sitting on your heart or mind these past few weeks.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
What I'm thinking of is the joy in music. I've
been I've been interested in music from my youth, and
I've been playing, and.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
I've taught music, and then I'm.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
In the composition of really quite the music to.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
Sue the soul because you're seeing in music, and you know,
if you can only produce the music that people can hear,
the ninety percent of the work is accomplished because every.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
Music is the universal language and everyone loves music.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
So just the right music to sue the soul.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
It's healing and it's uplifting, and it's deep for meditation.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
And self voice.

Speaker 8 (05:04):
So my goal is to reach the hearts of paper
and uplift their spirits with music, high quality music.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Indeed, so you chose I heard an old, old story
as a single. What made that him the perfect one
to launch your recording journey?

Speaker 5 (05:26):
It's is one of personal experience, having an.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Encounter with with with Christ, and I have such great
experience with Him, and I want others to understand and
to feel, to share the joy that I feel being
related to Christ and to sing and.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
To the Lord. A new song. This song, it's an
it's not a new song.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
It is an old song and it relates to past,
present and future because it.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Has it offers.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
Life in the future, life began this present life that
we're in.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
And I think more part less with this song, others.

Speaker 6 (06:24):
Will be motivated and inspired to become follower of Christ
as well as to inferit that great hope of eternal
life through.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
The joy of singing and present worship God.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Absolutely, would you like to share your testimony your encounter
with God.

Speaker 5 (06:47):
Yes.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Ever since I was a child, I build my faith
in in God. I remember when I was at the
age of sixteen, I was sick with an access tooth
and it was soden and painful, hurting me severely. And

(07:13):
my mom was in the kitchen cooking, and I was
on the bed crying.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
Because an abcess took is a severe pain. You know
I'm saying. While I was crying in my pain.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
At the age of sixteen, I left my sake to
God and I prayed to God and in my pain
and asked him to hear me. And while I was praying, instantaneously.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
The paint, the swelling, the access tooth being drawn, No
more swelling, no more pain. And I felt right and
novi pain.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
You know when you go to the doctor and get
the dents and get that novy cane and when it starts.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Wearing out the field, that good bomb, that shell. That's
the way I felt.

Speaker 9 (08:12):
God healed me instantaneously while I was praying, and I
did God answer that on other occasions I was out evangelizing.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
While I was out eventelizing on my bicycle.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
I stopped at a home as she stayed home and
was witnessing.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
The rain started falling.

Speaker 6 (08:40):
It was late in the evening and my bicycle didn't
have any lights on it, and we need to have light.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
On their bicycle when we ride at night. So the
rain was pouring, pouring a storm, and I stood under
watch and silently.

Speaker 10 (09:02):
I asked God to stop the rain so that I
can get home. And instantaneously, while I was talking to God,
he stopped the rain and I got on my bicycle
and I rode home, which was about thirty miles.

Speaker 5 (09:21):
From where I was and just just a rich home.
Guess what, the rain starts falling again, but I was home.
So I have many things that I can give God
thanks sport. Also, this is another miracle. I was inside

(09:47):
my home in minnet Loo and there was no heat
in my part in my house. The city turns off
my water and religious in southward. So I was praying
to God to send some rain so that I could

(10:08):
get some water water in the house.

Speaker 11 (10:12):
And a voice said to me, set a bucket outside
and I obeyed that voice and I set a bucket
maybe I think it's a four or.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Five yellon bucket pail and.

Speaker 6 (10:28):
I went south Minneaplots and when I was on my
way back to downtown.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
Minneapolos, where I lived, the rain was pouring. And when
I got home.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
The rain stop and my bucket were filled with water.
I was able to get enough water to fill a
several yellon bucket, my kitchen sink, double kitchen sink, and
all song my backup A God send the rain.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
And this was in the middst of summer. So I
have token God to be a miracle of God. And
he loved us, and that's.

Speaker 12 (11:13):
Why I heard an old those story about how Jesus
came from glory and his shaddy blood or story deem
of he's a provider.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
And so forth. So that song is a wonderful testament.

Speaker 6 (11:30):
For me as the victory that to be found in Jesus.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Oh Glory to God.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
I love that the song is nearly I believe one
hundred years old.

Speaker 13 (11:45):
How did you bring your.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Own voice and spirit to such a classic.

Speaker 5 (11:52):
This is a.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Song that I knew from I was a kid who
used to sing it.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
But I started to do my music production here I
that song.

Speaker 6 (12:05):
It tough out and to me, and then I choose
it because I love that song.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
I can relate to it.

