a degree in psychology and a heart for healing, she's

Oh? I am great and just so happy to be
with you and your listeners.

Hey, we are excited as well to have you here
with us this evening. Again, welcome to the show, Marty.
Before we just really dive into every thing what's been
on your heart and mind lately as you continue walking
out the spiritual insights that begin in that quiet season
of your life.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Oh, all of the interesting things that are taking place
before us today. I had a dream just not long
ago involving a person trying to put a silver helmet
(04:35):
on my son and myself, which in the dream, I
was very upset, and later as I tried to research
and really discern the information, I think in my heart
(04:57):
that it was telling me about being aware of things
coming of things that you know now we talk about
in the future, possible silks in the brain. But it
was such a powerful symbol that I just had this
(05:18):
fear of its being placed upon my head. And it
was in these years of researching symbols, I was very
concerned after I awoke that it made me think of
(05:40):
some of the future things that are happening and how
far they could possibly go. You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Yeah, that chip thing is here, yes, and it just
my dream.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Caution was given to me was just take care. I
guess that's the good advice that I to give people.
Is in anything, really tread lightly and be careful.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, in other words, don't do it.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Yes, Yes, I have to say that I really the
mind that I have. I think I'm going to keep it.
I think I'm going to let it be mine and
share it with people, but it's going to belong to me.
I hope others feel that way, because you know, interestingly
(06:46):
enough that a lot of times will forget how the
enemy or Satan we'll try and come for our mind.
Speaker 7 (06:57):
You know, we think of all the bulls.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
And the sins and these ten commandments, but a lot
of mind have been actually trying to attack my mind.
So I highly cast some people to care for their
mind and to know that Satan is not just after
(07:23):
the heart, but he wants your mind.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Indeed, indeed, indeed that's his playground. He can't do anything
else physically, but if he can get in our minds oh,
we can create some things.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
He can been there through the years know exactly how
he can play the mind games with us, you know,
and have us believe, well, believe that we're actually you know,
you think of Paul how he was in the Bible.
He was so sure, you know, he was on the
(08:01):
right path, and he was very diligent in his purpose,
you know. So it you know, we can sometimes you
know in life where we go up maybe down the
wrong path and need to kind of be awaken to
(08:22):
see that, you know, maybe this is not exactly the
route we should take, and life shows us that.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
You know, mm hmm, it does. So, like you, I
grew up in church, and an even step further, my
father still is an evangelist and acting pastor. Yeah, but Marty,
what I learned is that my father couldn't. As I
(08:52):
got older, I learned that my father couldn't live out
my salvation, that I had to have that for myself.
And you grew up in church, but in twenty twenty
something shifted. What made that season feel so different spiritually
versus anything you've ever experienced growing up?
Speaker 7 (09:11):
Oh, that's a great question.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Growing up in churchs and I minored in history, and
so much of my time in churts, I felt as
it was history, you know, hearing the beautiful stories, but
they were history.
Speaker 7 (09:34):
Lessons to me.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
And I just felt something missing. And I knew that
I loved going, I loved charts, but I knew something,
and I began to try to seek God.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
And of course in the Bible it says seek.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Him and He will come to you. And I was
very fortunate that in late December, a few days before
New Year's in twenty nineteen, right in twenty twenty, I
had the most incredible dream that I was assisting a
(10:20):
physician in an operating room. The patient was doing great,
and at the end of the operation, the physician turned
to me, and as he hugs me, he snails my hair.
(10:44):
Now the listeners this maying unusual. But I felt such
comfort in my dream and such love that I knew
who had visited me. In that dream, I knew exactly
who was there. And as we read that God can
(11:08):
perceive smell and their aroma, it's mentioned over forty times
in the Bible that I knew who was there and
it I woke up that morning and took a pen
and a notebook and wrote. I wrote it down, and
that started my journey. And right now as we talk, Vinnie,
(11:33):
I'm getting a chill bunce. I mean, just it was
just the incredible moment that I knew he was coming
to me. Because I think all of us want a
relationship with God, you know, our own relationship that we see.
(11:54):
As you said, with like with your dad, we have
to find our own salvation and with the me.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
I wanted a close relationship.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
I wanted to know him and what it would be
like to feel this love. You know. That's why I
called the book Grasping for Spiritual Sight. I knew there
was more than just the eyes to see with. I
needed to seek him inwardly.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
You know spiritually.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, that the personal relationship with God. I was talking
with someone and this is before I had my relationship,
and I was like, wow, I wish I could, you know,
I wish I could hear from God. You know, you
hear these things and you're able to prophesy, You're able
to tell these wonderful things that God is telling you.
