I had the chance to catch the leaked powerpuff girls trailer and man was it something. Not sure what happened to make the CW completely drop the show but it may have been a good choice although i admit i would have gave it a shot. What do you think?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
So if you haven't heard, the trailer for the CW's
Powerpuff Girls show was leaked online and it was quickly
pulled over most platforms that you can find it on.
But luckily or unluckily you'll find out in a minute,
I did get a chance to view it, and here
on my thoughts. The trailer actually started off pretty cool.
We had Donald Faison from Scrubs as the Doctor. Wouldn't

(00:21):
be my first choice, not exactly cartoon actorate, but I
guess they had to CW things up, so hey, he's
a great actor. We'll let that one go for now.
We get to see Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles. Everything looks
powerpuff girlish. We got Chloe Bennett from Agents of Shields.
She played Sky. I think she's wonderful and a wonderful actress,

(00:41):
so I kind of had high hopes there. I wanted
to see her take on things and how they went
with this. I mean, it can be that bad, right right? Wrong? Man?
Did this tiller go downhill? Quick? Mojo and Jojo. You
took an iconic, memorable, noticeable character monkey giant brain, can't

(01:02):
get that wrong, legendary and you turn them into a
father and son Politician team. I guess they ce w
the heck out of them. I mean, look at this,
Look at this, look at this. I don't even want
to begin to think of what they were gonna do
with the character him. Yeah, that's just a nightmare waiting

(01:24):
to happen. The trailer goes on the should the girls
getting older and sort of rebellious. Bubbles is drinking. All
this leads them to eventually unliving Mojo. Yeah, they unlive
Mojo and go off into their own depressed adventures. Life
split apart, no more pop up girls. Blossom just seems

(01:45):
like she kind of disappears, Buttercup becomes a firefighter, which
that story choice. I'm not too upset about that kind
of fits if you ask me. But Bubbles, oh, man, Bubbles,
what did they do to you? I don't know what
the exact audience was that they were going for here.
The show did look very bright, but man, did they
take the sweetest powerpuff girl and make her do a
complete one eighty Bubbles became an alcoholic, degenerate street walker.

(02:12):
To say the least, honestly, it seemed like a weird
sort of parody of something they would do for like
a sketch comedy show or something. But this is coming
from a guy who sat through three seasons of Riverdale,
so I didn't have high expectations anyway, part of me
kind of wish this show was actually released, just to
see where were they going with this and what kind

(02:34):
of horror did they have in store for us for
season two? Like seriously, But my final conclusion, I can
say it did look like it might have had some
entertaining and memorable moments. It did have a powerpuffy girl
color theme to it, which I can give them credit
for that. I'm not really crying that it's not released.
If it was released, i'd probably just check it out

(02:55):
just to punish myself and see what they were going
to do. Since they hold it from everything, I don't
know if they ever do plan to release anything. I
don't know how far along the series was, But like
I said, I'm not too mad that this thing wasn't released.
The Powerpuff Girls still have a chance to live in
live action, and no one has to live with di
stain in their mind. And that's all I gotta say

(03:18):
about that. What do you guys think if you've seen
the trailer, If you didn't see the trailer with the
things you heard about it. How do you guys feel
about it? Do you wish this was released? Let me
know down in the comments, and I like and subscribe,
so yeah,
