//EN Distance is the keyword of the pandemic days that we are spent confined at home; for those who have one. A word that is completely the opposite of proximity – a principle that is essential for the experience of Altofest. Distance is a word that belongs to the category of space. We try to convert it to a waiting, which is a word that belongs to the category of time. In our specific case, the Altofest community is not only physically distant but we are all together waiting to meet and celebrate what should have been the tenth birthday of Altofest. For this reason, we activated this space for conversation and reflection, together with space donors, resident hosts, citizens of the Hovering City, that has been home to the Altofest community since 2011. To the microphones Anna Gesualdi and Giovanni Trono, creators and directors of Altofest. concept, editing and run by Gesualdi | Trono graphic design Luca Mercogliano / Manifatture Digitali For the opening and closing jingle, we would like to thank the Collettivo Amigdala: a fragment of environmental registration of “Elementary”, a performance by the Collettivo Amigdala, recorded at the Pietà de’ Turchini Foundation – Naples, Chiesa S. Caterina da Siena, on the occasion of Altofest 2018.
