Speaker 1 (00:01):
What's up? Everybody? Welcome into another episode of Profit Picks.
If you are new, we always start the show being transparent.
Yesterday I went two and two. My top play, however,
was on the Houston Cougar's first half and they did
not come through. So two and two not a good
day yesterday. See if we can do a little bit

(00:22):
better here today, you know, go to be back with you.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
How you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
That's everything been for you?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Thanks are good ski two and one in the association yesterday,
one and two in college too. So three and three,
I guess it's equal to what you had two and two.
A couple of big the bigger plays in the NBA
one though, so slight a bit of a profit there,
but nice to get the NBA back on track a
little bit, for sure, and lots of college on board today.

(00:50):
But we'll get to this NBA short card right now.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Let's get to it. Three games on the slate. That
means we will start with and I just screwed that up,
start with Yeah, I don't know what happened here, but
we'll start with Atlanta and Washington. This one opened up
minus ten looks like ten and a half total of
in two thirty six and a half still looks like that.

(01:17):
For this Atlanta team, Lukenard is questionable, there's no Tree
Young and then for Washington, Bagley's questionable. Can I te
George's questionable? Trey Johnson is out. I do believe Hawks
haven't sent him to run up the score in this
one because they'll play the Cavs next. I believe. I
think they need to run up the score in this

(01:38):
one and win their next game to get into the
next round. I believe so versus Wizards, it's a good
team to be able to run up the score against,
especially without you know, if Kyant George misses. So it's
kind of Hawks are passed for me here, Vino, how
are you seeing this?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Yeah, it's hard to build the case for Washington ski.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Four of the last five games the Wizards have lost
by more than what's required here today. I think the
last four losses were by eleven plus. Last game they
played Chicago pretty tough. They come home first game back
off a three game road trip. There's some negatives for
Washington for sure, defensively, and for what it's worth, the

(02:21):
Hawks have not been bad without Trey in the lineup.
So we talk a little bit about their defensive backcourt
and how they're pretty good out there. Washington isn't really
a team that scores a lot in the interior, especially
with the injuries. So I would have to lean Atlanta here.
I didn't play the game, but it's hard to sell Washington.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's hard to get to the window with Washington, to
be honest.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, I couldn't. I couldn't do it. I couldn't do
with Washington. I know they have a little bit of
rest edge or whatever, but especially if Keante George is
not available, I just have a hard time doing it.
Is looking at Atlanta team total. I mean one thing
I'll say, you know, when Trey Young went out, this
Atlanta defense was looking really really good for a good stretch.

(03:09):
It's kind of falling off a little bit, you know
as of late. I feel like, so maybe just trusting
them more to score, which I feel like everybody does
on this Wizards defense might not be a bad thing
to do here. Taking a look Wizards last few opponents
one twenty one to the Bulls, one forty to the Raptors,
one twenty to the Wolves, one twenty nine to the

(03:31):
Nets one thirty five one thirty seven. I mean, any
given night they could give it up, so could be
a good pivot to just go with that Atlanta team. Total.
All right, we have Magic and Sixers. Magic opened up
as a one point road favorite, now up to three
even three and a half's out there, and Total didn't
have too much movement at least from the opener of

(03:54):
two twenty eight and a half. We'll call it. I mean,
it's all over. I see it two twenty nine, I
see two twenty seven and a half. So absolutely, you
guys know, make sure you line shop to get the
best of the number. For the Magic, there's no mo
there's no Polo for the Sixers. There's no oubre pg
embiid Edgecombe or Bona, so missing missing quite a bit

(04:18):
for the Sixers. Team. Magic another team who I'm pretty
sure need this win, and I think they have another
big game coming up as well after this, as far
as winning the group, as far as advancing in this tournament.
It is their third game in four nights, fourth and six.
They did also play the Sixers team earlier in the season.

(04:40):
I believe they Yeah, they lost one to twenty four
to win thirty six, So a chance for them to
get some revenge here, however, it will have to be
without Polo. I feel like the Sixers, I mean, I'm sorry,
I feel like the Magic have been playing playing solid lately.
I mean yeah, they have covered four of the last
five games here, Sixers, I feel like it's starting to

(05:03):
become too many injuries, It's becoming hard to trust them.
So I'm leaning with the Magic here. I think that's
definitely my preferred side. Another thing to mention here, Veno
the Magic number one fast break points last five games.

