Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, this certainly wasn't on my Bengal card for Today.
But on the Today Show, Denzel Washington was talking about
his recent film Gladiator Too, and he dropped some major
bombs about Black Panther three. Yeah, check it out. After that,
Ryan Coogle is writing a part for me in the
next Black Panther. It's kind of crazy that he would
just drop this type of information so casually on the interview.

(00:21):
But maybe the Disney snipers are really a good shot
when it comes to Denzel this, so maybe he's immune
to all the Disney spoiler crap. But really, we got
an SDCC level spoiler drop mega hit here. I mean,
we knew Black Panther three was coming. We all kind
of assumed it was gonna come and assumed that Ryan
Coogler was gonna be behind it. But now we know

(00:42):
both it's true, and we also know that Denzel Washington
has been tapped to play a character or he's being
written as a character. So let the speculation begin now.
The way he said it made it seem like maybe
Ryan could have just been riding in a little bit
rolled or a side roll for him, just as a
favor because he likes Denzel and maybe Denzel wants to

(01:03):
be a part. But I can't really see Disney Marvel
getting their hands on such a prominent major face in
Hollywood and not using him to his fullest capacity. Well
maybe not his fullest capacity, but at least giving him
a big role in bringing in people from all over
the place by sticking his face on a posta and
making them an actual character. With everything we know going

(01:23):
on with Black Panther, I mean, we technically don't have
a Black Panther taking up the mantle at this time.
I'm highly doubt that they would give him the role
as Black Panther, but let's speculate about maybe who he
possibly could be now. Noah, Ryan Coogler, he has a
knat for just throwing in characters and figuring it out
and kind of altering them in certain ways that makes
everything work, but not too much so you still stay

(01:44):
true to some of the source material. He could play
a character like the American Panther. Giving everything that's happening
in Brave New World. Maybe something in the US is
going on and he has to take on whoever the
current Black Panther is at the time on US soil.
It has to do with em mcgray's and things like
that that it seemed like Marvel are getting into again.
But I don't know if Denzel will take on such

(02:05):
a physical role at this point. And like we said,
we don't know who's playing Black Panther, so I don't
know if they would match up in that way. It
would be cool to see, but who really knows. They
might give him more of a laid back, kind of
higher up, more cerebral role, like a chibi, the priest
that's in the Black Panther comics. He can kind of
be like this guy he don't really fight physically, but

(02:26):
he can be a huge problem in it. He can
have minions and cronies here and there that seems like
they would fit Denzel, especially from the trailers of the
new Gladiator film, which I am gonna go check out,
and it looks like that would be a good role
for him. And then there's characters who are in between,
like Tattu, who would probably be a decent fit that way.
He can do a little bit of physical things but
not being rely on it too much. And there's always

(02:47):
a rebellion going on a Waconda at this point right
especially after the last film we don't know what's really
happening with all that. We don't know. If Aymor's popping
up here, you'll probably pop up in dues there somewhere. Oh,
I'm just sitting back, relaxing and watch what happens. Or
could he be making a surprise cameo appearance as Adam Beshier,
also known as the Blue Marvel. Of course, there's always

(03:09):
one possibility, which I really don't like and I don't
even want to say, but there is a small chance
he could just write him in as a little bit role,
as some type of variant to Chichaka or T'Challa, which
would really suck because I'm hired of the multiverse stuff. Like,
I'm just I hope it's over. I don't I don't
want to see no more hate it. I'm ready to
go Doug done. Multiverse is madness and I'm over the madness.

(03:31):
But anyway, besides that, he could be just a random
leader somewhere, maybe a tribal guy or some type of
room just counselman somewhere, which would suck, but it's good
to see him in the film. Overall, it kind of
hurts that we won't get to see him in Chadwick
on screen. That's a huge bummer, but you know, it's

(03:51):
good to see Denzel taking on a role in the MCU.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to more
information and the way this guy just drops these spoilers,
We're in for a wild show. Hopefully he's not just
trolling us, or they don't cut him out because of
this that I'll put him on like a Tom Holland
gag order. I don't know, what do you guys think
of the comments. I'm sure there's many roles that he

(04:11):
can play. I'm sure you guys have so many ideas.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
How do you feel about them just dropping this super
news like that? And you think Disney's gonna have to
say something at this point or they're just gonna act
like this didn't happen. I don't know. Anyway, Thanks for watching,
See you guys later.
