Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome in to the opening line report Kelly Stewart here,
joined every single Monday morning by Teddy Covers, where we
run through this week's NFL slate in terms of where
the market is going to go. So get your odds
logic screens open or those wager Talk free odds pages
and follow along here in the comments section. Teddy covers

(00:24):
not a lot to report from yesterday. But I was
really close to saying ooh nice four and O'Day in
the Westgate Super Contest because now it doesn't matter because
I'm just sitting right around five hundred.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
And then I.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Realized that when I had switched the Broncos game from
twenty four to seven to watch Packers Bears, that some
insanity ensued, at least from a side and total perspective.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Sure, so we like to talk about the beats on
the show, and of course you know the certainly if
you had the Broncos and or the under yesterday, pretty
tough the way that game ended, though, I you know
that the Dave Portnoy meltdown is a little bit and
that's dangerous, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
You can't be gone murder.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Pete Carroll, investigate the refs and financials.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Shut up, dude, you bet before?

Speaker 3 (01:14):
All right, sometimes you're on the wrong end of these
and if you had Denver, tough, tough way to lose
the game, But to talking about murdering people and you
know it's just.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Not it's all for clicks, Teddy.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Once you route professional, dude, if you're if you're, if
you're like the face of a sports book, the last
thing you want to be doing is, oh, by the way,
all these games are rigged and investigate everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Wow, that's fair, that is fair. And listen, was the
Raiders a huge need yesterday for the sports books? Absolutely? Was.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I understand why people that haven't been doing this this
long want to scream collusion, want to be outraged. Would
I be stocked to know that Pete Carroll knows the spread?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
No, I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
And just to give you a little fu on the
way out the door, because they got absolutely dominated by
the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Not surprising in the slightest, No.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
These things have.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
That's why we don't put all of our bank roll
on any one given play, all right, no matter how
good it looks, no matter how it plays out.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Shenanigan's can and do happen?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Remember the Eagles Rams all right, in my opinion, was
a worse beat than this one, or every bit as
bad as this one, you know, maybe worse.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
But I was on the opposite side of that. So
those are the good that come with the bad, and
that's gambling, especially in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Sure, but do I believe that there?

Speaker 3 (02:35):
And again the play with the flag to stop the clock,
it was a bonehead plate, but you can throw a
flag there. I didn't think that there's anything bizarre about
throwing that flag there. You know, the guy's laying on
top of him's supposed to be getting up. If you
would have gotten up, you wouldn't have thrown the flag.
And the problem would meself and said he's knocking the
ball out of his hands. It was again by the

(02:55):
book delay a game. I've seen that, not in that
particular scenario where the spread is going to be covering.
Then of course Carol coming on with the field goal unit,
which I'm sure is his little you know, you say,
does he know the point spread? Maybe that's his little few,
but he's allowed to do that.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
And the quote after the game.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Was, we thought we might have one second left to
try an on side, all right, it's gambling.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
It's always gonna be gambling.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
That is gambling.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And then that just reminded me of the field goal
with the Broncos in Indianapolis. I mean, these things happen, yes,
every single week, but.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
They happen four or five, six, seven times a year.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Especially when you're betting on a significant amount of games,
You're going to be involved in more of those games,
and eventually it's going to even out.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Maybe maybe it doesn't. You know, if you have more
right sides, it's just like a poker. If you're starting
with better hands, you're gonna have more bad beats against you.
If you started with more right sides, you're it may
not even out exactly. But the point is this. You know,
when the guy gets into the end zone and he
does the celebration like you know he to the end
of it, it's like act like you've been there before.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Bed beats are gonna happen. They're a part of the process.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
If you can't handle it, you can't be betting, plain
and simple. So we all have our meltdowns, all have
our moments. All right, I have them, you've had them.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
We all have them. Okay, but it's okay.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
To have a moment, but you got to calm down
and fit and move on to the next week another day.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Like Teddy says, if you're using proper bank roll management,
you can live to bet another day. And that's what
we're gonna do here. We're gonna get into week fifteen.
Time flies when you're having a good time, Teddy covers,
I don't know what to make about this Bucks team.
I know that I was complaining and bitching about the
Cleveland Browns because I went back and forth between them
and the Vikings for my second Survivor pick. But really

(04:52):
I should be bitching about this Tampa Bay Buccaneers team
who got absolutely dominated by the Saints yesterday. That was
then You've got, you know, the Falcons, Kirk Cousins. A
lot of people took the seven with the Falcons with
no avail pretty much after the first quarter. Seattle dominated
that game. Talk to me about Falcons now Thursday night. Oh,

(05:15):
I'm sorry, I want to back it up. Monday Night Football, Teddy,
What am I doing here? Monday Night Football is tonight?
The Chargers play our producer Dan Alexander's Philadelphia Eagles. You
have a play up on wager Talk dot com.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Yeah, just visit my website and waytererter talk dot com
is in my homepage wt dot buzzbacks last Tcat to
check out my betable opinion for a tonight's game. We've
seen two way action on the side really hasn't moved.
It's been Philly two two and a half all week
total wise, We've seen a little bit of under money
come in.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I'm in play on the side today.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Did go three and ozero in the NFL yesterday, So
we'll see if we can make it a four and
oh week in the NFL with my best bet tonight
over on my page at waytertalk dot com.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
All right, Thursday Night Football Atlanta takes on Tampa Bay.
Talk to me about the Tampa Bay team that was
I hought to start the season now has started to
really fizzle out.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah, yeah, September October is a long way in the
rearview mirror now, right, ask India asked Tampa.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Wasn't Baker Mayfield an MVP candidate? Yes, it sworn, I remembered.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I think I think I might have even said it. Anyhow,
as we do each and every week here on the
NFL Opening Line Report, the way you talk NFL opening
line report, I give you four sets of lines for
every game. The first set we call the look ahead line.
These are the betable lines for this game last week,
so we can see how much one week affected the
point spread between these two teams. Then they give you

(06:32):
my power rating number, and that's just team A Team B.
Home field does not factor in situation at all. So
give you a look head line my powering number. I'll
give you the opener from last night, and then what's
happened since the opener what we're looking at today on
the Odds Logic Live Odds screen. So for Atlanta Tampa
Bay look ahead line, there were five and a half,
so there were six out there for the Bucks. Total

