Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's a busy day in the NHL, and we're here
on puck Time to have you guys covered with picks, sides, totals, props,
you name it, we've got it all. Andrew McGinnis, Carmon Bianco,
and Lawrence the Press President with you to break down
a handful of games and get me set for a
very busy day in the National Hockey League.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Let's bring in my co host Carmon and Bianco. What's off,
carm how.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Are you doing good? Andrew? Happy Thanksgiving? Since you are
north of the border, today's show, guys, there's a ton
of early games on the schedule today of Buffalo, Colorado, Nashville, Ottawa, Tampa, Boston, Winnipeg,
and the New York Islanders and the Detroit and Toronto.

(00:45):
The Detroit in Toronto game was originally four o'clock, moved
to two o'clock to accommodate the Toronto Blue Jays who
lost last night. But Game two the ALCSCS today at four,
so we're gonna have the pre on. He's going to
do the Florida the Florida Tampa game, sorry, the Florida
Philadelphia game. But Andrew, before we get to that one

(01:07):
we got to talk about the leafs. It would have
been easy to get the price to talk about the leafs,
but we won't. This is a rematch of the weekend
contest between these two. Detroit took it to the Leafs
in Detown and kind of embarrass the Leafs. So you
have to believe in that one. And now you're getting

(01:29):
the Leafs at minus one fifty eight. I'm seeing on
our live lines. Whether you're on Odds Logic, which has
every single book you can ask for it, you can
set up any way you want, or the way you
talk free lines as well too. Leaves minus one fifty
eight Detroit plus one thirty six is the total shaded

(01:49):
twelve cents to the over Andrew. I'm gonna keep this
one simple and they'm gonna go to you for your
thoughts on this one. Anytime teams play back to back,
I always want to take the loser of game one
in game two. It's not fool proof, it doesn't mean
it's going to happen. But the Leaves were embarrassed on
the weekend against this Detroit team. I have to believe

(02:11):
after Saturday's game they bounce back at home on home
Ice where they are a much better team. I don't
mind laying the one fifty eight in here. It stays
under the number that I want to lay. If you
guys feel uncomfortable lay in that, I would say regulation
would be another way to go as well too.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
What are your thoughts, Yeah, I think carm First of all,
I said to you and Pres backstage, it's already earlier
in the season, and I'm already upset about the game
I didn't get I'm already disappointed about not betting on
the Red Wings on Saturday night because all the coaches

(02:46):
quotes we saw after how pissed they were with the
loss against Montreal open the season up. And I was
listening to thirty two Thoughts with Elliott Friedman and Kyle
There from Sportsnet, and they were talking kin about how
poor teams have done actually in their home openers this year.
So it was a big bounce back over the weekend
with them, you know, taking on the Maple Leafs in

(03:08):
the next game. But to your point, we don't like
to do this, you know, automatic by any means, but
this is a Maple LEAFUS team that you want to
have to bounce back, and the Red Wings sure they
looked good, but we saw it against the Montreal Canadians team.
This team can be exposed defensively. You know, when I
look at the bottom teams of the Atlantic Division and

(03:28):
I'm circling Detroit and I'm circling Buffalo, both those teams
car I honestly don't have a ton of worry about
long term offensively, despite the slow start on offense for Buffalo,
I just more so worry about their defensive core. Like
if we look at the defensive corps the Red Wings
have thrown out there the past few years, it's just

(03:49):
not anything to be proud of. And I do have
the image, but I'll save the time. Ben Sharad, Morridge, Sider,
Edvonson Sandin, Palika Johansson and Berne Docker Karen Besides one
of those names, maybe two, how many of those names
are household names? Not many of those names are household
defensive names, right, So they're not.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Like this, I get it where you're coming from on that.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
Yeah, and the forward core with Lucas Raymond and Dylan
Larkin and Tobrinkad and Patrick Kane, they're exciting there. So
I like the over three and a half team total
fan Duel has the best price there at I think
plus one hundred plus one oh five. DraftKings has minus
one oh five. When the when the Leafs bounce back today,
I think they get at least four goals. So I'll

