Nasreddin Hodja, diventato oggi un’icona popolare, fu in realtà un personaggio realmente vissuto in Turchia nel XIII secolo. Queste brevi storie che, senza saperne il motivo, hanno preso vita mettendo al centro della loro narrazione la figura di questo strano filosofo, si sono tramandate nei secoli e hanno fatto il giro del mondo, acquistando sfumature e dettagli ogni volta diversi, tanto che, non a caso, uno dei racconti che presentiamo qui è apparso anche nella puntata dedicata alle fiabe africane a testimonianza di come la tradizione orale abbia sviluppato, in tempi e luoghi anche lontani, varianti infinite.
