Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're live, my friend.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Welcome to Wadge You Talk today, the Golden stated of
sports Betty Shows, where we talk, to talk and walk
the walk.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
We've heard your feedback.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
You guys on Wednesdays want more college sports. That's what
we're delivering. We got lots of college basketball, lots of
college football. Ralph is gonna break down a couple of
college basketball games, Arizona, Yukon, Alabama, Illinois, Ross the Boss
is going to join us in break down at USC Oregon.
Andy's else is gonna do an NBA game, and of
course we gotta do this line makes no sense.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
And then we got a special guests.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Drew Martin is going to come in and break down
some maction and some college basketball, so college heavy. Of course,
we'll have some free plays and some other sports. But
let's bring in Ralph and let's start talking some college basketball. Ralph,
we got a few games under our belt, a little
bit of a sample size here, so let's jump right
in with Arizona and Yukon college basketball action tonight. We
(00:56):
got Yukon minus seven over under one fifty seven and
a half. Happy when what do you think about this game?
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Well, Andy, these are two of the most experienced top
ranked teams each return three starters. That's something we're not
accustomed to seeing with these kind of guys. You know,
both teams off a four and O start. Both teams
have very good wins. Arizona did beat Florida. That game
was in Vegas, and I will say Arizona had a
massive crowd edge.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
And they did play UCLA at the Inuit.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Dome where the Clippers play, and there I would say
the fans were almost fifty to fifty. So this is
the first true road game, which is a concern with Yukon.
Of course, they're off of four and O start, only
one in three ats. They were a huge favorite in
their first three games, and then they played BYU over
in TD Gardens in Boston and came away with a
(01:48):
two point win. So I look at these two teams
and with me, Yukon has the edge. Obviously being at home.
We also know Yukon is just a monster of a
team against ranked opponents.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Listen to this.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
They are twenty eight and six against the spread versus
ranked foes at home in and neutral settings, they are
twenty two and two against the spread. And if they're
playing a top ten team. They are fifteen and one
as a favorite versus top ten teams. But I will
say this, the loss was against BYU, so they have
(02:26):
covered fifteen straight before last week Arizona. If you're gonna
bet Arizona, I might wait and bet them live. What
they've done is they're starting two freshmen and they're bringing
in two experienced players after them.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
And listen to this.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Against Florida they trailed twenty six to sixteen, and they
trailed thirty to ten. Against Utah Tech, they trailed fourteen
to three, and against UCLA they trailed fifteen to five
and twenty eight to four. The way they're starting these
freshmen on this first two road game, If you like Arizona,
(03:05):
I would wait and bet them live. If you like Yukon,
I think you're in the best situation to play them here.
I look at this game and we have two top
fifteen defenses. I think the offenses are going to struggle
against this. I lean Yukon, but this line has gotten
too high. I like the under one fifty five. I
(03:35):
cannot hear you.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
All right, let's try this again. All right, under look
at the under in that game Alabama Illinois. This is
another game that goes off tonight. What's you take on
this Alabama Illinois game tonight?
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Oh? All right?
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Are we back to me?
Speaker 4 (03:56):
And yep?
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, My apologies guys. For some reason, my internet out
and I'm back.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
You can you hear me now? Okay?
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Andy, fire away, Ralph.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
We got Illinois minus three and a half over under
one eighty two, big big total here, Alabama and Illinois.
How do you break this one down? I have a
feeling that the production gods are just against us today, Chris,
So let's just let's go to all around the world, Chris,
(04:28):
Let's do some free plays that we're gonna bring in a.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Ross the Boss. Guys.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Sometimes sometimes the production gods are just against us, and
today is one of them. So let's do some free
plays here, and then we're gonna bring in Ross the Boss, Benjamin.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
We're gonna we're gonna go to the Thunder and the Kings.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
And I got a credit Chris in our Discord channel
for this one. Drew you Banks under six and a
half rebounds. There's no Sabonis tonight, and he's gone under
in three games. Without Sabonis, he's only getting nine point
three rebound chances.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
In those games and they've played.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
He played the Thunder with outs bonus a couple weeks
ago and he only had one rebound. This Thunder team
third and allowing rebounds to center. So shout out to Chris,
this is a really good fight and drew you Banks
under six and a half rebounds go to the NHL
Ducks and the Bruins. Jackson Lacombe over one and a
half shots on goal. His shots have really picked up recently,
over this total in six out of the last seven
(05:22):
last ten games, getting five shot attempts per game.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Love those shot attempts.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
And he's gone over against Boston earlier this season in
a game he had eight shot attempts.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
So give me.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Jackson lacomb over one and a half shots on goal.