(06:54):
was forty four and a half. My powering number came
Tampa Bay five and a half. Markets opened five and
a half last night, and I'm seeing a split market
right now.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
The money's come for Atlanta.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
The five and a half are still out there, but
there's five and four and a halfs in the betty market.
In fact, those are the prevailing numbers right now. And
this is really a pick your poison kind of game,
all right. I'll talk about Tampa in a minute. Let's
talk about Atlanta. They've one and seven their last eight games,
you know, eight straight losing seasons. This team hasn't been
the playoffs, hasn't even been the playoffs since twenty eight

(07:29):
to three. All right, special team's meltdowns for the Falcon
second week in a row. Come out in the second
half of game, the game's tight. Do you talk about
the last forty five minutes in that game? That game
is tied six to sixth at halftime, Atlanta comes out
and kicks the second half kickoff, and Seattle returned for
a touchdown game over right there, and then they had
a block field goal from an unblocked defender. Second week

(07:53):
in a row for Rahee Mars where the special teams
have been costing them big time. And you know, Drake
London's out. Atlanta's not a team I'm excited about putting
money on down the stretch Raheem Morris. I don't think
he'll be back. And obviously you're playing with a veteran
backup quarterback who is cashing his check. Say it was

(08:14):
Say what you want about the Kirk Couz at this
stage of his career. That being said, you know, Tampa
beat San Francisco week six. They were five and one
at the time. Since that time, they beat the Saints
once in two meetings, and they have a win against Arizona.
With five losses, they're two and five straight up their
last five games, one and four straight up oher and

(08:34):
five against the spread. The only game they were able
to win with by a field goal against Arizona. The
defense allowed one hundred and thirty nine rushing yards yesterday
gashed by Tyler Schuck. Baker wasn't good, you know, fourteen
to thirty for a Buck twenty two four point one
yards per past them.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
That's not gonna cut it, you know.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
To Todd Bowles, quote, doesn't matter whether the team is
twelve and oh or oh twelve.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
It's the NFL.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
You have to show up and make plays or the
other team is going to beat you. Talk about how
maybe they weren't up for a division rival at their
home field to snap a losing streak.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Godwin Chris Godwin, the wide receiver, talking about the offensive
struggles quote, I don't disagree that it feels disjointed.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
I can't put my finger on exactly.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Why I feel like we could, It would probably be
easier to fix it. You can't just look at this
and go, oh, it's whatever, it's not whatever. We have
to correct it. If we want to make a run
of this thing, we've got to get it together and
get it together fast.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
That, my friends, is an urgency quote.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
We'll see if Tampa is actually able to be urgent
and play at that level on Thursday Night football.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
All right, Texans looked pretty good on Sunday Night football
over the Chiefs, at least from a defensive standpoint there.
Teddy and I had the rams and teasers yesterday. I said,
I don't really love this spot.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Nope, easy pasy.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
The Cardinals are just on a down world spiral. Kind
of talk to me about this one, because I think
now you're starting to pay a premium here for the
Houston Texans.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Sure that maybe pay a premium to bet against the
Arizona Cardinals. Look aheadline here there were six and a
half and sevens for Houston total forty two and a
half my powering number after the Cardinals got smacked last
night and the Texans upset the Chiefs as high as
nine for this ballgame again six and a half, as
low as for the Look at nine's my powering number

(10:23):
the markets before the game, there were seven to seven
and a half, forty two and a half after the game,
nine and a half even a prominent ten out there
for Houston total forty two.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
And a half.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
And I don't know if the Texans are the kind
of team you want to lay more than a touchdown with.
That's not their mo They're not about winning necessarily by margin.
And how they win last night. They win the one
last night because Kansas City dropped passes, Kansas City made
bad fourth down decisions deep in their own territory in a.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Tie game in the fourth quarter.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
It was yes, Houston won, and Houston played well enough
to win.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Did they play enough to win by double digits? I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
As for Arizona, look, you know they give up tw
hundred and forty nine rushing yards yesterday and that included
three Jimmy Garoppolo O'Neil downs. The defense allowed seven point
nine yards per play and thirty first downs. It's worth
noting the last three games against divisional opponents for Arizona,
they've been lit up in every one of them, blowout
loss forty four to twenty two. Forty one to twenty two,

(11:23):
forty five to seventeen Seattle. San fran and the Rams
have destroyed Arizona, but every other opponent they played since September,
they've hung tough all the other five loss of all
the way four points are left in the Monday night
football win at Dallas. That being said, you want to
talk about an ugly injury report after yesterday's game Arizona.
I mean there's you know, Max Melton, Marvin Harrison, Mario Dericado,

(11:46):
daydrin Tember.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I mean, I can go on and on.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
It felt like, you know, Paris Johnson got hurt yesterday.
Below Nichols left in the second quarter, didn't come back.
James Dylan Thompson, the safety, left and didn't return. The
veterans are kind of checking out Arizona. The points bread
certainly affecting that the Cardinals not likely to get a.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Whole lot of betting support in the markets in early
week action.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Ooh, I wonder if this team is checking out.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I bet against him last week and I got burnt
Teddy covers. Now the Raiders are headed to Philadelphia, who
do play tonight on Monday Night football. I think I'm
gonna use I have one survivor, one lowly survivor left,
and that I never have to talk about it again
in comment section, ear least not for the rest of
this season. And I think I'm gonna use Philadelphia as
one of the legs.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Do you think that's smart?

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Philadelphia coming off a road trip, going back home to
play the Raiders.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Raiders aren't winning a whole lot of games these days.
You know, if there's a team to fade, I wouldn't
argue against it. And obviously yesterday the Raiders completely dominated
pretty much start to almost finish. They played a really
good last two and a half minutes. If you had
taking the points look aheadline here, Philly minus twelve and
a half forty my powering number, Philly minus twelve. The

(13:01):
market's open twelve and a half thirty eight and a
half last night, and that's what we're seeing today. Obviously,
the Eagles haven't played yet, but it's not a scenario
where we can anticipate the Raiders getting a whole lot
of public support, especially got me Gino injured his hand
and shoulder. We'll have to see if Kenny Pickett plays
and Picket look good, looked relatively good for what the

(13:22):
Raiders' offensive looked like this season. He didn't turn the
ball over eight of eleven ninety seven yards eight point
eight yards per past attempt solid that being said, rushing
yard it's Denver one fifty two Vegas forty. You know
Pete Carroll talking about who the quarterback is going to
be this week quote, I'm going to do what I
think is the right thing to do, and if Gino

(13:42):
can play, I'm rooting for Gino to get back out
there and see what he does. We're not gonna play
him if he's not right, So Kenny will be ready
to go. I've seen a lot of Kenny in practice.
He's active, he's quick, he's really athletic. He's a good thinker,
he's clearly a competitive guy. I see nothing but positive stuff.
I'm coaching the hell out of him so that I
wanted to be ready if the opportunity pops. So at
this stage we don't know. My hunch is that if

