Speaker 1 (00:02):
All right, pres coming down and three two.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
One way did you talk today?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Is that's a great start. Oh, Lawrence Presment here, welcome
everybody to wage you talk today. I'm on show number three.
Uh no, I'm not on joint number three. Oh but
he might be caught red handed. Gianni the Greek will
(00:31):
be starting this show Steve Merrill after that.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
We got Dave Mason from Bett Online. I hope and
Kyle Anthony will end this show. H Dan, did we
get a hold of Dave Mason? Because I don't know,
did you get hold of him?
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (00:48):
No, Dan? Uh Gianni, let's go, baby. We got tons
of NBA to talk about. We got some baseball, some hockey.
Not my not my greatest opening of all time, I
would say, right, oh maybe maybe maybe people enjoyed it.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
I'm just sorry. I'm just all over the place and
I got so many.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Things because of this crazy draft.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Blocking bead shout outs.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
To my man, always, always, always, brother, appreciate you more
more and more every day.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
That's my guy. That's that's why we needed to start
this with the shout out.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, block blocked is a blocked has become a legend
based on your legendness. Let's start with the NFL Draft
right off the bat, and guys, stay with us all
the way through.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
We're gonna take about all the NBA games.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
We're gonna look at the NHL card, we're gonna look
at baseball. Tons of actionable betting information coming your way.
Hit that like button, subscribe to our channel, Giohnny. Let's
start on the NFL Draft right off the bat. I
know this is something you bet on a regular basis.
Give us some info, brother, it's going.
Speaker 4 (01:56):
To Here's what I've learned.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
I've learned to bet it later, to try to get
out ahead of all the information, and I found out
I made more money, higher return on investment by waiting
for confirmation, because I'm not afraid to put up a
lot of money to win a little if I know
I have the right side, as opposed to putting a
little to win a lot just to play like psychic,
(02:18):
because that's what you're doing early on. You gotta remember
a lot of these gms and coaches, they're not tipping
their hand early, you know what I mean. They may
want a player and they don't want to let that
be known because there's a team ahead of us. That
also is looking for, let's say a tight end or
something like that. But then on the flip side of
the coin, you have a handful of gms and teams
(02:38):
that have already told you what they want, who they're getting.
In fact, some have even reached out to these players already.
So I urge you. I urge you to trust the
line moves that happened today. That's how you're gonna make
your money. Listen, opinions are great, but Vegas backs their
opinions with cash. They know if they're wrong, it's going
(02:59):
to cost them a lot of money. Kind of like
the rankings throughout the season in college football.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
The only reason you should ever pay attention to them
is to.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
See where they're wrong the narrative compared to what the
odds makers think. Because the odds makers don't care about
the popularity contest or the record. They care about on paper,
how good is this team? Would they be favored over
the other? That's how they That's how they look at it,
power ratings, not rankings.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
And it's the same with the draft. When you start
seeing those line moves confirm something, don't be afraid to
bet it. And if the line's gotten a little away
from you. Here's how you use it. You use it
by looking at your mock draft. You should already have
a mock draft of what you think.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Is gonna happen, and then as it happens or where
you're wrong, then you could cross off players like you know, Okay,
this guy's gone. This team's still looking for a tight
end or running back. This is the next best available.
That's how you make some money on draft Day. That's
why I've only released three so far. I'm gonna give
you the biggest bet I made already, and that's the
(04:05):
under two and a half quarterbacks. I started betting that
pres at like plus one forty. I gave it to
my subscribers at plus one thirty. I even bet it
two nights ago at minus one oh five. Because as
deep as I look on this first round, I can't
see more than two quarterbacks. I see cam Ward going
(04:25):
number one, even though he's not the best, a valuable player.
He's going to go number one to Tennessee. We already
know that. But after that, the only thing I see
is the possibility of Dean Sanders' son, and his stock
continues to drop.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
Now people think he's going to go.
