our pocket. We're giving you bets on all four games,
plus the anticipated return of the six and sixty for

yesterday with all those goals that were scored. But car Man,

of the six and sixty segment. How are we doing today, Carmen.

We're doing great, brother, and yes, you are absolutely correct.
Grand Salami. Yesterday was seventy three, and there was a
lot of leftovers because ninety goals scored in the NHL
last night. Ninety goals. And that's even with some good
games still staying under the total, which is unbelievable. Some
six to five games, some seven to sixty. It was

just unbelievable in the NHL last night, one and one
night for me. The best bet won for me the
Tampa Bay Sorry, the over in the Rangers game, the
Rangers who don't score goals, but I knew that game
was going over the total and it easily did for them.
And then I think for the biggest long shots on
the car yesterday all won. It was dog day for someone.

the first one's in Buffalo and tomorrow night it is
here in Toronto. And listen, if you're a Sabers fan
or you're a Leafs fan, you know that the games
in Buffalo are always home games for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The fan base comes out there because it's cheaper to
watch a game. People from the Nagara region from Hambleton

that it is basically a sixty sixty minute drive to
get across the border and to the game, and tickets
are like probably thirty percent of the price that they
are in Toronto. So it's you see so many Blue
Jersey but I don't see that happening tonight because there's
this thing going on here in Toronto tonight called the

World Series, Game one of the World Series, with the
La Dodgers in town, and I got to believe that
people that would normally go to Buffalo to watch this
game are not there. They're going to be at home
or watch parties throughout Ontario, throughout Canada for that. But
in this game, I'm looking at the under Dan. I'm
going to take under six in this one. And it's

basically because and I'll talk about in the sixties and
sixty as well too. We're gonna get the starters tonight.
Stole Arts for the Leafs, Alex Lyon for the Sabers,
and the Sabers a team that in the past has
been a great over team. Through seven games, won over
four unders, two pushes. For the Buffalo Sabers, they struggled
the score goals with the exception of scoring eight against Ottawa.

That's the only game that's gone over the total for
the Buffalo Sabers thus far this season. I'm going to
take the under with the number one goalies in goal
tonight for the Sabers. So and Pecca lucan In is
back for the Sabers as well too, so we could
see Pecca lucinan tonight. Nothing's confirmed at showtime, but it's

it'll either be Alex Lion or Pecca lucan In one
of the two games tonight.

Karen, I'm glad you mentioned that this was a back
to back because when I was prepping up for your
six and sixty segment, I was like, did carn drink
too much Lemonicello last night? Because I know that Toronto
and Buffalo is in there and I was like, they're
playing each other back to back, So yeah, a little
bit of a strange scheduling spot, but it'll be interesting
to see how that plays out in game two. Karen

has some thoughts on game two of that game as well,
coming up here in the six and sixty segment. But Karen,
let's keep rolling right along here and take a look
at the Caps taken on the Blue jacket. Is this
one a little bit tighter of a line, but same
story that we're talking about there, Karen, Is you got
a little road chalk in this one and the customary

six like we see in all four of the games
this evening? What do we think about the Caps and
the Blue Jackets?

Calm, Yeah, it's another one and where I'm we're gonna
be looking at the total in this one, and I
get it, you know, I think one of these square
ways of looking at things a lot of the times
where people see what happened last night and see just
a ton of goals and just want to auto bet
overs in games. And while I understand it, I don't

think it's the right approach. You look at this Washington
and Columbus game and the under it screams under to
me the unders at six. There was a six six
and a halves early, but it's gone to six now.
Columbus a team that was very good last season, very
exciting team last season to watch, especially at home, where
they were one of the top three teams as far

as over unders go. They are one in five this
season to the to the over, so five games have
stayed under the total, and at home all three games
for Columbus of stayed under the total. They're playing some
pretty good hockey as well too right now, so they're
gonna give Washington a game tonight. I like the under here.
I'm gonna take under six, and I'm just gonna try

and wipe what happened last night in the NHL and
all those goals. I think it's an anomaly as far
as so many high scoring games. And I'm gonna look
to another under here if you don't like Betty Nunbers,
because nobody wants to watch a game and say, hey,
I hope nothing happens. But that is what books rely on.
They rely on you wanting to see goals, wanting to

see the favorites win, and that's how they make their money,
that's how they build those shiny hotels then in Vegas
on the backs of people that just bet bad numbers
or square numbers.