(05:24):
I know they're top five on the season and the Sixers,
I mean they are bottom five and fast break defense
on the season. So I think honestly both teams are.
But the Magic has been really running lately, the Sixers
have not. I lean towards Magic here. How do you
view this one?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
You know, yeah, I got a bitter number.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
I got two and a half about three hours ago
this morning.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
With the Magic.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
The injuries to me just too much for Philly to
overcome here. It's a lot of their speed to the
skip when you talk about Edgecomb and Oubre. They've been
teaming up with Maxi to form a pretty solid three.
And I've spoken about a few times before his energy
level when he comes in, blocking shots, rebounding, playing defense,

(06:06):
that's missing. You get Andre Drummond out there, who it's
nice for the twenty minutes he's going to play. But
Orlando should have advantages interior wise. To add to what
you're talking about fast break wise. Just don't think Philly
can play the brand of ball that they want to
play that they've been successful playing this year, which is
almost extreme.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Tempo, pretty a little bit beyond up tempo. And you
know Orlando hasn't really given up on it.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
You look at these final scores, they haven't really given
up on trying to score points here. So I think
they can outscore them the total. I let go because
I thought the side was the right play here. Orlando
off the loss to Boston the other night with their
defense absolutely got torch. Boston scored one hundred and thirty eight.
So we know how these coaches are when they try
to fix what went wrong the prior game.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
The prior game, the defense went wrong. I think there's
a lot of reasons to like Orlando.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Here's probably even still room at this price. I mean,
they could they should win this game by two buckets.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I think they should and to your point, yeah, I
mean offense, theyen able to score. They're gonna push it
when they have chances. In transition, that total does look
pretty appealing. But yeah, I hear what you're saying about defense.
So I'll think about that one a little bit more.
Last game on the slate here ro you know, running
through these games quick and easy. Here, Clippers and Lakers

(07:29):
opened up minus five. I see six and a halfs
out there. Total open two twenty nine. We'll call that
the consensus still right now as far as an injury report,
and let me actually just screwed this up. Let me
refresh and uh yeah, there we go. So Aiighten is out,

(07:50):
Bogdanovich is questionable. Jones and Miller also while for the
Clippers team, Kawhi looks like he's gonna be out there.
I'm expecting Kawhi to have some kind of a minus limit. Also,
I mean, this is not a good spot for the Clippers.
They are you can call this. I mean it's pro

(08:13):
game technically. I mean, even if you want to call
it a home game, their schedule has just been what
is this? I mean, I'm just call it how it is.
Seventh straight road game, you want to call it a
home game, okay, but they've been on that East coast
for like ten plus days. I think we could see
some travel fatigue from them. I think it may take
time for you know, Kawhi and them to get in

(08:36):
rhythm all together. And for the Lakers, I feel like
they've been playing good basketball. I don't like that eighting
is out, especially when you have Zubac on the other side.
But one thing I do know is Luca Hayes the Clippers.
I trust him to do his part. I'm not mad
if you want to look at his points specifically. But

(08:58):
JJ Riddick is also doing a good job of, you know,
turning things around, because for a while, Clippers were just
beating on the Lakers. Now the Lakers, you know, I
feel like we've beaten them the last few times. The
Lakers another team that needs to win here to win
their group. They don't necessarily need to win by a
big margin, I don't believe, but they do need to win.
Think about the Lakers, they're wins as favorites. They usually

(09:22):
come and covers five out of the six. So I
like the Lakers here. I took them at five and
a half. What do you think you're you.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Know, yeah, this one wasn't real hard for me, Ski
because I basically bet it on situation and you said it.
I'll just repeat it. It's six consecutive road games for
the Clippers and then back to Los Angeles. Then again,
it's not their home arena, but it's their home city.
So we always look to play against first game back home,

(09:52):
especially off of that type of trip.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Six games on the.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
East Coast, that stuff, and with the you know, the
walkers and tennis balls and now you're coming back. It
just doesn't add up to a really solid performance out
of the Clippers here I could see.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
And Lakers, for.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
What it's worth, I think you were talking about margin
of victory for them. Just recently, win by twenty four
of the Milwaukee, win by fourteen against Utah, win by
fourteen against New Orleans. It's almost like they had crushed Utah,
scored one hundred and forty on them, and in the
second game they just kind of had a little walk through.
I would expect them to be ready here. So many