Speaker 5 (04:41):
To the Steelers around twenty one. Before that, I don't
see a quarterback going except for the number one spot.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
After that, I don't see a quarterback going.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
So I really feel confident we're going to cash that
under two and a half, just like I feel confident
in the over six and a half that we laid
a little bit of juice to go over offensive linemen. Listen,
when teams are stuck where a player gets lost that
they wanted, you know what they're going after. They're going
after an offensive lineman. They're going after the trenches unless
(05:15):
there's you know, edge rusher available. That's what these gms
are building off of offensive line and defensive line. Unless again,
you have a specialty position that needs to be filled,
like a wide receiver or running back, like we know
the Raiders.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
The Raiders want a running back.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
I mean if obviously they want that kid from Boise State,
Ashton Janty, that's who they want. They're not going to
go into the season with most Art and McCormick as
their top running backs.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
You know, that's what Carol wants. He needs a running back.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
So if there's a trade before that, or if Jant
goes before that, you look for the next available top
top top running back. That's how you make money on
draft day. Followed by that Odds logic screen up or
whatever you're using, and follow those line moves, those confirmations,
They all but assure you what's gonna happen again. It's
(06:10):
great when you hit a ten to one, fifteen to
one long shot, if you're the only one that called
the kid from Georgia going to the six spot or whatever.
But the amount that you're gonna lose trying to hit
that ten to one barely's going to cover that up.
I'm comfortable laying four hundred five hundred to win one
hundred when I know this is all butt confirm and
that's what I'm looking for today. So subscribers, I know
(06:31):
you only got three prop bets so far. You will
receive them over the next couple hours. We make money
year in, year out on the draft. This one will
be no different.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Gioanni the Creek joining us. Guys, hit that like button,
show us some love. Gianni Sniper Wes from Sports Memo
will be joining me right after you. I'm excited. I've
never had him on uh. He is our two dollars
Tuesday handicap or over at sports Memo. So guys with
us a inaugural, Uh.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
Good job.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Yeah, And you know what, dude, you there's like forty
guys there, like if he if he was chosen as
our two dollars Tuesday andicapp er Sniper West is obviously rolling.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
We'll talk to him about that after.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Brother, let's talk NBA, and then I want to get
into a scenario with you. A conversation I had last
night with a you know, a weekend better so to speak,
that I thought was fascinating NBA to night we got
three games going.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Just got buried last night. Baby, they got buried. Orlando
got them there. Luckily they got Orlando there. There would
have been a horrific night because Houston not only got
the money on the money line, they got the money
against the spread as well. And uh, like I said
that the wise guys were going unders, and uh, they
didn't get there. I didn't release an NBA play yet,
(07:52):
so fortunately I avoided that landmine.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
But fortunately I did what I did.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
I released I released you on the money line minus
one fifty five. Obviously I would you know, damn why
didn't I take them on the point spread?
Speaker 4 (08:07):
But it made no difference either way.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
I cash my ticket. I called it a day. My
run in NBA continues, Johnny my runs right now. Brother.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
The two of us are on fire.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Like I've had one losing day in the last ten
I've had five losing days in the last twenty five days.
So yeah, at my MLB and my NHL. Dude, I
know it really is. It really is an incredible feeling.
But what that said, the feeling of losing is way
(08:45):
worse than the excitement of winning. So we all do
have to take that with a grain of salt. Okay, NBA,
what do we bet in all three of these gets?
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Art betters immediately immediatelyly bet Oklahoma.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
City at minus at Ina happened.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
That was not a surprise because that's going to be
the overwhelming public side.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
So here's what they know.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
We bet minus eight and a half in those accounts
that are shaded as sharp, the books are going to
move it. The public don't care about whether it's eight
and a half or nine and a half. They're still
going to bet it. I think if this line gets
the double digits, that's where you're gonna see some take
back on the other side. On the home team on
the Grizzlies. I'm not convinced that Oklahoma City is a
(09:25):
legit move. I think that's more like getting out ahead
of the market when you're all but assured you're gonna
have a better number in your pocket, the one that
what that game closes at. And then they're also betting
the dog in the Detroit Nicks game. You got a
little more dog money on Detroit. Not surprised, you know,
it's a coin flip type of game. I think that's
(09:45):
going to balance out. I think you'll get just as
much Nick money later on. But it's the Lake game.
It's the late game where you have what's it called
the Clippers getting bet by the sharp betters, and the
recreational betters are actually taking the nuts, so they're gonna
help offset that risk there.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
And under is also where the groups got in. They
went under two fourteen and a half.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
Again, they're only betting these unders more or less in
NBA playoffs, So to tie that up, they got ahead
of the market or Oklahoma City minus state and a half.
But that one's going to be heavily bet by the
betting public. Look for a middle opportunity. If you see
that line start to drop a little later in the day,
and then the Knicks Pistons good two way action there.
(10:29):
That's why you're not seeing much of a line movement.
