Speaker 2 (00:12):
Welcome to US Echo Edge for Friday, January tenth, twenty
twenty five. I'm Ed Trefsker alongside Jim Connolly and Dan Rubin.
Things are getting back into the swing of the hockey
season now that all the tournaments and everything are done,
so we're back into a whole bunch of league play.
We're gonna just do a couple of teams in the
first segment and then look at some more after the break.

(00:35):
But let's start out with U mass Lowell and Maine.
U mass Lowell has been really good this year after
having such a struggle last season. They host the Black Bears.
The over under on this game is five and a half.
Lowell is a home underdog at plus one thirty five
and Maine is minus one seventy five.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, I'm actually gonna start with the overrun on this one.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
These two teams have been playing games of late that
would all be hitting the under. A lot of three
two's for loll, A lot of two ones from me.
I don't like the over here, so I'll just start
with that part. In terms of the actual matchup, these
two teams have matched up pretty well of late. This

(01:21):
is not a historically close matchup. Maine has owned Loll
more than any other team actually in Hockey East. But
right now, these are basically the top two teams. You know,
BU Providence PC would argue that they also have seventeen
points in league play main eighteen.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
They have a one point.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Lead on LOLL in that other group you know right now,
I just look at both of these teams is playing
really well.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
It's almost to pick them.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
So the fact that you're getting value on LOLL, I
like thought of taking that whole ice underdog value. It's
not a ton it's not like it's a two twenty
or something like that. But I think at least in
the first night, there's some value to betting you mass Lowl.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Fun fun fact of the day, dating back to the
twenty twelve twenty thirteen season, I get played in the postseason.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
At Lowell and Ole swept that series.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Let's take a six starting with that series, how many
times do you think Maine has actually won an outright
game at songas since the since that series?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I remember for a lot of ties, I remember some
overtime loss.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I'm gonna say maybe none.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
One, Okay, one win at songis November fourth twenty seventeen.
It was a six two win and it came after
a three to two loss. Maine has a really hard
time with Lolls on that ice, and Lowell despite not
being great this year at home. I don't know what
it is about playing in a certain building. I've seen
this before where certain teams go to certain buildings and

(02:56):
they just don't play well. It's you see it when
teams go to Aramack or holy Cross and women's hockey
that they just go there and for whatever reason, certain
teams struggle in certain conditions. I really like Loll given
what Loll has done this year on the money line.
The other part of it is that we've already seen
what happens when Maine plays the style that Lowl plays.

(03:18):
Because not to keep rehashing it, I know I talked
about it, I think last week, but Maine lost to
Bentley that was a very similar style to what Lowell
plays that so I.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Think this game's going to hit the under.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
But I also can envision that strong defensive style built
from the back, the norm basin school, so to speak,
is going to lead Lole in this one, and truthfully,
that's what Hockey East is all about.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
At this point, right, You're.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Gonna see teams be able to go into buildings that
you're in and it's a pick them basically on paper
because it's a great matchup. So there's gonna be a
lot of that. I lean one way, but it's certainly not.
This is based on the odds. I don't like mad
minus one seventy five love Lowell as a home underdog.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, this is the two games.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
This is a two game series as well in Lowell,
So I do not expect a sweep of that two
game series. So I guess you've got to make the bet.
You're going to try to pick the team that on
Friday you think can come out in night one. I
tend to actually like road teams usually on the first
night and the home team to come back on night two.

(04:29):
I think that loll has some momentum coming in off
this Coachella Championship last weekend. I think that's a lot
of the reason I'm laning Lowell on the first night
as well.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
The other game in Hockey East that's on our docket
is UMass at Northeastern. It's a home and home series.
The first night at Matthew's Arena. The Huskies are coming
off a five to one road win at Quinnipiac, and
on this one, the over under five and a half.
Northeastern is minus one twenty at home, U Mass is

(05:05):
minus won ten, So basically a toss up.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Just having watched these teams, and I will admit you,
Mass is one of the few hockey's teams I haven't
seen live. I've only seen them on tape a few times.
I've seen Northeastern a number of times now. I actually
am surprised a little bit at this line. I think
they're giving a lot of credence to that five to
one victory for Northeastern against Quinnipiac, and maybe that is

(05:35):
a game that can turn things around for them, but
they have not been playing well to this point in
the season.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
That Quinnipiac game aside.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
You Mass, on the other hand, just is coming off
the most goals they've scored in the game this season.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Actually, technically Northeastern is as well.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I think they've never scored more than five, and that's
what they scored last Sunday. But U Mass eight last
week against Robert Morris? Is this you Mass team worthy
of airly being? They're actually technically they're the underdog in
what's really a pick the minus one twenty for Northeastern
minus one ten for U Mass. Is you should you

