Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in to the opening line report. I cannot believe yesterday,
but we're gonna get into it because I've got some
grievances to air with Teddy Covers here about the results
of the games. And that's what we get into. We
get in here Monday morning. We talked about what happened
last week, we talked about Monday Night football. We're gonna
talk about what you need to be betting headed into
(00:21):
this week. This is our handy dandy siren. You guys
are new here. This is an emergency betting alert tool
for when Teddy says, if you like this game, you
better be open up your sportsbook apps right now. Let's
bring in Teddy Covers. Teddy Happy Monday Morning. I know
Monday mornings are always super chaotic and crazy. I told
our producer Dan Alexander before we started. I said, he said,
(00:42):
you know, Kelly, it's not like anything else to do
on Monday morning. I'm like, you know what the most
important thing is this show. We are the most important
thing because it is gonna be Week eight in the NFL.
I cannot believe that to say that out loud, that
we are not halfway through, but it feels like at
least one third of the way through the NFL season. Teddy,
(01:02):
how was your Sunday before we get into Monday Night football?
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Not great? You know, I went one to two yesterday
in the NFL. I won in baseball, so we were
able to split for the clients for the day. Uh. So,
I mean it was it was essentially a kiss your
sister weekend. Uh. You know, I think four and four Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
So nothing great. But at the same time, one of
the keys is I didn't bury everybody. When you have
(01:26):
a bad weekend, you know, or a mediocre weekend, if
you if you bury your clients, that's a problem.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
And luckily, knocked on wood, I've been able to avoid
the disaster weekend. Uh so far this season. You know,
you think by the end of the year maybe one
or two, one or two of them might happen. But
so far, so good in that regard. And of course
college football has been great, major and Major League baseball
has been great, so the fact that the NFL has
been decidedly mediocre, uh is mitigated by that. So, you know,
(01:56):
it's a no harm, no foul weekend, but nothing great.
And I'm expect going to make money in this stupid league.
Let's we can figure it out for this week.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Good. Great. The comment sections asked me where the coffee is.
It's right here. And that's why I'm getting a little
amped up this morning, because I'm not gonna lie teddy.
Weekends like yesterday are so like gut riching. They frustrate you.
Teams that you expect to play better play worse. Hand up.
My worst part of the weekend was teasers, and those
(02:24):
have been so good to me. Broncos ruined the teasers,
Dolphins ruined the teasers, and then the nightcap Falcons could
not keep it within eight and a half. So it
just kind of one of those weeks. Any advice for
everybody before we get started, how to kind of just
move past next week. This is Monday morning. We should
already be putting that in our rearview mirror.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Look, you're allowed to react to what happens. We're all human,
all right, you know, I'm human. You're human. We all
have our moments. You all get pissed off sometimes you
all think that we should have covered a game that
we didn't cover. How did that bet lose? I mean,
it's it's inevitable. Okay, it's gonna happen. It happens to me,
it happens to you, it happens to recor casual betters
where creationial better doesn't matter. How do you deal with it.
(03:04):
You take a breath, you have your moment, and then
you come back and get to work. I mean, that's
the only way to do it, you know. And if
you read the coaches, the quotes from some of these
coaches and players, they do the same thing. You know.
They have a crappy Sunday or everything went wrong. Guess
what we're gonna watch the film, you know, which is
for us. We're gonna go back and take a look
what do we do wrong, what do we do right?
And then we're gonna see we can correct it for
(03:25):
this week. And that's exactly what as better is that
we have to do so. And October, I'm telling you,
October is a time I've seen it and I've been
doing opening line reports for twenty plus years. I've been
doing NFL on a weekly basis since before I moved
to Las Vegas. I moved out here in nineteen ninety eight.
October is a time of year where you're gonna have
(03:45):
a couple of weekends where a all the favorites cash
and the books get buried or be none of the
favorite catch. You know you're gonna have outlier weekends. I
feel like more this month than any other month of
the NFLS, so I guess mentally I'm more prepared for it.
But I haven't gotten a whole lot of close games
(04:08):
to go my way twenty twenty five so far, and
I know that doesn't last forever. You know, I'm putting
the work in. I'm expecting the results of the weird
finishes at some point to get closer to fifty to
fifty than it's been for me this season, and when
that happens, I expect the result to turn.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
No, Teddy, You're absolutely right. Yesterday, after the one o'clock slid,
I felt pretty demoralized, but I said, hey, guess what,
CIRCA just released those college football lines. You still have
to get to work, so I did. Now I've got
a pair of Monday night football games. Yet again. I'm
kind of liking these doubleheaders, at least here on the
East Coast. I like the early start. I don't know
how you feel about it there on the West coast,
But I find it very interesting, at least from a
(04:46):
watchability perspective. Tampa Bay just getting no respect at this
point in time here in the marketplace, the lines where
were starting to even see six and a halves pop up.
And Shawn Michael from the comment section actually DMed me
earlier and he goes Kelly and I said, what do
you expect all the money line parlays are going to
be tied to Detroit? The books have to take a position.
(05:06):
Teddy talks me about this first Monday Night football game.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Sure, And of course before I talk about the two
games tonight, I just want to let you guys know
I do have a rare five percent big ticket going
this evening in MLB. I'm also involved in one of
these two games this evening. We got a promo code today.
It's real simple. Half off h a lfoff, half off,
take half off. Visit my pagew buzz backs last TC
(05:33):
to get that five percent big ticket in MLB tonight
or the package that includes the Monday Night football I'll
play and use promo code half off to take half
off of that package. When it comes to Lions and
the Bucks, a Detroit off a loss in the damn cambelllera.
But I think they're eleven and zero straight up eleven
(05:54):
and oh ats last eleven tries. The Betty Marcus are
interested in that because Detroit's off a loss. B the
Bucks injury issues, significant injury issues. Even with their receiving
core getting healthy or healthy er, that doesn't mean that
the rest of the team is getting healthier. That just
means it's some big name guys are coming back in
theory for Tampa to night, and of course the lines
(06:16):
and revenge. They lost at home to Tampa last year
in a game that they dominated in every way but
the scoreboard and the red zone execution. So there's been
a fair bit of Detroit support in the markets. Six
six and a half popping up, but six really the
prevailing number right now, and again we're likely to see
Detroit money, We're likely to see over money in the
(06:37):
first game before kickoff. I don't know if it's going
to be enough Detroit money and over money to push this.
