Then either you pushed me towards Texas. CT bets pushed
me towards Texas. But then realizing that Colin Klein could
not beat Texas was like my final breaking point over
at CT's mom's house last night. I did give it
out with Ariel on Thursday as well, but I didn't
love it as much as I loved it prior to
kick off, and it looked gross there early on. Texas

couldn't get anything going. Finally got the running game going
and they ran all over the Aggies. Welcome In Kel.

Can I just say something real quickly, say whatever I want.
I've never seen a group of fans celebrate over a
win in my life like I've seen the Chicago Bears
because they beat the Philadelphia Eagles. Like those fans are
going nuts, like it's the only bet we've ever given
in our lives.

And the crazy thing have anything to do with one
game sample size. It has to do with not being winners.
Winners don't act like that. You don't see Alabama fans
losing their minds over a one game sample size or
an eight game sample size. They have not done anything
in my lifetime. These poor people. Please remember there is
still the same ones that try to get me canceled

and got me fired out for the ESPN, right, these
people are mini losers.

I just believe they're still celebrating that way. I'm like,
I'm nine.

or wrong on the Eagles.

And guess what we're talking about Thanksgiving games. I asked
you guys to preview the games. I admitted I had
been dead wrong about this team all season long. They
have one of the worst dvoas that we've seen in
the last three decades, and it does not matter. They
just keep winning football games. So congratulations Chicago Mirrors.

I went six and three yesterday. I hit a five
percent on Texas. I'm happy. I don't know what all
the sadness is for. They should be celebrating their man instead,
they're angry.

I don't have a lot to celebrate about, but I
also am not a completely delusional person about what my
team is and what they're capable of. So hey, congratulations

were in Detroit leaving the casino. He was arguing with me, Dan, Alexander,
Andy Lang and he was saying that Caleb Williams is
going to be a better quarterback than Jalen Hurts. And
you know what, yesterday he got to be right.

Yeah, yesterday was there's a couple other things I want
to touch on before we get in here.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I said, I was going to wait till there's a
thousand people in the stream before I gave out the
needs from the West Gate. And I like to do
that before you come on. That way we can kind
of qualify, Okay, here's what the book needs, here's what
you're seeing. And then the things that kind of start
to overlap was where I really start to make a
couple extra bets, maybe from my long list that I
already had just enough to shove me to the window.

But I saw a tweet last night and it was
in regard to people, try to compare when you should
go for two, when you should kick the field goal,
when you should score the touchdown? Right, should you kick
the field goal? Missed field goal? By the way, the
Eagles missed it anyway, so it didn't matter. Should you
try to kick that field goal? Should try to score
the touchdown? And this guy was comparing it to blackjack,

(04:25):
and another one of the guys chimed in and said, yeah,
but you took the dealer's bus card. That doesn't matter.
And I said, you know what, I'm gonna ask VR
about blackjack this morning on last call, because I understand
the math. I understand that, yes, sometimes they could take
the dealer's bus card. Sometimes they can take the dealer's
card that they then somehow pull a magical five card

(04:46):
twenty one, right, But when you're playing advantage blackjack, trying
to compare that to football is ass nine in itself.
But I want to ask the advantage blackjack dealer. You're
sitting there at a table. You got old lady doesn't
hit fifteen against a seven because you know, she thinks
that the dealer may may not have a face card

(05:06):
or eather, or you have a person who does hit
their thirteen against the sixteen and then gets a face card.
Talk to me a little bit about that, because that's
the kind of stuff I find to be very intriguing,
because at the end of the day, the guy's arguing,
math is math is math. It doesn't matter if it's
black check, doesn't matter if it's football.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Well, back in the day, I think he's kind of right.
And here's what I mean. Back in the day, I
would actually, if I'm keeping the count and like you said,
someone's on the side they have a twenty five dollars bet,
I have a thousand dollars bet with a double down,
and I know the deal that the deck is rich
and tens and they got a more bus cards than not.
Back in the day, I swear to you so many

times I'm like, dude, please don't hit that. I'll pay
your bet win or lose you one, Like, here's your
twenty five, pretend you won. Let me let the dealer
play this out. But all that did was attract.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Attention to it when I was right, and that wasn't
a good thing.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
And more importantly, the more I started hanging out in
the circles of true advantage, blackjack players, like guys that
are actually in like Blackjack Hall of Fame type guys.
They all said the same thing, It doesn't matter what
anyone else does is irrelevant. Also, you're going to have
this selective memory. You're going to remember the time that

