Det hele foregik digitalt, og den beslutning udsprang nok mere af Corona restriktioner end af klima ansvarlighed. Ikke desto mindre kan digital teknologi måske bruges som et af værktøjerne til at bevæge modebranchen i en grønnere retning.
Vi talte i sidste uge om Technology Fix - troen på at teknologi kan løse ethvert problem, og det kan måske lugte af samme tendens når en app sætter sig for at løse modeindustriens klimaproblemer, som man kan sige er forsøget med app’en der hedder Good on You. Det er ikke den første app, med dette formål, der har været flere andre, men Good on you er et ambitiøst forsøg på overskuelig bæredygtigheds-vurdering af modebrands fra hele verden.
App’en gør det muligt at søge på et bestemt brand og få en bedømmelse mellem 1 og 5 stjerner, og information om hvor etisk virksomheden er på en række områder.
Marie Høst taler med Gordon Renouf, som er CEO i Good on You - en australsk start-up, der lancerede app’en i 2015, og som rullede ud i USA i 2017 og i Europa i 2018.
Derudover taler Marie Høst med Frederik Larsen, co-founder i In Futurum som rådgiver inden for bæredygtig omstilling - specielt i modebranchen.
