Let's take a summertime trip to the Jersey Shore and GTL. Of course we mean ghosts, terror, and lore! We're headed to Cap May, New Jersey to talk about urban legends from this popular beach destination. It has a lot of history and quite a few ghost people and animals that are still roaming the beaches.

posted about it. They were, they were waiting for it. Anybody who's
watching any video content from this episode, we'll see that Metra is sporting a
lovely new shirt from Spirit Halloween witha devil cat on it. Our demon

(03:15):
cat? Is it a demon? It's luciper. I just got it because
it looks like my cat. ShefuIt's great. That's a black cat.
Also, you're a sucker for anythingwith a black cat on it anyway,
So yeah, I mean, let'snot got a black cat on it.
I'm getting it and I'm wearing ityear round, So that's how it goes.
That's right anyway, guys. Socheck out your local Spirit Halloween because

(03:38):
it is open, and if youwant to buy your costume, and it's
exactly the same as get the stuffthat's left over from last year, because
that's all they got out right nowuntil the new stuff starts coming in.
Anyway. True, that's what itwas at mine. I was like,
Oh, it's the same as lastyear. Yeah, is it too or
even have they even don't have thesizes of shirts that they didn't have year

(04:00):
that I was looking for. It'severything that was in the back right,
you know. I don't know isit too early for them to be open?
Should they wait a little bit longer? I don't know. I think
that stores like you think so becauseyou get ideas of what you want to
be your dress up for and also, like, you know, just by
decore for year round, who cares? I was gonna say, like I

(04:20):
I would love a store like thisall year round. That's just Halloween themes
that has fun like it's like thedecoration type things. I mean, obviously
you don't need costumes like that allthe time unless you're doing like cosplay,
but really cosplayers don't like to wearcostumes like that. But I mean you
like to decorate like that. It'slike fun, little weird commercialized oddities.

(04:44):
I guess, yeah, you knowwhat I mean. Yeah, it's fun.
Get your little knick knacks and yourlittle collectibles and fun coffee mugs and
things of that nature. You're you'reyou're your purse that you use that's from
Spirit Halloween. I get tons ofcompliments in it. I use that purse
year round. Actually it's right herein the video of when you get the
compliments, you go, oh thisold firmly. No, I just say

(05:08):
thank you, and I don't seemsprobably yeah, I'm like, yeah,
I'm a weirdo. It's like aHalloween person. I was wearing a super
Mario shirt yesterday and I was atmy mall and a guy stopped me and
said I really like that shirt. And I was like, thank you,
and then I just kept going andI was so awkward. Right, it's

(05:30):
so awkward when someone compliments you onlike something. I mean, maybe other
people are just like, oh,thanks, you know. I mean I
am like, oh, thank you, But it's always like so awkward because
I never, like, I'll seesomething someone's wearing. I'll think, oh,
that's cute, but I never likehave the urge to like tell that
person, don't you know what Imean, Yeah, maybe that's just a
nice thing, because it's like maybeit brightens their day and maybe I should,

(05:51):
But it never strikes me because Idon't want to be a weirdo of
me and like just sure ever andI'm like, yeah, I was at
Walmer. It's five ninety nine.I remember it was. I was wearing
one of my Philadelphia Eagle shirts onetime and this guy came up to me
at the store and unzipped his hoodedsweatshirt that he was wearing and pulled it

(06:11):
open and was also wearing an Eagleshirt and he looked me dead in the
eyes and goes, we will wintonight, and I was like, cool,
go team. Literally why I stoppedwearing Texas A and M gear because
I graduated from Texas A and MUniversity and you get talked by people,

(06:35):
especially old men, when you wearthat kind of thing on, and it's
like I got to the point whereI'm like, I can't wear this anymore.
I can't wear the shirt, sweatshirts, hat, I can't wear anything
because I'm tired of old men talkingto me about the goddamn football team and
I don't give a shit. Isthat is that? Like they're coming up
to you and they're just like, wow, the boys played pretty well last
week, and you're just like,I have no idea what you're talking about,

(06:57):
sir. To the point where likeif I was leaving the house during
football season, I'd be like, let me check the score real quick,
like who wons? Just so Ihave something to say, Yeah, when
I get stuck, I mean,I'm just like, you know what,
I don't want to wear it anymore. That is the way that it is.
So, I mean, I've beento several New York Yankees games and
uh, you know it's not yeahscore of whatever game happened exactly like the