(14:05):
Pickett plays, we're more likely to see Raider money than
if Gino plays. You know, from a power raking standpoint,
I'm not making a whole lot of difference. I'm making
a zero point zero percent adjustment between the qbs. But
when you have a younger QB with something to prove
as opposed a veteran playing out the string, sometimes you
get a bump off of that. As for Philly, they're
playing Monday night against the Chargers. They're off back to

(14:26):
back losses against Dallas Chicago. The last two games Philly
four and oh start three and one against the spread
four and four. Since both straight up and ats, they've
covered every game they've won. They failed to cover every
game they've lost over their last eight contest and that's
likely to be the case again tonight in a near
in this less than a field goal Eagle's favorite point

(14:48):
spread range.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
All right, here's a good question for you, Teddy. We
talk about drop offs from starters.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
Now.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
The Jets are on their third string quarterback Brady Cooking.
Yesterday I had them in a teaser and he bobbles
this on red zone. He bobbled the snap and then
he threw an interception. And I text my buddy Steven,
who does a lot of the teasers with me, and
he said, I said, I did not bet on Brady
cook And he goes, who the hell is that?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
And That's what I knew we had a problem.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
I knew he was the rookie for Missouri, but good grief,
was that ugly. Now they're headed on the road to
play the Jags.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
I do think that Jags.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Game was a little lopsided, obviously, because Danny Dimes appears
to have torn his achilles yesterday in that game. Talk
to me about this Jaguars team and them laying double
digits to Brady Cook and the Jets, barring Tyrod Taylor
making a comeback.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Look aheadline Jacksonville minus nine and a half, forty three
and a half. My powering number Jacksonville minus ten and
a half. The markets opened eleven and a half and
forty two last night, And of course this is all
a matter of how much you're gonna adjust for how
much worse are the Jets with Brady Cook than they
were with Tyrod Taylor? And the market are saying more

(15:58):
than I thought, obviously with the eleven and a half
and forty two last night. And again, look at the
OS logic live on screen right now, I'm seeing eleven
and a half's out there, there's a twelve, there's a
thirteen with Jews coming the other way. So I'm not
anticipating that the Jets are going to attract a whole
lot of money this week. And yet bra he Cooked,
the rookie from Missouri, finished fourteen of thirty five point

(16:19):
four yards per past them, zero touchdowns, two interceptions. I'll
say this, he was better than Max Prosmer for Minnesota
last week. That's the worst QB performance we're gonna see
from any quarterback this season.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
What we saw from.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Mott Brosmer when the Vikings got shut out. So Cook
was better than that. That being said, the Jets were
one to twelve on third downs, They were out game
by more than two yards per play, and they were
minus three in turnovers. The defense force none again and
allowed two hunred and thirty nine rushing yards at five
point eight yards per carry. You know, Aaron Glenn quote,
this game was definitely disappointing. Really hard to put this

(16:54):
in words. The only thing I can say is I
didn't have these guys. I didn't have these guys ready
to play. That was obvious by the way we went
out there and played. You know, fifteenth straight non playoff
season for the Jets.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
Jets, Jets, Jets.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
They're starting three rookies on defense right now and what
they do. They allowed touchdowns on each of the first
three series. They got one hundred and fifty three rushing
yards in the first half. Glenn was right, Jets were
not ready to play this past Sunday, and Miami made
them pay. As for Jacksonville, the defense, the Jets defense
isn't forcing turnover. Jacks defense is. They forced three turnovers

(17:28):
to knock Danny Dimes out of the game and they're
still member. We talked about it at the time, the
loss to the Texans, the game where they led twenty
nine to ten in the fourth quarter and then allowed
Houston to score three fourth quarter touchdowns and then get
a defensive score in the final play of the game
to win thirty seven, thirty seven to twenty nine. They're

(17:48):
still talking about that game, and that game has kind
of been a rallying cry for the Jags ever since
five and one now their last six games, the only
loss coming to the Texans, and they to talk about
how that lost is still haunting them. You know, Travis
at ten, At the end of the day, I feel
like no one likes us except for us. Just goes
along for being within the for being in this organization

(18:09):
and the way the organation has been for some time now,
we're not gonna get their respect. We kind of don't
even care. As long as we know we have inside
this locker room, we can go out there and take it.
There's no better feeling than being disrespected and having an
extra chip on your shoulder and having an extra edge.
And that same quote kind of echoed by Trevor Lawrence.
We feel we all feel like a really good team.

(18:29):
We probably don't get the credit we deserve. Everyone talks
about every other team, even our own division. All those
other teams are gonna go win the division, and nobody
cares about the Jaggs, which is fine. It's just kind
of how it is. We'll use it as a chip
on our shoulder and keep playing. It doesn't really matter.
Liam Cohen, same quote. I don't know if we'll ever
really get respect. That's the beauty of it. It ain't coming,

(18:50):
you know that, And that's totally fine. Our guys just
keep finding ways to get a little bit pissed off
and play their tails off at execute at a higher level.
So that whole well, no respect, no respect, no respect.
They're talking about that a lot in the Jaggs locker room.
They're talking about the game that they blew. In the
Jaggs locker room. Jacks was playing good football right now.
I know if they're playing last flight double digits with them,

(19:11):
good football with the Jaguars. From a powering standpoint, right now,
everybody as good as the Texans. Even though Houston is
a team getting the hype.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Teddy, the comment section is beating us to the next game.
They're already talking about the Cleveland Browns. And I got
some pushback yesterday because I said, I cannot believe I
wasted a survivor pick on Shardeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns,
and people were mad that I blamed it on Shador,
But I do think the reality was there was a
game turn turning point, if you will, where after he

(19:41):
threw that really bad interception, things really got away from
the brown team.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Then they were playing catchup.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
Then that really stupid two point conversion that the comment
section is talking about. Anyway, on to this week, Caleb
Williams and the Browns are bears. Excuse me, hand up,
been dead wrong about this team, and at least from
this year's perspective, but they had a shot to win
it there late or at least tied up there late
in Lambeau, Caleb Williams picked off there in the end zone.

(20:09):
Kind of break down this game for us. What are
we going to see from both these teams going forward?

