Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Everybody?

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome into another episode of Profit Picks. If you are new,
we always start this show by being transparent. Yesterday ended
up being a good day for myself. It took me
some time, but I ended up having six plays yesterday.
Rob you know Nick's minus four and a half heat
team total under one seventeen and a half. Hi may

(00:24):
Hakis junior under ten and a half points, Magic minus
one fifteen been a college winner with Clemson plus five
and a half. The loser was og Nanobi over fourteen
and a half points. He missed that one by a bucket.
So five and one day overall for me yesterday. Try
to keep that going. I think that's now what is it?
Fifty seven and thirty two last three weeks as far

(00:46):
as NBA and college basketball, So try to keep that up.
What's going on with you, Vino? How you doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I am good today? Ski maybe stage rolled bike quickly.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yesterday the Association miam be bad, the Knicks good. So
it was the one and one split there in the
college basketball we had.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Boy, Michigan is just a force in college basketball. If
anybody paid attention, team total over eighty five.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Or eighty three and a half, wound up being really easy,
had a team total with with Columbia as a matter
of fact. Then they didn't get over and that game
went overtime. I thought had a chance when I got
to overtime, but they still could not get there, missed
by a bucket. So had a pretty much a split

(01:32):
day and we'll look forward to getting the money tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Now, all right, we have two NBA games we're going
to talk about here. We'll start in Oklahoma City with
the Suns taking on a Thunder total. I mean, I'm sorry,
the line came down from fifteen and a half to
fourteen and a half total, sitting about at the opener
of two twenty four and a half for Okay. See

(01:55):
Hartenstein and Isaiah Joe are out for Phoenix, Devin Booker questionable,
Kobe Brad questionable, Jalen Green out. You know, I have
a very very hard time being against this Thunder team.
I don't want to do it, honestly. I feel like

(02:19):
the Thunder can name their number versus Son's team, and
I honestly just worry a little bit about how much
the Sons can contribute, especially if you're missing Devin Booker.
Tonight so I guess I'll lean Thunder team total over.
How do you view this one?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, it's hard without Bookers Ski. He's been out for
two games now. Phoenix has scored ninety eight and one aweight.
Probably not enough if you're gonna play okay c right,
if they don't have him, I don't think that's enough
to cover a.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Number against the Thunder.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
You would think maybe maybe the just have run out
of things to go after, because it appears they're going
after this Cup. They just want every trophy available right now,
best Record, World Championship, Everett's Cup, whatever it is they
seem to go after. Their health is in better shape.
I know last week we talked a lot about a

(03:19):
set of games where they didn't have Hartenstein, where they
didn't have Dort, where they didn't have Caruso. All but
Hartenstein are back here, and I think even if Devin
Booker does play, it becomes a little more difficult for him.
He's got a groin injury, so that can't be pleasant
to play with even if he does play. But then,
you know, you just look at these matchups and between

(03:40):
Keson Wallace and lou Dort, those are two guys you
could run at Booker all night long and make his
life miserable. The game that these two teams just played recently,
Booker was five of thirteen from the floor, two up
seven from three, not necessarily a good shooting night. He
did make some hay at the free throw line nine
of eleven, but those were twenty one harder in points

(04:01):
against the OKCE defense, which included Wallace and.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Dort that night. Excuse me, just Wallace, Wallas and Caruso.
So I don't know where they come up with enough
points here. I think you said that already, but I'll
reiterate it.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
And on the other side of the coin and SGA
had thirty seven, even though they only won by four,
he had thirty seven.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
It was pretty easy for him. He too, lived at
the free throw line. I think it was like fourteen
of sixteen from the free drow line.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
And now that you have Jalen Williams back for like
six or eight games, now fully integrated back into the offense.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Check.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I don't know that the Hartenstein injury matters much.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
I would think at home, okay, see, I will say
this about the total Oklahoma City's four and one over
the number their last five games but I think what's
more important is how far over the total they've gone.
Like tonight's total, I want to get it as we speak,
two twenty four and a half. Right, So, last five

(05:00):
games that the niche game was two twenty three and
a half, they went over by eighteen and a half
points A two thirty four and a half. Against Portland
they got over by three and a half, a two
twenty two and a half, which is right in this range,
over by thirteen and a half, the next game against
Dallas over by thirteen and a half, and then most
recently went to Utah in a high priced game two

(05:22):
thirty four and a half and didn't get there, missed
by two and a half points. Out of that set
of five, two of them were at home. Those are
the two largest over margins thirteen and a half and
eighteen and a half. I don't know, this total might
be a little bit too low, simply it's probably there
because Booker is still questionable. But I can almost see

