across the Pond. We are going to hear about some
English folklore today. We're going to tonight we're gonna talk
about the black Shuck, the devil dog, the hell hound.

tom Tommy's heard a lot on his podcast about the
dog man and the Bigfoots and the paranormal side. And
Tommy's had experiences when he was a young young kid,
just like most of us, and has continued throughout his life,

had just put out a video on my channel called
the eight Z. I have I have come into some

private property once again. I've lost the old property which
was called Larry's if you guys were ever following what
I did a few years back, and we have now
gotten some new private property and it's hundreds of acres
and it's on the border of Massachusetts and Connecticut and
we have full access. We're gonna be able to put
camp sites in there. We are going to be able

to do whatever we want to do. We only have
to get out of there two weeks during hunting season,
and the rest of the year is ours. I've invested
in a lot of new equipment, including starlink, and we
will be going live from there. We have a lot
of new toys to try. We are going to see
if we can these guys in with the frequency and

what we've learned in the past couple of years about
the forty herds and all that. So that's what the
agec will be. You'll probably be hearing a lot more
of it as we come into the new year. My
first guests for the new year on August thirteenth will
be two of the gentlemen that were the first investigators

at the Sales property in Texas. You all know it
as the fence jumper video, the two fighting over the
tires in the driveway. They will be joining us after
thirty years of keeping everything to themselves. They were ridiculed
at first when they first came out and they continue
to go to the property and continue to continue to

continued and after thirty years, they're coming live and they're
going to talk here on the thirteenth. So we're excited
to have that show and our New Year's show next
week will be I don't know how to got a
hold on one second, I gotta pull.

We are going after a Nikon ZR to to be
able to film eight K quality videos for you all

and we will be running these new security deals out
in the field with the and you'll be able to
watch it all live on some most nights when we're
there camping, you'll be able to watch our cameras that
surround our tents and stuff like that. So we're going
to do a membership for that, and you'll be able
to tune in while we're out there camping and you'll

be able to watch while we're sleeping the area around
us to see if anything is coming in or you'll
hear anything. So that that's part of the plans too.
I'll have a big thing on my Facebook group. If
you guys aren't a big on the Facebook group yet,

We have a lot of great people in there. There
is no drama in my group. There's zero drama. Everybody

gets along there well and if they don't, they you know,
if they start trouble, then we asked them to leave,

to learn step by step what's going on with the
new year, because we are playing in here at real
American Monsters to get back at it again. It's been

few years since we've been active. We've been traveling all
over the place. We've been doing that, but we've never
had a we haven't had a habituation area in like
four years, so we're very excited. We have two documentaries
that we were filmed and are coming out this year.
The first one would be The Winsted wild Man. We
captured some amazing vocals up here in northwest Connecticut. They

were vetted by David Ellis and a few others, so
that'll be coming out. And then of course the sometime
place and that is the Cells, and we have so
much evidence from the Cells and the two guys that
you'll hear from in a couple of weeks telling their
story of what they experienced at the ranch, and not
the ranch, but the the farmhouse and what they what

happened and how they tested the monk and Sandy when
left and it's just the story is incredible and uh
you'll be all, be all. The documentary will be coming
out later this year. So that's what's on the horizon
for real American monsters. We're going full steam this year.

it all depends on how you approach it. If you
forget about it, it might disappear. But if you focus
on it, I think I think the phenomenon gets it
gets stronger, and these things know that you're you're you're
looking out for it, and that's how it progresses. So

coming in very handy. Don suffered a dog bite earlier
this summer and that he's having the problems with infection
and there's a hole in his leg that's not closing
from the dog bite, so he's he's having a rough
time and then having then he was robbed and he

had a bunch of bad lucks strung together. But he
does the money that we got to send him as
a blessing in disguise, and he thanks everybody who contributed
for sure, and all the thoughts and prayers forever just
did that was well welcomed.

Any advice for how best to deal with cryptis messing
with you on your property similar to flat rock situation.
So I guess it all depends on how you you
you uh you're looking for what if if it bothers

(17:28):
you or if you want them gone. Certain people want
them gone from the property. Certain people will will trade
with them, and they will, uh, they will deal with
them being on the property like like Angie does snow
White and others. You know, there's others that don't want
them at all, and they'll they'll they'll try everything to
get them off the property. So I guess it all

(17:50):
depends on what the situation that you're in and what
you what what you're looking to do. If it was
my property myself, I would want to keep them there
being trade with them and figure out what's going on
because you could learn so much. I learned so much
in six years of just the ones that we dealt with,
And now we have verification with those vocals that we

caught that the three of them were there. Like we
thought the three prints that we thought we saw, we
caught three vocals in August that are three separate vocals,
which are incredible. We never we never gave them enough
food to get dependent on us. We always noticed what
bothered them or what bothered what they were looking for.

If we tried meat for a little while, and once
we never made it up there for like a couple
of weeks, they would go down to Larry's house and
bang on the side of the house. So we decided
not to give meat. We just did apples and peanut
butter and set up games and played tricks, you know,

to try to show that they used hands and found
out what kind of they loved, little sort of plastic
toys and all stuff like that. And so if you
want them gone, there's one way to approach it. But
if you want them to stay around, there's another way
to approach it. I guess that's the way I could
answer that question. That's an amazing time. We had an

amazing six years at Larry's and I'm hoping to get
that back at the HC this year see if we
can draw them. And there is no reports of sasquatch
in this area. There's no no from the homeowners, the
landowners all around there. There is no, no, nothing about

they're all intertwined in a way. I believe they're all
linked together. And I don't I don't believe that one
can talk to from Washington State can talk to one
in Australia, or if the Yaois are a big foot,

those guys in their documentaries, and to me, it looked
like they knew they were they knew the areas that

weird is because you would smell it like for thirty
seconds and then it would just disappear. And that would
that would make sense that they could turn it on
and off, because uh, a skunk smell like that or
a smell that was bad doesn't go away like that.

And that's how we would smell it at Larry's, at
least in my experience. What's the lot numbers that if
I knew that it'd be all over that one point
was it? One point seven billion dollars guys for that

help with that money is just I just couldn't imagine
the good you could do with all that.

little about you, and I'm sure some of the folks
in the in the audience know a little bit about
you and in the chat room. But for those folks
that are just meeting Tommy Coulin for the first time,
you want to give them a little small bail before
we get things started absolutely.

I've been so excited for this brother, so thank you
very much for having me on. I'm Tommy from the
Let's Get Freaky podcast. We talk all topics on the paranormal, ghosts, cryptids, UFOs,
or all aspects of high strangeness. A little bit of
conspiracy as well, because I think sometimes paranormal and conspiracy

comes hand in hand. But yeah, we get Freaky. I
normally get really cool guests on, like yourself, You've been
on the show, and they share their experiences. I share
some of mine, and yeah, we're just all trying to
learn more about this crazy world that we live in.
We know there's a lot more going on. We were
just trying to get the answers.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Man, So why did you start the podcast telling? Well,
why did you feel that was important to do? Why?
You know, we all have our own regular, everyday jobs
and we're trying to figure out things on our own. Why.
Why did you want to Why did you want to
do the podcast thing?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I always I wanted to do it for a long time.
It was something that I wanted to do for many
years before I did it, and it was always one
of those things that you said I'd love to do that.
I'd love to do that, but you never quite took
the jump and just start doing it, and I never did.
And for a lot of years I thought about it,
and then kind of twenty twenty happened where we all
got shut down and the world ended for a year