(12:53):
But God never talks to me. I said, how is that?
And he was like, well, who's your favorite celebrity? And
I told him. He's like, name ten things about the celebrity.
So I did. It's okay, name ten things about God.
And you know I could do five, but that was
about it. I was like, well, you don't know God, Dan,
(13:16):
I said, well, how do I know God? You have
to read the Bible, you have to pray. How do
you get close to someone spending time with him, talking
to him? And that's how relationships start.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Right right? Oh?
Speaker 7 (13:28):
That was That's lovely.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
That was a wonderful story because that's literally where I started.
I mean just from the very moment I got that dream.
I would get up in the morning, put on praise
and worsip music.
Speaker 7 (13:46):
I would open up the Bible.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
I just began to make it a true mission to
find him. If I could find him at all, I
was going to you know what I mean, like, if
he was there for me, I was going to give
it everything I had to find it to find him.
Speaker 7 (14:06):
And he did not disappoint me at all.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
At all. No, he never does, you know. It just
it literally blows your mind when you see and some
of the dreams that were shown me. They you know,
you think about people that will tell you well, in fact,
(14:34):
we go back to church or just people that will
attend services, you know, and I talk with them about
this and they will say, well, you know, miracles were
for a specific time, and you know, I'm I know it,
and I'm just so confused because I thought miracles are
here aroumped us every day. You know, we don't want
(14:58):
to put God in this little book and keep him there.
You know, He's mighty, He's moving, and it just it's
so sad. We need to hear the some of the
themi I mean to hear some of the believers who
(15:18):
have kept God in such a very small level that
I think we need to come together, all of us
that God needs us now, don't you think more than ever?
Speaker 7 (15:36):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Oh, yeah, more than ever. Right now the line is
clearly drawn in the sand.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
Yes, that's exactly it is drawn. Yes, and yeah, he
wants us to stand at that line and stand firm.
And if we can remove names on building, just think
of all of us coming together, how much we could
(16:06):
accomplish for him. You know if we just got rid
of labels, man's ideas and just came to God, and
the numbers would just astound us, wasn't they of what
all we could do for people and for His word?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yes? How did you know it was time to start
writing it all down?
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Well? I started after that dream.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
I did start.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
I started right then, and it was they came fairly regularly.
Some dreams would just be comfort dreams, very.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
Personal to me.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
And you know, I wrote, I guess I have written
over three hundred dreams and journals and I did this
for two years. So the dreams in the book, I
tried to have them to be significant, to show validation
(17:22):
of what God tend do, and then to show people
there is a prophetic word being spoken. Prophets are still here,
they're being they're receiving messages. And then to let people
see the love of God and that was all of
(17:43):
the purpose of the book. The dreams continued to come,
as I said, for over two years, and then I
knew then my purpose that I had to share them.
I mean, I felt compelled to share, to share them, you.
Speaker 7 (18:05):
Know, like kind of you know, you need to do something.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Well, that was what was being said to me, was.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
Get this out.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
So I began to try to compose it in a book.
And it took a while because I had a lot
of material, a lot of material, but I tried to
pick the most significant ones that I felt people could
really learn from and maybe think of their own spirituality
(18:43):
and what do they truly believe?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, you mentioned that you've written three hundred of these
dreams in your dream journal. What was the first dream
that made you stop to say, this means something.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
Oh, I am looking right now to see them looking
through the book.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
There was one that was so powerful. Each of them
had their own significance to me, but there was one
in particular that started out where I was sitting, I
(19:31):
guess in the doctor's office or just in an office,
maybe a university.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
I think it was a university, that's right.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
And magazines at that time were around, you know.
Speaker 7 (19:46):
Now that's nothing we see much anymore.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
But I had a magazine in my lap and this
I turned the page in the magazine to an adver
cousinent of of all things, of beautiful bed linens.
Speaker 7 (20:06):
They were.
Speaker 5 (20:08):
Curtains and blanket and pillows, and I thought, what a
lovely picture. You know, it was just it was just beautiful,
like what a decorator would design. And then behind my
side and the back, I assumed it was the.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
Professor, but it was symbolic of God.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
This hand, which was much larger than you know, your
hand or my hand, pointed with his main pointing finger
at that picture and continued to point at it like
(20:59):
look he And I was so confused. I kept thinking,
what am I? What am I missing? What is in
this picture? And the hand stayed there for some time,
and then of.