We're not seeing a seven for this game, so it
doesn't get higher than six.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
And a half, all right, doesn't get higher than six
and a half. So if you like the Bucks, Teddy
would you recommend people buying them at six and a
half or is this just a point where there's I
feel like this is just so fishy. I know that's
the word arial Epsteine uses a lot, but it just seems,
you know, we've got Abuca coming back. Is Evan's going
(07:07):
to be one hundred percent? You keep hearing things about
the secondary for the Lions. This game is just really
kind of got my brain in a pretzel. I laid
five and a half in some of the contests with
the Lions. I hate that line. I know it sounds
crazy what we talked about last Monday night when you
gave out the Bears.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
So I had Detroit on my short list all week
and I did not end up pulling the trigger on
the true Okay, you know I was thinking and I
it just I wasn't. And look, the Lions could kill
him and it wouldn't shock me, but Tampa's a feighty
little team. I wasn't. You know. The more I thought
about it, and the more the line crept up, and
I'm just like, you know what, I got a stronger
(07:46):
opinion on the second game. Let's go there.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Okay, second game Houston Tech AND's at the Seattle Seahawks,
Sam Darnold, one of the more surprising quarterbacks of this season.
It's funny what happens when teams leave bad teams like
the New York and the New York Jets. That being said,
talk to me about the second Monday night football game.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Sure, and so we're seeing threes as a prevailing number.
There were a couple of three and a halfs. I
thought overnight we might see the market move to three
and a half. We have not done that. That hasn't
happened yet. I'm not sensing that it will. I think
it's going to hold three. With juice for Seattle total
sitting in the forty one range. There were forty and
a half's out there. Those have been bought up. I
(08:30):
wouldn't be surprised if we see a little bit more
over money. If you like the under, you can wait.
If you like the over, you might want to lock
in right now at forty one. And again, let me
talk about same thing with emergeny betting alerts. All right,
I'm not talking about my opinion for the game. I'm
talking about if you like this side, when is the
best time to bet it? Or if you like this total,
(08:51):
when is the best time to bet it? And for
Houston Seattle if you like it. If you like I
wouldn't argue. If you like the over, grab a forty
one now. If you didn't get a forty and a half,
I don't think you'll see better than that between now
and kickoff.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
All right, let's get into Thursday night football. One of
the losses that, thank goodness, Teddy somehow still covered the teaser,
Otherwise I might have went over the deep end was
the Vikings. I gave them out as my barking dog
on bet on it and Carson Wentz was so incredibly frustrating.
Then on the flip side, I felt like the Chargers
(09:29):
were that like wise guy. Everybody I knows on the
Chargers Colts made it easy for the teaser side of things.
Talk to me about Thursday night football. Chargers marched out
as a favorite once again here at home.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
So with all of these games, I'm gonna give you
a four sets of lines. I'll give you the look
ahead line. This is a betable line on these games
from last week. I used the Westgate super Book as
the opening numbers of four last week, so we can
see how much the one game affected the current marketplace.
Then I'll give you my powering number for every team
you know that includes home field edge and team at B.
(10:03):
It does not include anything situational. Then I'll give you
the opening numbers what we saw last night and I
wrote these down in the first half of Sunday Night
Football last night, and then we'll talk about where the
number is sitting right now and what we can expect
moving forward. So with Minnesota and the LA Chargers, look
aheadline chargers minus three total of forty three. I bet
(10:27):
against LA yesterday and on Minnesota, so I got one
right and one wrong. My powering number for the Chargers
in this game is three and a half, So I'm
off market on this one and on the wrong side
of three. Now, in my powering numbers, there's not extra
juice attached to the three, so this isn't the difference
(10:47):
between two and a half and three and a half.
My powerings is not as big as difference as it
is in the actual betting markets, because they're gonna hold
onto the three much longer, whereas my powering was gonna say,
all right, it's two and a half three or three
and a half minus one ten every way. But my
party number says the Chargers three and a half. The
market's open two and a half, forty three and a
half last night, and we've seen nothing but over money.
(11:10):
We're seeing threes popping up right now for La and
over up to forty four and a half, even forty
five at some books. And let's get that red light
out right here right now, all right, my number says
three and a half, It opened two and a half.
If you want the Chargers get a two and a
half right now. I don't, all right, I really don't.
(11:34):
The threes already popping I'm seeing two and a half
minus a quarter at a couple of books. So and
I wouldn't argue if you like the over bet it
right now as well, because that line is obviously from
forty from a look at a forty three to an
opener of forty three and a half to forty four
and a half slast forty five right now. But that
move's already taking place sidewise, it hasn't. Two and a
(11:54):
half for the Chargers is something that I'm not convinced
gonna be there a couple hours from now, Minnesota. I mean,
here's a quote about who we're going to see a
quarterback this week. You know from Kevin O'Connell after the
game quote, we got to see how he meaning Wentz
comes out health wise, because Wentz took a beating in
that game, as well as making a bunch of bad
(12:16):
throws that make you want to wring his neck. Quote.
We will see how McCarthy feels as well. On a
short week, We're gonna put together the best plan we
can that also includes the players available to us. You know,
Carson wentzay after the game quote, I gotta not throw
the ball to the other team. That would be great
Worth noting went to backup center last week, Blake Brandle
(12:38):
for the Vikings. And if you want to blame one
person for Minnesota's loss, you can blame him. You know,
bad shotgun snap sailed over Wentz's head, cost him twenty
two yards in the first quarter, would run over for
a third down sack in the fourth quarter from the
ten yard line. Issues on the offs of line for Minnesota,
and that's a big part of why they went one
(12:59):
for six in the red zone, and of course minus
two turnovers including the pick six. And when you're one
for six in the red zone, you're minus two and
turnovers and you have a pick six and your defense
cash the way they did and they only lose by
one score. You know, I mean Minnesota had chances, but
the top GOP blown off the d for that that defense. Mean, well,
(13:19):
the Chargers, they've lost three out of four. Remember they
started the season three and zero, another one and three,
Justin Herbert was unbelievable yesterday. You know, career high four
and twenty passing yards. It was a team's leading rusher.
But that was the only success they had on the ground.
You know, Kmani Bedell ran over Miami last week. This
week nine carries for twenty yards against the real defense.
They got Khalil Mack and Denzel Parment off the injured list,
(13:40):
then gave up six point nine yards per play. I
like the leadership from the Chargers after the loss. Derwin
James quote, it was all on us. Talking about the defense.
We could have prevented a lot of it just starts
with three to your keys. We got to be better.
We didn't do that today. Justin Herbert talking about the offense. Yeah,
I think it's on us. We just can't do that.