(07:21):
So the city is not far fromme. I've driven down, I've hopped
on a train down, I've goneto games and everything like that. And
if you're walking around New York afterthe Yankees play, people will stop you.
They'll ask about the game. They'llask about your experience at the game,
they'll ask if they won, likeand it will just be random.
So you better know your stuff becauseit will happen. Well, it's so

(07:44):
funny because I would wear Spurs stuffand nobody will ever stop me and say
anything about the spurs of the gameor anything, because it's literally like it's
almost like everybody knows you're watching thegame, so they don't have to make
a comment about it. But Idon't live in College Station, so somebody
who sees another Aggie out in thewild. They're gonna be like talking to

(08:05):
you about it, you know whatI mean. Whereas here we are,
we're in San Antonio, the Spursare playing. Everybody's like it's almost like,
yeah, we know, you know. I saw two people walking around
Albany just the other day in Texas, name them gear. The Aggies are
everywhere they are, they are,So this one's sitting in front of my
face right now, I know.Yeah. So I don't know why the

(08:26):
hell I went to that school becausenot using anything there, I didn't want
to go there. Well, allright, well that's another story. That's
a story, a story for anothertime. Right as they was saying Star
Wars, all right, so whatis tonight's episode? What are we talking
about? Urban Legends which everybody loves, and we are going to Cape May,

(08:52):
New Jersey. And the reason whyis random place. Never heard of
it? Because I love and Texas. I don't know anything. I'm not
familiar with the East Coast. Okay, so I got this this old book
called Cape May Ghost Stories from thebookstore, used bookstore. My son has
guitar lessons. Right next door isa used booksforce every to me as a

(09:13):
lesson. I'm going over there andI'm spending money on ghost books. You
have gotten a lot though I know, I'm like, man, your lessons,
I'm telling my son, your lessonsare like drained in my bank.
With these books over here, Ifeel like tell myself not to go over
there. But like they have likea paranormal section. So I'm looking at

(09:33):
like books that I've never seen before, you know. And also I like
to look at hit the history book, especially like Texas or San Antonio history.
So I've gotten a lot of that, which has actually been very helpful
because there are some things I've beenwanting to know and I can't find any
information online about it, and Ihave found them in the books, so
it's been very helpful. Well.So anyway, happy, I'm happy that

(09:54):
your hobby is now Yeah, right, So anyways, this book Make Ghost
Stories by Dave ja Siebold and CharlesJay Adams, the third. It was
published in nineteen eighty eight. Idon't know if it's still in print.
I don't think that it is.And like I said, I'm not familiar
with the East Coast and I hadnever heard of Cape May, but I
like ghost stories and so Cape Mayis part of the infamous Jersey Shore.

(10:20):
It's known for having many beautiful Victorianhouses. Several are like bed and breakfasts
in hotels, that kind of thing. The only place in the US with
more Victorian homes is San Francisco,so this place has a lot. So
after reading this book and looking atsome info online, it's like every one
of these Victorian houses is haunted, and it's like your basic content house stuff.

(10:43):
So I didn't want to talk aboutthat because one, I couldn't really
find a lot of detailed of whoor why is haunting a lot of these
properties. So I was like, you know what, I'm not I'm not
going to do that because it's likebasic stuff like I saw shadow of door
close and things like that. Youknow, it's like basic content stuff.
I was like, let's let's dosomething a little bit more interesting, So
we're going to talk about haunted beaches. Oh okay. What's nice about a

(11:09):
haunted beaches is you can go therefor free, So anyone can go over
there. You don't have to staythere, you don't have to book a
room, you don't have to doa ghost story. You can just go
there for free, like a parkor a cemetery and have like a little
spooky at or a playground, likeour friend Annika told us all about last
week. That's right, right, that's right. Well, I mean the
beach is kind of like a playground, it is. Yeah. The first

(11:31):
place on the beach at kate MayPoint, there's this huge out of place
military bunker called Battery two twenty three. It sits basically right on top of
the beach. It was built duringWorld War Two in nineteen forty three,
so it was originally nine hundred feetback from the water, but due to
the beach erosion, it's now likeliterally like on the beach in the water,