And by the way, Boston twenty fifth in shots on
goal allowed.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
And this one comes from.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
The Wager Talk Free Picks page. Kevin Dolan going back
to another EPL play Brentford Brighton. We're going the regulation
over two point seven to five. Over sixty percent of
goals Brentford have given up the season have been on
the road and Brighton have scored eight out of their
eleven goals at home, so the expected goals per shot
are but home for them compared to on the road.
(06:02):
And the last time they played each other at the
Grind it was back in April, but they had six goals.
So let's say a look at the over here in
Brentford and Brighton. All right, guys, apologize for the apologize
for the for the mess up there. Sometimes the internet
out in Vegas is a little bit spotty. Let's bring
in Ross the Boss, Benjamin, someone whose plays are never
(06:23):
spotty because.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Ross the Boss, Benjamin Ross. Happy Wednesday. How are you good?
Speaker 4 (06:31):
My man? Good? I'm always glad to be with you.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Absolutely, we got an NBA game to break down. We
got college football to break down. Let's go to the
NBA first. Let's talk about this Rockets Cavaliers game. Really
fun game tonight. I will hopefully be catching at least
the first half here, hopefully more.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
I mean the line says it all.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
Rockets only minus one and a half, pretty close to
a pick him over under two thirty three and a half.
Two good defensive teams here, What do you make a
Rockets calves?
Speaker 4 (07:01):
Yeah, this is actually open with Cleveland being a favorite.
So it's flipped from the opening line. Look, Houston will
be the fresher team out of the gate in this
matchup in my opinion, and quite simply put, I mean
they're playing on two days rest, it will only be
their fourth game in ten days, and Cleveland's coming in
(07:23):
playing their eighth game in thirteen days. This is the
first meeting of this year. In the last two years,
they met four times and Houston has led at the
half in all four of those contests, and they led
by a convincing margin of ten points per game at
halftime in all four matchups, So something to be said there.
(07:46):
Cleveland has been a much better second half team this
year than a first half team, and especially so at home.
When you factor in that Cleveland is six and two
at home this year, but they're minus three point six
points per game at halftime in those eight home games,
despite them winning six ety eight. And then they come
(08:09):
out and they're plus six point nine points per game
in the second half. So that's where I was going
with the being the better second half team than first
half team, and especially so at home. And Cleveland's also
oh to eight against the spread in the first half
this year when facing teams like the Houston Rockets who
(08:29):
average one hundred and sixteen or more points per game.
So I'm gonna go with Houston here as a first
half point spread wager of minus zero point five or
minus a half a point over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Let's I'm wann to circle back to NBA here in
a second, but I want to get your thoughts on
USC Oregon because I think this could be a potentially
really good, sneaky game to watch here. Well, got Oregon, Yeah,
minus nine and a half minus ten over under fifty
nine and a half to take on USC organ.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Yeah, you know, I broke this down and looked at
it inside and out, and it just comes down to
home and away dichotomies for me. USC zero and nine
straight up and one and eight against the spread since
twenty seventeen is a road underdog of nine and a
half or less, and they get outscored in those nine
games by seventeen point one points per game. Oregon six
(09:26):
and one straight up in ATS and their last seven
is a home favorite of between three and a half
to nine and a half, which they are and the
outscoring opponents in those seven games by seventeen point three
points per game. Their only loss in that sequence was
against number two Indiana earlier this season, so I do
(09:49):
think that Indiana is much more superior than USC. So again,
they lost to a high quality opponent in that game.
I don't think USC is up the Indiana standards to
make that comparison. Oregon, by the way, forty two and
two straight up in their last forty four at home.
(10:10):
Whenever you get a college football home favorite, all college
football home favorites just not Oregon. All college football home
favorites of three to ten and a half points. And
they've won twenty six or more of their last twenty
eight at home, and they're playing after game five of
the season. This is a recent betting angle of seventeen
(10:30):
and one straight up in ats since the start of
the twenty twenty three season, So this really favors Oregon
in this situation. USC has played four away games this year,
and they've allowed three hundred and ninety seven point three
yards per game in six point one yards per play
in those four road contests. On the other hand, Oregon
(10:52):
offensively at home, I mean, excuse me, at home, they're
allowing just sixteen point seven points per game in two
hundred and forty point seven yards per game, and that's
against conference fos, so that's not all game. That's against
Big ten opposition. And the defenses are night and day
(11:13):
in terms of these home and away dichotomies, and Oregon's
defense really in the first ten games, they've been outstanding
throughout the season. Thirteen points, seven points allowed, two hundred
and thirty five games allowed or yards allowed, and they've
held opponents two hundred and seventy six yards or less
in eight of ten games this year, and the other
(11:35):
two games they didn't allow opponents to seventy six or less.