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
So, and then of course the Browns debacle of a
two point conversion try. You know, that's not get anype
and that had every bit as much impactful impact on
anything as as.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
What we saw.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
That had almost as much impact on the Voys rad
That's what we saw versus here in Vegas, versus the
procos Brown's Bears look ahead line.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
There were sevens and seven and a half's out there.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
My powering number thirty nine and a half the total,
My powering number came to Chicago eight and a half.
The markets split last night seven slash seven and a
half and forty. I wrote, first thing this morning, oh
look Cleveland money, and then now, oh look, Chicago money
back up to seven and a half. There were sevens
and the sevenths have kind of been bought up this morning,
and now we're seeing seven and a half's forty the

(20:58):
prevailing total you know, showed us yesterday they're not a
team you necessarily want to lay points with Miles.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Garrett was great.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Three Tigers were lost in another sack, but the defense
got gashed one hundred and eighty four rushing.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
Yards in that ball game.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Garrett quote, I think we were really licking our chops
for the pass and they stuck with the run, and
we really shouldn't focused on stopping the run. You know,
Shadow was a leading rusher, Quinchohn Judkins fourteen to twenty six.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Let's than two yards per.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Carry yards per play worth Noting Cleveland lost the game, well,
they had six point four yards per play to Tennessee's
four point six, and when you win the yards per
play battle by nearly two usually win those games at
least straight up fashion. They were three or three in
the red zone. They hung twenty nine points in the snow.
Let's give Shad or standers credit. You know, three in
sixty four passing yards, three touchdowns, career highs. But the

(21:44):
two point conversion to try to tie the game was
as bad a play call as maybe the Raiders kicking
that field goal. I'm telling you it was brutal and
obviously cost Cleveland the game. Speaking of cost in the game,
what about Caleb Williams interception in the end zone in
Green Bay, which twenty two seconds left on a fourth
and one. You can question the play call, you can

(22:05):
question the execution. It was not a good throw from
will if he said that after the game. But the
guys has five fourth quarter comebacks this year, all right, Chicago,
even after losing yesterday, believes they can win all of
these games. That being said, are the a team that
we want to lay points with. The defense had a
lot of problems against Green Bay in terms of the

(22:25):
big play passing game. Packers converted an eight to twelve
on third downs. All three touchdowns were twenty plus yard plays.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
They only had one.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Takeaway, and the Bears, of course been living on takeaways
this season, and the betting market's very excited to see
Chicago not win the turnover battle and cash Obviously, if
you had the Packers yesterday, a wise guy side, you
got there by the hook, if you got the best
of the number.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
And I will take that after that Broncos game by
the same hook. Let's kind of get into these next
set of games, seady, But before we do, you mentioned
you've got to play up tonight for Monday Night Football.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Over at wagertalk dot com. What do you have going
on within the entire slate of games? And you do
a lot with NBA.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Obviously, college football only has one game this weekend. Are
you looking for anything for the college football playoff yet?

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Oh? Yeah, so today's gonna be a big bowl day,
all right, we haven't. You know, we did a little
bit of preliminary work last night. There weren't wasn't a
mature marketplace yet. We decided to table the discussion and
come back today, So we'll just spend some time with
college football. Absolutely, I'm not sure what I'm gonna post
and what I'm not gonna post. You want to be
real sure who's playing if you're going to post this early.
But we'll be working college to football bowls throughout the

(23:38):
court today. I'm not involved in hoops at all today.
It's a very limited card in both the NBA and
college basketball.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
I do like I have.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
An initial opinion on both NBA Cup games for tomorrow,
so we'll see where those numbers come out tonight. I
expect to be involved in the association and obviously off
to three and oh yesterday in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
The Sunday's have been good.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
I'm ten and four seventy one percent over the last
five Sunday so the Sunday's gonna be good. Let's see
if we get the Monday Night to be good again.
Check out my homepaget buzz, backslash, tc if you like
to get on board with tonight's Monday Night Winter. I
also want to thank all you guys for watching. I
want to thank you guys for commenting. The likes, the

Speaker 4 (24:27):
You like this type of stuff, give us a follow.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
Cheers and check out the homepage at wagertalk dot com.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
All Right, the game I'm really excited for because I
pretty much watched the Bills Bengals game. It was on
red Zone all day long because it was the most
exciting game yesterday morning. They're now headed to New England
looking for a little bit of revenge here.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
But we got a split number in the marketplace.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Yeah, we do.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Look aheadline here Pats minus one and a half forty
seven and a half My powering number came pick them.
The markets last night it was more Buffalo minus one
slash one and a half forty nine and a half,
and you talked about it right now. You can take
one with Buffalo, you can lay, you take one and

(25:15):
a half with New England. So if the game lands won,
you're very happy in that instance. But it is a
split line, and it's worth noting the quote unquote the
books that cater to the more professional betters are the
ones with New England favored the books that cater the
recreational betters.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
And again this is Monday morning.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
It doesn't necessarily mean anything, but right now, at least
at the shots of cater the pros, we got New
England minus one. At the shot that Chad cater to
the Joe's we have Buffalo minus one slash one and
a half. And again my number comes pick them. So
from a powering standpoint, I can't give you much in
that regard. Those offense didn't punt yesterday. You know, they

(25:54):
hung thirty two and they had to pick six against
Burrow six point nine yards per playing that ballgame. Two
straight wins for the first time in a month, and
each week I talk about the team I having a
kind of enigma with with my power rating. Buffalo was
that team. This week I spent a lot of time
thinking about the Bills, looking at the course of their season,
trying to decide is this team good or are they great?

(26:16):
What's the upside for Buffalo? Do we want Buffalo amongst
the legit contenders or not. They spent most of that
game looking like they were gonna lose. They got stopped
on downs, the James Cook fumble on first and goal
from the two, but they were able to take advantage
of Bengals mistakes when it mattered most. And that's kind
of the character that the Bills have. I give them
credit in that regard the Pats. They won ten straight,

(26:39):
you know, and then went into a bye week. I'm
not convinced that is a bet on scenario off that
thirty three to fifteen win on Monday Night football against
the Giants. You know, it's the longest winning streak since
twenty fifteen. Drake may interesting quote, just trying to be
the face, trying to be the conductor, trying to want
the pressure.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
You want the ball in my hands.

Speaker 3 (26:59):
A game like this that's likely to come down to
one team or the other team executing down the stretch.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
That a positive quote for.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
New England and Drake may in that regards this kid,
saying I can handle it.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
I want the pressure, all right.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Interesting scheduling spot for these two teams. They just faced
each other on Thanksgiving. Baltimore is now at the Bengals,
and as I mentioned, the Bengals put up a nice
fight yesterday there and Buffalo got the cover, had a
really good shot there to get the win until it
kind of got away from them late. Let's talk about
this Ravens team, though, Teddy, I don't know what to

(27:35):
make of them. You and I discussed last week. Maybe
Lamar's a little bit more injured than we thought. Are
we still on that or what is going on with
this offense?