Nuggets Clippers opposite opinions. Recreational betters liking the points with
the Nuggets, sharp betters laying the points with the Clippers
all the way up the minus four and four and
a half, and then they also went under two fourteen
and a half. Not much there from the recreational betters yet.
So it's not a day like yesterday to or to
(10:51):
have a ton of risk on one team. It's kind
of a little bit more squad now, and with the
Nuggets being that late game that'll be heavier bet by
the public. They had the sharps that are offsetting that risk.
So it's going to be one of those days where
it's going to be a book maker getting eleven to ten.
Nothing better than that, because they're gonna get a ton
of volume and not much risk.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Uh, Gianni, awesome stuff. Brother, So I want to I
want to talk to you about a conversation I had
last night really quick with and I was at a
bar and I sent to my my friend. We were
watching the Washington Capitals play Montreal Canadians. I bet the
Capitals in regulation. I released it to my clients at one.
But he bet the Montreal Canadians in regulation at plus
(11:34):
two forty. And I asked him, I said, you know
what made you make that bet? What was your sort
of mindset? And he told me basically, it came down
to the fact that they were plus two forty.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
That was his mindset.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
You know, he could pay one hundred dollars and win
two hundred and forty. And I said to him, if
you are betting, if this exact game takes place ten times,
same scenario, Game two, Washington with their lineup, Martreal with
their lineup, you know, washing up one nothing into Washington,
(12:11):
same exact scenario. It happens ten times in a row.
How many times do you think Montreal wins in regulation?
His response was twenty five percent of the time. What
would make a person bet a plus two fifty if
they have twenty five percent chance of winning that bet?
Speaker 5 (12:33):
Tell them you need plus three hundreds just to break even.
So well, you're way below break even. At three hundred,
you're breaking even. So you need plus three to fifty
or better to feel you made a good bet and
that just doesn't play out.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
And that's what I want to talk to our listeners about,
that concept of ask yourself that question. Guys, like before
you just make a bet. You know, I thought there
was a lot of value on Dallas last night and
they won, but I didn't make the bet.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Why didn't I make the bet because.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
They were twenty cents off of the value I needed
to make that bet. Don't just pick winners or bet
against teams that you think are gonna lose. That's not
gonna work. You've got to ask yourself those questions. You
know what is mine hit?
Speaker 4 (13:24):
The outcome?
Speaker 5 (13:25):
We would just bet the better team on paper every
time rights not you look down, you know who the
better team is. You just bet the better team, you know,
shout out to all about my man, all about my bills,
Thank you, brother, thank you, and Mark.
Speaker 4 (13:36):
Feeling great about the UFC. In fact, I have a
five percent.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
You know how rare those are, But there's a five
percent up there in UFC for Saturday.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
So feeling confident there.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Yeah, So I just wanted to make mention of that. Guys,
just ask yourself that question as you move forward, especially
in baseball, you know how many times you know, at
home the Dodgers play, you know, the worst team in
the lead and their minus four to ten with that
picture against that picture, ask yourself, how many times out
(14:07):
of ten or out of one hundred in that spot
will the Dodgers win? And if it's less then what
they're giving you take that into account. Don't just jump
on games when you think one team is gonna beat
the other. You will get annihilated. And look, he was wrong.
(14:27):
He bet his plus two forty and you know how
much money he made betting one hundred dollars to win
two forty zero. So I just wanted to say that
because that really is one of the biggest issues that
face amateur betters, is that concept of just which team.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
Is gonna win?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Therefore I'm betting them no matter what. I'll chase the
line until I'm blue in the bloody face. Hey yeah,
what's the dog's name?
Speaker 6 (14:58):
Ah?
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Baby, wasn't mine? Wasn't mine? You know? Mine was Bruiser.
Mine was Bruiser and Rockett what kind of dog? But
they were lost. This is a baby poodle, baby cute?
