Speaker 1 (00:03):
Usccho dot com.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Welcome to usccho Edge for Friday, October eighteenth, twenty twenty four.
I'm Ed Trevsker alongside the prognosticators Jimmy Connolly and Dan Rubin. Gentlemen,
we didn't even look how we did last weekend, so
we'll forget that even happened. But why don't we jump
in this week. We're going to talk about money lines.
(00:34):
We're going to talk about over under, and the first
one I've got on my list is a big Eastern
matchup Maine, which had one win on the season, a
five to nothing one.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
At Alfond Arena last weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Quinnipiac comes into that difficult place to come and play,
and on that one, the money line on that game
is an even up minus one P fifteen.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
In the over under, he is five and a half.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
I want to start with this one actually by tipping
my cap to an old administrator, Jack McDonald, who a
lot of people credit the start of the MAC and
then Atlanta Cocky after that. Obviously, he was the athletic
director at Quinnipeac at the time, was at Boston College
at Denver. Did a great job at both of those
institutions as well, but I will tell you that when
(01:28):
it was trying to become an emerging conference, the mac
really struggled to get non conference games, and one of
the first schools to give them a game in non
conference play was a road game that Quinnipiac got to
play at Maine.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
And that was what Maine was a powerhouse. They were
a truck back then.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
I think they might have been the defending national champions
at this point.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Maybe it was a year after that. I can't remember
at all.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
He took him all the way to the buzzer pretty much,
and I believe Maine won by a goal. But this
is a good little non conference rivalry that has played
out many times, and I think that it's a credit
to ranpeck Nols and it's a credit to every coach
that has gone through me that they keep scheduling this
non conference a game or series, whatever they do on
(02:15):
a given weekend. This one is one that is really
intriguing to me because the odds makers really don't know
what to do with it. Obviously, Main's a good team,
Quardy Pac is a very good team. They have them
both listed at minus one point fifteen. There's no favorite
in the game. It's just the house taking money at
this point. I love Alphon. I think that's a tough
(02:39):
place to play. I think Quardypiac is a great team.
I think Maine is a great team. This one's really
hard for me to handicap. The over under five and
a half is a good number probably as well, but
I would still probably just edge the over for the
heck of it. It's gonna be hard. It's hard to
keep any number under to five or under. You're dugging
(03:01):
three two three, one two one two nothing. Obviously those
numbers all hit under. I the way I look at this,
whoever you like, take whoever you like. It doesn't matter
a lot because the odds are the same. And then
I would just maybe or steal over a little slightly.
But this is not actually a game, Dan, I don't
(03:21):
know about you, but this is not a game I
like a lot right now.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
No, I'm with you and seeing the odds on this
is where algorithms tend to spit back exactly what we think,
which is that no one knows who's gonna win this.
And like I said last week, the point of the
odds and the point of looking at the money line
if you're not a gambler, if you're is to project
what you might think is gonna happen in the game.
So if you even take a team that would be
(03:46):
ranked eighth in a team that would be ranked forever,
and paired them off against one another, and you saw
one that was maybe plus one seventy five, you would
think to yourself, like, Okay, even though people believe that
this team is this good, numbers in the computers are
looking at this and saying it's an uphill battle, and
we'll see that over the course of the season. In
this game, it's exactly what we would think, which is
(04:08):
that two games into the season, one game into the season,
there's just not enough data to look at these two
teams who are so similar and say, yeah, we think
Quinnipiac is going.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
To win this game, or we think Maine's gonna win
this game.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
The edge goes to Maine, being that if you're going
to take money off on this one, because they're at
home and it's such a tough place to play, But
there's no value I think in betting this game's money line.
I just don't see it when both teams are split
like that. I agree on the over underside of it
when you're five and a half. That said Quinnipiac, the
(04:41):
one thing to keep in mind was that last week
they're one game against Penn State, they were up three
to nothing, gave a two third period goals, and wound
up hitting the under with a three to two game.