Speaker 7 (21:16):
Course the person left.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
But upon research I found such significant information that a
bedroom and a dream or a vision. Uh. The notes
h wrist and it denotes covenant, that your God keeps
(21:42):
covenant and a steadfast love and will keep his commandments
to a thousand generations. And I know after studying this
that one other different research symbol says a large and
says you have been chosen to carry out an important
(22:06):
task that will become very clear to you in the future.
And that's when I knew.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
I thought, this is it, this is this is real.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
I'm not you know, he's not playing around, you know,
He's telling me.
Speaker 7 (22:22):
Exactly what I'm supposed to do.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
And that was such an incredible dream when when I
thought I was just looking at a magazine, but then
when you dissect it, it was so powerful.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
The message was, so how did you begin decode and
the symbols in your dream?
Speaker 5 (22:44):
I began looking at spiritual books, like there were two
that I really thought provided a lot of information, and
one of them was by also Man and the other
one by Florence Saul. And there were some other things
(23:06):
I looked through, but these two were very religious oriented.
Everything was very spiritual, and it connected with my soul inside.
When I could read what they had been studying, it
(23:27):
seemed to sing to me, you know, resonate with me.
So I use those two as the main resources for
my dreams.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
So you have a background in education, social work and
hospital outreach. I believe now more than ever, there are
a lot of souls that are in need of hospice outreach.
Or hospital outreach spiritually speaking, and you've seen the systems
(24:09):
mental health, education, family support. Where do you see the
biggest need for spiritual care today?
Speaker 5 (24:18):
Oh, that's what a strong question. I think we have
to go back to the very beginning exactly of what
Jesus has said, and that is served, and that is
what we are to do, is to serve people.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
There.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
I live in a very small area. The numbers are
growing and growing, people homeless, people needing food, bringing their
children out now with the which is new for our area,
to bring the little ones, the babies, to come as
they beg and I just think it all boils down
(25:02):
to what Christ had told us to do, is to
serve them.
Speaker 7 (25:08):
And there's so many ways we can.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
I think if we come, if we stand firm, we pray,
we praise.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
God, I think he will show us.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
I think he will show us some things that we
can do.
Speaker 7 (25:25):
But to me, it's still all about serving.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
You know, Jesus wants defeat of the disciple.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
I think it's for us to become humble and begin
again just back to.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
What we know works, and that's to share with one
another's kindness, to begin with that and to work with
purpose and meaning to our life. And what I'm trying
to do right now with this book is bring awareness
(26:05):
and help to have people think about what are some
of the things they could be doing or just even
in their minds thinking of things like road rades, things
that years ago were never even thought of, that we
(26:26):
could come back to this life that's not in complete
chaos right now, which I feel like it is the enemy.
We know that he's going to fight with all that
he has. The great wonderful thing is the last dream
in my book that I have that is my favorite
(26:50):
dream is the one where I actually seek Christ coming
into the Colisseum and fighting the battle to win. And
it was just a magnificent dream. We do know that
he wins. It was just more validation for me to
see it in my dreams.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, so let's talk about the book center theme, spiritual sight.
What does it mean to you now about the rightness?
Speaker 5 (27:28):
It has opened up what I hoped that it would do.
God came to me and has shown me things, some
very personal that I have kept to myself, messages that
I needed to hear a personally that.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
Have made me a much stronger Christian. And believe.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
You know you can go to church, but does that
make you that person that you truly want to be?
And I wanted to be all in. I wanted to
be in love with Christ. I wanted to follow in
and I wanted to know him. And it's available to
(28:25):
anybody if you open the word. He may send you
a whisper, but he will.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
Send you something.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
It will He will definitely contact and try to reach
the people who are actively trying to find him. It
will just happen. It may take you, you know, it
may take you months, but you just stay with it
(28:55):
and He's going to appear and he will give you
glimpses of things that you just well, I must be
honest to you. There were many nights that I did
not want to wake up. I did not I would
have gone with him, you know, just that magical moments
(29:16):
that are just well, I can't really explain it even
with words, but I would have gone.
Speaker 7 (29:22):
I mean, if I had died right then, I would.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Have been a happy, happy person. They were just magnificent,
very hard to describe. I tried the best I could
with words, but you know, sometimes words aren't enough, you know,
the But it has been a beautiful journey. I hope
(29:46):
your listeners will try their best to think what would
they like to get from knowing God more, because I
will promise you and all of your listeners.
Speaker 7 (30:02):
That it's worth it.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
The pain, the scars I have, the near death experiences
that I have there, they're worth it. All you want,
I mean, you won't return, You'll you won't go back.