(04:38):
keep it simple. You know, I love the team totals
in this position. I like it as well. Will be
interesting though to see the defensive effort from the from
the almost of the Blue Jays from the Leafs in
this one. But I think overall, when they bounce back,
they bounce back with offense. Also, Easton Cowen making his
debut as a Maple Leaf today.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
See what he can do.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Maybe look ward some props for him, because not many
players carm get a chance to hop in right away
to a league and play on the top six, let
alone the top power play and maybe even the top line.
That's the case for Easton Cowen. He sat out the
first two games of the year. Now he's playing for them.
So Carl, we're both looking towards this leaf side, and
we will tip our cap to the Red Wings for

(05:20):
how they started their season, but we're not really going
to say they're going to keep on rolling.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
So both leaves for us.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
So when you talk, we want to talk about sports fans.
And we're going to bring him in because he is
on the he's been placed on the lt I R
list himself, the long Term Injury report list. We're going
to bring in the press. He is not only going
to the Leafs game at two o'clock, but then the
minute that is over, he is exiting the stadium, running

(05:47):
over to the Rogers Center and watching the Toronto Blue
Jays game two. That is what a sports fan is.
And and.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Then I'm hopping on a flight to Atlanta where I
will watch the Bills second half.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
So pres, let me ask you this. Have to ask
first of all, how you're feeling, and then second of
all you can segue right into it. This is the
second meeting now between Florida and Philadelphia. Florida has gone
from an opening line of one twenty seven to one
point fifty right now. That game in Florida finished two

(06:26):
to one for the for Florida, who are unbeaten at
this point. And the analytics and I know sometimes you're
not a big fan of the XG stuff, but it
was pretty close three point two three to two point
two five the overall XG which basically signals a one
goal win by the Panthers three to two this one

(06:46):
and did two to one thoughts on this game? And
is this the spot where Florida loses their first game
of the season.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yeah, I will listen. From a side perspective, I would
take Philadelphia in this game plus one twenty five plus
one thirty. I think they're the right side here, but
I would prefer you guys to take the under. There's
five and a half plus one hundred. There's sixes at
a few shops, and to me, this is a straight

(07:16):
ord handicap. I'm looking to bet both of these teams
to the under all year, and they're playing against each other,
so why not stick to the plan. And yes there
are sixes. It's basically split between six minus one twenty
and five and a half plus money. So take the
under six I much for that bet. And you have

(07:38):
a scenario here where teams are Teams are not going
to score on Florida, and without Barkoff and Kachuk, we
would think that they would be more prone to letting
pucks in their net. That I don't think is necessarily true. Firstly,
both Kachuk and Barkoff score Barkoff is a playmaker, Kachuk

(08:00):
is a goal scorer. Both of them are out, so
that is going to lower Florida's goal count. Then you
take into account that both of them are staunched defensive players,
so one might think, okay, we're losing. You know, bark
Off one of the best offensive forwards in all of hockey.
The system in Florida is specifically designed to keep pucks

(08:25):
out of the net, and that's what they're gonna do. Already,
three games, two to one and two five goals in
three games they've allowed. Nothing is going to change. This
Florida team is going to go out there with one
goal in mind, keep pucks out of their net and
hope they get a couple of goals along the way.
I think we see another two one, three to two game.

(08:47):
I would rather you take six to protect yourself from
that empty netter. But this is a stone cold under
for me.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Carmen Andrew Present, All right, I want to ask you.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
People have been saying that overall I love it, and
you talked about the under the last time these teams play. Yes,
do you think if this Flyers team keeps losing though,
will and they're on another coach again, I feel like
they have a new coach every two or three years.
Will they have to change their style and open things up?
Or is this how they're going to be committed to
trying to win games?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Do you think?