(26:39):
and we just didn't know what was going to happen,
and it kind of changed me massively. It's sort of like,
I know, it changed a lot of people, but for me,
it was like a wake up call. I was like,
now it's time to do the things you want to
do because tomorrow is not guaranteed anymore. So we met
and a family, moved to a new area. We started again.
I left my job that I wasn't particularly happy in,

(27:00):
you know, but I've been there for a few years
and it was quite comfortable. But I was like, you know,
let's let's move and we moved to a new area.
And yeah, I just started doing the podcast, man, and
it's it's just been non substance since starting it, and
I love doing it man, like yourself, I love doing
the shows, and you meet amazing people like yourself and
so many cool people. So yeah, it's just great, and

(27:22):
that's really it. Really, I just just wanted to do
it for a long time and finally did it right. Right.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
So you're no stranger to the phenomena, You're no stranger.
It hits you at it as a young kid. You
actually grew up in a haunted house. You want to
I want to give a little reflect on that a
little bit as we will.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Yeah, Well, so I've always been, I say, a believer
because I've always I've had experiences throughout my life. You know,
It's never really been something that I that I've doubted.
You know, obviously everyone has moments where the like I
could be you know, over imagination and things like that.
But you know, I've had too many experiences which, like,
for me, confirm that this stuff is real. Whatever, this star,

(28:01):
the highest Strangers, there's a lot more going on that
we I'd always see. But when I was a kid
growing up, I was always a bit of a weird kid.
I'm still quite strange now, but I was very scared
of the dark, and I still am, to be honest,
I'm still am scared of the dark. But I was
just I would never want to be in the room
away I and always felt like something was watching me.
I was just one of those kids. And this was

(28:22):
like from day one, since I can remember, I was
always like that. I always felt like, I don't know,
I just felt like there was something around me, and
you know, I just just a strange kid. But when
I was around ten years old. So we moved to
this house when I was about six, and it was
always a weird vibe in the house. There was always

(28:43):
like weird noises. You know. The whole family felt it,
you know, there was a lot of It was more
like the feeling that we got, and we didn't really
talk about it until we left the house, but whilst
we was there, we all felt it. Obviously, me and
my brother were very young, so we didn't really talk
about it. But this for years, I was just scared.
You know. I would just wake up during the night

(29:04):
and my mom and dad often left a light on
for me and my brother, so we did wake up.
We wouldn't panic too much, but you know, we was
out of the bed. I was out of the bed
in my mom and dad's room because I just felt
scared all the time. It was just that feeling. And
there was one night which obviously really stands out because
I was in bed. I woke up during the night

(29:25):
and me and my brother had bunk beds. My little
brother he was on the bottom bunk. I was on
the top bunk. And I woke up during the night
and it was all the lights were off. So I'm
kind of panicked anyway, and I looked down at my
desk that was in the corner of the room, and
there was a man sitting there at the desk, just
this full bodied man. It wasn't my dad, just this

(29:46):
guy sitting there sort of with his head in He's
heading his fist, kind of looking up in my direction.
But he wasn't moving at all. But I didn't think
this was a ghostory and he wasn't like a sea
for anything like that. He was just a solid, solid
as me and you. It was just a solid man.
And I just screamed my mom, Mom, And obviously I

(30:07):
couldn't even get to my bed. I was terrified. My
Mom's come running in and this guy is still there
in the corner. He's not moved at all, but I
can see him very clearly. Mom, there's a man. There's
and I'm pointing to the corner of the room. Pointing
to the man, and she's kind of gone over to
where I'm saying he is. And I don't know if
she's gone through him or anything like that, but she's
come back over and she's trying to calm me down.

(30:28):
Now at this stage, I've spoke to my mom many
times about this, and she apologizes to this day, like
she will listen to this podcast and she will apologize
to me again, because she always does. She kind of
got a little bit angry with me. She said, there's
no one there. You're staying in your room. Because I
was getting to that age where like my mum and
Daddy was becoming a problem with me, like getting in

(30:48):
their bed every night and stuff. So my mom was like,
you're staying in your room. She got a little bit
angry with me and said that you're not coming out
of your bed. And I just remember going under my
covers and just like sweating, and every now and again
I would look down at this dude and he was
just still sitting there. He didn't move the whole night.
It was the same man entity, whatever it was, he

(31:10):
was there, and I just kept going under the covers, sweating.
Every now and again, I'd look he hadn't moved, and
he kind of looked like I kind of say, he
looked like William Shakespeare. It wasn't William Shakespeare that was,
but that was as a ten year old me, that
is what I like put it to. He had like
long brown air, he had like a little brown beard.

(31:31):
He was wearing like a brown suit with brown boots,
and he just looked like something from Victorian or Shakespeare,
you know, whatever those times, whatever time period he was from,
he wasn't from our time basically. And I just somehow
that night I fell asleep. I was just I don't
know how, but I kept going under the covers and
looking and it felt like it was going on for eternity. Really,

(31:53):
it was terrifying. Somehow I fell asleep. I woke up
the next morning and I just remember like waking up
looking down at my desk. The man was gone. But
I never saw that particular entity, ghost, whatever it was.
I never saw him again. But that was like a
big moment. That was like a moment for me that
I know, I know that was something you know, that

(32:14):
wasn't just a bad dream, That wasn't just me seeing
something in the dark that wasn't really there. That was
very real, you know. And that was like the moment
that I kind of say, I don't like saying noh,
but a big believer in that there's more going on
around us, and that kind of set me off, man,
I guess, And it's probably the reason why I'm here now.

Speaker 5 (32:36):
Right when I was a child, I had when I
was in bed, I had my first experience with a
ghost like that, but mine was a Scooby Do ghost.
It was like it looked just like the white sheet
Scooby Do ghost. KAI saw my hair on my arm
was just sticking straight up.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Yeah, I'm going.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Across the bedroom. And I always remembered in that house
that I would never want to go into the basement.
You could never get me in the base I would know.
I was like a three years old, probably four years old,
I wouldn't. I can remember that basement door. I could
see it right now. Was there a room in that
house like that for you? Or after that? Did that
house chill out or what happened? Now?

It didn't, It didn't chill out. There was there was
there was there was always a weird vibe like in
every single room. To be honest, I felt it everywhere.
As a kid, you would you would hear like someone
walking around at night when everyone was in bed. I
can't there's not a particular room that kind of stand out,
because honestly, it was like every room in the house
had some feeling. I was in my mom and dad's

room one day, and this was after I saw the man.
So but this was this was during the day, and
I wasn't it kind of been a long time after
because we actually left that house when I was twelve,
but it was somewhere between that time ten to twelve.
I was in my mom and dad's bedroom and I
remember I was just kind of They had like mirrors
in their room, and I was kind of like dancing

in front of the mirror, just being silly. I can't
really remember what I was doing, but my mom and
dad had like a bath from in their room, and
I remember I'm being silly mucking around in It's during
the day. Now, during the day you would still get
a weird vibe. I was still like a little bit
didn't like being on my own much and stuff like that,
but I was a bit calmer when it was light
when it was light out. But this I saw a

naked lady walk past me, right, I kind of caught
her in the corner of my eye, and I followed
this naked blonde lady into my mom and dad's bathroom. Now,
my mom's blonde, and it wasn't uncommon for her to
walk around the house naked. Sorry, Mom, but I just
thought it was my mum. It was a naked blonde lady.