You can't. I mean, it's just it doesn't even enter
your mind to go back. And it's like you're in
(30:25):
love with God, you know, the special relationship that you
want with him, and you just don't want to go
back to the world.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
That's right. You have those moments where you're feels like
you're walking on a mountain with God. It's like, oh man,
I have to come down and do earthly things.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Exactly. Oh, I know it. And that's why when I
told you like some of these I was actually on
a mountain with him, and you're right, I mean, right
then you'd be like, Okay, let's go on up further.
I mean, you know you're ready at that moment, and
it's it's wonderful to know that something is waiting for us.
(31:14):
That's you know, that's better than here, you know what
I mean? We know that, yeah, and we have to
hang on to that. We have to put on our
full armor of God. We have to be prepared because
(31:34):
Satan is really running rampant. I don't know if you've
heard many people but say that, but this is the
end times, This truly is. Things are worsening and God
is moving and I do believe that He's going to
show us some incredible things.
Speaker 7 (31:58):
And I don't think we're going to be for are
away from.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
Them at all and time wise, but there's gonna be
some wonderful things that people will see God's glory.
Speaker 7 (32:11):
It's just getting really bad.
Speaker 5 (32:16):
You know. The enemy is just yeah, he's really trying
to destroy, you know, destroy the people, and he hits
hard with the Christians. He hits hard with us who
believe it. Yeah, you've just got to be strong.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
That's right. And you know he's no longer hiding his
deeds and his people and what he's doing. It's as
plain as day, like it's nothing. And that's the part
that is the telltale sign that there is a line
in the sand. You better choose your sign.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
No, yes, that's good points choose it right now, right
now today.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
Choose it.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Yeah, And stand there and stand firm. You know, we
don't physically fight, but we can fight with prayer and
declare the words of God. We can do that. That's
one way we can fight, right, you know, because he cannot,
(33:20):
he cannot destroy God's word. We know that he can
do a lot, but he cannot do that.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
So he can't. And Peter said, uh, you know, keep
your keep your focus and attention on heaven. That's where
Jesus is. And yes, we should be looking towards heaven.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
Yes. I have just enjoyed so much being able to
share this with you because, as I said earlier, sometimes
people are a little resistant to think this could even
(34:02):
be possible. There will be naysayers. You know, there were
naysayers in the Bible. I mean that didn't leave which
you know, it's just you know, there's some people that
are not going to believe that these are words that
God sent me. And some of them are very prophetic.
(34:24):
But my purpose was He told me to get them out,
So I am going to do my job and I
just hope that the hearts of people will open up
and receieve. You know, that is showing He's trying to
(34:45):
show you he's here. He's still alive. He's not stuffed
away an old old testament.
Speaker 7 (34:52):
He's here, you know, mm hmm he is.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
So what's next for Marty? Another book, ministry or something
totally unexpected?
Speaker 5 (35:03):
Oh, I haven't thought yet on the third part. I'm
either going to do another book similar to this, or
I've even thought about a blog, you know, just getting
on the computer and writing, you know more, possibly maybe
(35:26):
trying to speak with groups, mainly just trying to awaken people,
you know, hopefully hopefully they'll receive it. If not, we
know that we've done what.
Speaker 7 (35:42):
You know, do you ever think about what.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Your purpose was or what your purpose is.
Speaker 7 (35:47):
On this earth?
Speaker 5 (35:50):
You know, why did we live at this time, at
this very moment that that is on my mind so
much right now, it's why now?
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:01):
Why am I here now?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
So there's things I think we are to be doing,
and for sure, because some stuff is coming, we know
it's coming. There will be some uncomfortable things, but we know,
you know, we can be the light in the darkness.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
That's right. But yes, if you could turn this book
into a Bible study, would you, Oh, yes.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
Yes, I would be glad to That's a good point.
I hadn't even thought of it. I was just so
pleased that that Trilogy Publishing published it for me that, Yes,
I think a Bible study would be a really good No,
(36:55):
you have a wonderful idea.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
I think this would be a great like work book.
You know what I mean mean for study.
Speaker 5 (37:02):
You may have just given me your my next idea. Ay,
that that's a very good one.
Speaker 2 (37:12):

a degree in psychology and a heart for healing, she's

Oh? I am great and just so happy to be
with you and your listeners.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Hey, we are excited as well to have you here
with us this evening. Again, welcome to the show, Marty.