Speaker 14 (12:15):
And I started recording the song, and I said, what
do I want to accomplish by singing this song.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
I think of the soults of many people that needed
to be hear or needed to be touched. I'm also
an ordained pastor.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
And.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
I decided to sing this song.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
But in singing this song.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
It's not just reciting words to place emphasis on the
words of the song as it as if one is
relating the established in your relationship with someone, and at
the same time you're trying to involve the person's attention

(13:10):
to this to what you're talking about. For instance, in versone,
you said, I heard an old, old story. It's an
ancient ancient tale. Uh if by to talk about Jesus.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
He came, he the son of God, and then he
came in human flesh.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
Because when he was before he was incarnated, became flesh.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
He was known as the Word in Genesis.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
And the Bible said, and God said, come, let us
make man in the lightless of our own image. So
there God summoned the Trinity, the fathers and hold the Spirit,
and they created man man fall from the grace of God.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
And there Jesus came.

Speaker 6 (14:07):
When Jesus came, the angels announced a proclaimed the Messiah
that she should bring forth the sound and its nature
because Jesus.

Speaker 11 (14:21):
The God with us, em Manual, Emmanuel.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
And so forth.

Speaker 15 (14:26):
So here's the savior of mankind because he replaces Adam,
the old man, which is Adam.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Sin has entered into a life because of Adam sin
against God.

Speaker 16 (14:46):
So it takes Jesus, the incarnate God, to bring us
back to relationship with God.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
So it's an old story.

Speaker 6 (15:00):
In Jan one, verse one, it says in the beginning.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
What's the world and the world what's with God? And
the Word was God and everything was made back by him.
So man are made in the likeness and image of God.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
And there is it is innated in mankind to worship God.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
And I heard about his healing. He not only a savior,
but he's also a healer. He hears a broken body,
and we have seen he raises the dead.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
Gyrusis daughter the blind man by Kimus.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
So he is all provided. He's a healer. I heard
about his mansion.

Speaker 6 (15:53):
He not only careful about the physical state of our
body healing, but also a promise us a mansion. He said,
He'll go and prepare a place for us, and he
will come again to receive us.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
And to himself. So that new Jerusalem is that place
that we all want to be.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
And I would like to inside and encourage others to
focus and to accept Christ and work towards inheritance.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
In that great mansion in glory. And then at the
end of time.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
We will sing the songs of victory of all the
things that we have been true, like pain, sicknesses, death,
and all these sad things.

Speaker 5 (16:58):
No more will we execarients those in the new Jerusale
and the new Mansion in Glory.

Speaker 17 (17:05):
And John and the other partner, she sought the visions
of heaven. And this is a vision that I would
like to unfail, unto mankind of Jesus and his glory
and his.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Jesus said, who's ever believed in him should not perish, but.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Have ever lasting right. If he's the great assurance and
victory in Jesus that I want the world to know about.
And the band says, singing to the Lord.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
A new sound, sing presidentally with the statarian art with
a string instrument.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Of Oregon, founding symbol Miriam. After the crosses to ready see.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
She took her symbol and she started to play songs
until the Lloyd.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
We have seen also David, he plays the hard the
great musician.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
And when King Saul was possessed by evil spirit, he
held and David to play music for him so that
the evil spirit could.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Leave him. So I heard an old old story. This
is not something.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
New about the miracles of God and about.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
The saving power of God.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
We have seen blind man by Tamils has killed him,
and great miracles that he has done. And I wanted
word to know that faith in God will never fail us.
It's the whole selfish and it brings peace and music.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
Music will soon the soul sing unto the Lord and
new thumb. Clap your hands.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
All these people that's in some one hundred and make
controy it for noise and to the Lord.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
So my song here I choose this one.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
I heard an old old story because it is alive
in me, and it will also be alive in everyone
who accepted and believe it.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
I love that all right, guys, it's time to dive
into some music. We have pasted Joseph Oliver Dixon with
the song I heard an old old story, and then
we'll be right back to put him in our traditional
hot seat where he could sing for us to a
spoken word, tell us a joke, tell us a story
player instrument.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Give some advice, or do nothing at all. That is
cool as well. For right now here it is I
heard an old old story data.

Speaker 18 (20:06):
I heard it all, don't story.

Speaker 19 (20:10):
Our savior came from the story how he gave his
life and calvary to savor rich like me.

Speaker 18 (20:22):
I heard about his growning off, his precious love toning.

Speaker 20 (20:30):
Then I remented of my sinlan one the victory, Oh victory,
chisus my savior.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
More.

Speaker 21 (20:47):
He sought me and he walked me with his deeming.

Speaker 5 (20:55):
He loved me ran.

Speaker 20 (20:59):
And mellow mist him.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
He lunched me to victory.