(34:38):
I followed her into the bathroom and I just started
talking to her, Mom just saying something to her, and
I'm walking towards the bathroom, got into the bathroom and
there was no one in there, and I just remember
this feeling of like like confusion, What have I just seen.
I definitely saw a naked blonde lady walking past, and

(34:59):
I thought it was my mum. And I just remember
running downstairs and be like, Mom, did you just walk
past me? Obviously she didn't. I was just so confused,
and she went, no, I've been here. The holes is
used in the kitchen, and I was like, and she
was fully closed, So I've just seen, like what I
thought was you walking back And I just remember being
very confused by that. But that was another solid thing

(35:19):
that I definitely saw, you know, there was no doubt
in my mind that that was. It wasn't just like
a corner of the eye thing and I followed it
into It was like a solid followed this thing walk
into the bathroom and it was just I wasn't thinking
ghost anything freaky because I just thought it was my mom.
So that was another time I saw something in that
house that I can't explain.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Now now, knowing you what you know now and after
all the investigations and all the stuff that you've heard
over the years, do you think that they knew? You know,
they knew that you could see them, and that's why
they would appear in front of you, Like the rest
of the house wasn't seeing them, correct, it was just yourself.
So do you think that they knew they could see

(36:02):
you or it's your aura or whatever and that's why
you were able to see them and they presented themselves
to you during this time?

I think I think that's possible. I definitely got the
feeling from the guy, even though I don't know if
he was directly looking at me, I felt like he
knew Again, I don't know, I'm just kind of but
he must. I don't know if he knew my fear.
I don't know. I don't know, and I don't know
how these things work really, but I feel like he

possibly knew and even though it wasn't interacting, wasn't moving,
didn't even smile, didn't do anything, but I felt like
he possibly could know the lady that I saw will
pass me. I don't know, because it was like, am
I just seeing a moment in time? Or people have
said to me since doing the podcast, and you know,
when you talk to people about this stuff, people give
their ideas and they say it could have been this,

and it changes changes your mind. As someone said to me,
it could have been a doublegamer of my mom and
that that kind of makes sense to me. Is it
really just looked like my mum? Why it's trying to
trick me into I don't know, you know, because I'm not.
I didn't get a good feeling from that house. So
I don't think whatever was there, And my whole family
would say this, We don't think whatever was there was

was good. It wasn't a positive haunting, you know, it was.
It was very negative for us.

Absolutely that I find that fascinating. Everywhere in the world doppelganger. Yeah,
everywhere in the world, people experience the same stuff, but
they might call it something different. Now that's what I
find quite interested. Every culture, every religion, you know, we're
all experiencing the same kind of stuff.

But we just put a different term, like like the
black shuck there, you know, the devil dog. The hell
everybody's got a different expression for like the title of
that tonight's saying. We'll get into that because I want
to talk about the dog man and the devil dogs.
Just funny, because you know, devil dogs here in America,
it's a it's a it's a cake. It's like a
cake stuffing with frosting, and it's called the devil dog. Yeah. Over,

and I put it in the title I'm like, oh, man,
I'm putting the devil dog in the title. I mean,
that's snack man. I should have used hell hume. But
that's not what they you guys call it. You guys
call it the devil dogs.

So you gotta I think in this particular area that
I'm in now, where the forest's behind me, that is
the term that was given to to this whatever this
thing is devil duck. And I'm all over the UK
and America as well. People call these things, like we
said before, werewolf, hell hound, black dog. There's all different names,

but they're often the same thing that people.

Are experiencing, right like the skukum like here in the States,
you know, the demon fiend. But I did a little
research on the shook and it's weird because some of
it talks about it being evil, a bad thing, that
someone in your family's going to die if you see it,
and then on the other hand it says it protects
travelers and it's a good thing. On the other hand,

it's pretty weird. We'll cross that road down on the
podcast here, but I want to continue on your little
on the paranormal scene when you were a child, because
I just think that it progresses over time, and it
was just so you were like ten or twelve when
this is all going on. Did it continue like at
a steady pace or did it take a break and

then come back again.

So in that house, they were like the two big
standout experiences for me. But it was always the case
of you know, hearing weird noises, feeling like something was there.
And my whole family felt this, like my dad, my mom,
my brother. When we left that house, like at the time,
me and my brother were young anyway, but my mom
and dad didn't talk to us about it. We didn't say, oh,

we think this place is haunted. It wasn't until we
left and me and my brother kind of got a
little bit older that, you know, we'd start talking about
it a little bit more. And my dad was like,
so glad we got out of that house, and we
did because he felt it, like we all felt it.
My dad and my mum had experiences throughout their life
as well, so they were very open to the paranormal anyway,

you know, So they didn't actually see anything, but they
felt that presence there and it wasn't a good feeling.
My brother saw something. Now, my brother's a lot more
skeptical than me. To this day, he's like the skeptical one,
but he's had experiences, but he's very much like, yeah,
it could be this, it could be I'm not saying
he's wrong, but he had an experience in the same

(41:01):
room where I saw the man, in the same kind
of area that I saw the man as well, towards
our desk. So he was on the bottom bunk and
he kind of slept. We kind of slept opposite sides
on the top, so he was sleeping faith like sort of.
If he looked up, he can see the desk. And
he said he woke up one night and he's by

(41:23):
where our desk was. He saw two red eyes and
he said they just started floating towards him, these two
red eyes, and he was terrified. He said, he just
froze and they just gradually disappeared before they got to him.
And that was the only thing that he saw in
the house that he actually saw. But that's that's quite
a terrifying thing as well. Red eyes are never good.

I don't think a families experienced in the paranormal sounds
like Al Santa Riga's family. They are, yes, they are
experienced the paranormal side of things. Did you as you
grew older, did you did your interest girl and did
you want to go look into the paranormal? Did you

want to go find out find answers as you grew older.

Yeah, I've always been fascinated by it. As much as
it does to this day, it still scares me. I
still think, oh, should I be Should I be doubling
in this kind of thing? Should I be doing a
podcast about the paranorm It's a little bit late now,
we're in deep now. But I've always been fascinated. And
you know, as I say, since that experience, for me,

it was like, this is real. You know, there was
no There's never really been a doubt in my mind.
I do think that people can like that. The power
of the mind is strong. I do think we can
manifest stuff in our lives and things. But for me, this,
this this happened, It was real. So I've always been interested.
I always I've always wanted to know the answers. I
always love hearing other people's experiences. And you put all

these things together and you realize that so many people
have these experience, so many people, you know, even people
that say they don't believe in this kind of stuff.
Often say there was this one time, there was this
one time, and they'll tell you this wild story that
you're like, how can you not believe? That's incredible? But
I started watching paranormal shows and then I kind of

So we moved to a new house when I was twelve,
and weird stuff did eventually start happening in the house,
because I think if you're interested in the paranormal, you're
going to notice it, I think. But at first we
moved into this new house, and I remember the first
night being in this new house, and it's it's thinking
about it now. It's strange because I got my own

(43:35):
room for the first time in the new house, and
I'm in this new room and I remember we had
quite big windows, and the street lights were coming in
so the room was light so I could see. The
room was lit up so I could see everything. I
wasn't too scared. It wasn't pitch black. But I remember
laying in my bed for this the first night in
my new room, and I wasn't scared. And I remember

(43:57):
thinking at the times, Oh, this is quite weird that
I'm not scared. Why am I not scared, you know,
I mean, it's not I'm in bet on my own
well am I not scared? And I think that's thinking back,
that was quite strange. But things did eventually happen in
that house that we moved into, and it wasn't until
I mean, I'm sure other little things happened, but it

wasn't till I was twenty one. So quite a big jump.
That kind of a big standout experience happened.