They only allowed three to thirteen and three twenty six.
So I think, you know, Oregon gets that reputation as
this high flying, dynamic offensive team, but this year they're
really getting it done on the defensive end, and USC
(11:55):
has been pretty good defensively of late. But you know,
there's you still have to look at two road games
this year at Illinois and at Notre Dame, and they
gave up four hundred and forty two yards to Notre
Dame in five hundred and two yards to Illinois. So look,
(12:15):
I just think the defense will be the difference in
this game, and I think that Oregon will be able
to move the ball more consistently on the USC defense
than vice versa. They'll wear them down by the second half.
I'm gonna lay the nine and a half here with
Oregon at home against USC.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
All right, we like Oregon there.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
I want to circle back to NBA here. What's been
surprising to you here?
Speaker 1 (12:44):
NBA? I mean, to me, Detroit thirteen and two.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Has to be up there with some of the more
surprising things.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
I've tried to look at a team that's bad that
I've been doing.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Yeah, I mean you're Indiana Pacers. You know the team, Yeah,
I mean a Tina went to the NBA Finals last year.
I know they lost a lot from last year, but
the decline that we've seen, and you know, Helliburton being
out certainly isn't helping. But you would have thought a
team that we thought had a little more depth than
(13:18):
what they've showed so far and the decline they've gone
through at the beginning this year compared to what we
saw at the end of last season.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
This night and day, Andy, I am surprised because it's
a coach, it's a franchise, it's a group of players.
They're not the tank. Let's like throw away the season.
But boy, I mean one in thirteen you almost kind
of have to. You almost kind of have to at
this point.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
They have so many offensive numbers as well, Andy, you
know what I mean. They were used to seeing the
last couple of seasons Indiana be a dynamic offensive team.
Left a lot to be desired sometime on a defensive end,
but the offensive play in their statistics offensively again without
(14:04):
Hailer Burton, let's preface that, but still the decline in
the offensive production is very noticeable.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Yeah, let's see. How are the Pacers favored tonight? I
literally I was looking at this game and I was
kind of thinking the same thing, and I'm wondering if
well on DraftKings it's flipped Hornets are fair. I literally
think the books may be, like they're not gonna lose
every game?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Are they? Like one in thirteen?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Like I hate to use the well their due type
of thing, but I gotta be honest, the Pacers struggle
to score. I actually like the Hornets team total over
in that one.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Yeah, you know, Andy, if somebody would have told you
before the season began that on November the whatever today's
date is, the nineteenth nineteenth. Yeah, if and told you
Indiana was only going to be a one and a
half point home favored against Charlotte, you would probably told
(15:04):
them they were out of their minds. So again, that
speaks to the current status of the Indiana Pacers and
a game like that, it's the lesser two evils if
you're if you're going to pick a side there.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
They're half game behind the Wizards.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Ross they're half game behind the Wizards.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
I have aspective.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
I have the Clippers as a nominee for oh this
season could be in real trouble for them.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Four and ten.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Uh, they're dealing with all their normal injuries. Western Conference.
I actually think this is such a two team race.
I think Oklahoma City and Denver are in such a
such a tear by themselves. I've been so impressed with
a Thunder, I'm gonna break down them being the Kings.
What's been your take on the Thunder and the Nuggets season.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
I think the Thunder have been absolutely dominant and there's
been no slack off since last year. Of course, Denver,
anytime you have a two time MVP in the lineup,
solid team, very well coached. But I think a sleeper
in the West is the Houston Rockets. I mean, you're
looking at a team. They feel the tallest starting lineup
(16:15):
on average in the NBA. They're over a plus ten
rebound per game differential. I mean, look, you can't discount
the Rockets here. Their record might not be and they
started out owing two this year, so keep that in mind.
I think Houston, before it's all said and done, will
give at least Denver a run for the money. And
(16:41):
you never know. I mean, we'll see a playoff time,
but Houston's a team that's built for the playoffs right now,
so we'll see. I mean I like them as a
sleeper honestly. Andy in the.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
West, yeah, absolutely, One quick question and then we'll go
to this line makes no sense. Actually we'll do to
here SF Niner thinking about Warriors money line. You got
to check the injury of Steph Curry. He tweaked his
ankle last night, So this line is kind of tough.