Speaker 20 (21:07):
Be thelenling.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
I have heard about.

Speaker 22 (21:14):
Sel off, his clensinggor rav lan, how he made a
lane to.

Speaker 21 (21:22):
Walk again and paused a blind us.

Speaker 23 (21:28):
And a denagrad dijesus.

Speaker 22 (21:32):
Coming here my brogains me ray and somehow geesus payment
brought to me the big.

Speaker 24 (21:42):
Door for bittery cheeses.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
My savior for raver.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
He sought me.

Speaker 25 (21:55):
He bought me with his radio. He loved me right
new name, Pando my love his fu him.

Speaker 23 (22:10):
He plunched me to victory, mandack cleansing flow. I heard
about the manshon he spill me in glory. I heard
about the streets of all be on deck rystill say

(22:35):
about the name Chelseing and older dames story On.

Speaker 18 (22:43):
Sundry day, I'll sing of the song of victory. Who
victory in chesus? My savior foraver.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
He sought me.

Speaker 21 (23:02):
He bought me wit his dyinglo He loved me, ran
new me and the love my new game. He blunched
me to victory.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
We need the cleansing.

Speaker 5 (23:25):
Oh victory, g.

Speaker 24 (23:29):
Mercy, poor raber.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
He shot me.

Speaker 24 (23:35):
He brought me whitydy England.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
He loved me my newly.

Speaker 24 (23:47):
My loves to.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
He brunched me to victory. Oh victory.

Speaker 24 (24:01):
Ge my thab mob hey, he wrought me weenm I
you him pandom alone miss do him he burns me

(24:25):
to victory.

Speaker 13 (24:27):
Be all right, all right, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
That was I heard an old old story Bypastor Joseph Dixon.

Speaker 13 (24:47):
All right, let's go ahead and bring him back.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Hey, hey, hey, welcome back, welcome back, you're back live
with us and in our hot seat?

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Are you going to perform for us?

Speaker 10 (25:00):
And this song?

Speaker 5 (25:03):
As you notice the emphasis place place place in it,
like I heard an old old story.

Speaker 6 (25:14):
It's not one that thing want to before I got
in say the say I heard.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Them hold the old story.

Speaker 10 (25:21):
No, it's something sweet, So you pay an emphasis and
substan the.

Speaker 5 (25:29):
Word I heard an old old story the emphasis pace
and and I heard an old it's not something grand new.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
But if it's sustaining, so what happens here in saying it?
You don't want to just file the word old old
and let it before I got it.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
You want to sustain it. So I heard the old
all the story, how a save? You kind of let
that soak in you? You know the favorite plain from
Glory that glory is something you want to hold. You
don't want to.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
Just let it go, like you you buy something and
you just eat entre it away.

Speaker 5 (26:26):
You wanted to to sustain loved as long as possible.
So he came from glory, He gave his life and
Calvary to save. You know, you sustain that a rest
like me and that is you, you actually appropriating things

(26:54):
onto yourself.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
Applying is like you want to share, share in what
you're talking about. And he saved save arest like me,
I heard about this groaning.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
The groaning is not one of sadness to the extend
that regret herself with, but.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
The type of effict groanings is to regive us, to deliver.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Us, to become human so that he can experience what
we are experiencing. So that groaning is something that is
rooted give within us. We can feel that passion voice
of compassion. And she's prescious blood, something that is prescious.

(27:55):
You do not want to just show it the way,
let it pass you precious. You want to hold it
his precious blood, attorney. You want to sustain it, holds
it a love as you possible can while it is
doing its work at Tony Cleansing.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
Then I repented at my sins and won the victory.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
This is so precious appropriation.

Speaker 6 (28:28):
You believe something and your applied and you've got the victory.
So you shouted a victory in Jesus. You notice the
victory is something that.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
You thought your list is high. Oh victory, you are
glad for it. My savior forever.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
He sought me, and he bought me.

Speaker 5 (28:56):
He's redeeming blood.

Speaker 17 (29:00):
He love me.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
It's not just he love me. He loves me, and
I knew it, and all.

Speaker 17 (29:08):
My love is due him.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
He clutched me. When you think of the plant, is
he is. He buries me, holds me because he's never
let us go.

Speaker 7 (29:25):
And we have the victory.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
Beneath the cleansing, cleansing flood. And this is beautiful. The
cleansing make us.

Speaker 6 (29:38):
Purified, clean, prepare us for his father's kingdom.

Speaker 2 (29:45):

reminded us that music isn't just sound, it's sole medicine
for the spirit. We'll explore the timeless power of him.
This is one man choir creations, our faith and current
events weave into his songs.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