So that number and with Maine being a six to
nothering win over AI, c it take those two games,
we're five and a half, and do you think Maine
(05:02):
can score four if Quinnipiac gets to three.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
I don't love the over here. I think I disagree with.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
You on that, but I think it's a hard number
to look at it and not take, given what happened
on the whatever limited small sample size you can get
out of these teams, I just don't love the I
just don't love a five and a half, and I
don't love actually betting it.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Let's to actually stay away from this one as much
as possible.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I liked the over until you just said what you
said about Penn State last weekend, because Penn State's a
team that can really score, and I was thinking maybe
we'd see a four to two, four to three game
up there, But now I'm wondering.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
I think it'd be yeah, maybe, sure, I've seen that
four four three game.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
It just shoudn't happen, And that that's the betterest, biggest
dilemma sometimes is that these the games that you think
will happen don't. The one thing that interests me, and
we don't talk about tuck line a lot, but the
tuck line on this game is really interesting.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
For Quornipiac to lose by a goal or less, I
guess there's no real way to lose by less, So.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Lose by a goal, tie the game, or win the game.
That's minus two ninety eight. For Main to win by
more than one and a half goals, that's plus two
to twenty. And at home, the thought that that maybe
they get a three to two lead and then they
get into an empty net situation. Those are those ideal
(06:33):
situations to hit that minus one and a half at
plus two to twenty, that's some value. But this is
still one of those games that you just shake your
head out and go this is hard to really handicap.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
This is not an easy game easy.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Anytime these two teams match up, both of them play
really good defense, they usually have good goaltending, and despite
the fact that again, some opponents, they'll score seven at
a night.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
You don't guarantee it when these two teams match up.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I was
going to say, Pop explained pop line.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
I think it's a I think there's a lot of
value to be had if you because of the empty netter.
And that's probably where I think the over comes into
play too. It's because if you're in a three to
two game, you're looking for that empty net game. So
if you have empty net goal, But I would rather
see that three to one on Maine than four to
two on Maine. But given the fact that there's a
minus one twenty and a minus one ten even odds
(07:27):
on me over under because of course plus two to
twenty on Maine to hit the two goal win.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
You can at least see some value there.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Which I wouldn't classify that as a pizza bet, but
I would definitely at least if that's pretty close, that's
pretty close.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Arizona State Travels eased to take on Providence last weekend.
The Sun Devil's hosted Michigan lost on the first night,
handily tied on the second night. The line on this
one Providence is minus one eighty Arizona State plus one forty.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
The over undreas.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
This is another really difficult one for me, And again
I guess it goes back to sample sizes because at
this point in the season, and it's why we we
note all the time how poorly odds are set at
this point in the season. But right now, there's nothing
for me that says that the Providence friars are.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Basically eighty plus.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
A dollar twenty better than Arizona State, which is what
the difference in the actual money line is one to
eighty minus against one forty plus.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
So I guess I'm this is another one.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
I get a really difficult time trying to exactly figure
out how to handicap this one.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
The over under right now stands at six.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
I again light the over because I think Arizona State's
a team that loves to score, but they also tend
to give up a lot of goals too. Real Again,
these are some pretty tough games to handicap. Right to
shoot here. Providence went to North Kota last week. They
played the tough ish four to two five two empty netter.
They've played against Union the week week before that four
(09:11):
to one win, so it's getting over that six is
difficult right now. But I think when you look at
Arizona State, it's a team that I think can score
some goals. Maybe they haven't thus far, but they played Michigan.
That's a really hard opponent.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
This is one where I like the value that Arizona
State at plus one forty gives you, and then I
like the value that plus one hundred on the overall
under gives you because the other side of it under six,
going under six goals is minus one thirty, So you're
going to have to give up some too much value
I think to make that a worthy bet.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
One thing that I hate about this game looking at
the way the numbers are lining up, is that Providence
at minus one eighty is plus one thirty five from
the pucklin of one and a half. So essentially, what
we're claiming is that Providence is going to win this
game by one, and I don't think that's gonna happen.
