I'm Lawrence Pressman Art to Caesar and Joe and Area

(00:30):
are with me and Joe. Let's just I know everybody
has a narrative. So you were on the under in
the Washington Chicago game last night. I was on the over.
I suppose without question, you were right.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Let me hold on, let me look at the account ques.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yeah, I was right past because it actually paid out
into my That's just how works art, doesn't it.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Like when you guy there, you go, I was right.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Lucky, you were you were, I was dead, had wrong
and I had no bad luck lucky what lucky zero
as well as you do?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Day, Like, are you serious?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
You know how many unlucky that we end up getting
as well as long as they had.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
At the end of the year, we're good to go.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah, bros.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh oh, I'm with you there, bro. I won that
Philadelphia game with that block punt return.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Oh yeah, brother.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
But last night was one of those hallish nights for me.
I'm just going to start by doll and.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I went oho to five.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I had the Toronto maple Leafs and regulation they out
shot Detroit thirty extra shots. They couldn't get it done.
Goaltender stood on his head. I had the under in
the Florida Panthers game. It was two to one with
six minutes to go in the game. Uh. And then
I had the under the over in the Chicago Washington

(01:54):
game and while there were about seventy points left on
the table.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
So that was my night.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
But it all cascaded and it's over and done with,
and we're gonna find some betting information now, aren't. I mean,
you see this all the time with some of your
savvy betters. I would say I probably have five horrific
days like that a year.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
You see it all the time.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
I see it every day, And just speaking about that total,
forty nine was like the worst number for us because
we took we took under money. Now seriously, we took
under money at fifty and forty nine. We even got
to as low as forty eight and a half, so
we took some over money there closed at forty nine,

(02:41):
and then anyone who even bet forty nine, obviously they're
getting their money back on a refund. Forty nine the
worst number possible for us on a total. Doesn't happen
a lot for totals. Sometimes you can get jammed up
on a side, but it just that's the way fell.
The game was good for US, Chicago winning outright, losing outright,
all those type of things were good, but not a

(03:03):
good result on that total.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Guys in our fate or not made section, we're gonna
look at last place teams in the AFC tomorrow we'll
do the NFC. But Art, I do want to ask
you about this Buffalo team and Joe your thoughts really
quickly on Buffalo. I know Art, Joe you were not
a fan of Atlanta coming into this game last night,

(03:26):
especially their coach as a favorite. What do we make
of Buffalo not showing up and really having two bad
games in a row.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
Two bad games in a Row, no doubt. I think
everything falls on the defense. The defense does not look
great and I know they've had injuries and they got
some guys back, but that needs a lot of work.
I think Buffalo will be fine moving forward. But the
NFL is just that way. You know, Atlanta can go
out and lose what thirty to nothing to Carolina and

(04:00):
then pretty much dominate Buffalo at home. That's the NFL
for you.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, Joe, it.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Was it was two guys that that beat them yesterday,
two guys at all.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
It was Drake London and Robinson. That was it.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
They they both combined for over three hundred yards of
total art Outs had had one of those guys, like,
you know, pull the hamstring of something.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I don't know where the offense was.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Coming from for Atlanta, but Buffalo's problem continues to be
what it's been for the last couple of years is
they have absolutely nobody threatening to stretch the field. Coleman
is a waste. I mean, there's only so many passes
you can throw to the guy coming out of the slot.
In Shakir, they have nobody, and now guys are stock

(04:49):
in the box because they know they're going to try
to run because they can't throw anything else. They need
a deep threat, they need a J. Brown, they need
a change of scenery.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Maybe me aj Brown once out of Philadelphia, that's sure, yep,
I mean yeah. Imagine being a wide receiver. You have
like one, you know, ten years in your life. You
never get it back, you can never be young again.
You get drafted by a team who doesn't throw the ball.
Crazy art l Let's start there. Then we'll go to

(05:23):
college football. Where is the money? Colts and Chargers, Packers
and Cardinals, Panthers and Jets for.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Us in Colts Chargers. Very interesting game. Obviously, both teams
have come off a win. Culture continue to roll Chargers
back in the fall with a good win on the road,
even against a bad team. This was a look ahead
line as high as five and a half. Chargers are
now one and a half point home favorite. In this game, Colts,
I think are gonna see a lot of money and teasers.