Speaker 1 (15:12):
Uh gianni baseball hockey. Let's go and then we'll call
it today all right.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
In NHL, I want their own Ottawa, no surprise, Ottawa
at home, and the public's on Ottawa as well. I'm
I'm a little worried about that. The line reflects some
respect on Ottawa. But I think if you got down early,
it's obviously a good bet you got some CLV. But
when I see the sharps and the public on the
same side, and the public continues to vet at the
(15:38):
bad line, and that usually worries me. But then they
also bet Vegas, and that's a side to actually lean
a little bit. But I'm not gonna lay that kind
of price on the road. The opener was good at
one forty. At one sixty, I would not bet Vegas
in my opinion, I want to. I like Saint Louis
against winnip I mean Winnipeg against Saint Louis. That's the
one road favorite I think is warranted. I think they
(15:59):
win that game six out of ten times. I think
they should be a minus one fifty at worst. So
just in opingon out there, I like the Winnipeg side
real quickly. In Major League Baseball, here's what we're looking at,
White Sox at plus two oh five were better, so
they don't think they lose that game. Two out of
three times nine oh eight A's plus one thirty plus
one twenty five, also under nine in the A's game
(16:21):
all the way up to minus one twenty five, so
they don't have to go under eight and a half.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
LA and Pittsburgh over eight and.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
A half for minus one oh five all the way
to minus one twenty five. So willing to pay heavy
juice not to go over nine in that Pittsburgh LA
and finally Tampa Bay Arizona numbers. They bet over seven
and a half late a little juice to go over
seven and a half, then took the eight at even money,
then bet the over eight all the way up to.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
Minus one fifteen.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
So definitely a lot of sharp money on the over
in Tampa Bay, Arizona sets White Sox A is and
under over in Pittsburgh, LA, over in Tampa Bay and
Arizona In baseball.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Giohanny, your boy blocker, wants to know how you calculate
that you need plus three hundred to justify a twenty
five percent win rate. If you want to do it
on Twitter, go ahead. If you want to do it now,
go ahead. If you want to save it to Monday,
Go ahead, your choice.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Yeah, well, it's different for every sport because you're talking
between a money line and a point spring. Gotta remembery,
you could even do this in NFL because all you
have to do is flip the money line into the
point spread. Every point spread equals a certain money line
minus six. Maybe I'm just arbitrary number minus two fifty,
you know what I mean. So if you're gonna lay six,
it's gonna equate to a money line and minus two
(17:42):
fifty minus two fifty, you know you're gonna need minus
three hundred where you win that game, you know, three
out of four times to think you have an edge. Now,
as far as how you determine that implied win probability,
everybody does it differently. There's no specific formula or equation
that you could follow. That's it' that's the holy grail.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
How you do it?
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Are you able to get there from from a program?
Are you able to get there from certain stats you
look at? Are you able to create a model that
spits out implied win probability?
Speaker 4 (18:14):
There's no c.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
That's the key, guys. And yes, you know, because for instance,
Marco does his win probability based on situational andy kapping model.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
If you're if you're a programmer, because it's there's no bias,
you punch in the numbers, it's gonna spit out.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
It's going to play the game for you.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
A thousand times, ten thousand times, one hundred thousand times,
depending on what your program is, and it's going to
spit out the implied win probability aftery're playing the game
a thousand times at that number. That's the best way
to do it. But again, I'm not a computer savvy,
tech savvy type of guy, but I know a lot
of you younger people are. I would get into modeling.
I would really get into modeling.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
And Johnny and we're not going to talk about this,
but I want to throw this out there. Maybe we'll
get to it next week. Is this concept of NHL
regulation betting too, Because you have a situation where a
team is minus one eighty on the money line, if
you bet them in regulation, it's sixty cents less.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
So now the modeling becomes what's.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
The better bet? Is the better bet paying the sixty
cents and taking it on the money line or saving the.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
Sixty cents and putting it on the regulation line.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
And there is math equations out there that can help
you guys figure that out. Unequivocally, the better bet is
taking it in regulation. Anytime you have a money line
bet in NHL and you take it in regulation from
starting to finish at the end of the year, you're
going to be better off. Sixty cents is way too
(19:49):
high a price to pay to take the game with
overtime included.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
But there's right go under go under Craig on a
wil like on. I like the under the Ottawa Toronto game. Yeah,
I like that.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
I love that under Giohanny the Great, my man.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Have an incredible weekend. I will see tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Have an incredible Pursday. Be good, my friend, guys. Couple
of quick things to roll through. Firstly, our good pal
Andrew Wadge wrote, you know, Alex writes, why doesn't Eddy
co host anymore? Wadg wrights Teddy and Prez are beefing
they hate each other. That is totally wrong. Teddy and
(20:31):
I freaking love each other, love each other. There is
no beef. Teddy moved on. It's all good. It was
just it was just too busy. We also have some
big big, big, big wage of talk news coming on Monday,
So stay with us for that show. And I know
(20:55):
watch that you were joking around, brother, but I just
wanted to use that as an opportunity to say we
got some big news coming. Miles, my man, I see
you in the chat room.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Thanks for coming on.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
You're gonna tell me that Blue Line is trash, JP
writes present. It's hard to buy your NHL plays when
every single play on the Blue Line is winning. Yes,
fair enough, go to the Blue Line, watch that show
and get my plays there. I have no problem because
(21:29):
that Blue Line show is on freaking believable. It is
so fun to do as well. Anyway, guys, let's get
to Sniper West and then Steve Merrill is gonna come
on to talk NBA Sniper West. You can find him
at Sports Memo. He's our two dollars Tuesday Andicapper there.