(11:54):
sort of like you know, dependingon the tide, I guess.
And it's just like this huge, ugly complex with twenty rooms. There's there
was other structures and towers, andI believe some of the structures are still
there, and I believe only oneof the towers still remains, if that's
what I am from my understanding. The actual bucker is sealed off, so

(12:15):
you can't go inside it, butI believe you can go into the one
tower and look out through like sometelescopes and stuff like that. So it
was built basically to protect cargo shipswith wartime supplies from like German ships or
U boats. So they thought likethe German ships might actually come this far
over there, you know, whichthey never did. But there's an urban

(12:41):
legend that they did spot in oneGerman U boat. But again this is
like an urban legend. They neverfired anything from this bunker. I don't
know what to call it a bunker, and I don't know the difference between
a bunker or whatever, but literally, I mean this is like it was
a It's a huge structure. It'snot like a bunker to me, bunker
seems something small. This is likethis im posy, like I don't know,

(13:03):
apocalyptal looking thing like on the beach. It's really strange. So two
thousand soldiers were stationed in this complexarea. Yeah, and like I said,
completely sealed off, so you can'tgo inside of it, but you
can walk all around it, andthere are plaques on there giving information about

(13:24):
the monker and everything. There apparentlyare there is a deck and there are
stairs, and I am unclear fromthe stuff that I read if you can
actually go up onto the stairs orif maybe you're not, and people just
do I'm not really sure. Also, the roof of this place, it's
like been taken over by mother natureand it's like got greenery and grass and

(13:48):
stuff all growing on it. Soit's really like it's like the apocalypse.
It's like something in the coming outof the ocean, like the apocalypse.
It's really weird. It sounds alot like the place that we went to
Fort Tabor, Remember we were inOkay, we want to work Taber.
It sounds an awful lot like whatyou're describing, but like bigger and I
don't know, well, I don'tknow, graffiti all over it like that

(14:09):
place I went to our old friendthe Internet and the the Oxford Dictionary definition
of a bunker is a large containeror compartment for storing fuel or a reinforced
underground shelter. So well, thisis an underground although I don't know if

(14:31):
something is built underground. Now,again, this wasn't its official name was
a bunker. They call it theCape May Bunker. Yeah, but it
was called like battery two twenty threeis what it was, like, I
guess referred to are called. SoI don't know. The name bunker was
just the nickname that people have givenit. So anyways, many reports of
shadow figures walking around the outside ofthe bunker and the decking, so it

(14:56):
appears that like the soldiers that werestationed there are like still they're manning it
and watching it. Sometimes they're seeingsmoking, which is like weird is so
in this So in this book KateBy ghost Stories, they there is a
there's a claim that this couple goesfor a walk on the beach and as

(15:16):
the sun is going down, soit's getting kind of dark, they hear
men talking, but they can't reallymake out any words. But they can
hear this really like loud conversation.A few words jump out, but they
can't really make out anything that's that'sgoing on. So they look at the
bunker and they see what appears tobe this group of men on the deck.
And the husband was kind of likelike, you know, like why

(15:39):
are these guys here? He thoughtthey were just like you know, like
up to no good, and hewas just like being protective his wife.
So he's like keeping an eye onthem, like watching them, like,
you know, making sure they're notgoing to do anything. So they sit
down on the beach. Yeah,so they sit down on the beach and
they're just like sitting there and watchingthe waves, and all of a sudden,
you know, they're hearing this loud, lively conversation and all of a
sudden, it just goes completely silent, just completely, and they both get

(16:03):
nervous, like why did that gosilent? And they look over to the
bunker and those people are gone. They get up and go walk all around
the bunker looking around nothing. Nothing'sthere. It's just completely gone. And
it's like, where did they go? Because they were up on the deck.
They would have to come down. It's a large structure. You're gonna
have seen them. Where did theygo? How did they like, why
did it just stop suddenly? Everybodyjust vanished. Yes, they were like

(16:27):
pretty freaked out. They left becausethey got super spooky. And there's a
lot of stories like that around thebunker of hearing men talking, seeing shadows,
seeing people smoking up there and thenjust disappearing. They're saying that they're
they're like seeing people like actually upthere, like smoking a cigarette, Like
that's what they're that's what people areseeing. I don't know, because like