Before we just really dive into every thing what's been
on your heart and mind lately as you continue walking
out the spiritual insights that begin in that quiet season
of your life.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Oh, all of the interesting things that are taking place
before us today. I had a dream just not long
ago involving a person trying to put a silver helmet
(04:35):
on my son and myself, which in the dream, I
was very upset, and later as I tried to research
and really discern the information, I think in my heart
(04:57):
that it was telling me about being aware of things
coming of things that you know now we talk about
in the future, possible silks in the brain. But it
was such a powerful symbol that I just had this
(05:18):
fear of its being placed upon my head. And it
was in these years of researching symbols, I was very
concerned after I awoke that it made me think of
(05:40):
some of the future things that are happening and how
far they could possibly go. You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Yeah, that chip thing is here, yes, and it just
my dream.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Caution was given to me was just take care. I
guess that's the good advice that I to give people.
Is in anything, really tread lightly and be careful.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, in other words, don't do it.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
Yes, Yes, I have to say that I really the
mind that I have. I think I'm going to keep it.
I think I'm going to let it be mine and
share it with people, but it's going to belong to me.
I hope others feel that way, because you know, interestingly
(06:46):
enough that a lot of times will forget how the
enemy or Satan we'll try and come for our mind.
Speaker 7 (06:57):
You know, we think of all the bulls.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
And the sins and these ten commandments, but a lot
of mind have been actually trying to attack my mind.
So I highly cast some people to care for their
mind and to know that Satan is not just after
(07:23):
the heart, but he wants your mind.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Indeed, indeed, indeed that's his playground. He can't do anything
else physically, but if he can get in our minds oh,
we can create some things.
Speaker 5 (07:38):
He can been there through the years know exactly how
he can play the mind games with us, you know,
and have us believe, well, believe that we're actually you know,
you think of Paul how he was in the Bible.
He was so sure, you know, he was on the
(08:01):
right path, and he was very diligent in his purpose,
you know. So it you know, we can sometimes you
know in life where we go up maybe down the
wrong path and need to kind of be awaken to
(08:22):
see that, you know, maybe this is not exactly the
route we should take, and life shows us that.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
You know, mm hmm, it does. So, like you, I
grew up in church, and an even step further, my
father still is an evangelist and acting pastor. Yeah, but Marty,
what I learned is that my father couldn't. As I
(08:52):
got older, I learned that my father couldn't live out
my salvation, that I had to have that for myself.
And you grew up in church, but in twenty twenty
something shifted. What made that season feel so different spiritually
versus anything you've ever experienced growing up?
Speaker 7 (09:11):
Oh, that's a great question.
Speaker 5 (09:15):
Growing up in churchs and I minored in history, and
so much of my time in churts, I felt as
it was history, you know, hearing the beautiful stories, but
they were history.
Speaker 7 (09:34):
Lessons to me.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
And I just felt something missing. And I knew that
I loved going, I loved charts, but I knew something,
and I began to try to seek God.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
And of course in the Bible it says seek.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Him and He will come to you. And I was
very fortunate that in late December, a few days before
New Year's in twenty nineteen, right in twenty twenty, I
had the most incredible dream that I was assisting a
(10:20):
physician in an operating room. The patient was doing great,
and at the end of the operation, the physician turned
to me, and as he hugs me, he snails my hair.
(10:44):
Now the listeners this maying unusual. But I felt such
comfort in my dream and such love that I knew
who had visited me. In that dream, I knew exactly
who was there. And as we read that God can
(11:08):
perceive smell and their aroma, it's mentioned over forty times
in the Bible that I knew who was there and
it I woke up that morning and took a pen
and a notebook and wrote. I wrote it down, and
that started my journey. And right now as we talk, Vinnie,
(11:33):
I'm getting a chill bunce. I mean, just it was
just the incredible moment that I knew he was coming
to me. Because I think all of us want a
relationship with God, you know, our own relationship that we see.
(11:54):
As you said, with like with your dad, we have
to find our own salvation and with the me.
Speaker 7 (12:00):
I wanted a close relationship.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
I wanted to know him and what it would be
like to feel this love. You know. That's why I
called the book Grasping for Spiritual Sight. I knew there
was more than just the eyes to see with. I
needed to seek him inwardly.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
You know spiritually.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, that the personal relationship with God. I was talking
with someone and this is before I had my relationship,
and I was like, wow, I wish I could, you know,
I wish I could hear from God. You know, you
hear these things and you're able to prophesy, You're able
to tell these wonderful things that God is telling you.
(12:53):
But God never talks to me. I said, how is that?