Yeah, well yeah, I've never seen a bull burnt out

damn sure. But Karl's saying under that for Washington and Columbus.

the San Jose Sharks. You're gonna have a little pretty
penny headed into the weekend. We're looking at two ninety
five's out there as they're taking on the devils, and
again a customary six. Do we have a barking dog here, Karm?
Or are we finding a way to make some value
on the devils? What say you?

First, I'm gonna say I've already cashed my first bed
of the day because I thought it would say, less
than ten minutes, less than ten minutes for lost Kid
to come into our chat and mention the Pittsburgh Penguins
Hot Street because I keep saying I'm gonna fade the Pens,
fade the Pens, and they are they are playing. Penguins
are playing some uh some some pretty good hockey. At
(09:37):
the moment, they instead of mid thirties thirty five year olds,
they look like a bunch of twenty two year olds
out there skating up and down the ice. So good
on the Penguins, but I'll mention the season and they
finally long seasason exactly exactly. You know, guys, just like
just because the games on the schedule doesn't mean you

have to bet it this those ones that you don't
want to bet. You can't lay this price with New Jersey.
You can't lay this price with any favorite. We've seen
some minus three hundred plus three hundred teams lose in
the past, and we saw four big underdogs win yesterday,
with San Jose being one of them as well being

one of the underdogs winning. You look at this one
and there's conflicting numbers even when you look at like
the first period totals. The first thing I looked at
was when don't I look at something that's been profitable
this season, which is the New Jersey team total seven games.
They've gone over their team total in five of seven games,

but their team totals three and a half tonight minus
one seventy five. I would never lay a dollar a
dollar on a minus one seventy five team total. Neither
should you. You will lose long term betting higig like
that if you're doing it normally you look at first
period totals New Jersey six and one to the under
(11:05):
in the first period three and oh to the under
at home. So that's when you could look at first
period under one and a half, and I think that's
where I would lean here with this one. Look for
you have a Sharks team coming in, they'll probably pay
play a little defensive in this game, and New Jersey's
been shutting deep teams down. So first period under for me,

it's dan, it's an under under the first three games
of the day.

For me Gez after all those goals, you're just saying, yeah,
forget it. Because Thomas Garcia, again, thanks for being a
way to talk insider any systems on what the totals
look like a night after the one that we had

Betting trends thus far this season that if they continue,
can make you money, So you might want to jot
these ones down. The New York Islanders are five and
oh to the first period over. The Vegas Golden Knights

are four and o to the first period over.

The Montreal Canadians the first period money line are five
and four nine games. They have never trailed after twenty minutes,
so you're making money there. The Winnipeg Jets first period
money line four one and two, so they've only trailed
once after twenty minutes in seven games. The Vegas in
Carolina team totals they are six and one this season

to their team total. Pittsburgh Penguins most Kids team six
and two to the team total this season. Those are
numbers that are making you money if you continue the trend.
And I say you ride these streaks until they lose twice.
Don't jump off of them when they lose once. Yep,
because it happens the next game you're like, oh man,

I should have played it again, play it twice, and
if you lose twice, you just offer that one and
wait for a new streak to emerge with another team.
Which I'll always mention here on puck time.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Well, and sometimes streaks end up just being like good
stuff to talk about with your buddies at the bar.
But when you're talking about these first period streaks, especially
early in the year, I think that's a little situation
of where there's smoke, there's fire, you know what I mean,
Like it kind of makes sense teams who can start fast,
that's clearly a focus for those teams. It doesn't just
happen because it happens, you know what I mean. It

happens once it happens twice, Okay, the matchup was favorable.
When it starts stacking up like that at the beginning
of the year, this starts to become identities of those
teams until it's not so love those numbers, karm. One
thing I didn't want to mention from our man, Ralph
Michaels the pen. We were talking about how the dogs
were cashing last night. Well, one of those dogs that
cashed in was that San Jose play they won. Is