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Look aheadline here since he.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
I'm sorry, Baltimore minus two and a half slash minus
three was a split line right around the key number
of three total fifty one and a half my powering number.
Has the Ravens won in this ballgame? I've downgraded Baltimore
because of what you said, Kelly. Lamar Jackson is not
right and that was very clear again in the loss
to Pittsburgh yesterday, the markets opened two and a half

(28:12):
fifty one and a half. Last night. We're seeing twos
in one and a half starting to pop up in
the markets right now, still two and a half. The
prevailing number total still sitting at fifty one and a half.
So worth noting that Baltimore, again, the key calls went
against the Ravens yesterday. But what do you want in

(28:33):
the locker room after the game. You want the team
saying we're turning the page, We're focusing on next week's
divisional matchup. That's not what we got from Baltimore, where
everyone complaining about the refs, you know, the potential interception
on Aaron Rodgers, the potential touchdown for likely you know,
and obviously both those calls went against Baltimore. Coach Harball

(28:55):
still bitching after the game. That's not a positive sign,
Lamar Jackson saying his frustration level is.

Speaker 4 (29:00):
Through the roof.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
You know, I feel like with the Thanksgiving game, we
shouldn't have lost that game with turnovers unfortunately, but this
one here, I don't know what happened. I thought it
was a touchdown. The restume of the call they wanted,
they believe it was right. So you gotta go with it.
I can't do the rest job. It is what it is.
I mean, I had Pittsburgh yesterday, and I'll tell you
flat out, I don't win a lot of games outright
when the opponent runs for two hundred and seventeen yards

(29:22):
at five point four yards per carry and my team
runs for thirty four yards at two point zero yards
per carry.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
But Baltimore two.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
To six in the red zone, minus one in turnovers,
and the Ravens defense Aaron Rodgers didn't complete a pass
longer than thirty one yards, and the whole month in
November he had four of at least that distance yesterday,
plus two more for more than twenty That's a defensive problem,
Anna Lamar is not healthy problem. That being said, Cincinnati,

(29:50):
you know defense is gonna get blamed again. They score
thirty four points and lost again. It's hard to win
when you give up thirty nine. It's hard to win
when your decant force a punt. It's hard to win
when you up twenty eight eight team in the fourth
quarter and Joe Burrow turns all over on back to
back possessions, his first turnovers in his four starts this season.
You know He did lead them down the field for
the back door touchdown, but then the defense a lot
of third and fifteen Josh Allen scramble and.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
That was that Worth noting.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
The quotes coming out of the Bengals locker room past tense,
those are quotes that don't tend to be bet on.
Zach Taylor just sick for the guys. They more plays
in us down the stretch. That was the game Joe
Burrow quote. Obviously, we are not where we want to
be as a team, arnings or organization past tense. That's
how the cookie crumbled this year. I would have loved
to have been out there more. I would have loved

(30:36):
to make more of an impact, but that wasn't the case.
When I start reading past tense quote from a team,
that team comes, it becomes a one way team for me,
either betting against the Bengals or believing the game alone.
And I'll tell you right now, I'm not laying points
with Baltimore, so this is a game I'm not likely
to be involved with.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Kill.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
I can't help but think I need to tease the
Cincinnati Bengals, but that's because I have a teaser addiction.
And we'll get to some more of those seasons spots,
because there's quite a few of them this week.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
No, let's get to the AFC West first. Teddy the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Last night we kind of spoke about this team and
not necessarily their fall from grace, but I think that
everybody's been so used to them being dominant over the past,
you know, five six seasons that now when they aren't
offensively just blowing everybody's mind, people kind of tend to overreact.
But I do think there are some inherent issues here
with Kansas City Chargers still a sizeable underdog here though

(31:32):
on the road.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Sure are look aadline here, casey four and a half,
forty four and a half my powering number. And again
this is after Ken City lost last night, but LA
hasn't played yet my powering numbers three and a half
the markets four and a half, forty four and a
half last night, and that's I think what we're seeing
still today. More there's some fours and four and a half,
forty three, forty three and a half. So we've seen

(31:53):
some under money and we've seen a little bit of
Chargers money. Obviously, Chargers now four and once up the
last five they only lost with team before the bye
and at the BACA at Jacksonville. The Chiefs off that
Sunday night lost to Houston. They're now what one in
four straight up for their last five ball games. Kansas
City not a team I'm excited about laying a price with.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, I just don't see a world where you want
to lay points with this team right now.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
And here's another team.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
All two teams, I'm not sure even what the game
we've got the Commanders. I know last week they took
a ton of steam, Jaden Daniels coming back and just
Minnesota and JJ McCarthy played their best game of the season.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
New York Giants, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
I know they can't keep Jamis in there when they've
got Jackson Dart, but it just seems like it's a
lot more fun.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
When Jamis is under center for the New York Giants.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
So Minnesota had a really good game. They blew out Cincinnati.
I think it was week three they blew out Cincinnati
where they yeah, yeah, yeah. So they've had other good
games this season. One last thing Rechargers Chiefs. If you
like the Chargers tonight, I wouldn't argue the concept of
putting a little two teamer in there with Chargers tonight,
along with Chargers against the Chiefs. If LA wins tonight,

(33:08):
that line is not likely to be four and a
half given the circumstances for those two squads. So that's
a possible way to maximize your investment. Commanders, look at line.
There were minus one and a half. There were minus
two and a half's total forty seven and a half.
My powering number has a giants minus one and a half.
The markets opened one and a half two two and

(33:29):
a half last night, forty six and a half for Washington.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
New York. We've seen over money come in. We've seen
the markets.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
They're not settled yet, but I'm seeing more two and
a half and twos than one and a half ones.
But we don't know what's gonna happen with the Washington's
QB situation. James Daniels came back. He did not last long.
He wasn't good in his return nine of twenty seventy
nine yards, no touchdowns, one pick, just three point nine
yards per pass THEMPT had four carries for sixteen yards
along a five and each of the last three games.