Speaker 5 (09:21):
Well, firstly, they have lost one game, so let's not
get carried away here. Okay, we're okay. They got a
point in the second game, card or went to overtime,
and they actually made a nice comeback. They played great.
So number one, they've lost one game. Number two, we

(09:45):
know what happens when bad teams go bad, even worse
they focus on defense. You can't teach scoring.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Who want?

Speaker 5 (09:56):
Philadelpia is a goal scorer. Name three, Name three goal
scorers on that team.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
So Vigres Negress is a goal scorer.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
I mean sure in thes Yes, when he was sixteen and.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
He played on the goals. Yeah, okay, Segres is.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
The most overrated player in hockey.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Bro, I agree with that. I agree.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
I will say this. I will say this. It's going
to take a while. Like no one can expect even
though they had the preseason uh training camp whatever, no
one can expect talkt to come in and this team
to be ready to fire on all cylinders from the
get go. So they're they're going to stuff for a bit.
And I don't want to use as an aside. I

(10:44):
want to talk very quickly, very quickly about the Buffalo Sabers.
It's the same thing. Alex Line is in goal. Because
their number one goalie is injured. Doesn't mean that when
he comes back that Sabers are going to start winning games. No,
I don't think so. They'll win their share of games.
But the problem is Alex Line isn't a number one
goalie and he's uh and he's thrust into it having
to play in the number one spot. Tako will eventually

(11:07):
unlock this team. He'll get them going, but it's gonna
take a while. So there's gonna be some games in
which you're you're like, wow, these guys absolutely suck, Like
where's the scoring gonna come from? It's gonna take a while.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
Yeah, And listen, I got to run in a few
minutes because I'm taping the Best Betting the Best. I
fucking I forgot the name of my own show, the
Best Betting Show.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Ever, how can your bottom line?

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Karm?

Speaker 5 (11:33):
I do want to just point out that everybody who's
all high on Rick talking as a coach. Why, absolutely nothing.
How's he gonna unlock talent? It doesn't exist. He's not
that great. Yeah, So anyway, uh, I take the under
in that game, don't think this, and bet the under

(11:54):
in all Florida games. Moving forward blindly, and I promise
you you're going to make my I do want to
promote really quick because I have a very rare play
for me today in NHL. I have an NHL money
line bet. Now. I know people are like, well, the
how is that rare? I almost never have these bloody plays.

(12:17):
Last year I was twenty one and thirteen. The year
before thirty eight and twenty one, I'm fifty nine and
thirty four. That's sixty three percent in two years of
these NHL money line plays. I'm only going to have
maybe forty of them a year. And I have my
first one tonight and it's over at wager Talk. I
got three NHL plays up for you guys, So please

(12:41):
check that out, gents. Thanks for having me. Man, I
got a hell of a day. I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
Leave some win, Blue Jays, enjoy.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
And heal quickly. I know it's going to take a while, man,
but hopefully that arm recovers.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Thanks brother, lots of love everyone.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
All right, before we get to the next game, because
you know, I'm dealing with difficulties today, so we gotta
probably go fast.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I don't want to screw it over.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
I know Andrew's having some some computer issues, so in
case he disappears, it could be just myself talking here.
But we're gonna go quickly. But before we go to
the next game, just a quick mention. Brian Leonard, one
of our regular guests on Thursdays, and he's going to
appear twice this week, has a five percent play in
the NHL going today. Show him some love. Head over

(13:31):
to his page at wager Talk, WT Dot, buzz backslash
bl and you will find his five percent NHL play
on the board. All right, Andrew, let's look at this
next one. Let's keep motoring along. We are going to
talk the Vancouver and Saint Louis game, and guys, in

(13:52):
this game, I'm gonna Andrew go first. I am going
to mix in the first bank role play of the
year for you guys, So stand by Andrew, give us
your thoughts on this one. Curtain line minus won twenty
six on Vancouver plus one to four is the take
back on the Saint Louis Blues, Vancouver's favored. The total