Like you're rolling your if you're betting Warriors, you're rolling
(17:13):
the dice that you're getting a much better number if
Curry plays, but on a back to back tweaked the ankle.
I gotta imagine they probably.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Yeah, this early in the year, you know what I mean,
it's he's not going to play. And I faded the
Warriors last night. It's a game I'd stay away from
just because of the uncertainty involved. I can't imagine, like
you alluded to Andy, that Golden State would force Curry
or Curry would be anxious to get in on a
(17:44):
back to back after tweaking an ankle last night.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah, it would be silly, be reckless.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
And that's not exactly what what Steve Kerr and the
Warriors do.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Last question before we get to this line makes no sense. Rosco.
Any thoughts about Thursday football.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
You know, No, I'm going to pass on both games
in college football and the NFL. I will say this,
Buffalo came up with a superb effort last week, and
I like what they did offensively, obviously, Okay. I spoke
to you the week before on Buffalo and said, you know,
they got issues in terms of being able to stretch
(18:23):
the field. Well, they seem to come out with a
different philosophy last week, and they threw the ball vertically
a lot more than we were used to seeing prior
to that. And Gabe Davis is now on the fifty
three played last week is a big help because he's
used him and Josh Allen have good chemistry from his
(18:46):
first go around with Buffalo. The Shaver's kid came up
big last week and I think eliminating Keon Coleman out
of the lineup. I'm not sold on Kean cole They've
drafted him with the number in the second round. With
the first pick. They bypassed the kid from Kansas City
(19:08):
whose name escapes me, the Burnerve out of Texas, and
he's been nothing but an enigma. Now he's missing meetings
the second time he's been disciplined. He's probably not going
to be playing, and he doesn't get any separation in
the fifty to fifty balls, which he was supposed to
be so good at, very average at best. So I
(19:31):
think Buffalo's starting to show some signs offensively. The problem
is they're going to be going against probably, if not
the best defense, one of the best defenses in football,
and this line is really escalated up to six. A
lot of that has to do with CJ. Stroud being sidelined.
So it's a game that there's you know, you're looking
(19:53):
at a big line move, a lot of that is
predicated on the lack of quarterback. Well, the quarterback issue,
I should say C J. Stroud being out and I
don't know, you know, Buffalo show. They were good against
Kansas City offensively, they looked terrible against Miami, they were
great last week against Tampa Bay, and now they're going
(20:15):
to face a really good defense on short rest on
the road. So it's a game I would stay away from.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
This is just can I can I just point out
for Coleman, this is a life lesson be really careful,
showing that you're replaceable. They bench you and Shavers comes
in and goes four catches, ninety yards and a touchdown like.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Undrafted, undrafted kid that was on the practice squad the
last or last year at least, and finally actually the
last two years, and he finally gets a chance on
the fifty three, and you could see the kid is hungry,
you know, he's he's not resting on his laurels. There's
his number two d choice and he gives them a
(21:03):
chance to throw the ball downfield vertically and make plays.
So yeah, big difference there, I think.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, you leave the door open for a
hungry guy who's got all the motivation in the world.
That's the NFL. They will take advantage. All right, Ross,
let's do it. This line makes no sense. We're going
to Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Why does this line make no sense?
Speaker 4 (21:28):
Well, I mean, look, we got an eight and two
Vanderbilt team ranked number fourteen in the latest college football
Playoff poll. They're gonna need to win out and that
doesn't even assure them that they're gonna make the playoffs.
But if they went out, they'll give themselves an opportunity.
This is a team that's six and oh at home,
(21:50):
winning by decisive margins at home. Actually the average margin
of victory at home twenty two points a game. Kentucky
zero to four straight up this year against teams currently
ranked in the top twenty five, losing those games by
thirteen points per contest. And there's been no movement on
this line either. Vandy only a nine and a half
(22:12):
point favorite as a number fourteen team in the country
against the Kentucky team that's just two and five in
the SEC. And there are two wins in the SEC
came over Florida and Auburn, and those two teams are
combined eleven three and eleven excuse me a sec play,
So it's not like they have a sturist sparkling resume, Andy,
(22:35):
and I just it befuddles me that Vandy's just a
nine and a half point favorite. And when that happens,
I'm either gonna go contrarian with Kentucky or I'm just
gonna say this is way too fishy. And you know,
if it looks like a rat and smells like a rat,
it's a rat.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
We ain't playing rat lines, not on this show, not
on my watch.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Ross, listen, I want you to tell her what you
have about wager talk. But I get asked this question
all the time. How do you get into the business?