Paranormal all right, So it's continuing. It's just starting at
a young age, and it knows that, and the phenomenon knows,
in my opinion, knows that you know that it exists.
You've interacted with it, and now it's still going. So
now you're twenty one, yeah, and then now it's going
to present itself again, you know. And I just think

that it's it's and I just think that's how it is.
I think that it finds the people that can pay
attention to it, because, like you said, the people that
don't have this one crazy story, but they don't believe
it's just it just now happened, or it just it's
a freak of whatever, you know what I mean. But you,
on the other hand, are you notice it or you

will think about it or you react to it. And
I think that I think it's I think it's smart.
I think that, you know, I don't know how to
explain it any other way. It's intelligent. It's an intelligent
that knows the people, the folks that know that who's
paying attention, and that goes with any of its sasquatch
any of it. They if they know you're paying attention

to them, they're going to hang around. They're going to
let you know that they're hanging around. So what happened
when we were twenty one?

Speaker 3 (45:35):
So when I when I was twenty one, I was
at university. At this time, I was at university in London.
But I used to was a bit I've always been
a bit of a homeboy. So I used to come
home every weekend. As sad as that is, I used
to I miss my family. So I come home every Friday,
stay at home Friday Saturday, go back to university on
a Sunday and I'll stay there all week and then
go back on the Friday. So I was home on

(45:57):
a Friday, and by this time me and my brother
had actually gone got a room together again. My dad
done a loft conversion, and me and my brother were upstairs.
We had our own like little pad basically our own
bar from our own walldrobe and stuff, and we had
our own little little area. So me and my brother
were back together, and so I wasn't in the room
during the week. So it's a Friday night, and me

(46:19):
and my brother, even even when I was twenty one,
and he would have been so he's three years young,
so he would have been eighteen, we would like we
would still if we were like going to bed, we
would still put a film on to go sleep too.
But I think that was just we've always done that.
We don't like sleeping in the dark, me and my brother,
but so we'd put a film on, laid there and

(46:40):
obviously fall asleep and the film would start whatever. But
so I've woken up here in the night and all
the lights are off, but standing over me was the
shape of a man. Now, at this time, I didn't
really know anything about shadow figures. As much as I
was into the paranormal, shadow figures didn't really had not
come into my orbit. I didn't know anything about them.

(47:01):
So I woke up and I've seen the shape of
a man very clearly standing over my bed. Now I've
just freaked out. I'm thinking it's my brother. I'm actually
thinking my brother standing over me, trying to scare me
in the middle of the night. So I've took a swing.
I tried to hit what I think it's my brother,
gone through whatever this thing is, and my brother on

(47:22):
the other side of the room turned his sidelight on.
I was like, bro, bro, was the matter? What's going on?
You're okay? What's the man? I was like, I thought
you were standing over me. I was just very like
shocked and scared. And I didn't even at that time.
I didn't even think shadow figure. I didn't think I
didn't even know it was weird. It really scared me,
but I didn't even put it in a paranormal box.
I was like, I must have just been like stressed,

(47:44):
not had enough seat this week at university. Maybe that's
what it is, and I've just you know, dreaming, half dreaming,
and maybe it was. I'm not saying it's definitely not that,
but it was very strange because this thing was like,
you know, when you hear people talk about shadow figures,
they say darker than the dark and that's exactly what
this thing was. It was a pitch black room, but
you could see the outline of a of a man

(48:06):
just standing over me, and it was it was terrifying
that that's actually happened. When we go further down the line,
that's happened in this house not too long ago. But
at that time, that was very that that that had
never happened before, and that was very scared. It wasn't
until like looking listening to podcasts really later on and
then hearing people talk about shadow figures, I was like,

(48:28):
I've had that experience. I've woken up to the shape
of someone standing in my book by my bed, darker
than the dark. I've had that experience, and I think
that's what it.

I'm with you on that because I'm this is the paranormal.
All this is new to me. Like I said, I've
experienced it like your whole life. But one of the
experiences I had with it, it would just present itself
and then and that would be it, like the door
now would jiggle at a place, or I was at
my grandmother's one time in the door now, I heard
steps come down the we were building a house and

(49:00):
and I want to again. I'll just just brief. I
thought it was my aunt when I was staying on
because my parents were building the house, and I thought
it was my aunt that walked down the thing and
I'm like, what are you doing up here? Aunt, Milly?
What do you want? And there was no answer, and
then all of a sudden that door now I've just
started going and then I'm like, oh my, who's out there?

(49:20):
Is that you want? Millie? Still no answer, and I
threw the sheets overn, go away, go away going, and
I'm grown, man, I'm like, I'm like, you know, not
a girl. Man, I'm like fifteen, sixteen years old. Threw
the sheets over man, and then I heard those footsteps
walk away. And I'm scared to this day about this stuff.
And it just and then it's presented, it like to yourself.

(49:42):
It just keeps on presented. And I'm sure there's folks
in the chat room and that are listening that this
is happening to two. I wonder what it is. I
wonder what it's in the individual that that that that
gets that experiences this stuff. You know what I mean
is the vibration is it there there or their their
aura or what do you think's going on? And tell

me what do you think certain certain people can experience
this stuff tame and tame again.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
M hmm. I think I think it's like an openness
to being open to it, is what I think. I
think if you believe in this kind of stuff, you know,
you've had experience in an experience, and you accept it,
I think you're going to notice more things already. I
think there's a lot of people that have these big experiences,
like my friend for example, and many people will tell

(50:29):
you this, but they've woken up during the night and
they've seen their their grandmother that's passed on the end
of their bed. You hear that story very often. There's
something quite strange that a lot of these experiences that
people have, a lot of people have them the same thing,
but they might not accept it. They might say, no,
I was dreaming, And I'm not saying they're definitely not dreaming,

but they they they they they make it make sense
in their mind and they switch it off. That's what
I think. But I think for guys like us that
have accepted that something strangers happen there that we can't
explain it, you know, we believe it. I think that's
why you have more And I've got a thing as well.
I think when you something I say quite a lot.

I don't think I made this quote up, but when
you look into the paranormal, I think it looks back.
And that is something that I've sort of especially from
starting the podcast as well, I kind of really noticed
things ramping up. So I think I think there's some
truth to that. I think when you're open to it
and you look into it, be careful what you wish for,
because it does come back. That's what I think.

No, I agree with you, and people need to take
notice in all these fields. And and I'm I'm you know,
I'm people like this Bigfoot podcast and they when you
start introducing the paranormal stuff to them, they kind of
back off. But it's it's important to know that spearing
entities throw rocks, they can they can move things, they

can make noises, they can do everything in the forest.
So if you're experiencing this stuff in the forest and
you're not seeing what's doing it, you can't claim on
what's doing it. You can't say that that's a sasquatch
that's throwing stones at me. Because you've not seen a
spirit can throw stones at you, and there's spirits in
the forest. I know that we pick up EVPs all
the time now and you know, after that first one

and they come and they mimic us now and we
hear sounds and who knows what it is because we're
not seeing it. Do you think that the set and
I know that we're jumping a little bit ahead. I
just wanted to ask this question. Do you think that
the cryptid side and the paranormals they all walk the
same path? Do you think it's all Is it linked

together or do you think they're separate entities.

I think some of it is linked together, for sure,
I really do, because, as you say, a lot of
big for activity that we see in the forest that
people experience quite often, if you put that experience in
the home, that's exactly the same as a haunting. You know,
you might see an old you know, people say they
see lights sometimes connected to sasquatch, you know, the rock throwing,

the noises. There is some of the activity that people
are experiencing in the sasquatch research is the same as
what people are experiencing in paranormal hauntings. You know, so
there does seem to be a connection. I'm kind of
when it comes to bigfoot and cryptids, I'm kind of
on the fence. I do think that there are cryptids

out there that are more fresh and blood natural. But
then I also think, like in the cases of hearing
the UK, I think if you cryptids here are possibly
more there's more of a supernatural thing going on, you know.
So I think it's a mix with UFOs as well.
I think I think it can all be kind of connected.
Similar things are going on. But again, at the same time,

we put ufo, cryptids and the paranormal in like their
own box. But there does seem to be a connection
to all of.