(14:13):
sits at five and a half over fifteen cents carm.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
This is the spot here.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
We've seen one good performance from the Canucks and one
poor performance from the Canucks so far. And what does
that come from. Well, from where I'm sitting, it comes
from the lack of depth. And when I look at
this Saint Louis Blues team, I actually respect their offense
and I respect that they have a little more depth
on their roster. They got smoked, and I mean smoked,

(14:41):
in their first opening game of the season. I talked
about it earlier in the show briefly about how the
home openers haven't been going well for teams. Well, they
get smoked in their home opener. They go on the
road and they do a much better job in Calgary,
putting up a four spot, winning that game four two.
But Karen, as far as this Canucks team goes, so,
I mean five to one and then three to one,

(15:02):
this is a team that needs.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
To get off to a fast start.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Last year, they were a good first period over bet team.
Most importantly, they were a good first period over team
when they were coming.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Off a really subpar performance.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
Now, I know Saint Louis has good goaltending, I know
they played the under quite a bit, but this is
one of those spots where they're not coming off a shutout,
but they're coming off a game where they didn't look
very good. So I'm going to take over one and
a half first period minus one twenty one of my
favorite first period plays of the day here is. You know,
I love those first period overs. I didn't going to

(15:36):
see a hungry Canucks team, but more importantly, a Blues
team that looked really, really good in their last game,
and as well came. I had the over in the
first period the last Blues game. Unfortunately they didn't get
there with it. But although they didn't get there with it,
they created a ton of chances against the Flames in
that first period. They probably should have had more goals.

(15:56):
So I do like this Blues team quite a bit.
Your thoughts here on this Blues team. I mean, they
start off getting shut out, but since then, you know
that great game and then moving forward, I do feel
pretty good about them. And as you mentioned, you've got
a bankroll build or play it and first of all,
look at you bring in the graphic, carm I like that.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
We've got a graphic for you.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
We got the bankroll set, and you're gonna show us
how it's done with this bankroll and not every day. Right,
You're gonna pick your spots or when you have them
and really build this bankroll.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Yeah, that's the idea is to hopefully make you guys
some money along the way. You know, it's the road traveled.
It comes with its bumps, its ebbs and flows. The
idea is to show a profit at the end of
the season, and you know, I'll explain what we're wagering
and why we're wagering on it, and the amount of

(16:47):
the bank roll that's going on it. There will never
be an all in situation, ever be an all in situation,
because it's irresponsible to tell people who are watching for
the first time or for the first year of puck
time that you put your whole bank roll on a
game that's absolutely insane. So it'll be small percentage plays.

(17:08):
But with that said, you know, I like this Blues team.
I don't hold a high hope for this Vancouver team
on the season. I think the one thing that they
have going for them is their goalie thatcher Denko, and
even he couldn't say them against the Vonton Oilers. Listen
the Edvonton Olders b Vancouver three to one. If it

(17:29):
wasn't for the ineptitude andrew of Thomas ek on the
line with McDavid, they could have had five or six goals.
Zach Hyman in that spot would have been scoring goals.
Three to one is not a reflection of how that

(17:51):
game went with Vancouver, and then Saint Louis losing that
opener against Minnesota. They that was like a string of
I think fifteen eight games that snapped, the string going
back to last season and including the playoffs of fifteen
or sixteen straight games that the Blues had won on
home ice that got snapped. They bounced back right away

(18:12):
against the Calgary Flames, and going into Calgary sometimes can
be a tough spot for teams. Even if you don't
expect the loft in the Flames, they will play well
on home ice in front of their fans. I like
the Saint Louis team. We're getting plus money with them,
and thus I am going with the Saint Louis Blues
because we're getting plus money, so the opening play and

(18:33):
it'll be for two hundred to win twoh four. So
the Saint Louis Blues plus one o two. That's the
line that I got it at. It's at plus one
o four plus one oh eight at some places, but
I'm playing all at one book and these are actual
plays that go in. So plus one oh two on