And he was like, well, who's your favorite celebrity? And
I told him. He's like, name ten things about the celebrity.
So I did. It's okay, name ten things about God.
And you know I could do five, but that was
about it. I was like, well, you don't know God, Dan,
(13:16):
I said, well, how do I know God? You have
to read the Bible, you have to pray. How do
you get close to someone spending time with him, talking
to him? And that's how relationships start.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Right right? Oh?
Speaker 7 (13:28):
That was That's lovely.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
That was a wonderful story because that's literally where I started.
I mean just from the very moment I got that dream.
I would get up in the morning, put on praise
and worsip music.
Speaker 7 (13:46):
I would open up the Bible.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
I just began to make it a true mission to
find him. If I could find him at all, I
was going to you know what I mean, like, if
he was there for me, I was going to give
it everything I had to find it to find him.
Speaker 7 (14:06):
And he did not disappoint me at all.
Speaker 5 (14:11):
At all. No, he never does, you know. It just
it literally blows your mind when you see and some
of the dreams that were shown me. They you know,
you think about people that will tell you well, in fact,
(14:34):
we go back to church or just people that will
attend services, you know, and I talk with them about
this and they will say, well, you know, miracles were
for a specific time, and you know, I'm I know it,
and I'm just so confused because I thought miracles are
here aroumped us every day. You know, we don't want
(14:58):
to put God in this little book and keep him there.
You know, He's mighty, He's moving, and it just it's
so sad. We need to hear the some of the
themi I mean to hear some of the believers who
(15:18):
have kept God in such a very small level that
I think we need to come together, all of us
that God needs us now, don't you think more than ever?
Speaker 7 (15:36):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (15:37):
Oh, yeah, more than ever. Right now the line is
clearly drawn in the sand.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
Yes, that's exactly it is drawn. Yes, and yeah, he
wants us to stand at that line and stand firm.
And if we can remove names on building, just think
of all of us coming together, how much we could
(16:06):
accomplish for him. You know if we just got rid
of labels, man's ideas and just came to God, and
the numbers would just astound us, wasn't they of what
all we could do for people and for His word?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yes? How did you know it was time to start
writing it all down?
Speaker 5 (16:37):
Well? I started after that dream.
Speaker 7 (16:41):
I did start.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
I started right then, and it was they came fairly regularly.
Some dreams would just be comfort dreams, very.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
Personal to me.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
And you know, I wrote, I guess I have written
over three hundred dreams and journals and I did this
for two years. So the dreams in the book, I
tried to have them to be significant, to show validation
(17:22):
of what God tend do, and then to show people
there is a prophetic word being spoken. Prophets are still here,
they're being they're receiving messages. And then to let people
see the love of God and that was all of
(17:43):
the purpose of the book. The dreams continued to come,
as I said, for over two years, and then I
knew then my purpose that I had to share them.
I mean, I felt compelled to share, to share them, you.
Speaker 7 (18:05):
Know, like kind of you know, you need to do something.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Well, that was what was being said to me, was.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
Get this out.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
So I began to try to compose it in a book.
And it took a while because I had a lot
of material, a lot of material, but I tried to
pick the most significant ones that I felt people could
really learn from and maybe think of their own spirituality
(18:43):
and what do they truly believe?
Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah, you mentioned that you've written three hundred of these
dreams in your dream journal. What was the first dream
that made you stop to say, this means something.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
Oh, I am looking right now to see them looking
through the book.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
There was one that was so powerful. Each of them
had their own significance to me, but there was one
in particular that started out where I was sitting, I
(19:31):
guess in the doctor's office or just in an office,
maybe a university.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
I think it was a university, that's right.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
And magazines at that time were around, you know.
Speaker 7 (19:46):
Now that's nothing we see much anymore.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
But I had a magazine in my lap and this
I turned the page in the magazine to an adver
cousinent of of all things, of beautiful bed linens.
Speaker 7 (20:06):
They were.
Speaker 5 (20:08):
Curtains and blanket and pillows, and I thought, what a
lovely picture. You know, it was just it was just beautiful,
like what a decorator would design. And then behind my
side and the back, I assumed it was the.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
Professor, but it was symbolic of God.
Speaker 5 (20:38):
This hand, which was much larger than you know, your
hand or my hand, pointed with his main pointing finger
at that picture and continued to point at it like
(20:59):
look he And I was so confused. I kept thinking,
what am I? What am I missing? What is in
this picture? And the hand stayed there for some time,
and then of.