(16:48):
I don't know how far away peopleare if they're seeing like you know,
when it's someone's far away and yousee movement and you see smoke or something.
So I don't know how much ofa visual people are, especially this
couple, because they said it waswhen the sun was going down, so
it was already like you know, twilight time, it's like getting dark,
you know, and how much theycould really see? And to me,
I'm like, well, could ithave really been people Like yeah, right,

(17:11):
Like you could have been somebody actuallystanding up there smoking. It's it's
people can get So I think itwould be a cool place to go to
though, to visit, to getlike pictures and take video. Now,
not like for e VP or anythinglike that. Because it's a beach,
it's windy, your voices will carryso you could hear the conversation probably from
far away. So but I thinkit'd be cool to like take pictures.

(17:33):
There were some people that had pictures. One person had a picture of an
orb but we know always think aboutthose. But it was a very odd
picture. I would have to admit, they're on the beach, the beaches
behind her, there's the bunker, and then there's this weird, big huge
circle in the corner. It didlook odd. There was no other orbs.
But you know who knows what thosethings are. I know it's hard

(17:56):
with the orbs, like it's hardto take the space in the photos of
the videos. But you know, you know, Metra nostalgia is a big
seller these days. Who doesn't lovea walk down memory lane. You know,
I've basically been listening to the sameexact music since I was in high
school. That really doesn't shock me. While some of us can't let go
of the past, it is timeto let go of some of those things,

(18:17):
yeah, like rap rock. Neverknow what I'm talking about is I
know that some of you are usingthe same soap and deuterant that you have
been using since high school. It'stime to ditch that and get yourself some
of the black Stuff. The blackStuff is natural, handmade soap that uses
only natural ingredients, no artificial fragrances. The black Stuff uses their own unique

(18:37):
blend of essential oils that includes anew scent for the summer sligo surfing.
It comes in either a nice, smooth finish or a rough finish, so
you can really help scrub and exfoliate. After all, no one wants to

(19:02):
solving paranormal mysteries and helping the worldsmell better. Visit them online now at
the blackstuff dot com and tell thembj Metris saying you, well, I
guess so, we don't really haveany information. There's no information of anyone
who had died there, and theamount of people that you know are having
this conversation, all those people probablydidn't die there. There was no battle,

(19:22):
there was nothing there, So thismost likely would if it is a
haunting, would be a residual haunting. Yea. And what's interesting is this
book made reference to the stone tapetheory, but they never said stone tape
theory. And they instead of theidea of it being something like limestone or

(19:42):
something capturing this residual energy, theysaid rust would do it. And I
have never heard that before that rustwould be something that would like hardest like
people's energy and then somebody comes byand hits the play button and plays it.
But they said that was one ofthe things that could like basically hold

(20:04):
energy was rust And I was like, hmm, and I went online to
go check, and nobody has mentionedrust with paranormal investigation. So I don't
know if in nineteen eighty eight that'swhat they believed and now we don't believe
that now. But it's interesting somethingnew. A lot of old haunted places
are also rusty. This place lookslike some old rusty place, so who

(20:26):
knows. And it's in the water. It's in saltwater, so it's gonna
have some rust. Yes. SoI just thought that was pretty interesting that
they would mention that theory. Yea, so along the same stretch of beach
you may encounter a large black ghostdog. Okay, so again the ghost

(20:48):
dog, I know, right. So in this book again the authors made
reference to Stephen kring story about aghost dog on the Jersey shore. So
Stephen Kring is best known for hisbook The Red Badge of Courage, which
is a historical fiction during the CivilWar. He wrote. He wrote that
when he was twenty two years old, which is like insane to me.