(06:20):
they burned you, but you're not going to remember the
time they made a bad move and helped you. So
you just got to let that go and play your
hand and let them do what they're gonna do. As
far as comparing it to football, it comes down to
the math. I'm gonna play my hand the way the
math dictates me to play it. I can't just determine
that for anybody else. And I think with football it's

(06:41):
the same, what's the math say what is the best
course of action? But you also have to factor what
we can't quantify. A coach knows how his team's playing,
he knows how they're feeling, he knows if they're confident
or not. So I think you also have to be
able to separate the math from human nature. And sometimes

(07:02):
the math will say go for it, but your players
don't look like they're ready to go for it, And
I think at that time the coach should have the
like guts to follow through with his own intuition. That's
what I believe, because again we're always going to critique
it afterwards and be right and more importantly, the math
guys are always going to stick to. Just trust the mat,

(07:23):
Just trust the mat. But I live in the real
world where sometimes the long term doesn't pan out because
we don't live that long. So it's always the long
term we talk about, but sometimes we may not get there.

So cha cuiche. That's why I also live in the
ror world, and I just keep that foot on the gas.
We just if you're hot, you press the you press
the gasp. You're starting to lose, you just take your
foot off the gas. You never all gas, no breaks though.

one is Louisville, Number two is Virginia, Number three is Army,
Number four is Kansas State and this one says Louisiana, Louisiana.

Okay, Yeah, wonder is that ull? Okay?

I think he's saying ull because early STEM came in
on ULM. They were betting that from like plus eleven
and a half down, so they probably have a lot
of risk from sharps on ULM. But I know they
came back and laid ull the other day. In fact,
I bet it. I bet Louisiana Lafayette I think minus seven.

And then not surprising, he's saying that Louisville is in need.
I'm seeing it's weird because you see that line drop
from like four down to one.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
So it's all that Kentucky ship sharp money.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
That's a that's forcing them to like Louisville because it's
not the.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Public that's betting Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
It's not like you have a bunch of recreational betters
that are taking Kentucky at plus one. So I think
that's all sharp money related. I think Armies the same
exact thing. It's all sharp money related because another team
that I don't think is getting a bunch of money
at the window, like they're not fading getting in line.
The bet Army against Texas San Antonio today when it's
Ohio State and Michigan, So I think those are all sharp.

(09:28):
The Louisville Army ull Case State, I saw that as well,
and also Case State got sharp money also against Colorado.
And finally that Virginia. Where's that Virginia.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Virginia Virginia Tech. Yeah, I'm on Tech today. That one
kind of makes me a little nervous. I'm buying. I'm
buying the Hokies here to play spoiler. Virginia gets to
basically see a their deal to the ACC Championship game
if they get to win.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
So yeah, I like Virginia. I like Virginia.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
There's a long and I don't think it's warranted the
way they're driving that line down on Virginia Tech. Like
I'm ready to buy the seven on Virginia because it's
minus one.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Oh fine, and I'm at.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Ten and a half from when we did bet on
it Wednesday, so it's like, maybe I come back in
at the seven and a half. I got a nice
three point middle. We'll see how the next couple of
hours pan out. Here's the top five sharp plays from
the West Gate, ULM, wake Forest, Marshall, Louisiana Tech, and
Middle Tennessee State. No games I'm interested in. It's really

(10:35):
funny because you see that I'm watching the chat just
go absolutely nuts right now. You know what they want
to talk about. They want to talk about Ohio State, Michigan.
They don't want me talking about this stuff. They don't
care about wake Forest, they don't care about ULM VR.
But this is where the respected money is going. And
they're probably not betting Michigan Ohio City.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Of course not absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
The only time you're ever going to get the bettingson
getst the bet game like that is if it gets
knocked out of whack, meaning all the betting the public's
on one side.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
The books have so much risk that.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
They're forced to significantly adjust, which opens up value on
the other side, and then they'll get involved.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Otherwise.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
They're more interested in UTEP against Delaware because it's them
versus the books, and they believe that their numbers are
more efficient on Delaware and UTEP than the book's numbers are.
Where with Michigan and Ohio State, that line's going to
be really, really tight. That's why you're seeing it not
much of a line movement, right, It's been sitting at

(11:34):
that ten for a long time, maybe juice one way
or the other, and it tells you just how tight
those lines are. In fact, the total hasn't even moved
forty four. You're looking at forty three and a half.
So it's a perfect example of an efficient market. Inefficiency
is when you see line moves. That's what we as
betters want to see. We want to see the book

(11:55):
scrambling to move lines because that means they don't have
a lot of confidence in their numbers, means their numbers
are beatable. But when you're looking at a game like that,
attracting so much volume and very little line movement, that's
the book telling you at eleven to ten, you don't
have an edge. We're good booking it. We're fine booking it.