two hundred and thirty five plus two thirty five Dogs.
The next game after Dogs win a big dog win,
how about Ralph Michaels has the following game nineteen and
twelve sixty one percent with an average line of plus
one seventy four. So if your stomach can take it
plus two ninety five on the San Jose Sharks to

get back to back wins, it might be a little
sprinkle worth going. At least history says so so interesting trend. Therefore,
you karm, let's talk this final game here before we
get to the six and sixty segment, and let's take
a look at Calgary taking on the Winnipeg Jets. Another
tight line. This one should be competitive for the Canadian squads.

Flames around plus one point fifteen and you're getting the
Winnipeg Jets the home favorite minus one thirty and shaker
six six is the total. But we're starting to see
some five and a half pop here in this one
on the odds logic screens so what are we thinking
on this one card.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, this isn't a very good Calgary team. They've only
won one game thus far this season. But we have
a Jets team coming off of a home loss yesterday
and a home shutout loss at Taboots against the Seattle
Kraken at the tail end of their road trip. I
think a six game road trip for the Kracken or
a five game road trip. Winnipeg loses that one right
(15:52):
back at it tonight back at home against in an
all Canadian battle. And I mentioned in those streaks, and
that's why I wanted to mention those streaks before this game.
The Winnipeg Jets off a shutout, you would have to
believe that they are going to come out hungry, especially
in the first period and the first period right now
you can gramma about minus one rof a loss as

I mentioned to the Seattle Kraken, and they are four
to one in two with their first period. So this
is a team that has only trailed once after after
twenty minutes four wins. A couple pushes mixed in there
as well too. I want the Jets in this one,
even though it's Eric Comery he should be starting tonight
for them. He's got one win in his only start

the season of five to win over the New York Islanders,
and he looked pretty good in that game. So he's
going to see a lot of the second of the
back to backs in that one and the Jets opening
twenty minutes. That's the play.

XG numbers, lack of scoring, and then what do they
do last night? They score a ton of goals, but

and the Rangers are gonna be a good over team

at home once they finally start finding some goals. But
the New York Islanders, another New York team, just absolutely
fantastic with the overs. So on the card in which
I took a bunch of unders, we are I am
talking about overs, so we shall see. But kay, League Show,

the series is already over. So I'm tempted to just

World Series something like that have gone to game seven.

and I think that these are two teams that people,

and the Sabers a team that in the past has
been a great over team. Through seven games, won over
four unders, two pushes. For the Buffalo Sabers, they struggled
the score goals with the exception of scoring eight against Ottawa.

That's the only game that's gone over the total for
the Buffalo Sabers thus far this season. I'm going to
take the under with the number one goalies in goal
tonight for the Sabers. So and Pecca lucan In is
back for the Sabers as well too, so we could

at the Caps taken on the Blue jacket. Is this
one a little bit tighter of a line, but same

the Blue Jackets?

Calm, Yeah, it's another one and where I'm we're gonna
be looking at the total in this one, and I
get it, you know, I think one of these square
ways of looking at things a lot of the times
where people see what happened last night and see just
a ton of goals and just want to auto bet
overs in games. And while I understand it, I don't

think it's the right approach. You look at this Washington
and Columbus game and the under it screams under to
me the unders at six. There was a six six
and a halves early, but it's gone to six now.
Columbus a team that was very good last season, very
exciting team last season to watch, especially at home, where
they were one of the top three teams as far

as over unders go. They are one in five this
season to the to the over, so five games have
stayed under the total, and at home all three games
for Columbus of stayed under the total. They're playing some
pretty good hockey as well too right now, so they're
gonna give Washington a game tonight. I like the under here.
I'm gonna take under six, and I'm just gonna try

and wipe what happened last night in the NHL and
all those goals. I think it's an anomaly as far
as so many high scoring games. And I'm gonna look
to another under here if you don't like Betty Nunbers,
because nobody wants to watch a game and say, hey,
I hope nothing happens. But that is what books rely on.
They rely on you wanting to see goals, wanting to

see the favorites win, and that's how they make their money,
that's how they build those shiny hotels then in Vegas
on the backs of people that just bet bad numbers