(21:11):
He also died in nineteen you know, I know he also he died in
nineteen hundred at only twenty eight,so he had like multiple Yeah, he
had multiple pulmonary hemorrhages that eventually justtook his life. So side now his
house in Ashbury Park also haunted.Just as a little note, So Crane

(21:34):
wrote a few of these like ghoststories. He wrote for like newspapers.
He was also a journalist and hewrote like these ghost stories. One of
the stories takes place on the Jerseyshore. So the story goes like this.
Now, I tried to find thisonline and I could not find any
story about this dog and this shipwreck, so I don't know where it comes

(21:56):
from, but it's supposedly written byhim. So anyways, and the story,
there's a shipwreck near the shore. The crew all die and they washed
up on shore, but the dogthat was on the ship with them survived
and swam to shore. The menfrom the town they saw the shipwreck,
they went over there. They weresalvage Jersey. They salvaged what they can

(22:17):
to sell and to relieve the deadman of all their personal belongings, right,
because that's what people did. Whilethe dog, being the loyal to
the crew, you know, stoodhis ground and growled and lunged at anyone
who tried to get near the bodiesso one of the salvaging men grabbed an
axe and hit the dog in thehead, killing him instantly. So this

(22:41):
dog's ghost now roams the Jersey shoreand it has this axe wound with like
blood and like glowing red eyes.So kind of creepy. So now the
story that was told in the book, now this story, Like I said,
I couldn't find any reference to thisdog story being written. And if

(23:03):
he wrote this, you know itwas a fictional story because that's what he
wrote fiction. But he also wrotehistorical fiction. So I'll get back to
that. You say all the timeabout urban legends, there's always like something
that starts it, you know.Well, I just wonder because maybe he
himself had heard the story of aghost dog and just gave the ghost dog
a backstory of a reason why thereis this ghost dog. So there is

(23:27):
some truth there's the ghost dog.You don't know why. But then he
made the story up about it's likeyou know, beginnings or whatever will come
from. Yeah, very similar toWashington Irving and the Headless Verse. Exactly,
that's right, exactly. So anyways, it's I kind of like because

(23:48):
he read he wrote the Red Badgeof Courage and that's historical fiction. It's
a real thing that happened in theCivil War, but the characters are fictional,
and it's kind of like Titanic.Titanic is a real event that happened.
There's a movie Titanic. Rose andJack are not real, but that's
a real event, you know.So that's how he wrote. So and
he wrote you know, he wasa journalist too, and he wrote on
like real battles that were happening andthings as well. So anyways, so

(24:12):
maybe the ghost dog is real, but nobody knows why he's really there.
So in nineteen eighty, according tothis book, the authors of this book,
a woman recalls seeing a dog suddenlyjust casually walking out of the ocean.
Now she had been there sitting atthe beach looking out at the water.
You know how people do. You'rejust staring, you're meditating, doing

(24:33):
whatever. From this dog just comesand just la la la, casually just
walks out of the ocean. Yeah. Now, what do you think a
dog does when it's wet. What'sthe first thing it does when it's wet.
Oh, it shakes itself off immediately, it shakes, right, So
this dog did not shake, andit struck her as very odd that this
dog just won walked right out ofthe ocean and she had been staring at

(24:55):
it. She never saw a doggo in the ocean, and there's nobody
else around, and this dog justwalks out of the ocean and doesn't shake,
and she got spooked by this, like, uh, something's not right.
She just had the feeling like something'snot right. The dog looks towards
her and starts walking towards her,and she's like, yeah, I'm gonna
leave now. So she turns aroundand starts walking, but she's feeling really

(25:17):
uneasy, so she keeps turning aroundand looking, and she sees the dog
every time she turns around. Thereso the dog the last time she turns
around, the dog's gone. It'sjust vanished, and she has no explanation
of what just happened. Wow,don't a lot of like sightings of just
the random dog just up and down. But again, I mean dogs go
to the beach with their owners,so who knows. But this dog is

(25:41):
very strange. Just that's strange tohave the dog just come out of the
waters like that. That seems veryodd, not something that you see all
the time. So taking note ofsomething like that is a pretty important thing.
Yeah. Yeah, I think thatwould be really weird to see a
dog come out of the ocean.I think that's weird too. Poor dog.
He's been lots to see. He'sbeen swimming, he's exhausted. He's
like, I see somebody, andthis woman freaks out. God, really

(26:04):
he just collapsed and died. Yeah. Yeah, he's just like laying in
some weeds next to the beach orsomething. And she's like it was a
ghost dog. I swear, Yeah, we're damn dog. So another haunted
beach in Cape May is called HigbeeBeach. It's part of a wildlife refuge,
so it's left very natural and it'sfree to the public. The beach