(06:12):
Mass be a road dog here? I don't think they should.
In terms of the over under five and a half.
Both teams are scoring lately. I don't know if I
I love that line either. I'd actually probably go the over,
and I don't like the way this line was set,
believe it or not, So if I was picking this,
i'd take U Mass in the over.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
I don't understand why U Mass isn't an outright favorite
in this game. That's where I don't think there's I
think there's plenty of value on you Mass. And it's
weird to say that in a toss up because I
would have expected them to have been closer to minus one
thirty five or something like that. U Mass is exceptionally
good on the road this year. They've actually been terrible

(06:53):
at home, So when you look at their record at
home versus playing on the road, they've been really bad
at home, but they've five two and one on the road,
and they're going into playing a team that, like you said,
has not played its best hockey, is not played great Hockey.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Now, that said, in Hockey.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
East being the league that it is, where I think
seven teams are in shouting range of the pairwise and
even the lower seeded teams are still in the hunt
as a result of that. But I do believe that
when we look at at the way the standings line
up in Hockey East, the way it's going to be
at the end of the season, the way all of
this kind of plays out, I can see this being

(07:31):
a bigger game for U mass which is still in
range of hitting some of those top four, top five spots.
So I do not like Northeastern in this matchup one bit,
and I don't really like them at home, maybe to
come out on Saturday and win back in Amherst. But
am I am very much on board with looking at

(07:52):
U Mass here, I'm not really sure how I'd go
on the over under on this one.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
At five and a half, I can see it.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
I can actually see this hitting the under, even though
the totals on Northeastern have not really been shading a
five and a half under lately. The anchorage seven goals
with it, p X six goals, Brown seven goals, So
I don't know that this is going to hit the under,
but I could see it hit in the under.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Well that's our look at Hockey East. We're going to
take a break and head out west for two Big
ten games and two in the NCCHC. When uscho edge continues,
we're back with usccho edge. We're going to start in Columbus,
Ohio Minnesota at Ohio State.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Ohio State sort of an upstart this year.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
They've taken a good nucleus and benefited very well from
the portal, both on the front end and the back end,
and they are hosting the high flying Gophers. Over under
on this one is five and a half. Ohio State
is a home underdog at plus one point fifty four
and Minnesota is minus two hundred.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Deadline's correct. I know, Dan, you loves the home dogs.
I can't really get behind Ohio State that much here.
This would be what I would leave alone. I have
Minnesota the way they've played of late. I just don't
see Minnesota finding a way to fail in this game
that this is.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
It's going to be a tough game. I don't think
it's going to be an easy one, and I think
it will.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Be as the over under suggests, as a somewhat low
scoring game, but I would still go with the over.
Five and a half is just too low for two
teams that can put pucks in the net. But I
just can't touch Ohio State here, and I like Ohio
State this year. I just Minnesota has proven it's worth

(09:41):
at this point and that minus two hundred is the
right line for them.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
I mean, you're right, I do love home dogs. I
also love home dogs that have that haven't lost this
year at home.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Ohio State's undefeated at home, and that to me earns
them a bit of weight. Now for what it's worth,
the home schedule has been unique for them this year
in a sense that they played at Michigan State for
two games, they played at Lindon Wood, and they played
at Princeton and really didn't play at home the entire
month of November.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
But I really like a team at home. The home
games that they've had.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
With Penn State and in Notre Dame, they were able
to hold the home ice, which I think is a
big part of it. Now that all of that said,
I also think that Hockey East, the Big Ten is
so good and some of these teams are so good
that here really look you're looking for an edge in
a game that's maybe a toss up. So that's where
I go with value, and I take the value on
Ohio State as a home underdog on the over underside.

(10:36):
You know probably know what I'm going to say here,
which is it's a Western League.

Speaker 5 (10:39):
Bet the over. Just bet the over.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Those games have a habit of just lying goals into
what was it a couple of years ago at the
NCCHC where they were averaging something like seven goals a game.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
And so I was like, all right, just bet the over.
You're going to hit the over more times than you know.
Plus you get to root for fun.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
So let's look at the other Big ten game we have,
and that's Michigan State at Penn State. The number one
Spartans get Trey Augustine back from the World Juniors, but
they didn't miss a beat while he was gone. This
one has the same money line as the one we
just looked at minus two hundred and four Michigan State
Penn State the home underdog at plus one fifty four