I don't actually think Providence is gonna win this game.
(10:09):
So I think Providence is better than the five to
two loss against North Dakota out and playing in the
US Hockey Hall of Fame game. But I do think
that the lines at this point are just broken. I
think that the algorithms don't have enough data to make
a judgment call on this and looking at this game
(10:31):
to say based off of the numbers that this is
likely going to be a Providence one goal game in
a low scoring game, Oh thank you.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
I would take the.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Over here based on the underdog value, and I honestly
think Arizona State's probably can win this game, so.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's easy straight.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
But yeah, I wouldn't touch the based on what we
were just talking about with the puck line, I wouldn't
touch that and say what about No, this is I
don't actually think Providence is gonna.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Win this game, and I think the algorithms are wrong. Yeah,
I'm not negative toward Providence at all. I think they're
gonna be a fantastic team this year. I think they
are in a better position than they have been. I
just don't have a good sample on where they are
and they haven't played it at home yet. Not that
whome ice at Providence is this massive advantage. Sometimes it
(11:20):
can be, but for the most part, unless you bring
in like Denver or Wisconsin or something like that, it's
the atmosphere doesn't get there. Sometimes it'll get there for
some league games. But so I'm not thinking that Arizona
State is walking into a juggernaut this weekend.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Heading into Schneider that.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Said, I just feel like Arizona State and we and
I talked to Greg Powers last week. I feel like
they're pretty focused, just naturally. Again, this is instinct. This
is not a lot of data points that I'm throwing
in here.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I don't have a lot of series history in this.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
When we can't that Arizona State has been around for
a little more than a decade, It's one of those
games it's very hard to handicap. That said, I like
when I get into a situation where I can't handicap
the game, I go value.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Let me throw a little hunch in here. Providence is
who Providence is year after year. We don't know exactly
what Arizona State is this year, and they could be
a team that takes huge advantage of opportunities and pounces
on those opportunities, or they could be a team that
gets blown out. I don't know who Arizona State is, yes,
(12:32):
but yet, but it seems to me Providence year after
year is pretty much Providence pretty good.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
There a team at and you're right about that. Undernate Lyman,
for fourteen years they have been the same team. They
go in, they for check you hard, they play heavy hockey,
usually have decent goaltending.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
They can score in bunches, I always feel.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
But I also then look at some of the struggles
that you have in that same fourteen year timeframe, and
when they struggle, one of their struggles is where is
their offense? And right now I don't know that we
have a good answer to that question because they've only
played two games. They beat Unity in four to one.
They lost in North Dakota five two empty netters. So
(13:18):
are they a better than an average team they're ranked?
I get it, but I guess we don't know where
Providence is. And I get what you're saying that do
you want to just go parendalally in what usually works?
That makes sense? Sometimes this is one where I just
think the value is not there to just take some
perennial hunches.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
And on top of that, the one thing I would
throw in there is perennially they are what they are.
But we might find out more in the coming weeks
when they play from up when they play Unah, when
they play Northeastern, when they play Hockey East teams, we
will learn more about Providence than I think we're going
to get in their second or third game of the year,
second official game, whatever or whatever it winds up being.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
We're just going to learn more about them after this weekend.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
They could very well win five out of six of
those who come out of those five hundred. Yeah, and
both of those where not unreasonable for them being a
perennially good team. We just don't know which part of
their streak during and so forth. Let's move on to
the next one. Minnesota is at Minnesota Duluth. The Gophers
are minus twoth. Minnesota Duluth plus one seventy five over
(14:26):
under on this one is six.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Yeah. I don't care the value on Duluth right now.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
There's a lot of value there in no way, and
it's not that's nothing disrespectful to Scott's handling and his team.