(05:53):
They're going to get them up over seven with a
six point teaser to get them seven and a half.
I think though this will see good two way. I
could see two way action on the side, and I
think the public will be betting the over. We haven't
gotten there yet. There's been no move so far on
the total for US, but I think this is gonna
be an over game that the public attacks green Bay
at Arizona. You know, green Bay is six and a

(06:14):
half point favorite. I think eventually we'll hit seven on this. Obviously,
green Bay is gonna be popular moneyline parlays and all
the teasers. We will need Arizona desperately in the game.
I don't think there's any question about that. And then
you know, a real poop factor type of game. But
it is an NFL game and people are gonna bet
this game. Jets in a look aheadline where one and

(06:37):
a half point favorites, we reopen Carolina minus one. It's
already been bet up to Carolina minus two. So very
interesting to see the line movement on that type of game.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah, I would rather dowge my eyes out than watch
that game.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
How about the college football though, some interesting games and
already some interesting line movement early on in this week.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Yeah, no doubt about it. Georgia Tech and Duke is
a very fascinating game. Obviously, Georgia Tech is still trying
to make their playoff Push and Duke. As i've mentioned
basically since we started the show has been kind of
a darling for the whys and sharp type of guys.
They've been on Duke early this year. We opened Duke
as a three point home favorite, but we saw Georgia
Tech money at three and two and a half. We're

(07:24):
now Duke minus one and a half. We've yet to
see the Duke buy back. I think they'll even come
in and lay the money line with Duke minus won twenty.
Haven't seen it yet, but I wouldn't be I'd be
shocked if we don't see it. Let me just say
that SMU took money. They are at Clemson. Clemson. We
opened minus ten, but we saw SMU take money at
ten and nine and a half, and then there was

(07:46):
some Clemson money this morning at nine, so moved us
back to nine and a half on that game over
money on that game at fifty four and a half.
Suspected to be a lot of points in that game,
so they're going to continue bet that game over. I
think even the public we'll bet that game over. And
then Northwestern after their big win, they were four point

(08:08):
opening home favorites against Purdue, produce all money at four
and three and a half got us to three on
that game. There was a little bit of a nibbleback
on Northwestern at minus three, but the initial sharp money
was on Purdue over the field goal and also under
money at forty eight and a half on that game.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Yeah, one of those sharp guys that love Duke was
the pres I will give him credit. I won't give
him credit very often here on the show, but that
was one of his favorite.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
You know, ahead of the season plays there was Duke.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Are you seeing any overreaction to Indiana beating Oregon? Are
you expecting a whole lot of public money, maybe recency
bias to come rolling in here Art.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
That's a great question, Joe, and I think what you'll
see with the Indiana stuff is I'm not saying they
won't bet am moving forward. They probably will, but this
always happens after a big win in both the NFL
and especially college. You see them Sunday and Monday bet
to win.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
The national championship.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
So they're now saying, oh wait, look at Indiana, maybe
we need to get a ticket on them. Now they've
completely missed the number. But it doesn't stop people from
wanting to jump in and say I'm holding in Indiana
to win a national championship ticket, despite, like I said,
the number being long gone.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Yeah, baby, Parlay of the day. I was fascinated with
that conversation, Yes, especially that we had to tape it twice, Yes,
because we forgot to tape it the first damn time. Okay,
that's okay, Joe. It happens, Dude, it happens.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
You're a good man play anyway, So go ahead, we're good.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Parlay other day, I'm going with the same one I
gave out the first time we didn't tape it. The
Anaheim Mighty Ducks minus won forty on the money line.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
And they're still the Mighty Ducks to me.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
I don't know, Art, what are you going with?

Speaker 5 (10:10):
I'm going with the Oilers is a short road favorite
against the Rangers. They have problems scoring. I think the
Oilers will win in Madison Square Garden tonight.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
All right, Well, since the President Toronto Blue Jays shit
the bed on us yesterday, I need the Dodgers to
at least go seven games in this series. I need
the Brewers to win here tonight. I think they'll get
it done with good old Freddie p on the mound,
so it'll be Brewers for me here tonight Press.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I got it, dude, I'm with you. I got to
tell you though, had we have taped the first part
of the day, Art would have had a ten cent
better line than he currently has. Lots of money coming
in on the oilers right now.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Art to Caesar is so nice. Find Art. What's going
on over at the Westgate?