(11:19):
over under on this one, unsurprisingly, I think, is six
and a half.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, it's gonna be the same tune for me if
Michigan State has convinced me enough that I would not
bet against them here. All that said, I do wonder
what the World Junior Tournament maybe.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Physically took out of Trey Augusty.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
That's a lot of hockey, and I know he got
two days off in the actual gameplay, but he saw
a lot of action. So the emotion, the exhaustion, the fatigue,
bacon factor, and all that said. I've seen more players
come back from World Juniors and have second halves of
the season that a phenomenal many more times than I've

(12:00):
seen players come.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Back and have second halves that are horrible.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
So I would expect it to be a great second
half for Trey Augustine and many of the World Junior players,
to be honest with you, but I do get concerned
that first weekend coming back, there could be some fatigue.
So if you're gonna bet this one, have a little
bit of caution when you come. When it comes to
what to expect from Trey Augustine.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
I just worry the Penn States looking ahead to Canesius
next weekend. They're looking past Michigan State looking at Canesius
in the in Atlantic Hockey America they're gonna worry.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
About those giant killers.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Now, I agree, and I think my issue with Michigan
State in this game is again it boils down to
value for me, and I tend to look for home
underdob value in a sense that I think Penn State's
gonna play well at home.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
I think that I know they haven't won more.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
I think they're five hundred at home this year, but
I haven't looked at Michigan State at minus two hundred
and said, like, all right, that's enough for me to
want to just bet the bet that they lights on
Michigan State.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
There's more value on Penn State.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
And for that reason, and you mentioned it with Trey Augustine,
I don't love when a guy comes back for a
goalie and has to take a.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Couple of days off and then gets back into it.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
And I know, I had a chance to talk to
some BC guys this week from the from the Boston College, guys,
from the World Juniors, and they said, look, there is
a come down period, There is a there is an
emotional You got to relax, You go home for a
day whatever it is, and then for them and then
you go back to work. You got to get back
to work. I do worry that first game is going
to have some jet lag. It's going to have a
little bit of bus lag and getting back into it.

(13:35):
I think they're going to be fine. But there's enough
in the factoring that I like Penn State with the value.
I also like the over for reasons of which I've
already stated. This is probably just going to mash the over.
It's a big pen game. Keep doing that until I
keep doing that, until it happens more often than not,
and you blow your bag roll and.

Speaker 5 (13:53):
Keep doing it.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
As long as Guy Gadowski is the head coach of
Penn State, They're gonna shoot.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
They're not even shoot from the popcorn stands anymore. There's
shooting straight up from the I don't know. Let's be
on the from the ticket booth, locker, locker. Yeah, they
come out of locker with ten shots on goal.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
As long as it's not from the concourse because that's
outside the seating bull at Pegoula.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Let's go to the NCCHC.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Before I introduce this, I'm just going to say that
I think everybody has been underestimating Arizona State. That said
they host North Dakota over under on this game is
six and a half. North Dakota is minus one thirty five.
Arizona State a very slim home underdog at plus one
oh five.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
You said it, ed, you can't underestimate this Arizona State team.
They are better than we A lot of people gave
them credit for, including I know at least myself. When
they started struggling out of the gate, they said, I
have a bad year. To have a down year, too
bad going into the NCC.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
You're gonna get Wallack. Listen.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
They've come back and since the NCIGHTC part of their
schedule has begun, they have played for really good hockey.
I wouldn't bet against them at home that they're a
really good home team. They played very well inside Mullet
and North Dakota has shown me signs of late that
sometimes they're becoming a little bit better and more consistent,

(15:14):
maybe getting some players back.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
I know they had some injuries.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
So it's a good series, there's no doubt about that.
But I'm not betting against Arizona State in this one.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
I'm about betting against them either, and I think it's
because they're again, It's because they're at home and North
Dakota has it's I don't know what the right word
is about North Dakota.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
I look North Dakota six and two in the NCCHC.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
They're very good at home, they've been better than average,
better than five hundred on the road.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
They're a good team.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
There was a point a few weeks ago where I
didn't love North Dakota in my pull pull like, I
just didn't love where I was putting them. I didn't
feel that they were they captured a lot of what
I was looking for in terms of a team to
be ranked around twelve or thirteen, and I started placing
them a little further down fifteen sixteen, and debated dropping

(16:07):
them all together with the way some of the other
teams had been playing, and I just there's something about
that team that maybe I'll be wrong. Since it's starting
the second half and they've had the rest and they
had their exhibition and are coming back and everything that
goes with it.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
I just don't love North Dakota right now.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
And that's part of the reason why I see Arizona
State and plus one h five is not really a
quote unquote the best value, not getting it like you
did the plus one fifties. But I don't like North Dakota.
I think it's more than underestimating Arizona State. I just
don't like them to go into Arizona and win on Friday.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I was going to ask you guys a question that
may not apply this weekend. How much of a novelty
and being owed by the warm desert weather is it
for teams going into Tempe in Grand Forks? So they're
seeing lows of ten and highs in the low twenties
this week, but the cold snap down there in Arizona.
Highs in the low sixties and lows in the upper thirties.

