USA News. I'm John Schaeffer. A hearing underway on Capitol
Hill today is focusing on the origins of COVID nineteen
Republicans pointing fingers at doctor Anthony Fauci and his efforts
to disprove a lab league theory. That's a part that
ticks us off, because this is the highest paid guy
in our government getting all kinds of money to tell
us things that were not accurate. Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan

says doctor Fauci benefited from US taxpayer funded research at
the Chinese Wuhan Lab, then later said the lab leak
theory was a far fetched conspiracy. President Biden will travel
to Philadelphia tomorrow where he will roll out his budget proposal.
The White House claims the budget will cut the deficit
by nearly three trillion dollars over ten years. The budget
also raises the medicare tax on people making over four

hundred thousand dollars per year, and the President wants Congress
to quadruple the tax on corporate stock buybacks. With spring
break upon us, there are growing concerns about travel to
Mexico that comes in the wake of the kidnapping of
four Americans, two of whom were killed by Mexican drug
cartels just across the border from Brownsville, Texas. The US
State Department has issued a travel advisory for most of Mexico.

Even popular resort areas like Cancun and Ksamel are under
the increased caution category. The White Houses joining those who
are condemning Fox News host Tucker Carlson for his depiction
of the January sixth attack on the US Capitol. White
House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre we agree with the
Fox Nation's own attorneys and executives, who have repeatedly stressed

multiple courts of law that Tucker Calson is not credible.
Earlier this week, Carlson released security footage given to him
exclusively by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and argued only a
small number of people illegally entered the Capitol during the riot.

The release of additional footage of the Tyree Nichols beating
at the hands of Memphis police officers is being delayed.
A judge ordered the delay after a challenge from an
attorney representing one of the former officers charged in Nichols's death.
The additional footage was expected to contain audio from after
the beating and more footage after an ambulance took Nichols
to the hospital. It's being argued that additional footage could

influence prosecutors considering more charges. There's a plea from Florida's
governor to let a tennis star enter the US.

Florida Republican Governor Rond De Santis is urging President Biden
to let tennis star Novak Djokovic into the country to
compete in the Miami Beach Open this month. Jokovic hasn't
gotten a COVID vaccine.

Former Dallas Cowboy star Michael Irvin has filed a one
hundred million dollar lawsuit against the Arizona Marriott. Irvin says
the hotel defamed him when they said he acted inappropriately
with a hotel staffer, Irvin, saying that the accusations are racist.
Marriott has banned Irvin from their properties in the wake
of what they call harassing and inappropriate actions toward a
staff member. And Prince Harry and his wife Megan say