(05:42):
it getting over the number two, and mostly due to
the Oka C side.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
So I know you said team totally just going to
put a number to it.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
They had one nineteen and a half right now, okay
See gets to one twenty on a regular basis, tough
to bet against that stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Yeah, I'm looking down their game lot. I mean one, two, three,
four or five five in a row, seven of their
last eight one twenty plus. It just seems I mean
the Suns maybe they're I mean their defense. They held
the Timberwols, the one O five Lakers, one o eight

(06:20):
rockets one seventeen. Are we not giving the Suns defense
enough credit? Uh, I don't know. I think okay See
offense might trump that.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yeah, because if we just go back to November twenty eighth,
which is about twelve days ago, they got one twenty
three against Phoenix in this building, and and Phoenix was
pretty I think it looks like there.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Was no Grayson Allen.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
As I look at the box score, there was no
Grayson Allen and no Ryan Done. If you consider those
two guys worth five points of defense, then maybe you
don't want to play over.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
But if you don't.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Probably get there with Okasey in their team total over,
It's just interesting how hard they play every night. Ski
it just doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah, And to that point, I mean, it is the
fourth straight road game I believe for this Phoenix team
could be tired from this long road trip a little
bit minus your star Devin Buoker versus a well rested
Thunder team getting guys back. Might have to look towards
the Thunder here. And to what you said about the total,
I mean, I get it, and I still trust Okay

(07:28):
see side to score, but I have to mention that
you know, Dort Hardenstein and Caruso are out for these
last few games, so that definitely affects Okay sees defense
with that team total, I think that that could be
the move. So we'll move over to the next game,

(07:49):
Spurs and Lakers. This one opened up a big moves
on both sides and total opened up more than a half.
That's high at seven and a half mostly sevens So
total open two thirty four and to have looks like
two forty and a half right now, and let me
just refresh for the Lakers maxically, but is questionable for

(08:11):
the Spurs winby still not ready to make a return.
Brian and McLoughlin are questionable. Man. You know the Lakers.
Here's the thing. The Spurs. I don't really like them,
like I said recently, like when they're laying points. But

(08:33):
if I'm playing good enough basketball to keep these games
respectable seven points, it's quite a bit for how well
the Spurs have been playing. My first thought Darren Fox.
He's a guy that always kills the Lakers, and I'm
looking at Luka, Doncics and Reeves on the other side.
Darren Fox should be able to get to his point
prop tonight. I didn't look at the number. I'd assume

(08:54):
it's twenty five and a half, twenty four and a
half something like that, but I definitely think he can.
It's a night Whereking after thirty. Yeah, I just I
still think the Spurs are going to be able to score,
and you know it definitely hurts. The defense for them
without Winby is not looked great, so the Lakers should

(09:14):
be able to score too. We know the Lakers defense
hasn't looked great. I think this is a Spurs and
over if I'm picking both side and total here, Rob,
you know, how do you feel about it?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I feel like I wish I had gotten to the
total sooner ski two thirty four and a half all
the way up to forty and a half an hour.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Maybe it'd open two thirty five, but it's a huge move.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
On this total, and for all the reasons that you
just described, it makes sense. You know, San Antonio has
played one home game since before Thanksgiving. Their last nine games,
if you include tonight, eight of them have been on
the road, not all in succession. There was one home
game to break it up, but it's a long ass
time to be out on the road if you're seeing
Antonio and I get this game has meaning and Steven

(10:00):
so it is back right, so you know, the offense
gets a little bit better.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
But the Lakers are back.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Hole again too now and for them, probably as cohesive
as they've been in a while, so I could see
them scoring in this game too. That defense for San Antone,
we talked about it last week. You just mentioned it now.
Without that rim protection, it has not been great. Just
go through the number of points they've allowed recently, one

(10:25):
twenty six, one thirty six, one, twenty five, one, nineteen, one, thirty,
et cetera, et cetera, on down the line to the
point that they gave up one thirty two to New
Orleans the other night, which isn't such a great offense
without Zion. So I think you know, San Antone's played
an awful lot of overs. I could still I want
to try and talk myself into playing over two forty

(10:45):
and a half, even at this point, because it looks
like a game where the Lakers could get mid one twenties,
and if San Antonio chases well enough, which they probably can,
we would get there.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
But again, I kind of am mad myself for not.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Getting there right off the back and picking off that
two thirty four or even you know, up to two
thirty six. It would have been a lot easier to
make the play then than it is now.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I still think this one is, you know, capable of
getting over to two forty and a half. I mean,
just looking at both of these teams. We're talking about it,
but let's put some numbers to it, right, bottom five
defensive rated teams, last five games, both of them, Top
six offensive rated teams. Face hasn't been there for the Lakers,
has been there for the Spurs, but Lakers continue to

(11:32):
go over anyway, just the complete lack of defense. If
you look at last five games with their games are
averaging for the Spurs two forty six. I'm sorry you
had two forty six for them for the Lakers to
forty one point eight, So I still think there's some
wiggle room for the total. And I think I have