(17:18):
Nice spring weather for Grand Forks, but maybe not the
seventies and eighties that some teams might see going in there.
But the general question, is this a part of the
home advantage for Arizona State that teams come in and
feel like they're on a vacation.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
And I just talked to UMass Lowell's coach, Norman Bezan
yesterday and he was talking about the going out to
Palm Desert last week and playing in the Coachella Tournament,
and he said the whole atmosphere was a massive distraction.
He actually compared it to the distraction of a frozen four.

(17:57):
There's just everywhere you turned is something to take your
mind off hockey. And yes, maybe it's not red carpet
entrances and media, press conferences and interviews with ESPN like
it is in a frozen four. Here it's really warm weather.
It's pools, it's girls and bikinis. It's everything that you

(18:18):
can have that's distracting.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
So maybe not.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Being eighty will be a good thing for North Dakota,
but still the warm weather will be distracting. You'll have
players out there in short sleeves and feeling like it's
April and not January. Yeah, I think there is something
to that, Ed. I think it's a really good point.
It becomes we always say it. Arizona State is a

(18:41):
big enough home ice advantage as it is that arena.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Even when they were back at Ocean Side.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Those arenas that they've built out there or played in
out there really give a great home ice advantage. So
you add to that when you put the temperature in
and all of that stuff and the distraction of pool
and stuff like that, it's almost like the coaches need
to keep their players at the crappiest hotel in town
with no swimming pool and not near any of the

(19:09):
bar district in restaurant district.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
All saying is.

Speaker 4 (19:13):
That I'm glad now that I live in New England
where we've had five degree win chills this week and
like I was help like getting wind burned at the
Grill'm so now I'm happy. It's my hockey teams are
going to do very well because we're frozen, frigid and miserable.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
I was going to say we picked the wrong places
to broadcast, but anyway, one more game and that's in
the NCCHC. But it's also our pizza money game, and
that's the game where the odds are so crazy that
maybe you throw twenty bucks you would have spent on
a pizza at the game for fun Boy. I don't
even know what to say about this one. It's Miami

(19:48):
at Denver. We know it's a rebuilding year for Miami
and they've been having a tough go of it. Over
under a six and a half. Miami is the underdog
at plus six fifty and Unver the favorite at minus
eleven fifty one and fifty.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
I don't think we've seen a number like that all season.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
We certainly not this season. I don't really remember seeing
it ever. I'm just pulling up history on this series,
and that is what is really I think swaying this line.
The last time that Miami won a game against Denver
was you have to go all the way.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Back to.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
This would be twenty twenty twenty one season, and this
was played in the bubble, the NCIGHTC Bubble. That was
a three to nothing win after a five to one
loss the night before. Since then, the losses, I'm going
to read these all off because there's some real lopsiding
numbers in here. These are all wins for Denver except
for one time for to one win, seven to one win,

(20:54):
five to four overtime win, four to two win, four
two wins, seven nothing wins, seven nothing wins, six two wins,
seven to wins, seven I'm sorry, three to three tie,
eight one win for Denver. Miami has been getting walloped
by this team. You guys could each send me your

(21:16):
pizza money and I will go and buy a lot
of pizza. I could not, in good conscience bet Miami,
no matter what the odds are right here, there's nothing
that says to me that they have a chance in
this game. Yes, I get it. Any given Sunday in football,
any given Friday in college hockey, I get it. But

(21:38):
sometimes you just go buy pizza to.

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Give me an idea. If you're what are we going
with here? What's a cheap pizza worth these days?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Fifteen fifteen bucks for fifth thereabouts fifteen dollars out of pizza.
If you bet Miami, you will win ninety seven fifty
cents and receive in your bank account one hundred twelve
dollars and fifty cents if Miami wins. If Denver, if
you were to put the same fifteen dollars on Denver,