(12:15):
Keep laying eleven to ten. We're comfortable. That's what that's
telling me. So those games are scary. Again, you had
a fifty to fifty chance MINEU is big Team may
or Team B. But that is the truth that with
those kind of games, the line really is efficient. Personally,
Ohio State's the better team. Obviously they're the much better team. Uh,

(12:36):
it's just what are we going to get out in Michigan.
Power rating wise, Ohio State should probably be an eleven
eleven and a half point favorite on the road, even
with the solid Michigan defense because they've had a weak
strength of schedule Michigan has, so like Ohio State can
go in there and cover this number count easily. It's
will they get it done?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Line says no. I mean, I'm seeing nothing discounts.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
On the Ohio State side, and all the books I
spoke to said they're heavy on Ohio State, heavy Ohio
State on teasers, heavy Ohio State money line parlays, and
heavy on Ohio State even minus the points. So it'll
be interesting to see how that game turns out. Personally,
I don't I don't have a bet on that gun

(13:22):
the head. I would probably take the points because this
is Michigan Super Bowl, and for Ohio State, all they
have to do is win the game. They don't need
style points. You're number one in the nation, top power
rated team. You just got to get the W on
the road. So for me, I would take Michigan or
pass and maybe Michigan first half actually, because the Cream

(13:43):
usually rises to the top. So you're going to get
a big effort from Michigan early, but systematically, like a
heavyweight fight, Ohio State, the talent should be able to
start breaking Michigan down in the second half.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
If I like bet.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Michigan, I'd break my bet down first half in full game.
If I like State, I would just bet them for
the game and hope they turn it into a blowout.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Okay, we're gonna get into more of these games. Here
with the other part of the trio of bet on,
Marco DiAngelo here in just a couple of minutes, is
gonna answer all your college football questions. Don't worry, I
got them start. We're gonna get to all of them.
But I want to talk about some of the most
public plays today from the West Gate. We've got Vanderbilt, Clemson,
Rutgers that's kind of a weird one, Rutgers getting some

love in the marketplace, and then of course Alabama. Are
any of those that you are seeing on your end
of things.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
I'm seeing so much love for Alabama, like they are
loving Alabama and they're loving Missouri like those two stick
Missouri sticks out like they're betting Missouri honestly, like they
have tomorrow's newspaper. Like the the next second bet most
bet that I'm seeing in like a square sports book
is you don't see this on a normal Saturday like

(14:57):
usually see that the most one sided get like eighty
five percent and then the one second behind it like
eighty three eighty two.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
This is more like what's it called is in the
missouris in the.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Like nineties percent of the money and tickets, and the
next second most bet team, which is Ohio State, is
in like the seventies. So it's like a huge gap
in how one sided Missouri is at least seeing from
some of the square books. And you know what else,
one team total that they're betting like it's free money,
and I'd be very cautious. It's Ohio State over team total.

(15:33):
They're betting that over twenty seven and a half and
they haven't gone to twenty eight. In fact, they juiced
it up the minus one thirty and now they brought
it down to minus one twenty, so they're giving you
a discount even though they were willing to lay one
thirty to go over twenty seven and a half. So
be careful thinking that it's automatic Ohio State's going to

(15:54):
put up, you know, thirty plus on Michigan because the
one thing that Michigan does have is defense.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Get the offense.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
I don't know if the offense could keep them in
the game, but the defense could definitely keep them in
the game. So I'd be cautious on that. That Ohause
State team total. That looks like free money.