We can't win games when I turned the all over
(14:01):
in the red zone like that. So both offense and
defense taking responsibility. That's a positive sign. That being said,
you look at the offensive line for the Chargers and
on this why I'm not being on the I wouldn't
play this game over. I know the markets are moving
that way. I'm not playing it this way. You know,
obviously you have a Slater out for the season. You
(14:21):
have Joe Ald hurt, you got Trey Pippens hurt. Mackai
Becton went out yesterday for the Chargers. You know, the
running backs and not existing anymore. There's some real cluster
injuries for LA up front, and that likely to be
a problem moving forward, just like it was yesterday.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
This is an interesting game, Teddy, because prior to last Thursday,
I would have said it was an absolute under dumpster fire.
But I wonder if Joe Flacco is going to be
able to revive this Cincinnati Bengals team. On the flip side,
justin fields, see you later, buddy, insert Tyrod Taylor, who's
just as bad.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
So look aheadline here, don't just look aheadline all right?
Cincinnati minus two and a half total forty two and
a half. Now my party number Bengals six and a
half the markets last night. I couldn't believe there were
four and a half's out there. Last day there were
four and a half, five, five and a halfs and sixes.
(15:18):
I thought that was low. Obviously in the six and
a half total forty four and a half. And what
are we seeing today, Well, the four and a half,
fives and five and a half and sixes have all
been bought up, and now it's six and a half
for Cincy against the Jets and markets crashing on New York.
And of course you know Aaron Glenn who's looking He's
looking like this year's OJ Mail. He's looking one and
(15:40):
done right now. Obviously the team hasn't won a game
and the Jets haven't going to touchdown in the last
two weeks. But I mean since the start of camp,
there are ports out of Jets camp, the Jets locker
room wash. The buzz was this passing game isn't working,
this passing didn't work. I remember reading that like the
first week of training camp, and then in the preseason
the Jets passed didn't work. And guess what you're in
(16:01):
the regular season. The Jets passing game didn't work justin
fields was awful again. He got benched mercifully, and then
Tyrod Tayler came in and threw two picks. You know,
they had twelve first downs, three point seven yards per play,
two turnovers. Defense didn't force an each turnovers again, they
only reached the red zone once. That's at home against Carolina.
So Aaron Glenn after the game, who's gonna be the
(16:23):
starting quarterback? I don't know. Let's see, We'll make the
right decision. Whatever decision is, I'm gonna go with it,
and we're gonna move forward. That's not a quote I
was looking for. But the Jets aren't a team. You
know that's going to attract a lot of betting market
support right now, since he likely is, and since he left.
Twenty seven first downs, one hundred and forty two rushing
yards at six point two yards per Garry, three hundred
(16:45):
and twenty eight passing yards from Flacco seven to fourteen
on third downs. You know what happened with the Bengals.
Their offensive line started playing better. Chase Brown one hundred
rushing yards, the best game of the year to Mark
Chase sixteen catches. Flacco knows who to throw du they
score on seven of the last eight possessions. It won
for the first time since Burrow got hurt back in
Week two, but still red flags only two to five
(17:08):
in the red zone seven point three yards per play allowed.
You know against Pittsburgh Chase quote. Last week, it seemed
like we finally figured out how it was going to
be with Flack on the offsive line, and we showed
what we are capable of. Brown quote. The whole line
was phenomenal. The way they were picking up the plugs
and creating space. That's all I need. It's a line
(17:30):
of scrimmage and I can do the rest. I was
able to pop a couple of big ones today. It
felt pretty good. It's nice to carry that momentum. Worth
note even after the game. Since the twenty ninth in
points allowed per drive, thirty first in red zone defense,
twenty ninth allowed in yards per play, and al Trey Hendrickson,
they're stud on the defense side of the football, inactive
(17:51):
to a hip injury. Check his status. He is impactful
to the points Bread and the Bengals results. That being said,
six and a half, six six and a half. My
powering name numbers said six and a half I would
not be shocked at all see this get to seven.
That said, I think there'll be some resistance at seven.
You missed the early numbers. You probably missed the best
of this one. I don't think we'll see a four
(18:13):
and a half, five, five and a half or six again.
For the New York Jets, who are not a team
that's attracting any public support, and their stats are so
bad they're not attacking a whole lot of wise guy
support either.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Well, they will never get my support again.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
I spen saying, this is a mighty long time Kelly Listen.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I thought I was being so cute putting them in
the super contest. On to the next. All right, we've
got the Houston Texans that played tonight. San Francisco travels
to Houston after a nice win last night, except for
Mac Jones was interesting. If you look at that stat line.
I went to bed, I saw the writing on the wall.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Yeah, that's a big advantage. Being on the West coast.
You get to say out, you know all the Lake
games aren't that.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Latefer I knew what the end result was when I
saw the halftime score, I was like, they're not gonna
go cover this teaser. I'm going to bed. I'd rather
get a good night's sleep and get on to the
next week.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
And you were right in that regard. It was not
a particularly good performance in that regard. Look aheadline here
Houston minus two forty three my powering number going into
Monday Night football. Houston minus two and a half. The
markets opened one and a half two slash two and
a half forty three and a half the total we've
seen under money come in, and I'm seeing one and
(19:30):
a half now as a prevailing number for the Texans
as they go into Monday Night football. If you like
Houston tonight, wouldn't argue with the concept of playing them
either a two team parlay Texans tonight Texans next week,
or making two bets on Houston if Houston looks good.
Let's say, if Houston upsets Seattle this evening, this number
likely to be a little bit higher. No Bosa, no Warner,
(19:53):
no problem for the forty nine or til the Falcons
to ten points. The defense may plays all night long.
I give them credit, I did not expect that defensive standpoint.
That being said, Max Jones didn't throw a touchdown. Christian
McCaffrey basically did everything. Leading rush here one hundred and
fourteen yards in the ground, leading receivers, seven catches, seventy
two yards, thirty touches for McCaffrey. The team ran sixty
(20:13):
two plays, you know, like the Bengals, They're like, let's
go to Chase over and over again. Forty nine ers
smart enough to know McCaffrey's our guy right now when
everyone else is hurt. That's an injury report that's a
mile long. I do worry about San Francisco moving forward.
And as for the Texans, they got the Monday night
football against Seattle tonight. They're off a win against Baltimore,
a blowout win against Baltimore, and a bye week. So
(20:35):
if they do win tonight, they'll be on a short
week off three straight wins. That could be one of
those XALE spots in theory.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
All right, Next up, Teddy, let me get my notes open,
because I was too busy looking at this Bears team. Man,
I don't know what to make of the Chicago Bears. Teddy,
I bet they're under eight and a half wins. I
do a show right after this in the afternoon with Crack,
he said Heli Gayton to have wins. All the wise
guys were on the over, and I felt really smart
(21:07):
after the first couple of games. Now Bears have won
four straight. Ravens off a BUYE make this one make sense.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
So I spent a lot of time last night thinking
about my Baltimore power rating and where I wanted to
power rate this game, because my number came way off
the market, and I thought about it and made an adjustment,
and then it still came way off the market. That
being said, look headline Ravens six and a half total
forty eight and a half. My powering number Baltimore three
(21:37):
and a half. And let me tell you where I
powered Baltimore. I powered them as a good team. I
did not powerate them as an elite team. I'd not
power ate them with Kansas City and Philadelphia and Detroit.