Speaker 1 (23:09):
And you know what, what do I have to do?
What Ross just did?
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Be able to jump in when when somebody's in or
that goes out, and be able to just talk off
the fly about a bunch of different props.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
You always have your research done, Ross, You always know
what's going on.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
You can always talk about anything and everything right then
and there. And that is why we love you, and
that's why I love seeing you every Wednesday.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Tell her, but it's very kind of you, Andy, But
you know, a couple friendly reminders, folks. College football continues
to roll four and one last week started this week
with a nice winner on Western Michigan last night. Number
two in units an number one and win percentage in
number one and return on investment this season at wager
(23:56):
talk with my college football plays up forty nine unit,
which is nine more units than I made last year
when I was number one overall, yet I'm number two.
That shows you the caliber handicappers we have at wager
talk dot com. Also, Folks football plays NFL college football
combined fifty one and thirty one since September eleventh, sixty
(24:20):
two percent up fifty seven hundred and six dollars. Weekend
Warrior Special really really paying dividends for people who've invested
with me this year. Nice weekend last weekend where we
went six and two with our Weekend Warrior package and
hit both of our five percent best bets one in
college football one in the NFL. Second week in a
(24:43):
row we've hit both five percent best bets, so a
lot of good things there, Folks, pay attention to that package.
Forty nine dollars You get all my college football and
NFL on Saturday and Sunday if I have anything in
the NFL on Monday, you'll get that well, and my weekend.
As a matter of fact, weekend football plays are up
(25:07):
well over sixty percent since going back to last year,
So take advantage of that, folks. Forty nine dollars you
get all my college football NFL on Saturday, Sunday and Monday,
including five percent best bets at NBA twenty six and
thirteen run in the NBA up over thirty four units.
(25:29):
So a lot of good stuff happening right now over
at waitytalk dot com and a lot more promos that
I'm sure that you will cover Andy throughout the course.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Absolutely, Ross Benjamin, awesome job. Thanks for crushing it as
always in Thanks for spending some extra time with me.
Always bringing the heat and always bring the thunder. There's
two NBA team throws.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
Thanks for having me, Andy, You have a great week.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Have a good one.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Somebody asked about college basketball player props. Yeah, like I've gone.
I've said a couple of times. It just they're not
available in enough markets. So there's some good ones that
you can find. For example, Ben Gold for Marquette, you
can get him over nine and a half points.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
He shot the ball really well over the last four games,
easy over. But it's just not available.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
I see it on bet MGM prize picks if he
got that. But sadly, you can't do much talking about
college basketball prop because they're just not available anywhere. So
I lost my five dollars play in NBA last night. Apologies, guys,
and that play wasn't even close. You know, if you
lose a play and it's a good read and you
just don't get there, that's one thing. But the read
on Luke Cornett over his rebound was terrible. The guy
(26:34):
was absolutely meaningless. So we get back on track today.
We've got four plays in the NBA and NHL that's
up in one pack.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Also cricket, we've got a cricket best bet.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
We've been sitting on this one for a couple of
weeks waiting for the lines to come out. Lines have
been out, but we released the play today and the
lines actually moved a little bit against.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Us, which is actually better for you guys, to get
the best bet.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
And the best thing about this wager talks being nice
and they're letting us do it for half price because
it's got basketball atfl everything we know. Cricket gets swept
under the rug. We've hit sixty percent of these cricket
plays lifetime, so you want to get aboard this cricket play.
And also we've got UFC two pack that is up.
We fit our last seven you heard that right, last
seven UFC best bets, so we're looking to make that nine.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
And oh this weekend.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
So we got NBA NHL that's up. We've got cricket
best bet.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
That is up.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Then that goes off tomorrow, so don't don't, don't dealy
dally go get that cricket play.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
It's half price.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
And then we got UFC two pack looking to extend
this winning street tonight. And no, all right, let's bringing
Drew Martin. Drew, we had to add you to two
Wednesday shows. We we got to talk maction. We got
Missouri Oklahoma looking good. The hat looks good, mustache looks good.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Man, you came ready to play.
Speaker 6 (27:47):
Man.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
How you've been I haven't talked to you in a while.
Let's been sure?
Speaker 5 (27:51):
Hey, Andy, Yeah, thanks for having me on bud.
Speaker 6 (27:53):
When Chris messaged me, I was like all about it
and had the mustache.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
Going doing a little Movember.
Speaker 6 (27:59):
So who doesn't want to talk midweek maction, little college
football on Wager Talk today. So always appreciate you having
me and right in your setup. You're bringing up cricket.