I called their Saturday game last week, talked to him
for a good bit of time lost last Wednesday. He
likes his team. They're healthy right now, They've got some
good players in there. But I just watched Minnesota in
(14:52):
that icebreaker a little bit, and they look like a
pretty good team. The fact they lost that game on
Saturday night to Omaha in the final of the icebreaker,
that's going to make them ultra motivated in this series.
Do they sweep it, I wouldn't be surprised if it's
a split. But if I had to figure out who
was trying who was going to win on Friday, I'd
(15:15):
probably go.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
With the Gophers over Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Duluth see and from a betting standpoint, I'll go the
other way because it's because it's plus one seventy five
and there is value I think to be had on Duluth,
and part of that is the home underdog theory. But
other than that, Minnesota going to Duluth feels like Minnesota
is stepping into a bit of a hornet's nest. And
(15:39):
I love the way Duluth plays at home. I think
I don't have the record in front of you, but
I feel like they were significantly better at home last
year than on the road, and that is a really
hard place to sometimes win. I will say that I
hope that they put away the official school logo for
a week after they redesigned it.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
That looks like that from Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
I don't know if that's stuck around or not, but
the fact that it was the Minnesota m I'm sure
all that the glop people just threw their radios. So
whatever they listen to podcasts on just got thrown off
the wall because of a But I like the loop
at home with value. I don't know if they're gonna win.
I do think it's a split. They don't know if
they're gonna win. But I like the value still touching
the over under because I don't think there's any value
(16:22):
that we had there over under A six.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Yeah, I don't, you know me, I love the value play.
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
When you feel like a team is not going to
lose back to back games, that's how I feel about
Minnesota right now, even.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
Though they're going on the road, even though they're.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Going into a hostile environment playing a team that is
somewhat of a rival, I just I can't see them
losing this game. I can't see them going back to
back losses. This team is too good to lose back
to back.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
With that, we're going to take a break, we come back,
We'll have two more games, plus our pizza money game.
When USC h O edge continues, we're back with USCCHO
edge the next game as North Dakota at Minnesota State
Fighting Hawks or minus two thirty eight The Mavericks plus
(17:12):
one eighty over under on this one is five and
a half.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Like, no, it's Koda here, And it's no disrespect to
Minnesota State. I just really like North Dakota the way
that they show out right now. I can't pick against
them unless it's really a doc. If they're playing Denver,
I'd maybe give this more of a look. And again,
not any disrespect to what Minnesota State is or whop
(17:40):
who they are. It's just hard, really hard to try
to pick against North Dakota in a game like this,
even though you're on the road. It's still this is
just especially the first game you're going on the road.
I get it, but it's hard to pick against a
team as strong as North Dakota is this year, even
(18:04):
on the road against some Minnesota's state team that I
know is very good.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Yeah, this is a little bit of a stretch for
me in terms of finding the home value to you
on that home underdog. I know, plus one eighty is
all right, let me throw down, let me throw down.
It borders on the pizza money better for me borders
on it. But it's not enough of a value for
me to really want Minnesota State and be willing to
flush some money down the drain. I think if they
(18:29):
were over plus two hundred or plus two twenty five
or two ten or something that we'd find there, I
think I'd be more inclined to look at.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
At them in this game.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
But I also know that North Dakota is really good,
and this Minnesota State team is still putting together what
it should be in the CCHA.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
They were operating for a number of years as.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
A huge Huger program, a much bigger program under Mike Hastings.