I powered them, you know, three, four or five points
lower than those teams. Right now, the markets clearly are
powering Baltimore right there, one in five. Baltimore with all
(21:59):
their injuries. Given the point spread here, the markets are
powering Baltimore right there with Detroit and Kansas City and
Philadelphia as the best teams. Are one of the best
teams in the league, and I'm not there with this
one in five squad. I'm just not so anyhow, my
powering number was three and a half. The markets opened
last night six and a half slash seven total forty
(22:21):
nine and a half. What are we seeing today? Six
and a half slash seven total forty nine and a half.
So we haven't seen a whole lot of movement from
last night. And when you have a split like this,
all right, Lamar Jackson's expected to play? And how much
were we adjust for Lamar Jackson? Now? I adjusted I thought,
I think six points, which is too much. But I'm like,
(22:45):
I was so far off the market. I'm like, look,
this is that Baltimore's at least a decent team. They're
a good team, you know. I thought, there's clearly wise
Guy significant wise Guy support for the race. Again, they're
still like co favorites to win the division. They're sitting
one in five right now. So, but there were some
(23:09):
impressive things from Chicago yesterday. Complete domination in the trenches.
How often we want to say that it's the Bears
in the last decade, Not often. They had two hundred
and twenty two rushing yards to forty four to the Saints.
The defense had four sacks. Kayleb Williams. Building went down once.
But why is Chicago doing what they're doing? It's easy
to figure it out. It's the fourth straight game where
(23:32):
the defense has forced at least three turnovers. They forced
four turnovers in three of those four games, including yesterday,
were plus three margin. This is their longest win streak
in six years. All Right, the Bears lead the NFL
with sixteen takeaways. They lead the NFL with a plus
eleven turnover margin. All Right, how long does that last?
(23:53):
If they keep doing it, they're gonna keep winning games
to covering point spreads. When teams are plus three turnovers
every week, they win games to cover points sprits. You know,
Ben Johnson quote, we don't win the game if the
defense doesn't play that well, they're not standing job. Kind
of felt it over the course of the week there
with two practices, we will get that in schematically. Dennis
Allen had some really good thoughts, so we were gonna
be able to put some stress there on the offense.
(24:15):
It was huge, not necessarily as easy to do that
against Baltimore. Putting stress on the offense versus versus New
Orleans in that regard, you know, Baltimore, I mean, what's
wrong with them? Well, okay, I'll read some quotes from
the bye week, you know, for the one in five team,
(24:37):
Tyler Lindenbaum quote, the only worst thing is ozho and six.
So yeah, it's a big hole. We're gonna have to
bounce back, take some time to reflect. We'll have eleven
games left to try to run the table. Baltimore eighty
eight percent touchdown rate in goal to go situations this
year this year. There at our last year. This year
they're at fifty seven percent. Derrick Henry quote. That kind
(24:57):
of pisses me off. Unacceptable, not good enough, seems like
a repetitive thing, which is kind of frustrating. You know,
Ravens ten turnovers this season, third most in the NFL.
They had eleven with the entirety of last year. You know,
Derek Henry fumbled each of the first three games. Cooper
rushed through four picks. Zay Flowers lost the ball twice
(25:19):
last Sunday or two Sundays ago, which cost Baltimore backers significantly.
Harball quote to me, ball security couldn't be more emphasized
in practice or games. It just couldn't be. But we're
gonna have to find a way to make it even
more important because it's happening too much. You can't win
by turning the ball over. You want to look at
why the record is what it is. Start with that.
(25:42):
So again, eleven turnovers all of last year, ten so
far this season. They only have eight sacks so far
this year. Harball quote. It has been a challenge all
year to generate pressure. We're gonna have to manufacture pressure.
Our guys gonna have to step up, create rep pressure
on the four man rush. You know this team has
said the most sex in the n FELL over the
last two years, combine one hundred and fourteen this year.
(26:03):
Nothing you know that being said nose tackle John Jenkins
bet On quote quote. The only thing I know is
that I come to work every day. I see a
lot of guys who are hungry, who put the work in.
As long as I see that every day from the
guys in the locker room, in the building and the organization,
it's tough to listen to what outside people say. So
Baltimore is still talking to talk. You can understand why
(26:24):
their problems are what they are. They seem somewhat fixable,
and I would not you know, this is going to
be the wise guys to be on Baltimore here. I
can tell you that likely. And that tells me that
if you like the Ravens at minus six and a half,
there might be some urgency right now. Seven's already popping
up at the quote unquote leading indicator books, but there
(26:47):
could be enough public support the other way for Chicago.
So it's isn't an emergency.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Bettit Okay. I was gonna say, I know we're running along,
but are we are we doing this?
Speaker 2 (26:58):
He also so.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
I already text my partners just now. I was like,
all right, are we playing the Ravens this week in Survivor?
Talk me off taking the Ravens this week in Survivor? Please?
Speaker 2 (27:09):
They're one in five and they're facing the hottest Bears
team out there. And you know, if they're not turning
the ball again, Chicago keeps winning the turnover battle. You know,
four weeks in a row, winning any by margin. Chicago
wins that if they keep doing that. And there were
a couple of quotes that I know we running out
of time, then go read them. There were other quotes
that I saw about how the Bears expected to continue
doing that. So that'll I'm not I would argue with Baltimore,
(27:35):
but I get it there might be better choices.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
I know. It's just I feel like this team is
just they're in dire need of a win, and the
Bears may come back down to earth. We will see
really quickly. I want to shout out all of our
wager Talk insiders here in the chat wt dot buzz

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Yeah, the baseball has been great now, I mean flat

last six, eleven and three, last thirteen, twenty and six,
dating back to last year's postseason. So we're making money
for the client's up thirty eight point six units. Use

I've been playing Monday Night Football as well, but promo
code half off at checkout, take advantage of that offer,
and get on board with that five percent MLB Game
seven winner tonight that I'm looking forward to.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
I keep refreshing acts. One of the things I like
to do is look at injuries, see if coaches get
fired before you know you guys catch it and I
can announce it here on the show. But Mike McDaniel
still has a job. It's Monday morning, and I have
no idea how teddy again. I was on the Browns
in a lot of my contests. I thought, though, man,
the Browns are not built to blow people out, to
(29:00):
take the Dolphins and survivor big brain on this girl,
because boy, oh boy, did they look awful. Now it
looks so easy just to tease the Atlanta Falcons this week.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, in theory, it looks very easy. Look aheadline here
Atlanta minus six and a half forty five the total
my powering number, Atlanta eight and a half. The markets
open seven and a half and forty six. We're seeing
some under money. Forty five and a half now the
prevailing total for that one wager Talk End Zone Live
(29:34):
every Sunday from what one on from this time time.