I mean, first off, you know, hats off to you
handicap in that and especially half off definitely you know
something people should should take notice of.
Speaker 5 (28:18):
And I'll tell you cricket is a great sport.
Speaker 6 (28:20):
It's one of, if not well, I think it's behind
soccer in terms of the biggest sports in the world.
I used to work with some Indian guys, like from
the country of India. They were like programmers, developers at
JP Morgan and Atlanta.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
They had a little leg going.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
It's a great sport to play. I don't know if
you've actually played it, but it's fun. I'm a big
cricket fan, so I have to go check that out.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I have not been introduced to cricket till we met
our friend Jan and Yan does all of our cricket plays.
You guys know Yan, he's the we call him the
cricket department as part of our team.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
I told him I missed my calling.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
This would have been right up my alley back in
my super back in my athletic days, I was like this.
The sport was meant for me. I would have been
great at this one. So yes, cricket is awesome. It's
a lot of fun. We got a big tournament, the Ashes.
It's not a tournament, it's yeah, two teams that play.
So yeah, that's coming up. So we're excited to be
watching that. So all right, Drew, let's jump into it. Here,
(29:16):
we're gonna talk.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Let's let's let's start with what game do you want
to Let's do maction? All right, Central Michigan, Kent State.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Let's let's talk this one minus nine and a half
over under fifty and a half. I mean, it's maction.
What was the last night we had a couple of
rain delays in a game?
Speaker 1 (29:33):
It's just maction. It's you never know what you're gonna get.
But how do you break down this game?
Speaker 5 (29:38):
Yeah, I mean midweek maction.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
It is Uh, it can be wildness and things can
happen that you don't always expect, you know, you bring
up the delays on top of that.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
It can be tough. But hey, ESBNU nationally televised game.
Speaker 6 (29:52):
Here we get the Chippawas playing some really good football
and actually the Golden flashes of recent have been playing
a little bit better overall. More about Central Michigan though
here I mean obviously laying a number minus nine at
a lot of shops. They're six and four, but they've
covered four straight andy and they've covered six of their
last seven games overall. So the chipwa is playing really
(30:13):
good football, not a team I'm looking to step in
front of. And their quarterback actually over seventy percent completions
the last three games. And something I'd like to look
at in college football is when a team has a
bye week, how do they perform in those next couple
games after the bye week, in particular the quarterback and
in completion percentage. Sure enough, CMU is Central Michigan is
(30:37):
checking that box. And the reason I go to the
bye week is because in college football a lot of times,
especially it's become more prevalent now with the nil and.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
The transfer portal.
Speaker 6 (30:48):
After a bye week, they can kind of practice get
a little bit more on the same page. It's really
worked for Central Michigan. So I'm looking to be on
the Chipwase, particularly offensively. The only problem with laying this
number is one they're on the road, so you know,
laying a number in maction. Weird things happen. Going on
the road can be tricky, but also Kent State is
(31:10):
playing a little bit better football. They just won last week,
putting up over forty points against Akron, an Acron team
that just won last night in maction, So scoring more
than forty points, I actually think this team is gonna
be able to score as well. They're also four and six,
so two more wins. They got to win out here.
They have a possibility to do so they're gonna have
(31:31):
to do so tonight is almost double digit underdogs. But
what I'm getting at is I think they're gonna be
able to score points sidewise. I think it's difficult, but guys,
we've already seen this over kick up a full field
goal here, and we're talking mid November football. When you
get a total move and a full field goal, some
of it being my money, that's something to be paying
(31:53):
attention to. So you can find fifty out there right now.
I like the over. I think we get more points,
and the odds makers are projecting here andy and it
looks like decent weather in Kent, Ohio, so yeah, we're
gonna go over Chippewa's Golden Flashes ESPN U seven o'clock
Eastern Andy.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Wow, decent weather later November in Ohio. You don't get
that very often.
Speaker 5 (32:18):
Well, it's cool, it's cool.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I know it's cold.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
Yeah, it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
I think last night we had the delay in the
Ohio UMass gay it was sheets of rain. All right,
Let's talk to Missouri Oklahoma here, Missouri Oklahoma. Nice matchup here,
Oklahoma minus seven and a half. Looks like you gotta
lay the hook here over under a pretty low forty
two and a half. How do you break this game down?