(33:58):
Jamee Daniels has been in for Washington's been knocked out,
so you know, Mariona's now one in five as a starter.
He threw a pick and lost a fumble in release
in relief of Daniels. Quote from Terry McLaurin the wide receiver.
When you get beat thirty one and nothing, it's not
about offense or defense.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
It's just bad.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
We didn't play any kind of complimentary football and this
is a result. Zach Ertz looks like he had a
season ending injury in the loss. In the full game,
you know, four point two yards for play, three turn over,
an offensive defense forced none worth noting after shutout losses
this year. The Titans won straight up at Arizona after
getting shut out of Houston. Many won straight up versus

(34:41):
Washington yesterday after getting shout out the previous week. The
Raiders lost on a miss two point conversion thirty to
twenty nine to the Jags in overtime. Off of shutout loss.
They cover the spread, and the Falcons beat the Commanders
by seven off their shoutout loss.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
That's four and.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Oh ats this season for teams that got shut out
the previous week. The Giants off of th already three
to fifteen loss on one in a football against the Pats,
and that game wasn't as you know.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
It was thirty to seven at halftime.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
That was their seventh straight loss, oh and three since
firing Brian the ball quote Jackson Dart, we're just scratching
and clown. I'm not playing soccer out here. You're gonna
get hit. Things happen. It's part of the game, you know, Dart.
Certainly bringing energy to the g men in this point
spread range, energy is not going to be enough. This

(35:28):
is one of those games interesting to consider.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
There.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
There's a case to be made for washing this week.
And whether I get there or that's another question. But
there's surely a case to be made for the Commanders
off that shutout loss, no show game.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
All right, Teddy.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
One of my favorite things that you talk about is
the drop off between whether it's starting quarterbacks, wide receivers,
offensive linemen with cluster injuries and so forth. So no
Daniel Jones. Now we have Riley Leonard going on the road.
We know how historically rook due in their first road start,

(36:02):
and the pointspread is definitely indicating it's not going to
be pretty for the Colts.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
So I made an adjustment for Indy, and again Danny
Dines was not healthy all right, so it wasn't like
Indy was right when their quarterback was on the field.
It was literally playing with a fractured tibia, broken leg.
I made a four point adjustment to my powering number.
The markets made a bigger one look aheadline here Seattle

(36:30):
three and a half, forty six and a half. My
powering number Seattle nine and a half. The markets opened
tens last ten and a half forty three and a
half last night, and we're seeing eleven and a half
and twelves out there again. A market adjustment between last
week and this week of look headline was three and
a half.

Speaker 4 (36:49):
Now we're seeing twelves.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
One player got hurt, that's a significant adjustment, and one
injured player got more injured. That being said Eileen Leonards,
no NFL quarterback, you know, seven to one start for
the Colts, one and four. Since the schedule cloll outs
close out Casey Houston, Jacksonville, Seattle, San Franz, Jacksonville, Houston, Oux,

(37:12):
they've already lost the first three quotes after the game,
Alex Pierce wide receiver quote, that's.

Speaker 4 (37:17):
Our team leader, our team captain.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
It's brutal. That'll be the challenge this week. Refocus the pass.
There's nothing we can do. We knew the magnitude of
this game. We needed to win this one. All we
can do is focus on the next one. Obviously, Indy,
they're promising start. They're trading two future number ones to
bring in a cornerback who's now on Indie reserve for
a team that doesn't look like they're gonna make the

(37:40):
playoffs anymore. These Colts went all in at the wrong time.
As for Seattle, I mean, second week in a row.
We're getting these special quotes again about this defense.

Speaker 4 (37:51):
You know, I'm gonna worry.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Quote with Stifens is super special. We got a lot
of special dudes on this team, from the first level
of the d line, the linebackers the sameecondary. This defense can
be historic almost the return of safety Julian loved, the
return of the defensive tackle Jiron Reid. This defense is
healthy right now. After the shutout of Minnesota, all they
did is hold Atlanta to three field goals. You know

(38:16):
that being said, Seattle's won ten games. Nine of those
ten wins have come against the quarterback who entered the
game ranked outside the top twenty in QBR, there's still
a question as whether the Seahawks defense is as good
as they've looked because they're facing bad offenses over four
because they're actually that good. That being said, the Colts

(38:37):
won't have a QB in the top twenty QBR in
this one. Seattle's defense could be poised to dominate once again, Teddy.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
When I saw this line pop yesterday, I thought, WHOA
what am I missing here?

Speaker 2 (38:49):
You know, the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
Everybody has been joking about them winning the Super Bowl,
And as a Broncos fan, I said, Okay, everybody calm
down just a smidge, but the Broncos have played really well,
actually at home.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Now they are a home underdog to the green Bay Packers.

Speaker 3 (39:04):
Yep, look ahead line here was. There were pick'em's, There
was green Bay minus one. There was green Bay minus one.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
And a half.

Speaker 3 (39:11):
My powering number, I thought, a total of forty seven.
I'm sorry, a total of forty two.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
I read that wrong. My apologies.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Sometimes my twos look like sevens number five. So there
was pick one and one and a half for green Bay,
total forty two. My number for the game came pick them.
The Packers opened one and a half two two and
a half last night, total of forty one and a half.
We've seen over money come in significant over money in
this ballgame. Forty two and a halfs, forty three, forty

(39:40):
three and a halfs out there and green Bay clearly
the favorite minus one minus I'm sorry, minus two minus
two and a half. There's a couple of ones out
there for the pack but the markets have said Denver
des there to be home dogs in this one. Jordan
Loves looked pretty good, you know, through the four touchdowns
again Thanksgiving in Detroit, through three more yesterday. You know,

(40:00):
three thousand yards this season twenty two t d's only
four I n t's Packers worth noting, and you're worry
about with green Bay is gonna have that same intensity
this year. Green Bay went one in five in division
last year. They're four to oh in division this year,
including a win yesterday. Josh Shacobs, that was the biggest
thing we wanted to harp on in the offseason was
divisional games. We know how important they are. This is

(40:22):
not a divisional game for the green Bay Packers. That
being said, the Broncos just won ten in a row.
You know they have a tie breaker with the other
eleven and two team in New England. You know, yes,
the back door was left open yesterday ball game, but
they had thirty nine plus minutes of possession.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
Bow Knicks dinked and.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Dunked his way effectively all game, thirty one completions, one
hundred and fifty two rushing yards to forty for Denver.
They're a really good team, bow Knicks quote. Ten in
a row is a long streak. You want to be
appreciate of this opportunity and appreciate of the winds now
matter how they come. At the same time, we're always
looking to get better. Again, my number comes pick them
for this, which tells you, guys that on a neutral

(41:02):
I've got Green Bay as the better of these two teams.
But the Packers, you know, up and down a level
of competition every single week, it feels, and Denver's kind
of the same way.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
This should be a good game.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
I think it's gonna be a good game.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
I think it's a great teaser spot here, Teddy, especially
with a lower total.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
I just locked that one in.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
Let's move along to well, A game that just got
a lot more interesting for Kelly on bet on it.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
This year.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
I gave off the Panthers to win the NFC South.
They're off a nice win over the Los Angeles Raiders,
sayings off that nice win. We already discussed over the Bucks.