That one of the early game started through the d
I was doing it yesterday and I was talking about,
you know, why would you fire head coach at this
stage of the season. Why do you fire head coach
in September or October if he was your guy in
March and April and July. It's just too soon. There's
no advantage to fire in the guy. And then you
(29:54):
watch Miami play yesterday. They didn't want to be there,
and that's on the coach at McDaniel's Adam mulligan's you
know yet quin Ewers replacing Tago Lowa in the fourth quarter,
you know, his sixth career three pick game Dolphins, one
of thirteen on third down, eleven penalties for one hundred
and three yards. Mike McDaniel quote, we did everything we
(30:15):
could to lose the game. He saw a lot of
frustration from our seasons deep into our play. I felt
like emotional overreaction. The first half were detrimental to us.
Four drives were sustained by penalties. Defensively, there's a lot
of guys that will have an important work week. I mean,
if you're negatively affecting the football team routinely, I don't
have a choice but to assess a different player, or
I'm gonna have to coach a lot better as well.
(30:36):
So we're gonna find out who and what we're made of.
That's McDaniel wagg and his finger. That's his last. You
know he's gone. There's a dead man walking. And then
the team knows that Darren Waller, who's been their only
like sparkplug on offense in recent weeks, he got an injury.
He didn't hurt, he didn't return in that ball game.
That being said, Atlanta looked pretty awful last night. Two
(30:56):
Penniksak fumbles, one got overturned. They were stopped on downs.
It's gonna get stopped on third and thirteen in the
Niners lost final touchdown drive about two and two red
zone tds. John Robinson was a non factor less than
three yards per carry against the defense missing their two
best players, and Atlanta, you know, Raheem Morris did not
have them ready. This is not a team that I
would trust off a big win. But now that they're
(31:18):
off a loss, I guess they're backable. It's to Leah
Price to do it. Seven and a half the prevailing number.
It's not going down.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
All right, not going down. But this one is interesting,
Bill's headed to the Panthers. I can only see this
being one way action here as well, Teddy, let's talk
about Carolina who. Well, yesterday was interesting, to say the
least for this Panthers team.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I'll leave it at that, sure, I mean they got
to win.
Speaker 1 (31:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Look, look headline here Buffalo minus seven total forty eight
and a half. My powering number is Bill's minus eight.
The markets open seven and a half forty seven and
a half, and that's pretty much what we're looking at
right now. You know, the Bills are off back to
back losses against the Patriots and the Falcons and then
a bye week. Under McDermott, the Bills never went into
a bye week on the whole time on having lost
(32:11):
two in a row. He's also never lost coming out
of a bye week. So there's clearly urgency for Buffalo.
And the quotes are you know, they're the quotes coming
out of the locker room going into the bye week.
We're fairly significant. And of course, the first three weeks
of the season, the Bills had fifteen penalties and they
went three and zero. The next three weeks they had
(32:34):
thirty five penalties and went one and two. You know
they will get some healthy additions to their defensive line
after the bye week. Defense tackle Ogunjabi's supposed to play,
Michael Heck's suspensions are concluded. They could have Matt Milano back,
They could have Troll Bernard. Bernard both those guys listed
his day to day right now. But you know there
(32:58):
are there's talk about Buffalo bringing in some cornerback help,
some safety help before the trading deadline, so that could happen.
They got three rookies in the secretary on injured reserve
right now. McDermott talking about the bye week quote, you
start every year at ground zero and work your way
back up to where you currently are. You need to
(33:20):
make sure there's nothing in the foundation that needs to
be fixed. And with the way the last two games
have gone, we've had some good moments, I kind of
want to look under the hood a little bit more,
make sure we've got everything underneath. Turn to the foundation
that's helping us, from the way we practice, to the
way we meet, to what we emphasize, what we're asking
our players to do. It is clearly a Buffalo spot
for this one for the Panthers. I mean Bryce Young
(33:42):
one hundred and thirty eight passing yards at five point
five years for pass attempt. He's not exactly lighting up
a suspect defense and then he got hurt. Andy Dalton's
still alive, by the way, for those who are wondering.
Dave Canalis about Bryce Young quote, we're evaluating him for
the right ankle. We're taking the information. We'll look at him,
we get home some more and see where we're at.
To the shock of the mainstream media, Carolina was able
(34:03):
to find carries for two running backs yesterday. Oh my god,
you can put Rico Daddle and Tuba Hoover together in
the backfield and have success. Pathers have a winning record,
you know the alignment. Derek Brown quote, We're in the
process right now, and the process doesn't come with victory Monday.
We're going to be ready to go back to work
tomorrow and turn the page on this win. That's tyd
(34:26):
a quote you'd like to see from a veteran leader.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
Boy, oh boy, this is going to be the game
to talk about, Seddy, because I was watching in a
little disbelief. I had the Broncos as my second leg
of my Survivor pool, and I had text at halftime
to my partners, I said, guys, I'm sorry, I thought
this was a bad spot for the Giants coming off
that big Marque Thursday night win. Turn right around and
play the Eagles again next week. Nope, they sure looked good.
(34:53):
The Broncos just happened to look better late into the
fourth quarter, and maybe one could argue the Giants scored
too early there late in the fourth. Let's talk about
now going back to back Eagles, right. Marco called an
Eagle sandwich unbet on it actually, so we'll call it
that as well.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Sure, I mean Giants money line's the worst pet of
the day, you know that. Being said, the total is
probably the worst pet of the day. You know, that
was thirteen to nothing with three minutes like and then
it goes six touchdowns, a field goal, an interception, and
a punt on the last nine drives. That's forty five
points scored. A ouch. The only turnover of the game
was the one Jackson Dark just can't make you know.
(35:32):
You're up ten less than five minutes to play, You're
in your own territory. It's third down. You can't force
one into coverage, and he made a rookie mistake and
it ended up costing them the game. That being said,
teams had won one thousand, six hundred and two sixteen
hundred and two games consecutively when leading by eighteen points
in the final six minutes of the game, and the
(35:52):
Giants snapped that streak. You know, tight end, dawn On Bellager,
this was going to haunt us for a long time,
you know, Brian Day, tough loss. Put their heart and
soul into it. Not a lot of talking that needs
to be done when you lose a game like that.