Speaker 7 (21:16):
Course the person left.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
But upon research I found such significant information that a
bedroom and a dream or a vision. Uh. The notes
h wrist and it denotes covenant, that your God keeps
(21:42):
covenant and a steadfast love and will keep his commandments
to a thousand generations. And I know after studying this
that one other different research symbol says a large and
says you have been chosen to carry out an important
(22:06):
task that will become very clear to you in the future.
And that's when I knew.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
I thought, this is it, this is this is real.
Speaker 5 (22:17):
I'm not you know, he's not playing around, you know,
He's telling me.
Speaker 7 (22:22):
Exactly what I'm supposed to do.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
And that was such an incredible dream when when I
thought I was just looking at a magazine, but then
when you dissect it, it was so powerful.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
The message was, so how did you begin decode and
the symbols in your dream?
Speaker 5 (22:44):
I began looking at spiritual books, like there were two
that I really thought provided a lot of information, and
one of them was by also Man and the other
one by Florence Saul. And there were some other things
(23:06):
I looked through, but these two were very religious oriented.
Everything was very spiritual, and it connected with my soul inside.
When I could read what they had been studying, it
(23:27):
seemed to sing to me, you know, resonate with me.
So I use those two as the main resources for
my dreams.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
So you have a background in education, social work and
hospital outreach. I believe now more than ever, there are
a lot of souls that are in need of hospice outreach.
Or hospital outreach spiritually speaking, and you've seen the systems
(24:09):
mental health, education, family support. Where do you see the
biggest need for spiritual care today?
Speaker 5 (24:18):
Oh, that's what a strong question. I think we have
to go back to the very beginning exactly of what
Jesus has said, and that is served, and that is
what we are to do, is to serve people.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
There.
Speaker 5 (24:39):
I live in a very small area. The numbers are
growing and growing, people homeless, people needing food, bringing their
children out now with the which is new for our area,
to bring the little ones, the babies, to come as
they beg and I just think it all boils down
(25:02):
to what Christ had told us to do, is to
serve them.
Speaker 7 (25:08):
And there's so many ways we can.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
I think if we come, if we stand firm, we pray,
we praise.
Speaker 7 (25:19):
God, I think he will show us.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
I think he will show us some things that we
can do.
Speaker 7 (25:25):
But to me, it's still all about serving.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
You know, Jesus wants defeat of the disciple.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
I think it's for us to become humble and begin
again just back to.
Speaker 5 (25:43):
What we know works, and that's to share with one
another's kindness, to begin with that and to work with
purpose and meaning to our life. And what I'm trying
to do right now with this book is bring awareness
(26:05):
and help to have people think about what are some
of the things they could be doing or just even
in their minds thinking of things like road rades, things
that years ago were never even thought of, that we
(26:26):
could come back to this life that's not in complete
chaos right now, which I feel like it is the enemy.
We know that he's going to fight with all that
he has. The great wonderful thing is the last dream
in my book that I have that is my favorite
(26:50):
dream is the one where I actually seek Christ coming
into the Colisseum and fighting the battle to win. And
it was just a magnificent dream. We do know that
he wins. It was just more validation for me to
see it in my dreams.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, so let's talk about the book center theme, spiritual sight.
What does it mean to you now about the rightness?
Speaker 5 (27:28):
It has opened up what I hoped that it would do.
God came to me and has shown me things, some
very personal that I have kept to myself, messages that
I needed to hear a personally that.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
Have made me a much stronger Christian. And believe.
Speaker 5 (28:01):
You know you can go to church, but does that
make you that person that you truly want to be?
And I wanted to be all in. I wanted to
be in love with Christ. I wanted to follow in
and I wanted to know him. And it's available to
(28:25):
anybody if you open the word. He may send you
a whisper, but he will.
Speaker 7 (28:33):
Send you something.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
It will He will definitely contact and try to reach
the people who are actively trying to find him. It
will just happen. It may take you, you know, it
may take you months, but you just stay with it
(28:55):
and He's going to appear and he will give you
glimpses of things that you just well, I must be
honest to you. There were many nights that I did
not want to wake up. I did not I would
have gone with him, you know, just that magical moments
(29:16):
that are just well, I can't really explain it even
with words, but I would have gone.
Speaker 7 (29:22):
I mean, if I had died right then, I would.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Have been a happy, happy person. They were just magnificent,
very hard to describe. I tried the best I could
with words, but you know, sometimes words aren't enough, you know,
the But it has been a beautiful journey. I hope
(29:46):
your listeners will try their best to think what would
they like to get from knowing God more, because I
will promise you and all of your listeners.