First, I'm gonna say I've already cashed my first bed
of the day because I thought it would say, less
than ten minutes, less than ten minutes for lost Kid
to come into our chat and mention the Pittsburgh Penguins
Hot Street because I keep saying I'm gonna fade the Pens,
fade the Pens, and they are they are playing. Penguins
are playing some uh some some pretty good hockey. At

the moment, they instead of mid thirties thirty five year olds,
they look like a bunch of twenty two year olds
out there skating up and down the ice. So good
on the Penguins, but I'll mention the season and they
finally long seasason exactly exactly. You know, guys, just like
just because the games on the schedule doesn't mean you

have to bet it this those ones that you don't
want to bet. You can't lay this price with New Jersey.
You can't lay this price with any favorite. We've seen
some minus three hundred plus three hundred teams lose in
the past, and we saw four big underdogs win yesterday,
with San Jose being one of them as well being

one of the underdogs winning. You look at this one
and there's conflicting numbers even when you look at like
the first period totals. The first thing I looked at
was when don't I look at something that's been profitable
this season, which is the New Jersey team total seven games.
They've gone over their team total in five of seven games,

but their team totals three and a half tonight minus
one seventy five. I would never lay a dollar a
dollar on a minus one seventy five team total. Neither
should you. You will lose long term betting higig like
that if you're doing it normally you look at first
period totals New Jersey six and one to the under

in the first period three and oh to the under
at home. So that's when you could look at first
period under one and a half, and I think that's
where I would lean here with this one. Look for
you have a Sharks team coming in, they'll probably pay
play a little defensive in this game, and New Jersey's
been shutting deep teams down. So first period under for me,

it's dan, it's an under under the first three games
of the day.

For me Gez after all those goals, you're just saying, yeah,
forget it. Because Thomas Garcia, again, thanks for being a
way to talk insider any systems on what the totals

can make you money, So you might want to jot
these ones down. The New York Islanders are five and
oh to the first period over. The Vegas Golden Knights

The Montreal Canadians the first period money line are five
and four nine games. They have never trailed after twenty minutes,
so you're making money there. The Winnipeg Jets first period
money line four one and two, so they've only trailed
once after twenty minutes in seven games. The Vegas in
Carolina team totals they are six and one this season

to their team total. Pittsburgh Penguins most Kids team six
and two to the team total this season. Those are
numbers that are making you money if you continue the trend.
And I say you ride these streaks until they lose twice.
Don't jump off of them when they lose once. Yep,
because it happens the next game you're like, oh man,

I should have played it again, play it twice, and
if you lose twice, you just offer that one and
wait for a new streak to emerge with another team.
Which I'll always mention here on puck time.

Well, and sometimes streaks end up just being like good
stuff to talk about with your buddies at the bar.
But when you're talking about these first period streaks, especially
early in the year, I think that's a little situation
of where there's smoke, there's fire, you know what I mean,
Like it kind of makes sense teams who can start fast,
that's clearly a focus for those teams. It doesn't just
happen because it happens, you know what I mean. It

happens once it happens twice, Okay, the matchup was favorable.
When it starts stacking up like that at the beginning
of the year, this starts to become identities of those
teams until it's not so love those numbers, karm. One
thing I didn't want to mention from our man, Ralph
Michaels the pen. We were talking about how the dogs
were cashing last night. Well, one of those dogs that
cashed in was that San Jose play they won. Is

The next game after Dogs win a big dog win,

a look at Calgary taking on the Winnipeg Jets. Another
tight line. This one should be competitive for the Canadian squads.

Flames around plus one point fifteen and you're getting the
Winnipeg Jets the home favorite minus one thirty and shaker
six six is the total. But we're starting to see
some five and a half pop here in this one
on the odds logic screens so what are we thinking
on this one card.