Everybody gave everything they had and of course why they
miss it. The kicker is why they missed it. Jude
mccatamie missed a pair of extra points. The second one
(36:15):
mattered a whole lot. Meanwhile, Philadelphia, I mean, that's the
best game Jalen Hurts had all year by far. Four
incomplete passes, fourteen point two yards per pass, We've had
three touchdowns. DeVonta Smith and aj Brown ran wild. But
there's still the fundamental concern about Saquon Barkley eighteen of
forty four yesterday, long of nine complete, non factor. The
(36:37):
passing game worked. The running game is a prop you know,
DeVonta Smith, it was only a matter of time. There's
some things we can still grow in certain areas, some
things we left out there. DeLand hurts. It's not a
time to wish or hope for something to happen. It's
time to make it happen. I didn't give my numbers.
Eagles minus eight forty two and a half was the
look ahead my powering number, eagles minus eight and a half.
(37:00):
The market's opened seven forty two and a half last night,
and that's what we're seeing this morning, seven forty three
and a half. So we've seen some over money and
again the some over money, some fairly significant over money.
I would not be surprised if we see more. There's
forty four and a half's out there already. Leading indicator
books are forty three and a half. Juice to the over.
(37:23):
Both these offenses and both these passing games worked this
past week. Let's get the red light out. If you
want the over better right now? Forty three last forty
three and a half. You're gonna fine for this. If
you want over, do it sooner rather than later.
Speaker 1 (37:43):
All right, Teddy, we mentioned how hot the New England
Patriots have been. All right, excuse me, the Chicago Bears
have been, but also the New England Patriots went in
and tons of money against them, didn't matter. Crushed the
Titans there. Browns, on the other hand, we talked about them.
I had them in the contest min It's two and
(38:04):
a half and it was never in doubt. Had the
Browns turned a corner on this football season.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
No, not even close. Look aheadline here New England seven
and a half, forty one my powering number, New England six.
The markets open seven and forty and a half last
night and we're seeing seven and forty and a half
this morning. There is a prominent six and a half
out there, but I don't think it's certainly not widely available. Yes,
(38:35):
the Browns just snapped a trend after scoring seventeen points
or less in eleven straight games. Why because the offense
scored twenty one points off of four Dolphins turnovers. That's
the only way the brown can get in the thirties.
Cleveland scored thirty plus yesterday. They had two hundred and
six yards of offense at three point nine yards per play.
The offense is still completely broken, all right. They just
(38:58):
faced the right team team that can't stop the run.
You know. Dylan Gabriel quote, we always talk about complimentary football.
Seeing us all come together is important and good to see,
you know. Grant Delpit quote, I remember now feels good.
What a win feels like. We can't keep peel bawling
around this season going up and down. Got to get
(39:19):
one and multiply those. Miles Garrett again talking about the
leaders of the team, saying the same sort of thing.
One win is the thing, but we've got to turn
this into a habit. This team hasn't won back to
back games since twenty twenty three, so I'm not sold
that Cleveland is fixed. That said, there's urgency for the
(39:43):
Browns that are talking a lot about what happened after
their first loss. They got any their first win and
they got annihilated the next week. This feels like there's
more urgency this time. And for the Patriots, I mean,
Drake May was brilliant yesterday. You know, third player under
the age of twenty four with at least two hundred
yards passing and as of one hundred to higher and
six straight games. You know who he joined on that list,
(40:03):
Patrick Mahomes and Dan Marino, two guys to be on
a good list with Drake May one hundred and seventy
five rushing yards for New England yesterday. They ranked twenty
seventh in the league coming into the game and thirtieth
in the yards per carry, and they ran for a
buck seventy five. Defense scored a TV on a sack fumble.
But I mean they faced Vegas, they faced Miami, they
(40:24):
faced Carolina, New Orleans, Tennessee. It was a very weak
schedule coming into the season. That's playing out every bit
as weak as you thought it was going to be.
That being said, read the quote Mike Rabel talking about
the win yesterday against his former team, and all the
players knew it was his former team. There was a
lot of effort and energy in that boggame quote. An
(40:46):
emotional game, emotional stretch for us. Some of this team
an organization hasn't done, and it's done a lot. Talking
about the three straight road wins, this feels to me
like an exhale spot for the home favorite and the
road dog saying we don't want to let down after
this win like we did last time. So sort of
early week leans, I certainly leaned towards Cleveland, even though
(41:08):
I don't think that they've quote unquote turned it around
just yet.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
All right, Teddy? Then now I have to ask, then
the New England Patriots are the other team on my list.
I had them slated to use this week for Survivor,
but you mentioned exhale. Should I be a little bit
more wary with the Patriots back here at home?
Speaker 2 (41:25):
Yes? Okay, if it's Cleveland or sorry, if it's Baltimore
or New England, I'll take Baltimore.
Speaker 1 (41:33):
It probably has to be both because one of the
leagues I'm in makes me do a double pick. But
let's look at some of these other options, possibly at
least in the later slate. On Sunday, We've got an
NFC South matchup. We mentioned the Bucks play tonight, but
then they head to New Orleans on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Yeah, look, headline here Tampa five and a half forty
seven and a half. My priory number is Tampa seven
and a half for the game, so I'm off market
on this one. Look ahead. Sorry the opener. There were
five and a half's and six and a halfs last
night total forty eight, and seeing that as well today,
five and a halfs and six and a halfs both
(42:11):
available right now Obviously, the Bucks play on Monday night.
If you like Tampa to night, you may want to
parlay it or make two bets instead of one for
Tampa because if they beat the Lions tonight and going
to New Orleans as as a one loss team, they're
likely to be priced a little bit higher than they
are right now. As for the Saints, I mean Spencer
Ratler through one interception. In the first six games, he
(42:33):
was solid, and yesterday he was awful. Three interceptions the
worst game of the season. He took four sacks, also
a season high. New Orleans offensive line got run over
by Chicago in their game. Their defensive line got run over.
There were caps on the ground. They gave up more
than six yards per carry against both lead backs, two
hundred and twenty two on the ground total. Center Eric's McCoy.
(42:53):
They're feeling the tear it. They're fearing that he tore
his bicep. Check his status the kicker group A. He's
missed at least one field goal five different games this year,
you know, and again they're one and six right now.