Speaker 6 (32:44):
You know, this one came to me in terms of,
you know what I feel like it should be like
a rivalry name Maybe there is. I couldn't find one,
but both both teams playing in the Big twelve years
ago and then now being in the SEC. They've actually
only played one since twenty eleven. Missouri won last year
by a touchdown. On this one. Missouri is a tricky
handicap because I almost wrote them off, like looking to
(33:06):
fade him down the stretch of the season. You know,
their quarter or their their head coach, drink Witz, he's
being thrown out there for other jobs.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
They dropped a couple in a row quarterback injuries.
Speaker 6 (33:17):
But just last week they scored forty nine points, almost
fifty points against Mississippi State. That's a pretty good Mississippi
State team. You know, some of these records in the SEC,
the teams are sporting. You just can't kind of go
off the blimpse view of what the record is. Being
able to put up almost fifty points against Misissippi State
that kind of changes things with Missouri. But Oklahoma on
(33:37):
the other side, I mean, the last two wins maybe
the two best consecutive wins in the country. They went
on the road at Tennessee one outright as a dog
and then backed it up going on the road two
Tuscalooso winning outright as a dog against Alabama. So two
very impressive wins a bye week in between, so it
kind of sets up well for Oklahoma. This defense has
(34:00):
been for real. I mean, in terms of their over
under numbers, they're just two and eight to the under,
so an under trender. If you're looking to bet the total,
it's a forty two is the total, but.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
I wouldn't betting it over.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
That's what I'm getting at sidewise, though, I think there's
a matchup handicap here where Missouri their run rate is
almost sixty percent, meaning they run the ball a lot,
and now they're going up against Oklahoma, They're going right
into the strength of this defense. This Oklahoma run defense
one of the best in the country. They're letting up
(34:34):
less than two and a half yards per rush. I
think it's gonna kind of be a long day offensively
for Missouri. It makes me look towards Oklahoma. It was
the number was nine, then eight. Now we're getting seven
and a half's out there. And as we're talking on Wednesday,
kind of following these line moves, a lot of times
you don't get a kickback, you know, buy back up,
(34:55):
at least at this point in the week. So I
might actually I guess my on this one is if
this keeps running down here, if Oklahoma does get to
a seven flat, you know, that's an important you know,
hook on the seven. If we can get that hook
off of the seven, just get Oklahoma seven in the
next day or two, that might be a time to
jump on the Sooners here at home against Missouri.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
All right, true Martin, awesome stuff here. What do you
got going on at wager talk?
Speaker 6 (35:25):
Well, tonight got a five percent max limit up and
available been hot.
Speaker 5 (35:30):
It's been a heck of a run in terms of
just college football overall.
Speaker 6 (35:33):
You know, longer term numbers this season in both NFL
and college football have been great. I mean, what over
forty percent profit in college football alone forty eight and
thirty might not sound that sexty but sexy, but it's
sixty one percent year to date and also on a
fifty two to twenty seven sixty six percent overall run
(35:56):
that since early September. And then hey, if you're into
kind of trends happening in the short term, you know,
certain days at twelve and OHO Wednesday night run a
lot of that being mactioned and sun belts. So these
midweek games they have been uh, they've been profitable and
have a big bet up for tonight's Mac game, the
game that we did not break down on the show.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Andy, all right, this is not I've talked We've we've
actually talked about this show. It's not a coincidence when
you're when you're good on a certain day, what was are.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
You what did you say? Twelve and zero on Wednesdays?
Speaker 5 (36:30):
Yeah, Yeah, it's been wild.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
I mean granted that that works into I think it's
like like sixteen and two Tuesday and Wednesday. So what
you're yeah, like, what you're bringing up is like it's
correlated with really a lot of my success in college
football is Sun Belt Conference USA MAC in during October
(36:53):
and November. They're playing on Tuesday and Wednesday night. So
that's the reason. It's not just ram. You know, Wednesday
nights have been good, although that could be a reason
as well, it's more so because that's where I concentrate,
you know, I kind of lock myself in a room
three screens watching these small conference games. And sure enough,
(37:14):
it's been profitable this season for sure on Tuesday and
Wednesday nights, particularly on Wednesday nights for whatever reason.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Now, no, this is a real thing.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
We did a deep dive on some tennis plays and
we realized we were hitting it like Mondays on like
a huge rate. We were losing on Fridays. We realized, oh,
Mondays is the start of the tournament. There's more options.
By the time you get to Friday, a lot of
people get eliminated. And we were like, oh, it's not
necessarily the day of the week. There's an actual reason
behind it. So, yeah, we isolate days a week and
(37:44):
you figure out why you're running that hot.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
Yeah, take advantage. I'm in twelve and zero on Wednesdays.
Speaker 5 (37:49):
Let's go.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Sounds good to me, Drew Martin. We got to do
this more often.