And now when Mike Castings leaves, you start to figure
out for Wisconsin, you're starting to figure out what can
this program be in the post Hastings era. So last
year aside second year, you're starting to put things a
little bit more together. This is a big This is
(19:11):
not as big a series as I would like it
to be later on in the year, but for right now,
it's one of those where you look at North Dakota
and I just agree. I think North Dakota's going to
win this. They might sweep the weekend, and that's now
disrespect to Minnesota State. Minnesota State is still building building,
but not against North Dakota right now.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Yeah, I didn't realize until I just happened to look
it up that the last time that they don't play
that often. The last time that Minnesota State the North
Dakota was in twenty nineteen.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
So we're going before COVID.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
We're going to the end the start of that long
COVID season that ended in March. But it hasn't been
an easy road for the Mavericks. And there was a
stretch there from the mid two thousand and eight area
or so till twenty thirteen the lost maybe nine or
ten in a row, which is a lot. But are
(20:08):
there reasons to look at Minnesota State. Maybe not with
my money, but there are reasons.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
And when you look at what Luke Strand did last
year with this team, he had them in the top
four in the CCCHA had them winning nearly twenty games.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
But there is a reboot that happens from a team that.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
Was number one and number two overall and making the
frozen fourth the way that Hasty was. And I'm not
disrespecting Luke Strand, Of'm not disrespecting Mikato.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Lord knows.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
I absolutely love that program, and I think when every
time I've come across them, I've walked out of that
wishing that I had gone there. Like the people there
from there are the nicest human beings on the planet,
and I love the program. I do think that in
the new era, watching what he builds, there is a
bit of a everybody who transferred last year, there's a
bit of a reboot that needs to happen within that
(20:56):
team that puts them on a bit of a different
plane right now. The North Dakota team that is cruising
altitude to start the season.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
And let's not forget that Lukestrand lost so much of
his team when Mike Eastings left and took a lot
of his best players with him to Wisconsin, so there'll
still be building a little bit there. I think they're
going to be a much better team this year. They're
going to be I would expect them to compete for
the top spot in the CCHA. To be honest with you,
(21:26):
all that said, still not put my money on them
this weekend. Again, I want to always put the disclaimer there,
none of us actually wager, but we have to talk
about it. I wouldn't put my money as many pizzas.
I yeah, you can't put, you can't put. This doesn't
feel like a comfortable place to place a bet mentioned
(21:47):
Mike Case things.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
We don't have them on the list, but Wisconsin is
hosting Ohio State and they need a big weekend, don't they.
Let's go on to the last on our list before
we get to our pizza money bet. Cloud State is
at ust Ice Arena to take on Michigan. The Huskies
are plus one forty five. The Wolverines are minus one
eighty eight. This one has an over under six and
(22:11):
a half.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
I respect the over under a lot because I think
it's gonna be right around that number. I don't know
when I said it, if it was on Weekend Review,
or if it was whatever podcast I said it, or
maybe it was just on the air on a broadcast
I did. I love Saint Cloud State. I think this
team is really really one of the better teams that
they've put in there. So you're gonna give me plus money.
(22:37):
I know they're on the road, but you're gonna give
me plus money on sant claud Apool, Sign me up.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
I'll take it. You actually said it to me on
the phone one time. We were a bit ed because
you did say to me.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
We were talking about something and you were like, man,
I love Saint Cloud and I was like, yeah, V too.
And it was not even anywhere that we were recording it.
And then I went back and I'm like, I loved Snake,
So I'm all in with them. I think they're gonna
be a pretty good team from start to finish, so
I'm buying on that. I do think the over is
probably gonna hit on this because it's a Western game,
and the Western games will love to be ice scoring
(23:11):
in these situations. So six and a half, sign me up,
you know, beat me up on this one.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
I'll take say Cloud in the over. Not much to
dispute on that one.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
Let's go to our pizza money bet, a Yukon which
just split a home and home home teams, winning each
time with Holy Cross last weekend. At BU. The Huskies
are plus two seventy, the Terriers are minus three seven,
and the over under a six.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
That is just.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Way too far of a disparity between the two lines.
It's not even close in my mind, Like I think
I would have expected this to be closer to plus
one eighty.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
What would that be on the other side of the
minus two.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Ten something like that. I don't know exactly what it
would have been. But this to see you kon it
lust two seventy. This is a good Yukon team. I
know that they have to figure out a lot, but
Tyler and Mussa coming in from UNH in goal that's
a former US national team development program goalie.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
When he played at UNH, he was good.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
He had some struggles, but he's older now and he's
more mature.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
I think he's got to be.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
One years old at this point and that maturity factor
should go a long way.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Is be you a really good team.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
They're a monster and I'm going to be able to
broadcast this game on NESTS on Friday night and I
look forward to it. I haven't talked to j Pandolpha yet.