Yeah, this isn't a very good Calgary team. They've only
won one game thus far this season. But we have
a Jets team coming off of a home loss yesterday
and a home shutout loss at Taboots against the Seattle
Kraken at the tail end of their road trip. I
think a six game road trip for the Kracken or
a five game road trip. Winnipeg loses that one right

back at it tonight back at home against in an
all Canadian battle. And I mentioned in those streaks, and
that's why I wanted to mention those streaks before this game.
The Winnipeg Jets off a shutout, you would have to
believe that they are going to come out hungry, especially
in the first period and the first period right now
you can gramma about minus one rof a loss as

I mentioned to the Seattle Kraken, and they are four
to one in two with their first period. So this
is a team that has only trailed once after after
twenty minutes four wins. A couple pushes mixed in there
as well too. I want the Jets in this one,
even though it's Eric Comery he should be starting tonight
for them. He's got one win in his only start

the season of five to win over the New York Islanders,
and he looked pretty good in that game. So he's
going to see a lot of the second of the
back to backs in that one and the Jets opening

signs with the Jays, they're gonna be favorites, one of
the favorites to win the World Series. So I click
onto bet rivers. I see the Blue Jays at like
thirty to one. I put like three hundred bucks on him.
I'm like three hundred to win like nine k lo

and behold he signs with the Dodgers, and now three
years later or whatever, the Blue Jays are in the
World Series. The Jay's finished dead last in the division.

The worst bet ever, the worst bet ever.

All right, let's hit some of these questions. Legs shot magazine,

I would probably look at the first period over with
the Vegas Golden Knights, which continues to cash. Florida just
didn't play well last night, and in a game in
which they were expected to win, so four days off
you Normally you can go to NHL dot com and
click on sort of like their next gen Stats to

find the advanced stats on teams on three days rest
or four days rest and get some really good numbers
from previous years. But their website is just a total disaster.
Nows with the redo that they have. But I get
where you're coming from the show. You would think off
that loss, maybe Florida gets the win against the Vegas

Golden Knight. But this is a very good, biggest team,
and I think that these are two teams that people,
some people expect to meet in the Stanley Cup Finals
again this season.

Wow, all right, calling your shot there, Karen. Question here,
that's more, I guess, more of a conceptual question, not
just hockey specific comes from KK flyers. How often you
hedge in live bets? Got Colorado last night at the
end of the first plus five seventy five and I
cashed out before the shootout to scoop a small profit.

I'm I'm of the belief, karm, and I know it's
probably not the sports betting, you know, investor approach. Hedging
is for gardeners. In my opinion, you make a bet,
you believe in it. That's part of the fun. Again,
I get it. This is a recreational mindset. I'm a
recreational better. What do you think. Are you ever hedging
live bets or are you using live bets to maybe

hedge some earlier action. I feel like that would be
the more typical way to do.

Yeah, that is, you know that exactly. I'm using live
bets to hedge, to hedge out because you're obviously watching
the game. You get a feel for the game, and
if you can get the right number to sort of
get out of that initial bet, then you take it
and you move on. The most important thing is, guys
always protect your bank role in that sense, and that's

why I talk about bankroll bill. There's no pod play
today because there's four games, you know there. The plays
that I gave out today are leans. The ones that
I like in tonight's action are up at the site.

think I've ever hedged out a bet any futures bet
that I've put in, and I put out some great

to people take France and Croatia to make the finals.
France with seven to one was forty to one. People

called me absolutely nuts for putting in Croatia there, but
they made the finals, and I explained to people how
to hedge out throughout the knockout stages of the World
Cup if they wanted to get out of their bet
and make some money. I kept it right till the
end and cash France Chelsea twenty to one to win

Champions League, Real Madrid thirty three to one to win
the Champions League after they lost leg one. So these
are future bets I give out to my clients and
I just I tell them in the writeup, I'm never
going to hedge out of this bet, but contact me
if you want to hedge out for a small profit. So,
because my bank role is never in jeopardy, Dan, with

any futures bet, you bet a percentage of it and
you stick to it. It's just a bet that takes
longer to cash.