It, right right, Yeah, And you have to protect yourself.

I've had my house plus now three times. I've had
scratches on my inner arm. I've had, you know, my babies,
my grand babies were living with me. They've seen monsters
in the rooms I've had. I've brought it home with me.
I mean, you don't know what it is you're bringing
home with you. It could be very very bad. It
could be demons, it could be anything like that, you know.

I hate to use that word. But people, you need
to because you don't know what you're walking across on
the out there. There's folks out there that go in
the forest and they do rituals. And you could walk
across a spot that does a ritual and all of
a sudden you're picking up whatever they're laying down. You
catch my that's a groovy way of saying it. That's
pretty groovy, right, That was getting I mean, I was

getting freaky.

That was getting freaky. You have gotta be careful. You
have got to be careful. Start this as much as
the paranormal and I know I love it, obviously, we
both do. We do paranormal shows, but there is a
dangerous side to it as well, which I've learned that
you have got to be careful. You know. I think
you can help the door that is you might not

want to open when you're looking into this kind of stuff. Yeah,
it's fascinating.

When I was should I tell you a UFO experience
I had, which is very interesting. I had a wild
UFO experience when I was fourteen. I had I've had

a few UFO experiences, but there's like two that sort
of really stand out for me. But when I was
when I was fourteen, this is this is going to
sound quite wild, but this absolutely happened. So when I
was fourteen, we was playing football in the street or
soccer and it was me and my brother and a
few other guys that we were playing with. And we've
done this every day. During the summer, we was out

every day playing football. It's just what we did all
the time. But it was a beautiful, beautiful summer's day
and I remember it was like clear blue sky and
we're playing football just in our street and one of us,
it might have been me, but one of the boys,
were like, what is that. We've all stopped and we've
looked up and there's this thing in the sky, which

(56:54):
it's very hard to describe because it's like nothing I've
really seen before. Since I've seen things close to it,
never exactly what we saw that day, and it was
like this very strange shaped object in the sky and
it kind of looked like, so this is this is
the best way for me to describe it. So if
you take like a futuristic building that you see in Dubai,

you know, like these buildings are like really stylish buildings,
you pick one of them up, put it way up
in the sky and just let it float. That is
basically what we saw. And I know that sounds wild,
but it was like we were watching it, Me and
my brother and friends were like trying to work out
what it is. We're saying, is it a plane?

Is it is it a blimp?

Like, what is it?

What are we seeing here? And it was just there.
It wasn't moving, It wasn't as far as I'm aware,
it wasn't spinner or anything like that. It which is
still and it was like orange orange. There was like
an orange orangeeness to it and a silver orange and
silver like intertwine. And the more I picture it like
and this could be me adding on to the memory,

but I feel like there was like detail was in it.
But to be honest, it was so far in the distance.
I might just be adding that on as time goes on.
But we don't know what this was. This thing now.
The weird thing is is we we just started playing
football again. We didn't stop to see how long it
was there for. I don't remember if we I'm sure
we did look later, but I don't remember how that ended.

We just carried on playing football and it really bugs
me to this day, and me and my brother never
really talked about it, which is quite strange because it
was such a weird thing to see.

UFO topic has always been pretty big since, you know,
since I can remember, but it's not as it's at
its biggest now. I would say it's fair to say,

Me and my brother just didn't talk about it. It's

very strange, and I kind of this memory was always there,
but obviously a memory that I didn't think about very
often because when I started Let's Get Freaky, I kind
of wrote down all the things that I'd experienced in
my life just so when I'm talking about it, I can,
you know, share it. And I tried to get some
sort of order to what because you know, with these experiences,

they kind of get jumbled and you you don't really
you don't remember years and stuff like that at the
time really, so you have to sort of really remember it.
And this memory never came back to me. And I
was on Paranormal Heart podcast with Catward was Awesome, Lady,
the first time I'd ever done a podcast, and I'm
talking to Cat and I was just sharing my experiences

and this memory came back to me, and I was like,
I'm going to share it. It's wild that I've only
just remembered this, but I'm going to share it. And
I told her the story and then she put the
podcast out a few days later wherever it was, and
my brother listened to it because it was the first
time I was on a podcast, so he made sure
he listened to it, and he wrung me up and
he said, Brah, what was that thing we saw that day?

That orange silver object? Like he remembered it. And I
was just so happy that he remembered it as well,
because I wasn't kind of going, ma and you know,
making this memory up in my mind. He remembered it
as well. Very strange to this died. I don't know
what that was, you know, I'll put it in the
UFI cutchigory, but it was very weird and have a
weird tye in my life.

You're you're experiencing everything like I've seen two craps with
my wife, like close up, like right over my place here,
like fifty feet like it was just side of a
football field, and we chased and we chased it that
day and she's in the car and she's going, you
know what. There it was like five thirty in the afternoon,
six o'clock and there's people out in the parking lot

up here. There's houses around me, but then literally five
minutes from me there's a big forest and heathland like
it stretches for quite quite far, which is a big
reason why we moved here, to be honest. But I
didn't know anything about the devil dog. You know, I've
always obviously interested in bigfoot and stuff like that, but
didn't know that I was moving to an area where

the where something's been reported. Now, I know, when you
when you look into this kind of stuff, most places
in the UK in the US there are reports of
this activity. You know, you'll get the people that say
that sounds crazy, but so many people do have these experiences.
And what I've learned about over there is that there's
people that have seen what you would describe as a

dog man red eyes. People see over there. A smell,
a weird smell will just hit people. A weird feeling
people describe like getting a vibe that something negative is
around them, you know, which is weird. As people, we
do experience that sometimes where we just get hit by
something that we can't understand. But there's there's a feeling

that for no reason, you get a feeling of I
shouldn't be here. I think there's something to that. I
think that that is our gut or that is a
sense that we have built in us that we are
picking up on. So, but when I moved to Paul
in Dorset, so I'm originally from Essex and I moved,
as I said, I moved to Paul Dorset. It was
like our holiday place. But when twenty twenty happened, we decided,

if we're going to get stuck somewhere, we would at
least be somewhere we want to be in our holiday place.
So we moved. Our wife got a teaching job here.
I kind of finished my job and got a new
job and started the podcast. But we didn't know anything
about this this devil dog law. When I first came
to the house, some weird things happened. So I've always

been a bit of a night out, so I stay
up during the night. At the moment in the UK,
it's two o'clock in the morning, but that is like
very normal for me to be up at this time,
and I've always been like that in before I started
the podcast. So I would sit downstairs, and we've not
been in the area long, didn't really know many people
around here. I didn't know any neighbors really, and I

would just you know, be in the front room watching
TV and I would hear like a growling literally outside
my window. Now we've got a dog ourselves now, but
at this time we didn't have a dog, and it
happened quite a few nights. I would hear a growling
literally outside my window, and I would look and I
wouldn't see anything. I wouldn't be able to see anything. Now,
I at the time, I just put it down to

you know, there was a guy, a gentleman across the
road that had a rock whiler, so I put it
down to he was letting that and it might still
be that. But I never saw this rock whiler out
at night, and I always used to think it was strange.
Why would you let your rot whiler out in the
street when you've got like a backyard. Why would you
let your dog out, let your dog out at two
o'clock in the morning in the street. You'd surely just

put them in. So I used to find it weird.
But I thought, maybe it's a dulcet thing. Maybe the
people around here just let the dogs out in the
middle of the night. So that's literally what I put
it down. I didn't think too much of it. Something
else weird happened. So, as I say, got a forest
behind us, big reason why we moved here, and that
is where I would like to walk. I walk there
every day to this day now still. But me and

my two daughters were walking through the forest one night
and it was getting dark. It wasn't fully dark, but
it was getting dark and we was quite far in
and Amy, who's my oldest daughter at the time, she
would have been about ten to eleven when this happened.
We were walking through the forest, and she just suddenly
freaked out, like freaked out massively. Me and my other

daughter were like, Amy, what's going on? Calm down? She went, Daddy,
I've just seen a big foot. I've just seen a
big foot. This was her words, and I was like, Okay,
I go. And at this time, I'm thinking, you've not
seen a bigfoot. You're you've seen something that's freaking you out.
And I've been a bit of a hypocrite because I
talk to people that see bigfoot all the time now,
but I was saying to her, no, you've not seen bigfoot.