(26:26):
is named after two brothers, Josephand Thomas Higbee, who owned a hotel
on the beach in eighteen twenty three. The hotel doesn't exist anymore, and
where it once stood is now aparking lot for the beach, which is
kim of sad. What do youthink about it? So Joseph Higbee died
and then shortly after his brother diedThomas in eighteen seventy nine, and Thomas,

(26:51):
I guess they didn't have any otherfamily members or children, or get
married or anything. Thomas left everythingto an eighteen year old girl, whom
he virtuo has his niece, butshe wasn't his niece. Her name was
Edda Gregory, and he stated inhis will that he be buried on the
beach next to the hotel. Hisgrave was to be lined with brick and
flagstone and then topped with a giantmarble slab that was etched with like,

(27:17):
you know his name and when hewas bored, and when he died and
stuff. So Eda followed those instructionsand Thomas was buried there, but only
for fifty eight years. When Eddadied, she stated in her will that
Thomas's body be dug up and buriednext to her in cold Spring cemetery,

(27:37):
but as to not piss him off, his grave should be filled with sand
from the beach. Well, thatdidn't work so well, because she did
piss him off, and now hisghost walks up and down the beach.
I guess he's unhappy that his gravegot moved. So I guess so he
really loved this beach a lot,and I don't understand why she would have

(28:03):
moved the body. It's really weird. And the first thing, because this
is where my mind goes, isthat maybe there was a little something else
going on that wasn't just don't know. This is my niece, like she
was eighteen, and maybe something goingon. Why did he leave her everything?
Yeah, it seems really I don'tknow, it seems odd. My
mind goes to a bad place, like maybe it was like an uncle niece

(28:25):
relationship. But my mind goes toa bad place because why would she be
insistent upon him being buried next toher? Yeah, that's a little odd
when you're in love with someone that'slike the thing that you want, you
know what I mean. If it'sjust like a father figure or something like
that, you're like, I don'ta man, I don't know, So
it seems a little weird. Solots of stories about this, they call

(28:48):
them old Man Higbee like haunting, because that's right, because a lot of
people have seen this old man onthe beach and on the walking trails walking
him down. Sometimes people have saidhe the dog. But it's kind of
weird. I'm like, sometimes thedogs. Somebody doesn't have a dog,
I don't understand. So a womanwalking on the beach right before sunrise,
saw an old man standing on thebeach. She heard laughing and talking.

(29:12):
The man had a slight luminous glow. So it was still dark outside,
and he was kind of illuminating, kind of like a glow in the dark
like thing, you know what Imean, where it has like that,
just very light glow, something likethat, like a glow in the dark
figure. So he had on croppedtattered pants, shirt and a sash for
a belt. The old man beganmoving along the beach, but his legs

(29:36):
didn't move. He just kind offloated along, which she thought was like
really weird. She even like, she said, he turned to her to
look, but it was like andwe didn't see her. So that he
moves out of view or disappears orsomething. She walks down to where he

(29:59):
was is to see if there wasany footprints, because you thought it was
so weird no footprints or anything inthe sand. So then she turns around
towards the ocean and there he isagain, and he starts walking into the
water, but it's like that floatingthing, and he's just walking floating into
the water, and then he justdisappears into the Ocean's like, yeah,

(30:22):
it's so weird. So maybe ghostsghost Higby. I don't know. A
lot of people have seen like oldmen walking on the trails because it's like
a wildlife refuge and there's like hikingtrails and stuff, and they've seen like
an old man on the trail andthen they turn around and he's not there
all of a sudden. Other storiesabout Higby Beach, there's two other ghosts

(30:45):
that are said to be there, but I'm not really sure they're true.
One is an enslaved person's ghosts guardingtheir owner, which I'm pretty sure a
slave person's ghost is going to belike protecting their owner's body after death.