(22:07):
you would get in let's see, I'm gonna plug this
in here, you would get on a fifteen dollars bet
paid out sixteen dollars and thirty cents.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
You would bet fifteen and win a dollar thirty.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
Do not bet this game unless you really want to
root for Miami. Now here's the thing, right, Miami did
take Denver last year to and over to a shootout.
I know that you mentioned the tie, so that to
me is that to me is one of those things like,
all right, I wanted to go back and look at the.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
Box score with my computer froze.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
But I was gonna say, like, all right, let's see
what kind of context that game got them there before
the eight to one, it was a three to three game.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Now that's finally starting a load on me in real time.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
And Miami scored two third period goals to come from
behind and force overtime. So what does that tell me?
On a Friday game, anything is possible? And I am saying,
if you don't mind, if you need to not buy
pizza because you need to watch your weight like me,
then you know what, let it ride. You can walk
out of this with seventy dollars and seventy something dollars

(23:12):
and you know how much pizza you can get with that?
A lot of pizza. Let's just say that is enough
pizza to keep you going for a couple of weeks.
And it's fun to root for the underdog. I say,
roll with it. Why not, It's worth it. I don't
know what to say beyond that.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
Of course, that one win during the bubble year was
it down year for Denver? And then I know there
are a handful of people out there saying what about UNLV?
And I realized for those ACCHA fans that that shootout
victory quote unquote was for them like the Super Bowl,
the World Series, the Daytona five hundred, the Stanley Cup

(23:46):
and RPI's Big Red freak Out all rolled into one.
But does is there anything you get from that any
given sun?

Speaker 4 (23:54):
But I said it last week no, And I wrote
it in TMQ this week with Paul Weston, and I'll
say it again.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
Stop if anyone's gonna start talking about UNLV. Stop.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
It was an exhibition. I think everybody played. The equipment
manager might have been in there because because Denver needed
a couple of bodies with the World Juniors and whatnot. Stop, No,
don't do it. Just don't do that to yourself. Don't
don't talk yourself into that game. It's it's not worth it.
Don't get me wrong. I want UNLV to come to
Division one, and I hope that the exhibition win tells

(24:27):
them to do it. I think it would be a
lot of fun to have UNLV joining Division one.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
I think it would be great for all of us.
But just don't.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
There's six seven years ago I remember a story on
UNLV why they should come to college hockey. Listen, it
hasn't happened in six to seven years since that story.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
I don't really see it happening. Maybe this is a
little bit of something to excite them. I love the
fact that they.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Played these games against Colorado College, and Denver, by the way,
lost eight nothing the next night to Colorado College. So
let's put some perspective around everything. They might have just
gotten blown away by the wrong team. But listen, that
takes nothing away from Denver. Come on, this is Denver.
We just saw Denver go to Orano on ESPN last

(25:11):
Friday night and beat the main Black Bears in a
building that Maine does not typically lose.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
So I don't worry about Denver. No worry at.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
All, No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
By the way, we didn't mention the three and a
half huck line on this game.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
That's right, that's almost like what the over under usually is.
We have over unders at five. Sometimes three and a
half is the puck line.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
So if you think that Denver will win by more
than three and a half goals, so four or more,
you can bet them. You can bet that and you
would get odds of plus one twenty four.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
So that's actually a great value.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
If you think that you're going to have a seven
to one eight to one outcome like you.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Did last year.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Last part on this is that normally we say, okay,
take the team with the worst odds. Take if Denver
was at like minus seven hundred or minus five hundred,
and say pair them with someone to even out the
odds and make a parlay out of it and just
bring the odds back.

Speaker 5 (26:09):
A bit on Denver.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
It won't work in this like you need to you
need to have a five leg parlay or something like
that to make Denver worthwhile. But I could imagine doing
a parlay involving the puck line, because three and a
half is I know that three and a half minus
three and a half is an underdog status there, like
it's the plus one twenty four, one twenty five or
whatever you're gonna get. But I could see, you know,

(26:30):
a four to one by five to one, that balancing,
that figuring out where it is. And that's where I
would maybe move into a parlay with If call me
crazy here, and I am going to be absolutely psychotic,
I wouldn't mind pairing plus three and a three and
a half with an Ohio.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
State or a Penn state money line.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
It's insane, But I would rather do that than have
to bet the money line if you're going to do
something crazy.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Yeah, the three and a half pop c line here
is just it's so lopsided that it's never worthy of
a bet.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
No, but it's that's part of that. I'd make that
almost the pizza money.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
Yeah, that's something we can get into ways, teas and
all that sort of stuff. The technicalities there, there's some
things you could probably do to get odds that somewhere
are in between that plus one twenty four and minus
eleven fifty or whatever it just was, but we're not
going to get there. I just stay away from this game.

(27:32):
It's a cute one to talk about, but just stay away, guys.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
I look forward to texting you guys.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
We're going to wrap it up there as we have
completed our allotment of time for Jim Connolly, for the
Crazy and Psychotic Dan Rubin, I'm Ed Trebsker and this
has been usc cho edge
