you hopethat it was just a bad fit with
the Shane Bowen Mike Rabel defense,Maybe it's just a bad fit. And
if you can simplify things, forhim, maybe things pan out, Maybe

(30:19):
you still have something there people havetalked about maybe he could move the safety.
I don't know. I still youknow, the injuries are an issue,
but I still think maybe there's sometalent there that you could work with.
So you know what I think I'mgonna I'm gonna commit to the bit

(30:41):
with you Easton. It'll be beforeDecember. By the end of September,
the Titans will be kicking themselves thatthey declined that fifth year option. The
general asks us, Let's see where'dthe question go With all of the offseason
moves the team has made, doesthat shorten the grace period for expectations in

(31:02):
Callahan and Levis? You know,I will say that I would have answered
differently in January than I'm going toanswer now, because I would have thought
from the jump this regime, thisstaff is going to get ample time to

(31:22):
sort this whole thing out and expectationsbeing set, this is gonna be a
rebuild and it's gonna take three years. Don't expect anything in year one.
But I am falling victim to thehype machine unabashedly so like that this this

(31:44):
offseason has been great for the Titans. It's hard for me not to get
excited about this draft class, aboutthe free agent additions, about the coaching
staff changing. The vibes are immaculatein the Bill. According to Chiga konk,
Will you hear this stuff week inand week out, and you see

(32:07):
stuff like Brian Callahan on busting withthe boys when they ask him about the
Super Bowl, and he's very quickto dismiss the expectations. But he's got
to look in his eye and he'sgot a smirk and he says, I
like what we have. Like, dude, I like what you got going
to I think Will Levis is theguy. I think he got some pieces

(32:29):
around him. I think the theskill positions could end up being some of
the best, if not the best, that the Titans have ever had.
Can you figure the right side ofthe offensive line out? Because if you
can, you got you got anoffense that's gonna be humming by the middle
of this season. And so partof me does wonder the general to get

(32:53):
to your question, part of medoes wonder if te me Adam Strunk is
seeing this and maybe she's feeling reallygood. Maybe Ran Karthon is feeling really
good. Right now, and sodoes that sort of unconsciously, subconsciously elevate

(33:15):
a level of expectation, And maybeyou get to a point where it's the
middle of the season and it's like, oh, man, I really thought
we were going to be somewhere, and you're remembering this period where everybody's on
cloud nine, everybody's optimistic, andyou're not remembering the conversations you had in
January where it was a three yearplan and it's going to take some time

(33:35):
and the roster's far away. Howdoes that impact the decision making? I
don't. I don't think ultimately it'sgoing to shorten the grace period. I
don't because I think you set thoseexpectations, you're clear in your communication,
you hold to them. There's accountability, and that's that. But when you

(34:00):
raise this question to me the general, I think about my own feelings and
how they've changed. And I wentfrom saying this team's going to be ass
in twenty twenty four to now I'mlooking at the roster, I'm looking at
the coaching staff. I'm hearing RanCarthon in interviews and Brian Callahan and interviews,

(34:22):
and I'm like, man, thisteam is going to surprise some people.
And so because I feel like that, I know that when we get
to the end of September and theTitans are like h to four, I'm
going to be like, oh man, the stinks. So I think it's
a real thing. I think it'sa valid question. Interesting Maddox asks.

(34:45):
Shout out to Maddox, just sawa post that said the Titans will be
underdogs in every game this season exceptagainst the Patriots. How are we feeling
about that? Sounds like there's somemoney to be made. I agree,
Maddox. I think there is goingto be some money to be because I
do still think this Titans team isgoing to be a lot better than people

(35:07):
are giving them credit for right now, and nationally, nobody really seems to
be Nobody really seems to be pluggedinto what the Titans have done this offseason,
except for Peter Schraeger went on GoodMorning Football and said, watch out
for the Seahawks in the NFC andthe Titans in the AFC. But other
than that, it's been a lotof doom and gloom. You know,

(35:29):
a lot of people aren't even watchingthe Titans, and it's a parent in
their analysis. People calling will levisthe worst starting quarterback in the NFL.
People already ranking JJ McCarthy ahead ofhim. I mean, come on,
ranking bo Nicks ahead of him. What are we doing here, guys?
They just say, you didn't watchthe Titans. And so I think this

(35:51):
is where the sports books can capitalizeon that because they know they're gonna set
these numbers and National Better are goingto spend boatloads of money betting against the
Titans. And you know what,it's gonna be halfway through the season before
the casual betters start to figure itout. Curious what the sharp money is

(36:15):
doing with the Titans right now,be interested to know that. But I
generally agree. I think the Titansare I think you can make some money
betting this Titans team this season.Well that's it. That's all I got
for this week's episode. You willhear from me if something major happens,

(36:36):
like you know, the year theytraded for Julio Jones in the middle of
June, I hopped on and didlike an emergency pod. Unless something like
that happens, you ain't gonna hearme for the next six weeks. Offseason
content is firing up next week.Owen and I are gonna talk about the
Titans and Jags rivalry. Fun littlepod we did, and then the week

(37:00):
after that, as I mentioned before, you're gonna get to know James Foster
a little bit, a little bitof what makes him tick, what got
him to the point that he's attoday at No Flags Film on Twitter,
a to Z Sports Film Room onYouTube. It was a really fun conversation.
Can't wait for you guys to hearit. And then I've got some

(37:21):
more fun stuff planned with some specialguests, and then we'll be back to
talk training camp in July. SoI'm gonna tip my cap to you guys.