I talked to Mike Kavanaugh a little bit today. I
just feel like there's a lot of confidence. Even though
they earned a split with Holy Cross last weekend.
Speaker 3 (24:50):
You can't get certain things going.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
If they get their special teams going, they can be
a real dangerous team. Don't forget We're just a couple
of years removed from the fact that you Yukon was
in the Hockey's Championship gamement loss in overtime, so they've
been close before. But this is it's just this is
a good test for Yukon early in the season with
(25:13):
the value. This is where the pizza money part comes in.
I don't mind if I was a gambler, I didn't
mind throwing twenty dollars forty dollars on something like this,
but the whole thing, he could more than triple your
money on a plus two seventy bad.
Speaker 4 (25:27):
My thing about Yukon and two years ago when they
were in the top ten, there was one intrepid voter
who was giving them a first place vote every now
and then.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
We will not mention his name, but you were.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
But let's just say that he sounds like a really
smart guy from around the Boston area and probably dashingly
good looking too, if I do say so myself.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
So he's not on the call like I said I did.
That was a softball, wasn't it. Ye? I knew I
didn't vote the number one.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
Ever, I had them a few years ago and it
was one of those a couple of years ago. I
should say it was one one of those situations where
I looked at you Conn and I looked at the
way they were playing at the time, and I think
I said, they're not going to be here at the
end of the season, but right now they are playing
better than anyone else in college hockey. And that was
probably late October to mid November. They were just rolling.
(26:17):
They were playing really good hockey, and I really feel
that way that they could be that team at any
point in time. When I looked at last year and
I looked at what they did last year, they were
a really good Saturday team. They lost to Union, came
back and one on Saturday, lost in Vermont, came back
one on Saturday Loston Merrimac, came back and won the
(26:38):
second game, lost to I think Maine, came back and
won the second game, lost to unh came back and
won the second game, and so on and so forth.
Same thing with Providence. They were a very good team
to rally behind. So if we're talking about pizza money
and we're talking about games that I wouldn't mind throwing
it on, I feel like Ukon is a lot has
(27:02):
that type of value to come out and maybe give
you one of these two games early in the season.
Later in the season when bu is at full speed, well,
then you get your six to one, six nothing dueling
losses that happened in February last year. So I'm not
of the belief that Yukon is as bad as the
(27:23):
odds would indicate. I think you can take them on
either night with the pizza money bet and win your
money back because I think this point in the season,
I think beginning of the year, like a couple of
years ago, they're going to be better. I don't think
they're going to be there at the end. I don't
think they're going to be a top three Hockey East team,
but they're capable of They showed last year they were capable.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Of beating teams. I think they could do it again.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
So would you recommend people holds off I'm betting on Friday,
and then maybe keep fifty bucks in their pocket for Saturday,
just knowing that if Yukon loses on Friday, they're going
to probably still at home and be a pretty favorable
underdog to take.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
I wouldn't mind that.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
Obviously we were not going to see the odds, but
I wouldn't mind also saying put in a lower money pizza,
bet a small pizza on Friday, and then if they lose,
you can try to roll it on Saturday and it
bet them on Saturday at.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Home and win that money back.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
So I'm buying a whole order of pizzas for three
people with my fifty dollars. Bet you'd rather just take
a small cheese each night, and that's how you'd rather buy?
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Yes, And now I'm ordering pizza tonight. Thanks Chiff Chili here,
thank you, I'll walk pizza now. Great.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
I guess I'll get a four dollars ninety seven store
brand frozen pizza and us for this.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
One, Mama's so not deliver it.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
With that, we're going to wrap up for this week
on usc cho Edge for Jim Connolly and Dan Rubin.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
I'm ed Tref's Girl'll catch you next week