He's an exceptional Andy Kapper. We're lucky to have him.
(21:52):
How are you, my friend, I'm.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Doing fantastic press. Thank you so much for having me on.
I'll tell you what. I've been watching you for a
long time. I remember COVID. You you obviously know sports
going on, and you you kind of went into the
documentaries of you know, all the Kappers and all the
guys in town, Dave Cocin. Yeah, yeah, I've been watching
you for a long time, so it's a pleasure to
finally be on with you. And yeah, thanks for having
(22:14):
me on.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
No, dude, absolutely, and and you know it's my pleasure.
So you know, to me, I do this every day
and it's always good to have some new faces.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
On here with us.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
You have a two dollars Tuesday play with the clients.
We'll get to that first after. Do you have a
bet to give out on the show today?
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
I mean I got a lot of leans. You want
to talk some hockey, You want to talk some basketball,
you want to talk some baseball? You want to talk
about today?
Speaker 1 (22:44):
Dude, There's never a moment when I don't want to
talk hockey. But I'm kind of hockeyed out. You got
any thoughts on the Cleveland on the New York Knicks
Detroit game, I'm catching you, right, I mean literally, zero planning,
no preparation. I throw a game, Matt, you can you
handle it?
Speaker 3 (23:02):
Well? I do have an opinion on this game. So,
first of all, Detroit has been the better team here
for seven of.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
The eight courters. Okay, in my opinion.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Obviously, they have that implosion twenty one to nothing run
in the fourth quarter of the first game. That was
not pretty, but they learned a lot from that, right,
They rebounded nicely, and they faced adversity in that second game.
If you remember, they started to kind of not really employed,
but they weren't playing well down the stretch. But they
overcame it and they actually won that game. So I
think that votes well for their confidence. I think they're
(23:31):
coming back home. If you remember Detroit basketball, right, they
haven't had a home off game in a long long time.
I don't know how long, but it's probably been over
a decade, so that place will be raucus. I like
the Pistons here, Yeah, just a lot of confidence, and
I just think that they're, you know, all the momentum
is with them right now.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
So I'm going to take the Pistons here.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
On the money line, I think there was maybe plus
one hundred plus one oh five right now, But I
like the Pistons tonight.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Yeah. And it's also, you know, it's one of those
interesting things when you're right.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Detroit has not brought a full game out yet, and
I think that bodes well. I think they're coming into
this game with confidence, and I think emotionally the Knicks
must be saying, hey, you know, we're playing good ball,
we just can't seem to get it over the edge.
So yeah, makes sense to me, my brother. So what
is your best sports sniper, Wes? Is it hockey or basketball?
Speaker 4 (24:25):
Well, I will tell you what.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I've had a very good season in the NBA this year.
In fact, i'm looking at the I have the record
up right here, well actually in the playoffs on four
and one plus eleven eighty to the good already. Actually
they took the record down for the regular season, but
I believe I was fifty seven percent in the NBA
for about plus five thousand. Yeah, yeah, really good NBA season.
(24:46):
And UFC has actually been pretty good to me for
you know, twenty twenty nine, well, yeah, sixty five percent
in the USC. We have a card coming up this
weekend as well. Looking forward to that. Twenty two and
twelve in the UFC plus forty two of three to
the good. I don't I haven't looked at the card
this weekend yet.
Speaker 2 (25:03):
Only reason why I like.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
To watch the Waans before I kind of really handicap everything.
So usually Friday afternoon I'll start working on UFC.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
There we go. Sniper West outstanding stuff. You can find
him at sports Memo. He's our two dollars Tuesday andicapper.
He's got a five percent max winner. It's only two bucks.