Is the worst starts. It's opening one and seven. When
Mike Ditka was their head coach, Alvin Kamara after the
game quote, we can't stop. We gotta find some energy,
(43:16):
find some inspiration. Everyone's got to dig deep and find
that want to. I don't love that quote. Uh you
know if if one of your veteran leaders having to
say that, it's not necessarily a great sun. And obviously
for the ones they will be back at home, they're
facing rival, they're supposed to be choosed for this one,
(43:36):
and they are coming off of they're probably the worst game,
and they certainly one of their worst games of the
year in New Orleans has a capacity to have numerous
bad games. Also worth noting every road game they played
in this year they've lost by double digit margins. They
are back home here for something to file away for next.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Time, all right. In The obvious choice this week for
Survivor will be the new Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans.
I mentioned I looked at the Titans last week. I
missed the seven, so I just said, all right, not
going to play this team. But I thought after firing
Brian Callahan, they would be a little bit more energized,
And at first they looked like they were, and then
(44:13):
they weren't.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
You know, So in college football. We've seen every team
that's fired their coach all year covered the hat the
spread that included Oregon State and then the game against
an FCS team on Saturday. In the NFL, it looked
like it was gonna be more of the same. Early
with Tennessee. They look good and then what happened, Well,
New England woke up in Tennessee. I mean they are
(44:36):
who they are good point, so it did not hold
for the NFL look headline indie minus twelve total forty
four and a half. My powering number indie minus twelve
and a half. And I'm high on the Colts. I
had them yesterday. I'm a Colts believer. The markets opened fourteen,
so my powering numbers twelve and a half. The markets
alread up at fourteen for this, which is telling us
where they're pricing Tennessee right now. I've got Tennessee as
(44:58):
the worst team in the league, but not by a
huge margin. Mark the total forty four and a half
of the look Ahead forty five last night, forty seven's
right now. So we've seen a big move to the
over with the early sharp money for this one. For sure,
you know a new coach same defense. You know, Mike
McCoy's debut. It is what it is. You know. They
(45:20):
forced a grand total of two incomplete passes yesterday from
Drake May and they allowed nine point seven yards per
pass attempt, one hundred and seventy five rushing yards, didn't
force a turnover. Oh, by the way, defensive tackle Jeffrey
Simmons basically their best player on defense, a three time
pro bowler. He heard his hamstring, he didn't return. The
cornerback Lajerius need hurt his squad, he didn't return. Bizarre
(45:41):
game plan cam Ward thirty nine dropbacks. The running backs
had twelve carries, no Calvin Ridley, no big plays, only
one play of longer than twenty yards. They didn't make
it to the red zone in the ballgame, and the
entire ballgame zero red zone trips. You know, a new
head coach, McCoy, We're gonna stick together here. We're gonna
fight our tails off and find a way to go
win the next one. That's the most important thing. More realistically,
(46:03):
linebacker Cedric Gray quote, it might not be our time
right now, but we just got a find way to
keep building and stacking. Our time will come. It feels
a lot better when you stay through the shit and
work through the shit together and you'll finally come out
on top at the end. That's a realistic quote. This
is the worst team in the league. Everyone knows it now,
the markets know it. And again my number is only
(46:24):
twelve and a half. So I'm not seeing the value
that I want with Indian and he didn't have the
kind of defense that I want to lay two touchdowns with.
But I said last week on this show out how
Jonathan Taylor was MVP worthy and when he had three
rushing touchdowns, three catches, one hundred and thirty total rushing,
one hundred and thirty total yards. Danny Dimes only stacked
once in that game, zero turnovers offense, six point nine
yards were play. They really weren't stopped, only punted twice.
(46:45):
Talked about red zone success and that's where Indy's been
so unstoppable this season. They were nine of nine in
the red zone the previous two weeks. Yesterday they went
four or five. The defense still has issues, the secondary
is riddled with injuries, but the pass rush is still there.
The Forest Bucker was a yesterday and they lead the
NFL in scoring at thirty two points a game. The
market's reacting to that with this fourteen point spread, even
(47:07):
a fourteen and a half popping up right now at
a leading indicator book.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Wow, Teddy, double digits outside of the Chiefs yesterday have
not fared well. We'll get to that Chiefs game here
on Monday night, but first we've got to talk about
my best bet from bet on it. I got plus
one and a half thanks to Teddy last week on
the Dallas Cowboys, and it was never in doubt. Now
they traveled to the Denver Broncos. How do teams fare
(47:32):
after just like insane wins like that? I think that
is a testament to how they follow it up the
next week.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
So there's no way to research that in the database.
I guess that's the probably is. If a team is
down by however much in the fourth quarter, you can
probably look it up. I imagine it's pretty close to
fifty to fifty. I haven't heard of a prevailing trend
one way or the other. Look aheadline here Broncos four
and a half forty seven. My powering number Broncos minus four.
The mar Gets opened three and forty eight and a
(48:02):
half last night. The forty eight and a halfs are
mostly gone right now, but not all gone. Forty nine
the total. Let's do one more emergency betting alert. If
you want this total, if you want the over forty
eight and a half, you can still find them now
out a handful of books. Grab it now. I don't
think it'll be there for much longer. Everyone knows that
Dallas is team. I mean, look the Dallas has got.
(48:27):
They've gotten the forty three times this season already, they
got the last four weeks forty thirty seven, twenty seven
and forty four cashing over his week in, week out,
everybody looked good for Dallas Yesterday, Dak looked good. CD's
back pickens had huge catches. Devonte Williams facing his former
team had five point three yards per rush full season,
one hundred and sixteen rushing yards. Yesterday, the eventh had
(48:47):
have picked six and four sacks, and Brandon Aubrey became
the first NFL kicker in history. Brandon Aubrey is a weapon,
you know. And then they got stacking like, oh, they're
at a field goal range. No, they're trotting Aubrey back out.
He nails of was it a sixty one yard or
and with room to spaar. Now he's gonna be kicking
in the mile high air. That's worth considering in a
game like this. It's an advantage Dallas in that regard.
(49:08):
They have a kicker that can hit from seventy on
this field. The Broncos were I mean, that was insane.
You know, they played like a team that had traveled
seven time zones. You know, for three they had zero
points in the first three quarters and thirty three in
the fourth, four touchdowns to two point conversions and a
field goal to win. That was the most in NFL
history by any team that was shut up by the
first three quarters. Bo Nicks the first player in NFL
(49:30):
history to run for two scores and throw for two
touchdowns in a fourth quarter. They stopped a streak in
which NFL teams had want to combine one thousand, six
and two consecutive games, and leading by eighteen points in
the final six minutes, they overcame a dozen penalties, They
went four or five in the red zone. You know,
bow Knicks, I don't even know how we scored thirty
three points in a quarter. That's kind of insane. You
(49:52):
win a game like that it's the best thing ever.