And I didn't know what she'd seen, to be honest,
but I just wanted to calm her down. In my mind,
I'm thinking she's watched one of my big foot shows
that I've watched, and she's scaring herself. We're in a forest,
she's scaring herself. I said. We kind of got home
and I said, what did you What did you see?
And to this day she stands by this story. She's
she's nearly fourteen now and she still stands by this story.

She saw do She described a big foot, tall, big
black creature with yellow eyes. She says that and to
this day, she stands by that, So that was weird.
That was like, Okay, that's another strange thing that's happened there.
I still don't know anything about people seeing a devil
dog and stuff in the forest. Then I started my

new job and at this time I was doing the
Let's Get Freaky podcasts. So everyone I meet, I tell
him about the podcast and asked him about their experiences.
And there was a girl at my work that was like,
I've had this this experience in our forests, and she
told me about the devil dog. And I was like,
this is incredible. I've got we've got a devil dog
law in our forest, in our backyard. And she was

(01:09:20):
like yeah, and she she'd had an she never saw it,
but she'd had experiences of like the smell, the bad vibe.
She said. She used to say, there's like a little
park at the start of the forest that she said
when she was a little girl, she used to be
on the swings and stuff, and all of a sudden,
the energy would just get really dark, and she would
she would feel like something was in the forest watching her, basically,

and she she'd always had this fear and her dad
had experiences as well.

I can't remember exactly what he experienced, but he had
some weird stuff going on in the forest as well.

I'll be able to get her talk to her about

But anyway, she she told me about the Devil Dog law.
She said it's in a book and she basically opened

my eyes to it, and I was like, wow, So
maybe that was something to do with the growling. Maybe
that was something to do with what my daughter saw.
The weird thing is, once I learned about the devil Dog,
I never heard that grounding outside my window. Again, it
used to happen quite a lot, but once I heard that,
that never once I knew about that. I don't know
if that's a connection or anything. Then we got ourselves

a dog. So we've got our Staffortibull terrier now and
he's a lovely dog, very friendly, but fearless like you
like a pitbull, you know, they're just fearless dogs. And
on two occasions, so we take him over the forest
every day to this day, and we go on all
different routes around the forest. But there was this one time,

me and my wife, my free kids, and my dog Blue.
We're all walking through this forest and we've been on
this path before. It wasn't a strange area. We've been
on this path before. But we're in the middle of
the forest and all of a sudden, blewing my dog
Rose started backing up. And now this is a little
staffageable cherries. He's not scared of anything to this day.

(01:11:13):
Like we've got balls over the forest, he will run
at the ball. He's not worrying about people, other dogs
or anything. So it was very out of character, and
I was like, Blue, what's going on? Man's going He's
literally trying to like he's either seeing something or sensing
something in front of us. That's what it was like.
So I've literally had to pick him up, walk past
the area where he's freaking out, put him back down,

and he's absolutely fine. He's ready to go. I said
to the wife, that's so strange, Like, why has he
done that? Is he smelt something? There's very out of character.
So I went I said, I've got to go back
and have a look to see if there's anything there.
Went back, nothing, couldn't find anything. I found out a
scat on the floor that I took a picture of
and sent it to a friend that researched bigfoot and said,

is this bigfoot poo? Because I've just seen this poo?
Is it? And he said, no, it's cowpou mate. Okay,
no problem, thank you. But I don't think that's going
to freak my dog out. Don't know what. I don't
know what it was. He's only ever done it one
other time, where he's just literally freaked out in the
forest seemingly nothing, but it's like he can see something
or sense something. And he was with the wife on

this occasion and same thing backed up in a different area,
different part of the forest, closer to actually right just
outside where that girl said she had experiences in the park.
Actually that's where he freaked out this time. But she
said there were no other dogs around, nobody else was around.
It was just her, her friend and the kids were
there as well, But the dog freaked out nothing again,

to the point where she had to pick him up
walking past the era. So that was very strange. That's
another thing that possibly can relate to something going on.
And then so this is skipping forward a little bit.
My two daughters got new bikes and I was taking
them over the forest. Through the forest they can ride
their bike. And it was a Saturday night. It was

getting dark, it wasn't fully dark, and there's this little
pathway and like the girls like to ride their bikes
down this path. I stand on the end and watch
them and I can see them the whole way and
they turn around and come back, and they've done this
a few times. They enjoy doing it. I've said before
that it was like half a mile. It wasn't half
a mile, but it's quite a long path. But I

can see the end and we've gone down the forest.
The girls have gone, can I go down this path?
And I'm like, yeah, okay, And I'm watching them go
down and as they're riding down, I've seen this. It
was on all fours, but it was like a big
gray dog came out the end of the path right
and I've said, that's a big fox. There's my first fault, like,

that's not a fox. That's that is a big dog.
And it kind of looked like a wolf, like from
a distance. And my two daughters have got halfway down
this path. They've seen it because they've both stopped and again,
they're not scared of dogs. I love dogs, so they're
not freaked out by a big dog. They stopped aiming.
My eldest has rode back to me. My middle daughter,

Ruby has started riding her bike back to me, but
fallen because she's so panicked. So I've run to Ruby
picked her up. We both looked, this thing's gone. Whatever
it was, I said, Ruby, what did you see?

What was that?

She meant it was a wolf Daddy, that was her words,
and I was like, whoa, Let's get out of here,
Let's get out of it. And it freaked me out.
It was very strange. Now for a skeptic, they could

been didn't see any owners call it back or anything
like that. It was just very strange. And when you

put all these things together, knowing the history of the location,
I kind of put it towards something supernatural, possibly the

they're not. They've not been wild in the UK to

saw a black panther in the UK, So there is

say he's not there, but I think he's there.

one of the steeples to collapse. Whoa, So this is

Well, I just think the more because, as you say,
the dog Man stories are growing, and five ten years
ago you might not have heard the term dog man
as much as you do now. I think it's a
number of things going I think some of it is
the fact of what we were saying earlier, being open
to this kind of stuff. Is that why people are

seeing things like dog Man and Bigfoot more often? That
would suggest it's more of a supernatural element. Not saying
that all big Foot and dog Man aren't flesh and blood,
but it's possible that some of it is supernatural. I
think that's a part of it. I also think as well,
with the paranormal, with UFOs, with cryptids, you don't sound

as crazy anymore, you know. I know that. Don't get
me wrong. You tell a lot of people about this
kind of stuff, and you still from a lot of
people get that look like okay, mate. But I do
think the topic is growing. More people are willing to share.
The stigma's not there as much as it used to
be because so many people have had these experiences. You know,
I'm sure you can't say that everybody is wrong with

what they're seeing. Some people it might be misident Fine,
like what I saw it it could have been a
big dog. I'm not I don't know what that was.
It was too far away to really know. All I
can go with what is what I saw and what
my girls saw. But I think I think that's what
I just think people are getting more comfortable in general
talking about seeing en cryptids, UFOs, ghosts, and I think

that's a good thing for us because it's it means
that this, this this topic, this conversation is growing, and
the more people that are willing to share, the better. Really,
you know, there still are a lot of people that
will never report anything they experience and they'll go to
their grave with these experiences. There will be a lot

want the stigma, they don't want that look that you get.