(11:54):
to stand on what I always say, Rob. You know,
as much as I love the Lakers and they can
still win, you can't. If I can't trust you to
get stops, how can I trust you to win by margin?
So it's Spurs and over in this game. Looking at
the chat here, nice guy said, Spurs love to start

(12:16):
out hot, but they never keep a league. Mark is
going with, Okay, see on the big number and the
Laker game over looks like you got a little bit
better number on that over than we see right now,
So good job on that. And you know he thinks
San Antonio old score, he has their team total. Good
stuff from Mark there, and Glenn reminds us all Laker
home games have been over this year. I mean, just

(12:36):
look at a lot of offense, not a whole lot
of defense out there. You add Lebron defense gets worse.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
So probably shouldn't let that numbers scare me. Honestly, Probably
shouldn't let it scare me to forty and a half.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Yeah, I think it's still still worth it. All right,
We're gonna go to bets and actually let me put
some of this stuff up on the screen first before
I get that. We do have Weekend Warrior. I think
that's that's pretty much staying Saturday, Sunday and Monday Night football.

(13:16):
You can get all releases, including five percents, for only
forty nine dollars from whoever you decide to get it from.
You know, we're talking about basketball here. Full Court All
Access pass. You can get three days of both college
basketball and NBA for only forty nine bucks. If you
want to lock in for a little bit longer or
a lot longer, actually, you can get five hundred bucks

(13:36):
off of one year past comes out to just one
twenty five a month. If you were to, for example,
purchase Rob Vino for a year, you'll get a twenty
five percent bonus coupon. You can come check out some
of my stuff as well. So yeah, that's what we
have for the promo stuff for today. I think that
is good. So Vino, I'll ask you if there's anything

(13:58):
I miss, if there's anything else you would like to promote,
feel free, and if you have a best bet for
the show, we'd love to hear it. If you don't,
it's all good.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
The only thing I'll continue to promote here, Ski is
it's so crazy that college football bowl season actually starts
Saturday when the regular season hasn't even ended yet. I mean,
Navy an Army play Saturday, but yet there's a bowl
game on Saturday, the first of the season.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Wayger Talk has a special on full bowl packages.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
I mean it's in excess of I don't know, forty five,
forty seven games something like that when you include the
playoffs and everything. So you want to jump in if
you like college football, jump in now.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Special price package for all of college football season real
quick for those who like college basketball. Part of a
broadcast each and every morning from ten am to eleven
am on Way You Talk TV with that trigger at
Brian Power, where we go through the college hoop card
each and every day.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Ski.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
I probably should have asked for copyright permission, but I used.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I use that Ski phrase on the year today.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
If I can't trust you to get me stops, I
can't trust you to lay double digits. It was a
college game, but yeah, it comes into play in almost
every sport here. I just can't you know, I'm rambling on,
but I can't leave the best bet because I didn't
play one, yet.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I'm going to do.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Kind of a lot like what you do these afternoons
is dig a little bit deeper here, I will say this,
in all likelihood.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
I'm going to find my way to OKAC over one
nineteen and a half team total, and I probably will
talk myself into that San Antonio Laker game over So
in typical fashion, I'll be on some form of overs.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
But I'm just not there yet.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
So I can't leave the best bet because if I
don't play at all, then I've done you guys wrong.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
So that those are my thoughts. We'll see how the
afternoon goes.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Fair enough, I do want to remind you guys at
fifty seven and thirty two on both college basketball and
NBA the last three weeks. So I think the full
court all access pass is the way to go because,
like Robino says, like I've made two plays right now,
one in college basketball, want in an NBA. But I'm
going to be adding throughout the day. I continue to

(16:12):
do shows and talk about these games and injuries come
out and all this stuff. I keep adding, you know,
throughout the day. So that's the best way to get everything.
And on that note, I'm not going to leave a
best bet today because one or you know what I'm
gonna say. I'll give you a hint and you should
already know what it is. If you don't know, hey,

(16:34):
you might have to pull out twenty five bucks. But
if you know, you know, there's somewhere to go on
the college card today. We usually go there all the time,
and that team on the other side looks like they're
gonna have a tough time tonight. The team total to
tell you all you need to know. So if you know,

(16:55):
you know there's a nice college basketball bet out there.
Other than that I have a top play in both
the NBA and college basketball. I think you guys should
should hop on board. So we'll be back again tomorrow.
We'll have more games to talk about, can share maybe
a couple more best bets tomorrow, and we'll also have
Thursday Night football. So Vino, I always appreciate you taking

(17:16):
the time to cap these games with me and chat.
We appreciate you all as well. Best of luck on
all your action tonight, and we will catch you all
again tomorrow.
