Speaker 1 (00:06):
Welcome to vlat Subject Podcast. Our mission at Vladimir Subject
Ministries is to reach the world globally and disciple them digitally.
Let's dive into this episode.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Millions of Christians are falling for this and they don't
even realize it. This trap of Satan is very subtle.
It's spiritual, it's sneaky, and it's spreading like wildfire in
the church today. This video is not just about a warning.
It's a call to wake up, because if you're not
alert and you're not rooted, you might be already caught
(00:49):
in it. Please don't scroll, don't swipe, because this might
just save your walk with God. And this is the trap.
It's called comfortable. This trap is not some dramatic, obvious
Satanic attack. It's not witchcraft. It's not atheism. It's more
dangerous than that. It's the lie of comfortable Christianity. It
(01:12):
whispers things like you can follow Jesus without denying yourself.
You don't have to change, just pray a prayer. Grace
means God understands your sin, not that he empowers you
to overcome. Second Timothy chapter four, verses three to four,
Paul says for the time will come when they will
not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires.
(01:34):
They will have itching ears and they will hip hop
for themselves teachers, and they will turn their ears away
from the truth and be turned aside to fables. We
are living in that time right now. This is how
this trap of Satan works. Satan doesn't have to lead
you to renounce Jesus. He just has to make you passive, distracted,
(01:57):
and unfruitful. He'll offer you a version of Christianity that
feels good, but it does no good. It's a Christianity
that justifies sin instead of confronting it. It replaces conviction
with convenience. It substitutes discipleship with digital content, and it
would prefer influencers over spiritual fathers and mothers. And here
(02:22):
is what happens. You'll end up with faith that inspires
you but never changes you, and you begin to believe
in two tiers of Christianity. I call it the two
tier trap. It's the one where you see as the
first tier there's grace for forgiveness, you're justified, and the
second tier is there's grace for transformation. Meaning this is
(02:44):
for the radical, those who want to take the next
step in a deeper Christianity, in the more spiritually on
fire for God. But like you can get away with
just being on the tier one. But see the Bible
doesn't presents the grace of God in tears, meaning just
the grace to get saved. And then if you really
(03:05):
want to get committed radical deny yourself, then become a disciple.
May I submit to you? For the scripture says by
the grace you've been saved in the Phasian chapter two,
verse eight, nine and ten. That is not of yourself,
that is not of works. But then in the verse
ten it talks about but we are His workmanship created
in Christ for good works. Titus chapter two, verse eleven
(03:29):
and twelve, it says the grace of God that brings salvation, yes,
tier one, but then it says teaches us to deny
on godliness. See it's a continuous path. This is not
something that you arrived when you got saved. Actually, your
Christian journey just begun. Imagine when my baby boy was
(03:49):
born and I would just celebrate his birth, but there
will be no heartbeating, but there will be no breath,
there will be no cry. This wouldn't be a cause
for celebration, it will be a cause for concern. What
we have done is we have celebrated somebody praying a prayer,
raising a hand, shedding a tear, and we quickly say, well,
(04:11):
this person got saved. And I'm not in any way
questioning that, But where is the heartbeat, where's the cry,
where's the breath, where's the hunger? Where's the fruit of that? No,
we're not saved by our hunger for God. But when
we are saved, it produces hunger for God. It's called
new birth. And what saddens me is we have a
(04:34):
lot of people who have been celebrated the event of
their birth, but there is no fruit of their transformation.
And John the Baptist told people who came to him
for what a baptism, He said, bear fruits worthy of repentance.
God's grace doesn't just pardon you, it trains you. Today,
we've separated the birth from growth, we separate it from
(04:58):
justification from santification. We've made salvation the finish line instead
of the starting line. I like what Bonhoffer said about Christianity.
He said, Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without christ.
Bill hoff said barcode. Christians believe the right things, but
they don't follow Jesus. The evidence of salvation is transformation. Again,
(05:22):
we are not saved by our good works, how we
are saved for a changed life. And millions of Christians
have embraced Jesus as their savior and haven't submitted to
him as the Lord. Let's make this plane. How do
you know if you are in this trap? Well, you
(05:43):
repost Bible verses, but you haven't read your Bible in weeks.
You love sermons about destiny, but avoid sermons about discipline.
You're very defensive when you're corrected, but you are unmoved
when you are convicted by the Holy Spirit. You love
to ten services, but you never step into service. This
(06:03):
is Satan strategy. He doesn't need you to hate God.
He just wants you to be lookwarm. Revelation chapter three,
verse sixteen says, because you are lookwarm, I will vomit
you out of my mouth. Jesus doesn't call us to comfort,
He calls us to the cross. And the gospel that
we believed is the gospel that produces disciples. Jesus didn't
say believe in me and stay the same. He said
(06:26):
follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
The real gospel does three things. It rescues you, It
refines you, and it releases you into the mission of
Jesus Christ. So it rescues you from sin death. It
refines you through sientification, and it releases you into the
mission through service. The gospel that stops at saving you
(06:49):
from hell but doesn't make you like Jesus is incomplete.
This is why we must redefine what faith really is.
It's not just a mental agreement. It's the daily allegiance.
It's not just what you believe, it's who you're becoming.
The call of Jesus, the call of his disciples, and
the call of gen The Baptist was too repentance. You
(07:09):
are not saved to sit, you are not called to coast.
You're not just free to feel better. You are set
free to live fully for God. If you've fallen into
this trap of casual Christianity, wake up today, repent, return,
rekindle your fire Romans twelfth one. It says, present your
(07:30):
bodies as a living sacrifice, your whole life on the altar.
Don't be a consumer of Christian content, be a carrier
of his presence. Please don't fall for this trap. Don't drift,
don't settle. You were not born to blend in. You
were born to burn for Jesus. Rise up, reject this
(07:51):
trap and walk boldly with God. Become a disciple, a follower.
And I'm not talking about that you watch Chosen and
follow Jesus on x or Instagram or you have a
Bible app, but that your life is being sold out.
This is not a radical Christianity. This is a normal Christianity.
(08:12):
That's all the Christianity Jesus offers us. It's not the beginner.
And then if you want to get radical, you become radical.
Jesus invited people to follow him, so it's time to
do that. Thank you for watching this video. I hope
that you were encouraged, challenged and hurt my burden that
I have in my heart. I have a book called

if they lost that. Make sure you check it out.
