terrifying dreams where demons attacked you? Or possibly you've had
dreams where you were casting out demons. You might be
facing a spiritual oppression, or maybe it's a confirmation of
a calling of God on your life to drive out demons.

Today we're can expose why demons attack us in our sleep,
how to fight back, and what does it mean spiritually
if you dream about confronting or casting out demons? Now
why demons attack us in our dreams? Your dreams, your
time of sleep is actually a battleground. But it's also
an opportunity for God to speak. We see this in
(01:04):
the Bible where God spoke to people through dreams. He
did that by revealing his plans and purposes, even to Joseph.
He spoke about Jesus in the dream and preserved Jesus's
life when there was an attack on Jesus. Through dreams,
we see the Pharaohs and Abucanazars in the Bible, God
speaks through dreams. Well, the devil also attacks through dreams.

You know, there's a scripture a parable in Matthew thirteen
where Jesus said that when they slept, the enemy so terrors.
You know, when Samson went to sleep, Delilah cut his hair.
So Satan loves to attack and torment people in their
sleep because it's a time when you're resting. It's a
time when you are sleeping. And so if he can
affect your dream life and you wake up in screaming pain,

if you are waking up and you've had these sexual
dreams and the regular somebody's abusing you in the dream
or chase you and you wake up, you know, with fear.
You wake up confused, and you don't have any affection
for your spouse, or you have no desire to live.
And some people experience that. You know, that could be
a sign not just of spiritual warfare, but actually of
(02:14):
spiritual oppression. You know, maybe there was an open door
of sin. Perhaps there is just a demonic in dwelling
that requires deliverance, and that is evident in nightmares and
torments that we experience in our sleep. Now, not every
dream that's bad means you have a demon. Okay, just
(02:36):
like not every dream that's good means God is speaking
to you. We have to practice discernment. Nor does it
mean if you get attacked in your sleep that you
have a demon. Anymore that if God visits you in
the dream, it does not mean you're going to heaven.
There are people in the Bible God came in a
dream and gave them a dream. They were still heidens

like Pharaoh. He wasn't walking with God Nebucanazar and a
lot of the other people in the Bible. They were
not walking with the Lord. Yet the Lord visited them
in the dream. The same way, if the enemy attacks
you in your sleep, this doesn't mean automatically you have
a demon. Plus, sometimes people get dreams from life, you know,

pizza dreams. You know, whatever you think about is reflected
in your dream. So how would you know if it's
a demonic dream versus a pizza dream. A few common
differentiations well, Demonic dreams are usually persistent, reoccurring nightmares or
violent encounters. There are feelings of paralysis, choking, extreme heaviness,

and oppression. People experience sudden, unexplained fear, terror, or spiritual darkness.
A lot of demonic dreams are very sexual in nature,
and they feel invasive and violating. These dreams they constantly
try to tempt you or lure you into sin. Now,

not every nightmare is necessarily a sign that a person
has demons, but consistent spiritual oppression during sleep often points
to the demonic activity that needs a person needs deliverance
for that. How do you respond to these demonic dreams? Well,
there's some practical things you can take immediately once you
wake up. You can rebuke that dream in the name

of Jesus out loud, invoke the authority and the blood
of Jesus Christ. Read and declare scriptures of authority and
victory like Look chapter ten, verse nineteen, like James chapter four,
verse seven. Pray specifically against spirits attacking you in your sleep,
asking the Holy Spirit for discernment. Now, you might also

need to consult somebody or ask somebody to pray for you.
If this continues, you might need to go to a
pastor or or leaders say hey, would you come in
agreement with me? Would you pray for me? And sometimes
you you need people to actually do deliverance in you
and just command any unclean spirit that has had any
access to your life to be removed and renounce any

acxis that demons might have had into your life. Now,
what happens if in your sleep, in your dreams, you're
not actually being terrorized by the devil, you're terrorizing the devil.
You're casting out demons in your dream Some dreams about
demons aren't just attacks. They can be actually prophetic indicators

of your calling into spiritual warfare or deliverance ministry. Dreams
where you are boldly confronting or casting out demons often
reveal God's training, ground, calling, and preparation for ministry. We
see where God will actually like call people into ministry,
into an assignment through dreams like Gideon's dream Judges, chapter seven,

Gideon was encouraged through a dream about victory against the enemy,
confirming spiritual calling that he had to warfare. Paul's Macedonian
vision in Book of Acts chapter sixteen, You know brought
clarity to the ministry assignment. Here are some of the
signs that you're being called into deliverance ministry. You have
frequent dreams of fighting spiritual battles successfully. You have dreams

where you're commending demons to leave and they obey. You
have a growing passion and burden to see people set
free spiritually. Now important caution, always confirm your calling through prayer, wise, console, scripture,
and real time spiritual fruit, so you don't launch a

ministry based on a dream. The Lord usually will provide
other confirmations and make sure you pay attention to them. Now,
for those of you that may be clicked on this
video and you're like man, but I experience nightmares and attacks,
I want to give you some practical preventable measures before
you go to sleep. Pray specific invite God's presence into

your house and into your bed. Annoy it's your home,
your room with oil, declare God's authority and peace. Remove
any occultic or spiritually questionable items from your home. Regularly
meditate under scriptures before sleeping. So instead of binge watching

TV shows, playing video games aimlessly scrolling through social media,
take a scripture, maybe memorize a Bible verse and review
those verses. Read a good, you know, inspired, godly anointed
book before you go to sleep, so that your last
thoughts and meditations could be directed toward the truths of
(07:47):
God's word. And also, in a practical sense, practice good
spiritual hygiene. Maintain consistent worship, prayer, and devotional habits throughout
the day and not just before you go to sleep.
Guard your spiritual atmosphere intentionally. A clean spiritual environment significantly
reduces demonic intrusions. So let's recap. Demonic dreams often reveal
(08:12):
either an invitation to a calling or an oppression. You
do have authority through Jesus Christ. Spiritual warfare in your
dreams could signify, clarify a purpose and a calling. Never
fear spiritual attacks, let them confirm you're doing something powerful

for God. But if you are being spiritually tormented in
your dreams, remember there's hope for you that is help.