Patrick certain quote, I lost hope. I ain't gonna lie
I lost hope. It was one of them games we
fell out, we didn't execute going to the film room.
There's a lot of corrections, but one thing we didn't
lose was composures. We fought to the end. In this league,
matter how much you're down, there's always a will and
there's always a way. I don't know if Devver's the
(50:12):
kind of team I want to be laying points with
this week. To be honest, First lean here is towards
Dallas plus. But again, my powering number says four. The
markets are three right now, so I was hoping to
catch a little bit more. And of course I'm not
commenced to Dallas defense is fixed just yet.
Speaker 1 (50:29):
That is fair. I would absolutely agree with that analysis
as the resident Denver Broncos fan. I think you can
see it behind me. Yeah, I don't trust that team either.
Sunday Night Football, Teddy, A team that keeps finding ways
to win. The Green Bay Packers headed to Pittsburgh. This
is an interesting one because Mike Tomlin off a loss
(50:49):
isn't as good as Dan Campbell, but it's something worth noting, sure.
Speaker 2 (50:53):
Look ahead line here green Bay three and forty three
and a half my powering number, and I'm I'm off market,
and I'm not sure why green Bay minus won in
this game. The markets sitting a three even three with juice,
there were three and a halfs popping up for green
Bay forty three and a half. I guess the issue
is the Marcus don't respect Pittsburgh. And I look at
(51:13):
Pittsburgh and I can understand the thought process behind it.
You know, the Packers had led every game before yesterday's
game by at least ten points, and yesterday they had
to rally from behind. They had travel delays and in
Arizona they got stuck at the airport for five hours.
You know, Matt Lafleur, From the moment we got on
the trip, nothing seemed to go right. They didn't game.
There were a lot of things that didn't go right,
but the guys kept battling. And that's what it takes
(51:34):
in this league. The offense only four point nine yards
per play, the receiving corps banged up, underachieving, the defense
got gassed by a backup quarterback on a middling offense.
But Josh Jacobs ran the football. Marcut Parsons had three sacks.
You know. The defense had allowed the most fourth quarter
points in the league. Del Arizona to a field goal
in the fourth quarter, got to stop on the final
drive barely, but that game was decided. It was two
(51:56):
higher leverage fourth downs in the fourth quarter. You know,
they stuffed a questionable decision for Arizona to go for
it from their own territory with under six minutes to play,
down by a field goal. Green Bay was at the time,
so they got the fourth down stop and then instead
of tying the game with a field goal and two
and a half minutes left, the offense came back on
(52:17):
the field on a fourth and two and Jordan Love
hit Tucker Kraft for fifteen yards, set up to go
ahead touchdown. You know, and another key sequence Arizona with
a touchdown seven seconds left before halftime. Arizona scored a
touchdown and they kicked the touchback, which is inexcusable for
the You know, why is Arizona losing games by a
field goal? You know, because of stupid stuff like that.
(52:39):
That got the balls of thirty five with no time
off the clock boom. Jordan Love twenty two yard pass,
quick timeout, sixty one yard field goal, and there's three points,
cheapest three points you'll ever get with seven seconds left.
Arizona mistakes no some of it, but green Bay was
able to take advantage. The markets aren't high on Pittsburgh,
(52:59):
and I was adjusting my numbers last night, and I
spent a lot of time thinking about the Steelers, and
I ended up notching my number down a little bit.
And I still only on the camel k mcgreen Bay
one for this game. The Steelers have feasted on the
week so far this season. They've been They've been lucky
in a couple of games. It feasted on the week
in a couple of games. And of course they are
(53:20):
coming off a loss. You talked about it. The offense
did everything they want. You know, when Pittsburgh goes seven
to ten on third down seven point three yards per play,
thirty one points are supposed to win the game. But
Rogers hit two I INT's, and you know the defensive standpoint,
they got gashed on the ground. I got a bunch
of quotes here were out of time, but I got
a quotes from Patrick Queen and quote from Cameron Heyward,
(53:40):
all talking about the defense not playing well. TJ. Watt.
You know we pride ourselves are getting that splash. I
don't think we had one. Don't have one this week.
You're not stopping the runner getting off the field, They're
creating turnovers. You're in a whole world of hurts. So
there's certainly urgency for Pittsburgh on the defense side of
the football this week, but it's not a defense that
has been good against any capable offin so far this season.
(54:01):
Green Bay's office certainly all.
Speaker 1 (54:04):

coffee checkout and get fifty percent off either the play
itself or the Monday All Access pass was including Monday
Night football this evening as well. Again half off at
(55:23):
checkout Washington and Kansas City look aheadline here Kansas City
five and a half, fifty and a half. My powering
number came eight last night. There were five and a
half and fifty one out there. Oops, Daniels is heard.
Now we're looking at nine and a half, tens, ten
and a half's out there right now, total forty eight
(55:44):
and a half. And there is a pretty big difference
between Mariota and Danilson did a dynamic player, and of
course Mariota without his top two receive. We'll have to
see what happens with Terry McLaurin, with Deebo Samuel, with
Noah Brown. They could all be back by next week
or two of the three co McLaurin and Samuel could
easily be back next week, which will make things easier
for Mariota. But Daniels, it did not look good when
(56:09):
he got hurt. Last year, they said a record I
think it was twenty one to twenty three on fourth downs.
Part of the reason why I played them under their
season win total this year was because that specific stat
had to be a huge aggression. And yesterday zero for
two on fourth downs and minus two turnovers and eleven penalties.
You know, dan Quinn, injuries are not the reason that
we lost. We're the ones that got ourselves in a hole.
Were the same ones that had to dig ourselves out.
(56:30):
Make no mistake, we're not playing to the standard we've set.
Washington the oldest team in the league by margin. They're
three and four right now, their season hanging on the brink.
Kansas City, boy, we have Rashid Wallace back on the field,
joining was Avery Worthy and Travis Kelsey and Jujus ms
Schuster and Taekwon Tharton and Hollywood Brown. All of a sudden,
this offense is the scariest any offense in the league.
(56:53):
Thirty to three first down edge yesterday. The most dominant
beat down any team has had in the NFL all
year was Kansas City yesterday. Patrick Mahomes, we want to
be better than what we are right now, but this
is a good step in the right direction. We have
a lot of weapons, we have a lot of guys.
They all love each other, they want each other to succeed.
Kansas City and Philadelphia, the two teams at the top
of my powertings at the end of last year, are
(57:15):
one and two in my powertings right now again this year.
The Chiefs certainly looking like the Super Bowl contender that
they didn't look like the first couple of weeks of
the season.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