Speaker 4 (41:36):
Yeah. The Panthers off a win against the.

Speaker 2 (41:38):
Rams, I'm sorry the Rams.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
Yeah, and then the bye week by week, which you know,
we'll talk about it just a minute. Look ahead line here,
Carolina minus two and a half, thirty eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
My powering number came Carolina three.

Speaker 3 (41:51):
The markets opened two and a half thirty nine and
a half last night, and we're seeing a split. They're
two and a half and their threes out there right now,
total of forty half.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
So we have seen some over money.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
And maybe that's warranted given the New Orleans actually had
an offense that looked okay.

Speaker 4 (42:06):
Yesterday.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
Bryce Young had a really good game against the Rams.
You know, youngest player in NFL history to have eleven
game winning drives in the fourth quarter overtime, passing Josh
Allen in that regards Ted McMillan talking about, but Bryce
Young in close games, his demeanor, his aura when it
comes to late drive is contagious. The proof is in
the putting he's under Now, what do you say eleven
times that the fact that your leader on office can

(42:28):
do that.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
Speaks volumes for sure. You know, I do worry.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
About the big win and then the bye week for
an immature team like Carolina, But I don't worry about
it that much.

Speaker 4 (42:41):
It's a negative, but it's not a crazy negative. Tyler Shuck.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
Now two and three as an NFL starter After the
win yesterday, I don't know if you want New Orleans
necessarily off a win.

Speaker 4 (42:50):
Is this team gonna put winning strikers winning streaks together?
Kellen Mora.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Guys have had a lot of adversity this year. They've
grown through this dural journey. Tyler Shuck. We could beat anyone.
When we're alling out, we're beating ourselves knowing how close
we've been in some of these losses. How you can
flip it on its head and we'll produce these big plays.
We get those wins. So Saints are clearly playing better.
Saints are clearly on a modest uptick. Carolina clearly the

(43:16):
better of the two teams. The spot is still the question.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
Okay, another great teaser spot. Just my opinion for what
it's worth low total. Divisional game.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Here's a game that I think it's going to be
very interesting.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
The Lions off that Thursday night football win over the
Dallas Cowboys, and I would say it was pretty dominant
fashion their teddy. I know a lot of people were
starting to buy onto the Cowboys and that was definitely
the time to sell. They're now playing that RAMS team,
which we just mentioned was off that loss to the
Panthers and took it out this last week on the Cardinals.

Speaker 4 (43:50):
We've been short on emergency betting. Elder, it's on this show.

Speaker 3 (43:52):
There's one that I need to give right now.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
One and a half. My powering number comes Rams only
three and a half. But the market's.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Really really like this RAMS team right now four and
a half, fifty two and a half. Last night, we've
seen nothing but Rams money. We've seen nothing but over money.
Fifty four and a half still out there in the
betty market place for the total if you like the
over bet the over right now, mostly fifty five is seen.
Fifty five and a half turned a pop, Rams taking money.
There were four and a halfs now, there were fives

(44:26):
and then five and a half. There's still a four
and a half's out there, but leading indicator books already
up to six.

Speaker 4 (44:32):
On the LA Rams.

Speaker 3 (44:34):
The Rams bounce back win yesterday has them in a
year where everybody seems flawed.

Speaker 4 (44:40):
The Rams are now.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
From a futures perspective of Rams and the teams to
beat in the n f C. So we're seeing Rams money.
We're seeing Over money first thing on Monday morning. If
you like either of those two, bet that sooner rather
than later. You know, Lions have extra prep time off
the Thursday games the last two weeks. Dak Prescott five times,

(45:05):
you know, Jared Goff, going back to LA quote, you
can see an uptick in urgency from everyone.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
You know, we're known in this quote.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
I like to coach in the opposing coaches Brian Schottenheimer,
seemed like every time we got some momentum, they hit
another explosive play. They have a lot of speed. The
Brian Branch injuries worring everyone for Detroit. Brian Branch pro
bowler safety who got hurt, and of course Thomas Harper,
who was filling in for the other pro bowler, Kirby.
He left the game as well with a concussion, so
potential injury concerns for Detroit in the secondary, which is

(45:36):
not necessarily what you want against Matthew Stafford. Again, the
quote from the opposing coaches, Jonathan Gannon from Arizona after
after the loss yesterday, quote, give credit to LA. They
were better than us in every fast of the game. Coaching,
playing offense, defense, special teams. That was very humbling. At
one point, it's ten to ten, You look up, you're
down a lot of points.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
Quick.

Speaker 3 (45:53):
Five hundred and thirty net yards for the Rams yesterday,
two and two and twelve yards from Williams decorum on
the ground. Stafford his seventh game of the season with
three or more passing touchdowns, most in the NFL. That
was a dominant showing for the Rams.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
Now three and oh straight up and against the spread.

Speaker 3 (46:09):
Off a loss, the markets saying LA is a team
to beat in the NFC right now.

Speaker 2 (46:15):
All right? Yesterday, Well least, let's go back to last week.

Speaker 1 (46:18):
Last week we talked about motivation and how franchises might
want teams to tank, but teams don't want teams to tank,
at least the players don't. And the Titans showed a
lot of fight yesterday.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
Now they're headed to San Francisco. Do you think that
this is those types.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Of wins where bad teams, if you will, the Saints
the Titans can capitalize off a win and take it
to the next game.

Speaker 4 (46:41):
I worried more about a letdown than a carrier effect
we got.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
You know, you're struggling. You're struggling, you're trying to get
to win. You finally get to win. Oh yeah, let's
celerate well part of tonight and then the energy for
practice on the next day is and quite what it
should be.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
In the effort on the field, it's quite what it
should be.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
I'm not anticipating the bottom feeders to suddenly come alive
and reel off December winnings. Weeak it happens, but I
don't know the Tennessee is that team. Look headline here,
Sam Fran minus twelve and a half forty is seven
and a half my powering number, sorry, forty two and
a half. I gotta be more careful with that. Twelve

(47:16):
and a half forty two and a half. Titans Niners
my powering number, San Fran twelve. The market's open twelve
and a half forty three and a half. We have
seen over money come in for this one. Forty four
and a half now the prevailing number, although leading indicator
books are pointing under now on the forty four and
a half, so there's no urgency.