I do lean to Ohio State. The problem is, you know,
since Ryan Day has been there, Michigan has been inside
their heads, you know, And this is one of those
ones where what I would do if you absolutely have
to bet this game, I would bet the game. I
would live bet it, and I would watch Ohio State,

you know, the first couple drives and see how they're
handling it. If you know, if you see the confidence
with Ohio State they are the better team, then I
wouldn't have a problem jumping in live. But because they're
inside their head I can't go full game out of
the gate with Ohio State. The line. The fact that
it's staying at nine and a half at most of

the key books, it's not bouncing back to ten tells
you that there is enough respected money on Michigan. So
I am on the sidelines in this one. Sorry, guys,
you don't have to bet every game, but I know
they want to bet those big TV games.

So let's talk about Miami Pittsburgh. I got Miami under
nine ones, not my greatest bet, Marco minus one thirty.

Miami offense. That's my concern in this game. Now, if
you want to read the market, the fact that you know,
when I went to bed last night, most of the
books were at seven. There was a couple of rogues
six and a halfs I saw a lot of six

and a half's all over the place this morning. The
money has come in on pit. Does that necessarily mean
it's the correct money? You know, pitt has done everything
right except the game they played against you know, Notre Dame.
And we know what Pat Nardoozy said before that game.

The only thing that mattered were those two A C
C games left on the schedule. Well, they got the
job done in the first one last week against Georgia Tech.
But Georgia Tech, their defense is, you know, not good.

sometimes you just got to throw the stats out when

it's these rivalry games. But you know, as far as
Pitt goes, they haven't faced The passing attack is potent
as Miami of Florida's and I think that's gonna be
the difference in this game. Do they get to cover

go up and down the field. Just look at the
total in this game. But you know, Vanderbilt, you know

you about the big brother little brother matchups. Vanderbilt's always
been the little brother in this matchup. Surprisingly, in the

last nine meetings, Vanderbilt is actually six and three against
the spread, But oftentime Vanderbilt had been a big dog

But then we saw after that that Penn State had
its problems this year. So yes, that was an impressive

of its luster as the season played out for Penn State.
Then they beat two cupcakes on the road, Rutgers in
Northwestern Those two teams are not good, you know, one
doesn't have a good offense, one doesn't have a good defense.
And they took care of business with those two. But
the other formable team that they played on the road

was Iowa, Okay, and they only beat Iowa by two.
And when you look at the teams that the Penn
State in the Iowa game, what do those two teams
have in common? They got good defenses. Okay, playing at home.
What do you have with Washington? You got a good defense.
Washington's only allowed more than twenty one points I think

twice this year, and nobody has scored more than twenty
five on them. And when you talk about some of
the teams that get intimidated by Oregon, that's not Washington.
These two teams met all the time from their days
in the Pac twelve. In fact, they've met four times

few of them for today that haven't quit on their season.

No, absolutely, and we saw that the last two weeks
with what Penn State did, where everybody wrote them off.
And here's the problem that people do when they go
through the season, and especially like when you get to
this last week and we talk about different things with
rivalry games. Now obviously this isn't a big rivalry game,
but they remember what they saw early in the season

and they draw a conclusion and then they never change
their mind. But teams go through transition, and you know,
college basketball is the perfect sport for that because you
have such turnover in college basketball. You know players are
won and done and they move on. So at the
beginning of the season, a team might not be good
and that's all people remember. But as the season progresses

and those younger players mature and fit in to the
you know, the game plans, they get better as the
season goes on, but the public still thinks they're that
team they saw in September. And that's what you're seeing
right now with Oklahoma State the last month, the month
of November is not the same team you saw in September,

and they are playing hard, but they're still being priced
like that September team. So, Kelly, yes, there is value
with Oklahoma State today.

These two teams hate each other. In UNLV's problem this
year not the offense. They could score on anybody. Their

They came and played hard last week and defense shut
down Hawaii. But again, we know that sometimes teams that
come to Vegas, college kids twenty years old, you know
that really don't have a lot to play for sometimes

the top plays in one each of the last two days,

we'd waited for for weeks, and it came to us
playing against Detroit. I was waiting for the Pistons to

They lost Wednesday, I said, I'm playing against them the

it just so happened it was a better team than
the Orlando Magic, so that was okay.

won my best bet each of the last two days. Thursday,
it was the over in the Chiefs Cowboys yesterday, or
Lando Magic outright over the Detroit Pistons the NBA. We
have our four percent CFB Game of the week going

college football players I only play overall for Saturday.

even though they're undefeated. That's really just appalling in my opinion.