It's less than a cup of really shitty coffee from
Dunkin Donuts, so take advantage of that. Are really nice
to have you with us. I can't thank you enough, brother,
Best of luck with your five percent play. Let's keep
(25:32):
the show rolling real quick shout out to all of
you guys who enter the chat room on a regular basis,
Thank you for that. Tomorrow, one pm Eastern, that's one
pm Eastern, the Blue Line will.
Speaker 4 (25:47):
Be live live.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
We're gonna combine it with Puck Time Me Andrew McGinnis,
Matthew Barnaby, Andy Lang, and a couple of NHL hockey players.
We're gonna go through this entire slate of games for Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, and some future bats will take your questions.
Make sure to join us one pm Eastern live. Steve
Merrill joining us live right frecking now, how are you,
(26:13):
my man?
Speaker 7 (26:14):
And just to prove that Teddy Covers loves this show,
he didn't come on his spine. We had Sniper West
instead today.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
Yeah, Teddy was having Internet issues, you know, or sooey
or sooey, he tells us.
Speaker 7 (26:26):
Well exactly, we don't know. I saw him on Facebook
ten minutes ago.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Now, just kidding.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Yeah, but that was some deep voice that was I
was like, you're doing fhone sexy.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
Yeah, I'm hurting guys. So talk about kissing reverse kiss
of death. The pollen in Virginia this year has been
as bad as I've ever seen. I say that every year.
And then about five six days ago, my eyes weren't
itching for four or five days and nothing was bothering me.
I go, we're good, we're done. And then like two
days ago, it is the worst I've had. I see
an article yesterday it says it's gonna be bad the
rest of April. So I'm healthy, just got the throat's going.
(26:58):
But I'm also doing NBA Playoff game every day in
a video, including all three and I We're going to
talk about a few here, but once again check out
the videos and p As you mentioned, how you know
you give away a lot on the NHL Show. I'm
giving away every NBA playoff game, So why do people
still buy my picks? Well, because I'm not using every
playoff game as a best bet, right, I've got two
best bets tonight, I know five or six opinions. And
(27:20):
by the way, on an eight and two runs, if
you're playing all the videos, you're winning, but you're not
hitting eighty percent like my best bets over the past week.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
Yeah, no, and well said. Except the crazy thing is
I'm four and one in the playoffs for my clients,
and I'm probably twenty and one on the blue line.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
So it is tough. Listen.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
We got to get we got to get the show moving.
We still got Dave Mason for Ben Online coming. We
got Kyle Anthony to talk UFC. Let's dig deep into
Oklahoma City and Memphis. Johnny came on already said a
ton of wise action is being bet on OKAC A
public is on Oka see sixty two of all bets
made to day is okay. See the line has moved
(28:02):
a full point. They're now minus two and a half.
The total is two to two seven. Where are you
going in this one? My brother?
Speaker 7 (28:10):
Yeah, pres this is a good example what I'm talking about.
You know, in the video I did the video of
the day before, I put it up last night so
people can get the deep dive for all these games
here on Waiter Talk TV. But I leaned towards the Grizzlies.
It's Memphis are passed for me. But once again, not
a game that's gonna make my best bet card. So
this is one of those examples. It's a light lane
only I'm not looking to fade a team down two
(28:30):
at home. But I'm also not looking to fade the
best team in the NBA. You know, I thought Game
two maybe it was a decent spot for Memphis as well.
Luckily I left that off the best bet card. It's
one of the reasons I'm on an eighty percent eight
and two best bet run is because I'm not forcing
plays on every game. But the videos I do give
you my breakdowns, I'll let you know which way I'm leaning.
And one of the things I said about Game two
is like, look, we know the thunder can blow out Memphis.
(28:50):
They just won by fifty one points in Game one.
And by the way, that was an NBA playoff record
for Game one, fifty one point win. They're by far
the best team in the league. They had sixty eight
wins this year. I think Cleveland, Boston d what like
sixty one or so. That's how much better they were
than everybody else. Yet the Grizzlies are still a capable team.
So the question becomes, does OKAC take their foot off
(29:11):
the gas. They didn't do so in Game two with
the nineteen point win. If it's gonna happen, it's gonna
happen tonight, and we are getting some line value. I mean,
this line was eight and a half and I did
the video yesterday. Now it's nine and a half and
we're seeing nine and a half minus one fifteen at
bet online. So Dave Mason will probably confer that they're
getting some money on the Thunder as well. We might
get a plus ten by tip off. Grizzlies are passed.