Speaker 7 (30:02):
That it's worth it.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
The pain, the scars I have, the near death experiences
that I have there, they're worth it. All you want,
I mean, you won't return, You'll you won't go back.
You can't. I mean, it's just it doesn't even enter
your mind to go back. And it's like you're in
(30:25):
love with God, you know, the special relationship that you
want with him, and you just don't want to go
back to the world.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
That's right. You have those moments where you're feels like
you're walking on a mountain with God. It's like, oh man,
I have to come down and do earthly things.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
Exactly. Oh, I know it. And that's why when I
told you like some of these I was actually on
a mountain with him, and you're right, I mean, right
then you'd be like, Okay, let's go on up further.
I mean, you know you're ready at that moment, and
it's it's wonderful to know that something is waiting for us.
(31:14):
That's you know, that's better than here, you know what
I mean? We know that, yeah, and we have to
hang on to that. We have to put on our
full armor of God. We have to be prepared because
(31:34):
Satan is really running rampant. I don't know if you've
heard many people but say that, but this is the
end times, This truly is. Things are worsening and God
is moving and I do believe that He's going to
show us some incredible things.
Speaker 7 (31:58):
And I don't think we're going to be for are
away from.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
Them at all and time wise, but there's gonna be
some wonderful things that people will see God's glory.
Speaker 7 (32:11):
It's just getting really bad.
Speaker 5 (32:16):
You know. The enemy is just yeah, he's really trying
to destroy, you know, destroy the people, and he hits
hard with the Christians. He hits hard with us who
believe it. Yeah, you've just got to be strong.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
That's right. And you know he's no longer hiding his
deeds and his people and what he's doing. It's as
plain as day, like it's nothing. And that's the part
that is the telltale sign that there is a line
in the sand. You better choose your sign.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
No, yes, that's good points choose it right now, right
now today.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
Choose it.
Speaker 5 (33:00):
Yeah, And stand there and stand firm. You know, we
don't physically fight, but we can fight with prayer and
declare the words of God. We can do that. That's
one way we can fight, right, you know, because he cannot,
(33:20):
he cannot destroy God's word. We know that he can
do a lot, but he cannot do that.
Speaker 2 (33:25):
So he can't. And Peter said, uh, you know, keep
your keep your focus and attention on heaven. That's where
Jesus is. And yes, we should be looking towards heaven.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
Yes. I have just enjoyed so much being able to
share this with you because, as I said earlier, sometimes
people are a little resistant to think this could even
(34:02):
be possible. There will be naysayers. You know, there were
naysayers in the Bible. I mean that didn't leave which
you know, it's just you know, there's some people that
are not going to believe that these are words that
God sent me. And some of them are very prophetic.
(34:24):
But my purpose was He told me to get them out,
So I am going to do my job and I
just hope that the hearts of people will open up
and receieve. You know, that is showing He's trying to
(34:45):
show you he's here. He's still alive. He's not stuffed
away an old old testament.
Speaker 7 (34:52):
He's here, you know, mm hmm he is.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
So what's next for Marty? Another book, ministry or something
totally unexpected?
Speaker 5 (35:03):
Oh, I haven't thought yet on the third part. I'm
either going to do another book similar to this, or
I've even thought about a blog, you know, just getting
on the computer and writing, you know more, possibly maybe
(35:26):
trying to speak with groups, mainly just trying to awaken people,
you know, hopefully hopefully they'll receive it. If not, we
know that we've done what.
Speaker 7 (35:42):
You know, do you ever think about what.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Your purpose was or what your purpose is.
Speaker 7 (35:47):
On this earth?
Speaker 5 (35:50):
You know, why did we live at this time, at
this very moment that that is on my mind so
much right now, it's why now?
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:01):
Why am I here now?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
So there's things I think we are to be doing,
and for sure, because some stuff is coming, we know
it's coming. There will be some uncomfortable things, but we know,
you know, we can be the light in the darkness.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
That's right. But yes, if you could turn this book
into a Bible study, would you, Oh, yes.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
Yes, I would be glad to That's a good point.
I hadn't even thought of it. I was just so
pleased that that Trilogy Publishing published it for me that, Yes,
I think a Bible study would be a really good No,
(36:55):
you have a wonderful idea.
Speaker 7 (36:56):
I think this would be a great like work book.
You know what I mean mean for study.
Speaker 5 (37:02):
You may have just given me your my next idea. Ay,
that that's a very good one.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
Thank you, No problem, no problem. Y. So Marty, where