(31:06):
So and I looked up and Icouldn't find anything to reference it. So
I don't think that one's true.I think that's just urban legend. I
don't it seems really weird. Theother one is that it's a sailor that
people claim to see a sailor. Now I think the sailor and Higbee are
actually the same person is in mytheory because the old man is in tattered

(31:29):
clothes, and I think people arethinking that's the sailor because he has like
the Sashawan, but I and Ithink just from reading what people's accounts were,
that it's actually the same person.Ah, gotcha. Also, I
don't really know. Little known factabout like elderly men and stuff is that
they love to go on nature walksand things like that too, So you

(31:52):
could just see an old man andit could just be an old man.
That beach is unofficially a nudist beach, oh boy, so you might see
all kinds of people wearing all kindsof weird stuff. So I was reading
about it, it was like anudist beach, but it wasn't like official,

(32:13):
and they had to like take itthrough the courts or something, and
the courts said that the city ofofficials could find find you for being naked
on the beach, but they don't, and they just kind of allow things
to happen there and you can prettymuch do whatever you want there. And
all the people that do like theirnudist beach things are very respectable and they

(32:37):
will put clothes on. So ifyou're walking in their sunbathe, they're just
laying out their naked and you're walkingby, they'll turn around so that you
don't see anything or they carry extraclothes and they'll just throw something on real
quick when somebody comes by as tonot like be rude because they want to
be naked, but they also understandthat not everybody wants to see you naked,

(32:58):
you know what I mean. Yeah, so they will be they will
be respectful of other people and putclothes on, which is a nice thing,
Like you don't have to impose yourlifestyle upon other people. So I
think that's a nice thing. Soit's an unofficial nudist beach, so you
may see naked people hanging out there. If you go there, you may
think it's a ghost. People arejust seeing all kind of weird things out

(33:21):
there, because anything goes on thatbeach, so that's wild. I don't
know about a nude beach. Yeah, they kind of freaked me out just
because like, I don't want to. I'm not comfortable going to a nude
beach. Would you go to anude beach. I'm not comfortable in a
bathing suit, so let alone, let alone less than a bathing suit,
right. Yeah, Although to befair, the people at the nude beaches

(33:45):
are usually, for whatever reason, old people, I guess, because you
get to the point in your lifewhere you're like, I don't give a
fuck anymore, you know, andthey don't. They're also not in the
best shape. Yeah, so Ithink if you went there, you probably
you could feel comfortable because it's likea no judgment zme type thing, you
know what I mean. The planetfits. It's not like a bunch of

(34:07):
super models walking around going I'm naked. You're like, well, that's what
never getting undressed again, that's whateverybody wants them. They go to a
nude beach and then it's like themovie euro Trip when they go to one
and it's just a bunch of oldmen, eighty year old men with balls
down to their knees. Okay, that's what it is, that's right.
Yeah, let them hang low, gentlemen, let them hang like. I
think it's because you get old andyou're like, I don't care. Yeah,

(34:29):
like I don't care. I thinkyou're right. I think it's probably
really free to go to a nudebeach. Yeah, just to be public
naked like that. Yeah, Imean it probably is, but also like
terrifying. People have nightmares about that, like standing in front of an audience
and you can't find your We shouldtry it one time. Let's go to

(34:49):
a nude beach, just one, okay, and just try it. Let's
just see how it makes us feel. Let's be on not far from New
Jersey. We could make it happen. I want to go to kate May
This this actually looks really cool. All the like different places to go.
It's crazy how many the whole townseems like it's haunted, and it looks
really beautiful. Those beaches look likeyour stereotypical East Coast beach, which I've

(35:14):
never been to one, and I'vealways wanted to. It reminds me of
Jaws, where it's got like thefence there, you know, and it's
like the wooden fence, you know, and like the grass, and then
there's the beach, and I'm like, I want to see one of those,
like because we don't have that kindof I am super aware we are.
I've seen those many times, manymany times. Yeah. I love
it. Yeah. And then whilewe're there in New Jersey too, we

(35:36):
can go on the we can goon the sight seeing for sopranos things.
Oh god, that would be somuch fun. I do I wonder if
they do like tours for that.I know they used to, but I
wonder if they still do, Likethe bus tours to all the places.
We can go to Asbury Park wherethey filmed all the stuff when they're walking
on, like the boardwalk and stuff. Oh yeah, I want to go

(35:57):
drive by their house, the SopranoHouse where they get all the outside the
pilot episode I think was filmed actuallyin the house and then they built a
studio house when it was picked up. Yeah, but all the outside shots
are there. That would be cool. It would be cool to do that.
We'll go look for ghosts and thenwe'll go looking for our favorite Sopranos
location spots and everything. That soundsgreat. It does, it really does.

(36:22):
