world of video game adaptations. While they often get a
bad rap, some films truly capture the essence of the
games we love. For this list, we won't be using
any completely animated films, such as the latest Super Mario,
but a mix of real life humans and CGI characters
are allowed. Here are our picks for the ten best
live action video game movie adaptations. Let's play number ten.

in twenty eighteen. This Monster Mayhem film stars Dwayne the
Rock Johnson and features giant features wreaking havoc. While it's
more of a fun ride rather than the faithful adaptation,

much more can we ask for? That's gonna say the world? Nine.

of us with this charming humor. Ben Schwarz Voice is Sonic,
delivering a blend of nostalgic and modern front that appeals
to both kids and adults alike. This movie pulled itself
out of disaster when the studio made the brilliant decision
to listen to fans about the horrible Sonic design shown
in their original trailer. After a retool, we got a

Sonic film fans could be proud of, and we all
ran to see it again and again. Number six Resident
Evil Apocalypse at number six, It's Resident Evil Apocalypse. This
sequel is something action and horror elements of the franchise.
While it strays from the games a lot, it captures
the survival horror vibe and features iconic characters fans love.

Apocalypse manage to keep the horror intact and give us
a great on screen rendition of Nemesis, which is what
we really all wanted, wasn't it? Number five Warcraft Warcraft

the expansive law of the Warcraft universe. While it faced
mixed reviews, diehard fans appreciated the stunning visuals and the

the universe and it introduces us to fan favorite characters

on the horizon, this is shaping up to be the

best one ever? Where are My Manners? Number two Detective Pikachu.
You did have to be a super stoop to figure
out the Detective Pikachu belonged on this list. This twenty
nineteen film offers a unique blend of mystery and comedy.
With Ryan Reynolds voice in Pikachu, the film captures the

whimsy of the Pokemon world and is a treat for fans,
combining nostalgia with the fresh storyline. It was a bold
move making the first live action Pokemon adaptation based on
Detective Pikachu instead of the main line games, but it
paid off big, shocking fans worldwide. Get it shocking because Pikachu.
Yeah anyway. Honorable mention Uncharted, starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake.

A hunting franchise to the big screen with the mix
of humor, action, and adventure that feels true to its
gaming roots, even though it's strayed pretty far away in
some other aspects. Holy Young for Barton, Laun't You a
Little Old? For prom number one, Mortal Kombat nineteen ninety five,
and finally at number one, we had the cult classic

riddled new version, but the og. Despite its cheesy dialogue
and special effects, it remains a fan favorite for our
kind of characters and me amorable fight scenes. It embodies