Speaker 2 (37:53):
Man, don't be a stranger. I can't wait to have
you on the show again. Hopefully we'll below, We'll get
you on moving forward.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
So thank you very much, Drew. Have a great Wednesday.
Let's make this thing thirteen to.
Speaker 6 (38:01):
No absolutely Andy, thanks for having me all right out there.
Cash those tickets, all.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Right, Drew Martin.
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Awesome stuff. Bruce wants to know what's the NBA lock. Well,
as you know, we don't do locks. But Bruce, I
love you. You always ask about a lock. So these
aren't locks. But this is just the Bruce all right.
So Bruce, every time you ask me what's an NBA player,
I promise I will give you one. So let's do
(38:30):
who do we want tonight for Bruce's NBA play? Let's
go Davey on Mitchell for Miami.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
He's been hot.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Let's take him over nine and a half points last
five games, he's gone over and this is a Golden
State team. That could be without Steph Creem. I guess
as they are without Steph Curry. I know we think
is stuff with offense, but once you rotate other guys
in the defensive switches may.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Not be real great.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
And the last time he played Golden State, yeah it
was last year, but he had twelve points.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Look at Davion Mitchell. How many? What see the what's
he been shooting? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Twelve, six, thirteen and nine field goal tens last four games? Yeah,
Davion Mitchell. Let's do Davion Mitchell. So bet against the Pacers.
Thanks a lot, Thanks a lot. Actually, at this point,
I do hope the Pacers lose. That way we get
a better, better, better draft pick. So all right, let's
do a big game breakdown Teddy Cover style. We're gonna
(39:25):
do the Thunder and the Kings. Let's break down Oklahoma
City Thunder and the Kings. Oklahoma City minus eighteen and
a half that is not a typo minus eighteen and
a half with an over under of two thirty two
against the Sacramento Kings. I have a first half play
in this one, and I also have a player prop
(39:46):
to go over in this one. So let's go over
some stats. I've been talking about this Thunder team. I
don't know if I've seen a more deep team. If
they can run the table and win a championship, this
has to go in the running as one of the
best teams I've ever seen. As of now, they are
first in defensive efficiency and fourth in offensive efficiency, and
(40:06):
they're nineteenth in pace. So really, what that means is
they slow you down, you can't score, and then they
just run like a flawless half court offense. Like this
team has no weaknesses right now. Meanwhile, the King's twenty
fifth in offensive efficiency and twenty seventh in defensive efficiency,
so now we see why this spread is eighteen and
a half. On top of that, Sabonis is gonna be
(40:27):
out tonight. The Thunder last four home wins by an
average of twenty six points. The interesting one is they
did play on October twenty eighth. This was at OKC,
only a six point win from the Thunder. So the
Kings they don't win on the road, but they haven't
lost by this many points on the road yet this season.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
The most is a fourteen point loss. So here's what
I'm gonna look at this game. I'm gonna look at
the first half. Total.
Speaker 2 (40:54):
Sacramento is six and one to the over on road
games this season. Oklahoma City is five and two to
the over at home on the first half. I'm gonna
take the over one eighteen and a half in the
first half in the Kings and the Thunder. This is
the King's third road game in a row and the
last game total against the Spurs at half was one
twenty six. Before that, on the road against the Wolves,
(41:15):
the total at halftime was one twenty two, and the
first meeting between these two teams, the full game went under,
but at first half they had one hundred and twenty points.
So you get a Sacramento Kings team without Sabonis inside,
you get an Oklahoma City team that is rolling, especially
at homeless. Take the over at the first half, and
we'll take maleak Monk over ten and a half points.
(41:36):
With Sabonis out, He's averaging twenty five point five minutes
and eighteen points.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
I believe it or not.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
He had fifteen against this Oklahoma City Thunder team earlier
this season. So take leak Monk as the player prop
in this one. In the first half, over one eighteen
and a half. As always, we have some props that
are up tonight. These are our best bets. These are
plays that we bet with our own money. We've got
three NBA props and one NHL prop that is right
up into one package. We have our cricket best bet,
(42:03):
it is half priced that starts tomorrow. We don't have
too many cricket plays, but when we do fire away,
we hit sixty percent of these lifetime So cricket's been
a really, really good way to build the bankrolls. And
we have two UFC best bets that are up seven
straight UFC winners. That is that is correct, seven straight
after another sweep last Saturday.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
So we got a ten.
Speaker 2 (42:21):
Am start on Eastern time in Qatar in UFC. Pretty
good betable card. We got two best bets that we like.