Speaker 4 (47:32):
If you missed it, you missed it. Tennessee finally and
off of the game plan that made sense.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
There are all these games don in this year where
Tennessee was dropping their rookie quarterback the past forty times
and handing them ball over twelve oh yesterday thirty five
carried one hundred and eighty four yards Tony Pollard a
huge game, and cam Ward fourteen to twenty eight for
a Bucks seventeen. Nothing downfield at all, that's fine. They
were still out gained by one point eight yards for
played by Cleveland. First win for the interim head coach

(47:57):
Mike McCoy in seven games. Know Cedric Gray, the linebacker quote,
we hadn't won since Week five, so it feels amazing.
I'm not worried about the number one overall pick. We're ballplayers.
We got heart every time we step on the field.

Speaker 4 (48:14):
They did, they showed up. I don't know if they
can do it again in San Franz.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
And then you know, when you talk about it off
a win now, traveling across the country facing a good team.

Speaker 4 (48:23):
If things go south, they could go really south.

Speaker 3 (48:26):
Of course, the forty nine ers off at twenty six
to eight win at Cleveland and a bye week. Shanahan
off of by three and oh straight up and against
the spread the last three years. That being said, the
previous five years only two and three straight up, two
and three against the spread. It has not historically been
his or the niners best role.

Speaker 1 (48:42):
All Right, Sunday Night football this one. We mentioned the
Minnesota Vikings earlier and how they've had a couple of
nice wins this year, yet they're almost a touchdown underdog
here at Dallas.

Speaker 2 (48:55):
Who's looking to bounce back after that Thursday night football?

Speaker 3 (48:58):
Yeah, look at line here in Dallas minus seven total
forty seven and a half.

Speaker 4 (49:04):
My powering number comes Dallas six and a half.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
The markets opened six six and a half last night
forty seven and a half. And we've seen a little
bit of Minnesota. There are more six is today than
six and a half.

Speaker 4 (49:16):
Last night. There was more six and a halfs than sixes.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
But it's not like the Markets has done a whole
lot in this ballgame side or total. The Vikings entered
yesterday's game having twenty two consecutive possessions without scoring a touchdown,
and they put up touchdowns yesterday. McCarthy, McCarthy, three of them.

Speaker 4 (49:34):
When they can run the football, McCarthy is fine.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
You know. They were thirty four for one SI's two
on the ground and yesterday's game and in theory, you're
supposed to be a little run against Dallas. The biggest
problem for Minnesota this year has been turnovers. They entered
the game with the league worst minus fifteen margin yesterday
and yesterday the offense didn't turn them all over at all.
The defense four is three, you know, so certainly positive

(49:57):
signs for Minnesota, but you worry again about a bad
team off an xcal win Dallas minus three churners against
a Lions extra time to repair. Defense allowed four touchdowns
of five red zone possessions. Seedy Lamb check his status.
He did suffer concussion in that ballgame. But they were
selling for field goals.

Speaker 4 (50:14):
You know.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Brandon Aubrey sixty three from fifty five plus and five
all together, then the first kicker in NFL history to
make three from fifty five plus in a game. The
Dak Prescott quote is worth noting after the loss quote.
These guys aren't deflated right now. They are pissed off.
We just need to use that the right way as
fuel for the rest of the season. Dallas now sixty

(50:35):
six and one. They have no margin for error when
it comes to playoff possibilities in an NFC where it's
going to be tough for.

Speaker 4 (50:46):
Dallas and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (50:46):
I think number ten right now, you know there's Detroit's
not even in the playoffs as the season ended today.
Dallas got some work to do. They know it, and
they're saying the right things in that regard off the
loss to the Lions on Thursday night.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
All right, before we get into Monday Football right now,
you can join Teddy covers for college football and NFL
right night, right now over at wager Talk dot com
WT dot Buzz. He also has a Bowl special if
you're looking just for those sides of things one forty
nine through the bowl season WT dot Buzz, backslash TC

(51:20):
Teddy Covers Monday Night Football. I'm looking at it right
now on the odd screen. It's going to be interesting
because this is kind of a cheap line and it
kind of was one of those other ones that stood
out to me. The Miami Dolphins off a nice road win,
Pittsburgh Steelers beat their divisional rival of the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
Talk to me about Monday.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Night football A cheap line. I thought it was too
much at first glance.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
Well, that's what I feel like.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
That's what I feel like, cheap as in fishy. I
should apologize. WHOA, that seems a little I thought it
was a little cheap. I thought, okay, that makes me
want to be all over the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (51:54):
So look at line here.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
There were threes and three and a half for the
Steelers total forty one and a half. My powery number
only comes Pittsburgh one and a half, and the markets
opened three and a half last night forty two and
a half. We've seen a little bit of Miami money,
but the three and a half are largely holding. There's
a couple of threes out there. That being said, my
parenting number says one and a half, and I feel like,

(52:16):
if you'll like the Dolphins, Dan, let's do one more
of these emergency betting others.

Speaker 4 (52:22):
Before this show is through. Like the Dolphins, sooner rather
than later.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
Grab a three and a half right now, it's not
going up. It can only come down. And again my
Parmery numbers is one and a half for this ballgame.
Rodgers eight point four yards were passing no picks yesterday
actually the game quote. And at least maybe you guys
got the hell up for a week, you know, yesterday
he didn't. Again, he didn't have a pass longer than

(52:47):
thirty one yards for the whole month of November. Yesterday
had four thirty one plus and then two more twenty
yard passes, twenty seven points in a game with the
Steelers gave up two hundred and seventeen rushing yards and
at seventeen care for thirty four yards themselves. You don't
usually see those type of issues or those type of
performances from teams that have those type of numbers. So

(53:09):
Pittsburghday's win against Ravens, I'll leave it at that. Dolphins
last year started two and six, then went six and
two the next eight. This year started one and six,
now they're five and one the last six and again,
when you rush for two and thirty nine yards on
the ground, and you do that in the NFL, you win.
When you go four to four in the red zone,
like Miami did yesterday. When you do that, you win.

(53:31):
With the defense forces three turnover Dolphins has none. When
you go in the NFL, you win. They want a
cold other weather game. Last year in Cleveland, they won
a cold weather game yesterday in New York. So there's
certainly hope for Miami in a cold weather game. Here
to a tag of Lowe quote, I don't think I've
been in the league where I've had a stretch like
this one in terms of the start of the year

(53:52):
and finding that flow towards a later end of the season.
Miami feeling like they have a flow right now. Pittsburgh
coming off a tough, hard fought and maybe a little
bit lucky divisional win and laying more than a field
goal in early betting action this week.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