(18:53):
the Saint Louis Blues is your play. First bankroll builder
of the year. Well, we'll keep a starting bankroll and
a current bankroll balance for you all season long, guys,
so you can see either cheer on or if you're
upset with me, you can fade it. Whatever you're going
to do. I love you, guys, regardless.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
There's gonna be up, it's gonna be down.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
That's the whole point, to show what it's like to
build a bankroll and to operate that way. So I
like your starting things off with a nice plus money
play here, plus one oh two on the Blues, and
I think they're the better team at least right now.
We'll see how this game goes. Should be a good one, though.
Karm plus one oh two bankroll Play of the day,
current bankroll plus five thousand. We're gonna see how that

(19:38):
turns into tomorrow and the next day when you keep
growing this up here, Karm, all right, one more game
Minnesota and LA. Everybody said it going into the year,
Karm about this LA defense, that the defensive cor just
doesn't look very good, and man, it hasn't looked good
so far this season. And then of course they play

(19:58):
a game early early Saturday, and well what happens. They
only score a couple on offense. And when you don't
only score a couple on offense, it's not going to
go very well for this LA team. How do you
feel about their matchup today against another very good defensive team.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
You know, one of the things I always talk about
is just to kind of keep an eye on the
lines because some of the sharp books if you're on,
if you're on, if you have odds Logic, and I
believe you can still get seven days for free on
odds Logic to try it out, especially during NFL season,
college football season, and then basketball starting soon, it is

(20:36):
always good to have it. But there are a couple
of books that I highlight. Andrew the War is one
of them, and Circa is another. And I like to
see what their numbers are in correlation with what other
books are hanging. And you look at it and they
have a great price right now on Minnesota. If you
like Minnesota. It is almost like they are asking you.

(20:58):
The consensus is minus one twenty on this one, minus
one sixteen on Minnesota at circa. That is a that
that's a sign for me to take La the La
Kings here, Andrew. So this is where I'm looking at
right now. I'm gonna take the La Kings in this
one to bounce back at plus money another plus money play, Andrew,

(21:21):
give me the Kings because I believe that the Sharp
books want you to take Minnesota. So I'm all right,
I'm gonna zag. So here we go.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Contrarian play today, real quick, harme, promote what you have
up at wager Talk today. It's a busy, busy day
in the NHL. We've got NFL games, not just one,
but two and well for me and our buddy Rob Brailey,
and we got a.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
CFL game today. But what do you have going for clients?

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Yeah, guys, I'll make this quick because I know Andrew
he's running out of juice there as far as his
computer for the show, We will be back tomorrow with
a full show. But thanks to everyone who picked up
my five percent play yes day. In the NFL. Seattle
Seahawks get it done with ease as I said they would,
and I'm gonna have some afternoon World Cup qualifying plays.

(22:13):
They'll be up right after the show, and then a
best bet on the NHL card for tonight. We had
a nice best bet winner with the Anaheim Ducks on
Saturday night. It took him a while, but they got
it done. So that's it for me. Guys. Thanks for
tuning in and Andrew, let us know what you have
and we will see you later.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
All right, carm Yeah, apologies for today here, guys. I
want to bring this up here. Jersey Tugging Sports says
Andrew lost the Sabers bet and Tampa Lightning over three
and a half.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Well.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
I did a video Friday night, guys, getting out a
pick on every single game of Saturday.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
I was gonna lose a few of them. Probably it's
gonna happen. We're off to a good start, though.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
We hit the Capitals yesterday the lone game in the NHL.
We're up around twelve thirteen units on the regular season
looking to keep it going with a huge day today.
There's pretty much game from one pm to eleven pm
all day long in the NHL, so it's a great
day for a day pass. NHL, NFL and CFL go
to my page grab a day pass.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Let's get the job done.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
Myself and Carmine, we're gonna be in action here today, guys.
We appreciate you all being with us. Make sure you
guys hit that like button on the way out. Hopefully
we can cash some tickets and hopefully we have a
lot of success. I think it's going to be a
really really good day. We'll see you guys tomorrow, same time,
same place, right here on puck time.