different labs around the world, and I believe it was
a lab in Portugal got back to him and said,
what you've found is old ape DNA. That's what he

people will probably getting more comfortable in sharing experiences. I
think because at first, you know, you say you've seen

I've talked to people that I truly believe that they

I would say mostly when you talk about high strangers,
most people it's going to be UFOs or ghosts. I

more ghost experiences. You know, it's very rare to meet someone,
as I say, you get a lot of people that
will say they don't believe in this kind of stuff.
But it's very rare to meet someone that has never

had any experiences. You know, they might not accept it.
They might say, yeah, I don't know what it was.
But most people have had some sort of experience or
know someone very close than that they trust that have
had a wild experience as well. But yeah, I would
say mainly ghosts. I mean a lot of people see UFOs.

With UFOs, it's different because there's a lot of stuff
going on in our sky that we don't understand. You
see a light, you know, a weird light move through
the sky in a weird way. You know we are
that's the UFO. So many people see stuff like that.
But yeah, I would say probably ghosts. It's probably the

will of the Whisper, I believe, which is like calling
into the forest, you know, lights or like a scream
or you know, you get a lot of reports of
people hearing stuff like that screams like a woman's voice

I heard a woman's screaming in that forest over there,

But and I find this interesting because the white lady,
the woman in gray, they're like a lot of people
see that. The hat man, a lot of people see that.
So many people all around the world describe seeing the
same thing, the woman in white. My nan and Grandad
actually have a story with the woman in white. So
they were staying in a hotel in Devon, which is

a very spooky part of the UK. It's very cool,
but it's like very oldie worldy and just very spooky.
There's certain areas there that are like set back in time.
They haven't really changed that much and they've still got
that cool vibe, spooky vibe and my name and grandad
was staying. There's a place called Dartmoor and they were
staying in this really old, haunted hotel and they were

staying with friends. And when they arrived to this hotel,
they were told that there was a local flasher in
the village that was going around flashing, so just beware,
that's what they were told. And a bit of a
strange thing to hear and arrival in a hotel, but whatever,
maybe I don't know what that's me. But they were
staying and they were sleeping one night and they heard

like a piercing scream and ani grandad said, there was
a scream and they were like, my granddad turned to
my nann and said, that must be the flasher. Someone's
seen the flasher. But they found out the next day
that their friends that were staying in a room close
by to them had seen this woman in white and
they said they'd woken up to seeing a woman all

in white walk through the room and walk through the
wall away and it freaked this obviously, the lady out
so much he screamed. They went to the reception the
next day and said, we've just seen a woman in
white for our room, and the lady very calmly behind
the counter said are you in room twenty five wherever
it was, and they were like yeah, yeah. She went okay, yeah,

that happens very often in that room. We'll move you
to another room. It wasn't like a big deal. They
were like very used to people seeing this woman in
white and that lady. One of the grandad said that
lady that experienced that, she very much changed after that.
It kind of was a very negative experience for her
and she was never the same. But so many people

are port seeing the woman in right, woman in white.
There's a road literally five minutes from a house where
I am now where people are report seeing lady in
white standing on the side of the road, and you know,
they drive past her, look back and she's gone very strange.

on around us all the time that we can't see
other worlds, of a dimension, of a realm, whatever you

devil dog where I am, if that is a legit thing,
If there is a devil dog there, in my opinion,

we spoke about it that night. I don't remember thinking
about it too much after that. I know it was

But it's actually saying that there was a time where
I was doing a podcast with a guest where I
could have sworn we was talking for like two hours.
I'd like set a timer and stuff. She thought we'd
been talking for two hours, but it was only like
an hour. So it's very weird. That's the only time

I can think of like where it felt like there
was a weird time something going on with time. But yeah, no,
I don't think so. I'm not sure though.

Another question, I'm going to use it again. When you
were young and you had probably you had an interaction everything,
and then you grew all you you grew older, you
went through time, and then you had another interaction and
had did you ever feel this feeling again that you
were feeling when you were young and then explained and

explaining and explained to you what you were seeing or
feeling that you remember one year? Do you ever have
you ever experienced that before? Ah?

I've still when I've seen things. Because I've woken up
in the house that I'm in now and seen like
the shape of something standing there. I still feel that.
I still it scares me. It's happened two or three
times in this house in four years where I've woken
up and there's been the shape of something there. There
was also a time as well where I woke up
and I thought my wife was sitting up crying. I

could see us. I see what I thought was my
wife when I put my hand on her back, and
I've gone through her looked down and she sound asleep.
And that was very strange. That fear though, of when
I was a kid waking up during the night and
seeing that man in my room. That was like a
fear that I don't think i've saying. I used to

get really bad sleep paralysis as well. Well. For many
years I had really bad brothers. Is where the fear
was very strong there. But when it's happened in this
house now, I don't know if it's because I talk
about this stuff. When I look into it a little
bit more, the fear is not as strong. I wouldn't
say I get scared. I worry more about my kids
and stuff. So when they tell me they've seen something

(01:31:18):
or felt something very much, that that concerns me a
lot more than me seeing something now. But I'm still
scared of it. Don't get me wrong. I still don't
want to wake up and see it like a man
standing there. Don't want to see it. Could never have
any more experiences again and be very happy and still
know that there's more going on. But you know that
initial fear when I was a kid, and even when

(01:31:39):
I was twenty one and waking up to seeing that
man standing above me, whatever that was that was, that
was a fear that you know, I don't want to
experience that again, to be honest.

Speaker 5 (01:31:48):
Yeah, I'll tell you. I'll tell you a story right
now that I've never ever told anybody before. Wow, I
was so scared when I was a child that I
would take my face and I would ram my nose
into my bed to give myself a bloody nose, so
my parents would have to come and tend to it

(01:32:09):
and take me man and be with me. That's how
scared I was of what was happening when I was
a child. I never told that story to tonight, but
I thought it was important. The way you were talking
about when you were a child, I would make my
nose bleed, so my parents would have to come in
with me and I would like to put the light on,
and it was yeah, it was bad.

Speaker 3 (01:32:32):
Well that's why now if my kids come into sort
of room during the night, as kids do, I always
listened to the man. I always we always set them
up a little bed and let them sleep in our
room because I just can't. I happened, actually, funny enough,
it happened last night with my oldest daughter reached out
during the night, came running in saying she'd seen a
light in her room, and I just straight away said,

(01:32:53):
I come in out room, just sleep on the floor,
you know. And when that happens, I kind of out
of a priy and you know, that's that's how I
deal with these things.

Speaker 5 (01:33:03):
Really, But a stick around the floor, that's how you
deal with it underneath the bed, because that's where the
crazy thing.

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
You know, what they do.

Speaker 3 (01:33:14):
They get me on the floor and then they get
in my bed. That's what they do.

Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
Next question here from Blue Eyed Northern Ast Timmy. Any
reports of the little people that's.