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Listen, man, rock and Rolling on NHL going on, obviously
the playoffs, both football got NBA next week, so a
lot happening over at the West Gate. You know, just
come down check us out.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
Art to Sezear everyone, Art, thanks for doing this, brother.
We'll see you tomorrow on the best betting show ever.
Art to Seizear Joe. Okay, we got four more segments
to go, two minutes each segment. Joe and I will
give out a college football a best bet, an NFL
best bet. I'll go down every NHL game of the board.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Joe.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Yesterday, I think if you faded my NHL every game
on the board, I think you might have been perfect.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Well, now you're really throwing a wrench into it, because
what do you do now?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Do you back it? Do you fade it?

Speaker 4 (11:45):
You're gonna have to wait and see that it's only
one day though, I mean it's a long season. B Yeah,
long season.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
We only have six more months of this, right, ridiculous
longer than six yeah, number to eight more months of
seven and a half months, no.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Half of October.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Eight months of NHL betting still ahead of us, that's
for sure. Okay, before we get into the rest of
the show, let's talk some business.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Joe Ranieri, it's.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Five dollars Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
What do you got going?

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Actually, I have two five dollars plays for Folk Express,
one in Major League Baseball for the game tonight between
the Bruise and the Dodgers, and we got one in
college football that is going to be an absolute blowout
this week. So both of those are available up at
wager talk dot com press.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I also have two up this week for five dollars Tuesday.
I've got an NHL play up tonight, and I have
a four percent in college football and my four percent
plays are incredible, Joe, seven and three run in college
football and four percent plays and I'm sixty four in
these plays since the start of twenty twenty five. So yeah,

(13:05):
they're all only five dollars. Okay, brother, let's queue the clock.
Let's get to some college football. I'll go first. Okay,
so where are we going here? We're going with the
Yukon plus one and a half against Boston College. Here's
a perfect example of two teams heading in the complete
opposite direction, and the market it's just starting to wake up.

(13:30):
I'm talking about Boston College versus Yukon. Yes, sir, let's
start with PC, and let's be blunt. This team is
fundamentally broken. The numbers are damning. On average, their offense
scores eight points less than their opponents usually give up,
and their defense it gives nine. It allows nine more

(13:52):
points than their opponents usually score.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
This is a horrible matrix.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
On the other side, you've got a FOURIGN two Yukon
team that is solid, well coached, and consistently per orbs.
In other words, we can count on them. They hold
a statistical advantage in almost every important category in this game.
My numbers of Yukon minus seven and a half, we
get them plus one and a half. That's like nine off.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Take the Huskies.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Take them to win this game, and throw a little
bit on the money line from me, Joe.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Ooh love it all right, Prez I am going to
go with a game coming up in a couple of
in a couple of days here because the market is
telling you exactly what they think of this team, and
that team is Minnesota and the Golden Golfers. As they
were a five and a half maybe a six point
underdog to Matt Roll in Nebraska, they are narrow a

(14:46):
nine point underdog at home to Matt Roll in Nebraska.
That tells you just about exactly what the market thinks
of Minnesota, and I agree with them.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
I think PJ.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Fleck and company are on their way out. I think
it's time maybe for a little bit of change. They
are in Minnesota in the meantime, five and one Nebraska,
although not without its faults, much better heads and tails
above anything that Minnesota is going to bring to the table.
So I know it's at nine praz but my number

(15:18):
made it double digits anyway, So I'm good went backing
Nebraska to get it done against Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
There we go, Let's keep it moving and have al
best bets. And I told you at the beginning of
the show that I think the New York Jets of
the play this week, and that's where I'm going to go.
They're playing a Carolina team that well play in the
best Bowl they have played in a long while. They
just beat Dallas and Miami. They won three of their
last four games. Coincidentally, all three.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Of those were at home.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
And yes, Carolina has won a road game in the
last decade. I did notice that they won a game
forty four to thirty against Atlanta on January fifth, so
you might want to mark that up because that was
their last road win. This is not a road traveling team.

(16:11):
And the bottom line here is the New York Jets. Yeah, horrible,
kick it out of their own way, find ways to
lose constantly. They could have beat Denver, they could have
beat Miami, they could have beat Tampa Bay, they could
have beat Pittsburgh. Now I know they didn't, but this
is a team that could be four and two if

(16:31):
the bounces went the right way, and if well, they
weren't the New York Jets, Joe, I think this is
the game they win, and I think they win them outright.
Take the Jets on the money line and I lean
on the.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Over what that is gross and I like it there,
Praz but I've lost far too much heart, soul and
money on those Jets. Let's keep it simple here. I
do not trust the Pittsburgh Steelers at four and one.
I think it's totally deceiving, and the fact that Cincinnati
was able to keep it as close as they were