(10:28):
scoring threats now with Lebron back too, I just don't
know that the Clippers are in and the NBA, you know,
it becomes so situational.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Ski.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
I just don't think it's a really good spot for
the Clippers, and I think it is a really good
spot for the Lakers. So I did lay six and
a half in this game with La Lakers.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
I like it. I like it.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I like it. Propwise, let's see what Marcus looking at here.
He says, yes, Luca definitely hates him, he likes the Lakers.
He likes Lebron over seven and a half assists, Subac over
tend to have rebounds. Yeah, I like that Lebron a
sis may think about adding rebounds to it, but it's definitely,
you know, a good facilitator. We've seen that since he's

(11:08):
been back. And Zubac rebounds, I mean not a whole
lot of I mean no aiding. On the other side,
I could absolutely see Zubac getting those rebounds. I might
even look at I mean, he's the one person I
might even look at points and rebounds for Zubac in
this matchup. So I think those could be some good
props there. You know, I think we did all right job.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Man.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
It was a quick three piece less than twelve minutes,
but I think we did all right. Unless there's anything
else you want to add on Clippers Lakers, we'll move it.
Move it on over the best bets and stuff.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Now, like I said, that one was fairly easy for me,
ski I didn't dig too deep beyond the situation.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Just think that light's up good for LA all.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Right, So before we actually get the best bets a
reminder had to look at the date today. It is
five dollars Tuesday. So you can go to ross page
or my page and you'll get, you know, a top
play from us check us out for only five bucks.
Outside of that, I'm pretty sure this is continuing to
be a thing we can warrior if you if you

(12:11):
want to get involved with you know what, maybe that's
not the best time to promote it, rob you know,
because we do have a lot of Thursday football, but Saturday,
Sunday and Monday get it off for forty nine bucks.
And we're talking about a lot of basketball. If you
want to rock with just the basketball, three days of
college basketball and NBA only forty nine bucks. If you

(12:32):
want maybe both sports together, you want a little bit
longer ten days, it picks for less than ten dollars
a day. And then we do always have that you know,
you can take five hundred dollars off. The one year
past comes out to about one hundred and twenty five
dollars a month. And if you go and rock with
you Know for a year, you'll get a twenty five
percent bonus coupon. You can come check out some stuff

(12:52):
that I have as well. On that note, Rob, you know,
we're gonna slide over the best bets. If there's anything
else you like, vote, feel free and if you have
a best bet for the show, we'd love to hear it.
If you don't, it's all good.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
And for those of you interested in football all the
way throughout the Super Bowl, I think there's another package
specifically for football from now till the end of the
NFL season super Bowl sometime in February. I think I
think the price was like three twenty nine or something
like that for.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Everything all inclusive.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
And I only mention that because the NFL has been
simply terrific for me so far this season. And to
what you said, Ski, for folks that are interested, I
would just ask customer service that Friday after Thanksgiving is
always such a huge.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
College football card.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
It's like they split the Saturday card in half some
Friday a lot Saturday. Maybe they give you the extra day.
I'm not quite positive. I know there are Thanksgiving packages
out there right now. Best bet Ski, I'm just gonna
go where we ended off here. I like the Lakers
minus six and a half. I could see LA, just
the Clippers side getting a little bit fatigued, whether it

(13:59):
be from the outset or late. We've seen them get
blown out in instances this year without any real resistance,
and I just think that since le Brons come back,
LA's got a little bit, not that they didn't have
life before, but I think they got a little extra
life right now. You talk about how important it is
for the Cup standings, I think the Lakers minus six
and a half the right way to go.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
That'll be my best bet.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
All right, good stuff from Vino. For myself, I do
a little bit different, something we did not talk about.
It's been a little you know, back and forth so
far to start this season, but we're gonna continue rocking
with it. I'm going with the Houston Cougars in the
first half. They do play Tennessee today, so not the
easiest of games, but especially after that slow you know,

(14:43):
not the best game they played yesterday. I think they'll
come out and throw a hard first punch, so Houston
Cougar's first half. I did take them on the money
line minus one thirty five VENO. Great to be back
with you doing the show. I know it is Thanksgiving week,
so I'm not going to be doing a whole lot together,

(15:06):
but we'll see. We'll talk about it soon when we
come back. Everybody else out there, we appreciate you racking
with us as well. Best of luck on all your action,
and we'll catch you guys again later