Speaker 3 (01:33:26):
One of my favorite cryptids. Little people. There are reports yeah,
they could. What's interesting is they call them something different.
So I mean, not far from me is Devon and
Cornwall and they call them pixies. Have you heard that term?
So that is what they call them there, and it's
like exactly the same as you describe little people tricksters,
you know, tiny little entities that you know, interact with

(01:33:49):
people and trick people. And that's what I find so interesting.
They're exactly the same as like a puck quadji in
New England, you know, exactly the same term little people, puckquay, pixie.
These fairies, you know, there are all these different names
for the same thing. But yeah, there are a lot
of reports and it's quite big in like the folklore,
UK folklore and Irish folklore, Scottish folkalists. There's a lot

of legends with fairies. The brownies.

Speaker 5 (01:34:16):
You heard of that term, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, the.

Speaker 3 (01:34:18):
Little brownies, which is very interesting because when you talk
to people that see elves and things like that now,
they often describe them as being brown.

Speaker 2 (01:34:28):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:34:28):
You hear that quite often where they say this thing
was completely brown, tiny, but brown. And I find that
so fascinating, man. And it's everywhere. It's all over the world.
But yeah, there are a lot of reports of that
here in the UK as well.

Speaker 5 (01:34:40):
People need to pay attention when they're out in the
forest because more than they think. Okay, Steve will says Timmy.
Can you explain anything your kids have experienced, no obligation, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
Yeah, no, absolutely. We actually went through a spell in
this house. Now, it was probably last it was last
or August leading up to just after the last Christmas,
where we were all experiencing quite a negative vibe in
this house. The kids were seeing things very often, The
wife started hearing things and seeing things, and I was experiencing,
like we it was just getting light to a point

(01:35:15):
where I was like, this is actually getting quite worrying.
There was a lot going on in our house, like
weird noises, my wife heard me call her one night
whilst I was at work, stuff like that. But with
the kids especially, were experiencing a lot of high strangeness. Now,
there was there was a night. It was it was
a weekend and my two I've got two daughters and
a son, and my two daughters and my wife decided

(01:35:36):
to have like a girl's night in the front room.
So they sat downstairs and me and Fred were upstairs
and I was like laying in bed and Fred was asleep. Now,
as I say, if the wife's not in the room,
I'll have some sort of light on or a podcast playing. Well,
I left the hallway light on, so there was a
lot of light coming in the room. I wasn't asleep,

(01:35:57):
and Fred, my boy, woke up. He was a little
bit dazed, but he looked to the corner of the
room and he went, there's Amy. Amy's my eldest daughter.
He went, I've just seen Amy wal part. And I
was like, what you've just seen Amy? So I got
up checked Amy's room. She was still downstairs. I said, Fred,
what did you see? What did you just see? Now,

(01:36:18):
granted he had just woken up, so it's hard to
know if he was dreaming, but he said, I just
saw Amy walk pass the room and she was all brown.
That was his words. It was very strange, and I
was like, Okay, let's go downstairs. So we went downstairs
and joined the girls because that was enough for me
to be freaked out. That same week, I get him

(01:36:39):
from work at one o'clock in the morning UK time,
and the kids and a wife are always asleep dogs
always asleep. Don't hear a word from a peepe from
any of them. But the light was on and my
middle door was sitting at the top of the stairs.
I said, Ruby, we doing okay? She went Mummy said
I can sleep in your room tonight, because I saw
Amy walk past my room and it really scared me.

(01:37:00):
And I don't think it was Amy, And it was
exactly the same spot that Fred had said he saw Amy.
And I was like, that's really weird that that's happened
in the same week. Clearly freaked my daughter out, clearly
freaked and they we didn't talk about it. I didn't
tell the family that Fred saw what he thinks was Amy,
you know, and stuff like that was happening, and it

(01:37:22):
was getting to a point where I was like, oh,
maybe I need to stop talking about this stuff, you know.
The wife was like, maybe you got to stop doing
this paranormal podcast. I'm like, no, I can't, I can't stop.
But there was a lot of weird stuff going on,
and to the point where I was I was just
praying out loud every day, you know, And eventually it calmed,
and you know, touch Wood, there's not been a lot
since then. But it was it was getting to a

(01:37:45):
point where, you know, I was getting very worried for
the kids and the room that I'm in now as well.
So this is my my room now where I do
the podcast and stuff, but originally this was my daughter's room.
They were having terrible night sleeps here. They were saying
they were seeing shadow figures and stuff like that, and
I was like, right, let's get him out of this
room and put them in another room. And to be fair,
they've been a lot better. They still have nights when

(01:38:07):
they get scared, but I've got the spooky room now.
But yes, there is points where it does get worried.
I think, you know, I don't I don't want the
kids to be scared of anything.

Speaker 5 (01:38:19):
But I know when my little babies were saying that
they were seeing monsters. AL helped me out with all that.
Al was I went to his birthday party and he
saw the scratches on my arm and they told him
what was going on in the house. He sent the
priest to my house two days later and then it worked,
so it was pretty.

Speaker 3 (01:38:41):
That was a cool dude.

Speaker 5 (01:38:42):
Yeah, that was a great I was a great guy.
Now I forget what I was going to say I
had something else. Sorry.

I do that all the time. That's why I have

No, I thought I could handle two things like rub

Ohh I was doing it now, I remember, see now,
I was doing Andy the Code show, right, yes, And
I had to go upstairs and get a drinker or whatever.
I forgot what. And he was on. He was on,
like where you were, and he's waiting for me to
get back, and uh, I leave the roo, I come back.
I put my head set on he was. He's like,

(01:39:21):
and he goes, who's down in your basement? I'm like,
what do you mean? He's like, who's downstairs? I said,
there's nobody here but me. He goes, dude, you're not
going to believe this, but there was people talking on
your microphone while you were gone out of that room.
WHOA so you talking about you having the spooky room.
I got the spooky room too. Stuff happens here all
the time. I'll tell you sorry, before we go. I

(01:39:42):
have a video light and it's like a big, huge,
like a dome light and it's all sealed in, right,
So I just did all my whole room over and
I took this light down and something shaken inside of it,
and I'm like, what the heck's inside? Was it the
light bulb or whatever? So I peel it off and
it's a little Godzilla way that I collected these little
figurines inside the sealed late. How I got there? Yeah,

(01:40:07):
inside the sealed late. I'm like, there's no way that
I fell in here because it's eight feet in the
air and the Godzillas are over here and the lake's
over here. It was the strangest thing. And I was like,
oh my, so I got the crazy room too.

Speaker 3 (01:40:26):
Well, I'll tell you this. So talking about little People,
I've done an episode where I was I was recording
like we are now, and I didn't I didn't see
it at the time, but my guest said, I've just
seen it, something go across your screen, and I was like, okay.
I didn't take too much notice of it at the time.
And so what I do is when I'm putting an

(01:40:47):
episode together, I normally work on the audio and and
like take out gaps and stuff like that, but with
like the video, I just put it out on YouTube
as it is, so I didn't even I didn't even
look back to see what he saw. And it was
Aaron Aaron Wriggley shout out and wriggly he saw it,
and I was getting messages saying, oh, check your video

(01:41:09):
and section whatever it was, thirty four minutes in whatever
it was. And I looked back and you literally see
so I'm talking and you see this like white it's
like a little miss but to me, it looks like
it's moving along and it just kind of it's about
this big. It's only small, but it like kind of
like walks across the screen. And I see it and

(01:41:30):
I was like, I have put it out as a
clip on my Instagram and stuff. It's like a little
white blur. But to me, it looks like a little
moving that's cool. I don't know what it was, but
it was very strange. Man.