(17:03):
against Green Bay with Joe Flacco at quarterback. Listen, it
has been a history situation here with Tomlin and the Steelers.
Right when they play the really tough teams, Pittsburgh shows
up when they play the crap teams. They can't cover
a nosebleed here. It's time and time again. It's the
biggest knock on Tomlin and Pittsburgh. Something tells me this

(17:27):
game is going to be separated by nothing more than
a field goal.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Pres Well, there you go, Joe, I agree with you
on that, and well I.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Never cheer for an Aaron Rodgers team anyway.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Joe, let's keep going and HL rundown every game of
the board. We got a bunch eight tonight, New York
Rangers hosting the Edmonton Oilers. A lot of money coming
in on Edmonton here. I like the over in this game, Joe.
I'm looking to bet Edmonton games over with the horrible
goaltending and they're incredible power play and I think the

(18:01):
Rangers can keep up. I think both these teams can
get us to three. Take the over. Washington playing Tampa Bay.
I like Tampa Bay in the spot. Joe Washington two
wins in a row. Tampa Bay there, this is gonna
be one of the best teams in hockey. Sneaky Goods,
Stanley Cup contender. I think they get it done tonight.

(18:22):
It's a pick them take Tampa Bay. Nashville playing Toronto.
An unbelievable amount of money has been bet on Nashville.
They were Toronto is minus two to ten last night.
They are now minus one seventy four at one book.
I think the Leafs get it done tonight. I would
take them in regulation. Seattle playing Montreal. I don't want

(18:43):
to play the home opener in Montreal for Montreal. I'd
rather play it with Seattle. I actually think Seattle wins
this game. Plus one thirty five dog. Vegas playing Calgary.
I like the under in this game. I like the
under in all Calgary games. Minnesota play in Dallas minus
two hundred. I would take a flyer on Minnesota. I

(19:05):
know they are in a back to back situation coming
up of a nice win yesterday. But Dallas just played
Colorado and Winnipeg. This is not a good spot, but
Dallas take the dog in Minnesota, Carolina playing San Jose.
San Jose has not been behind all year. Might as
well keep riding that or plus two hundred and eighty

(19:27):
will take the dog and Pittsburgh playing Anaheim. I love
the docks here. This is my second favorite play on
the entire board. Joe ran Ay. We got our male
bag segment of the show, and one of our listeners'
rights is Joe on percosets. So let's address that right

(19:50):
off the bat.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Go ahead, what perk assets in?

Speaker 4 (19:56):
I don't, yeah, jos as he actually ever just curious,
not sure that I would associate my demeanor with percocet,
but okay, I mean to their own one.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
So we know that I love my drugs.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
I don't even what is perkose. What does it do?

Speaker 4 (20:15):
It's a painkiller and no, it's a painkiller, and it
would You're right though, I mean I could see me being.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Worked with me, Joe, right, That's what.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
I mean, being stuck between you and Brian Power did
have percosent written all over it yesterday. But the answer
is no, no, no, definitely not not on the percocet.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Joe.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Another listener, Merlin asks, if you want to know how
amazing the press is, just ask him.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
So please, Joe, go ahead.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Press how amazing is the press?

Speaker 1 (20:44):
The most amazing person you'll ever find out in your life.
I mean he is kind, sweet, loving, a great other
and incredible husband, a better friend, and just a sports
betting god. Thank you for asking that question. Joe really
really appreciate you. A lot of people got mad at
Brian Power yesterday because he mentioned a gentleman. Yeah, that

(21:13):
is on the wrong team. Everybody needs to relax a little.
We're professional betters, not fantasy sport players.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
But he wasn't playing in the game, so it's not
like he gave out a prop the guy. No, he's
not on that team anymore. He's not playing like he
was in the game.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
So case in point, Joe, was a horrible day yesterday, dude,
I mean, can you believe I go to the Beliefs,
they lose. I go to the Blue Jays, they lose.
I come home and watch Florida Panthers go over. Then
I watched the Washington game. Stay under well, I'm glad
yesterday is over and done with. Tomorrow another show me

(21:54):
Art and Joe and Airy. Thursday and Friday, Brian Power
will be hosting This Day Us all the way through. Guys,
make sure to hit the like button, make sure to
subscribe to our channel, and please comment in the comment
section Joe, you picked the word of the day.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
The word of the day is fade. It's fade there it.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Goes, So we're going to see a whole lot of
people write fade pres in the comment secton well done, Joe.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Later everyone, what's a love and let's all win together.