(29:32):
For me, the line is inflated. Long term, there's probably
a slight edge money wise or math wise with this
inflated line, but once again, nothing would surprise me. If
the Thunder want to win by margin, They've shown they
can do it. One other interesting point I'll point out
about the Grizzlies. If you look at net rating for
the overall season, Oklahoma City the best team in the league.
Grizzlies had the sixth best net rating in the NBA
this year out of all thirty teams, so they are
(29:53):
a capable team. Problem is they had some injuries Clark
other guys down the stretch and they're only like seventeenth
in the last ten games. But I would lean Memphis here,
but once again, you're playing against the best NBA team
if you do so.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
Steve Merrill joining us, Steve, what are you not going
with the clients before we jump into our next game?
Speaker 7 (30:10):
Yes, not using that game to night, But I do
have two strong NBA best bets. I've got a sign
and also a team total, and we cast our team
total last night, cast it the night before as well.
And the NBA's just smoking right now. And it's funny
you guys are talking about that next game. I had
Detroit in game one on Saturday and the next one
on a twenty one nothing run and barely covered. And
ever since then we've gone eight and two eighty percent
(30:32):
Sunday on So that was really the turning point. We're
on a monster run in both baseball and basketball, and
this time. Last year, we did the same thing, and
my clients had doubled their bankroll by the end of August.
We're up over one hundred units by the end of
August last summer, and it started right now. If you'd
like to get a one year all access every sport
every day for about a dollar a play, use promo
code SM three sixty five. Full details on my page,
(30:53):
along with a free baseball play tonight Steve Merrill, wager
Talk dot com and get there quicker WT dot buzz.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
S Steve Merril joining us. Dave Mason still to come,
same with Kyle Anthony. Steve, let's get into the Denver
LA Clippers game. I'm rolling in NBA right now. I've
told everybody since January fourth, I'm up sixty units of profit.
My playoffs have been ridiculous and I'm on a twenty
three and ten NBA run. I had the Clippers in
(31:23):
Game two against Denver. We got it done. Now they're
home and they're minus five and a half, which I
find to be a fascinating line.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
I think that lie.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
It feels high to me, Steve.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
I'm curious where you're going here.
Speaker 7 (31:40):
Yeah, another game in which we've seen the money coming
on the favorite. It opened four and a half a
couple of days ago. You'll see Wadger Talk showing the
consensus line as mine as five. But then again, our
friends at that online Dave Mason will tell you next
it's five and a half there now and some of
the other sharper books. So I think the money is
on the Clippers. I think the sharp early money was
on the Clippers, and I would agree with that move.
(32:00):
I liked LA as well. In Game two. I gave
that out free in my video. You know, I mentioned
I leaned to Memphis, but I gave out the Clippers
for free as well. Didn't use either one of those
as best bets the other night, but gave a nice
winner in the video there. And one of the things
I pointed out is that I thought the Clippers were
the better team. And yes they lost Game one, but
that was in overtime by just two points. Keep in
mind it was in the thin air and altitude of Denver.
That's always an edge of the Nuggets the longer the
(32:22):
game goes, especially ot as they're used to it, and
the Clippers had not lost a game in April until
that loss in Game one, which was one Skain by
just two points in ot They also had a fifteen
point lead in that loss in Game one and blew it,
so thought they would bounce back in Game two. They
did do so. Overall a pretty evenly matched series, So
you would think on the surface the zigzag would work
pretty well here, and it might, but I still lean
(32:44):
towards the better team. In Game three, when it's one
to one, I'm gonna throw the zigzag out. I think
the Clippers get the win here. Yes, the lot is inflated,
but if they get the win, they most likely get
the cover. One thing you don't want to do, and
you and you, Johnny were talking about this earlier, is
you don't want to just take a four or five
point dog and hope they cover.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Right.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
You got to think have a good chance and went
out right. I see LA winning this game tonight, so
I like them as well. And one thing I'll point
out real quick prayers about that net rating I mentioned.
If you look over the last fifteen games of the
regular season, the Clippers had the best net rating in
the NBA, ahead of even OKC, and they're the number
one offensive efficiency team and the number three defensive efficiency
team over the final month of the regular season. They're
(33:20):
playing excellent basketball right now. Now, the Nuggets have played
better since firing Malone and the general manager exactly two
weeks ago, so they've also played better ball. But I
think the Clippers are a better team overall, and they
get this pivotal game three tonight.
Speaker 4 (33:32):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
Steve Merrill outstanding stuff. One of the most listened to
and watched experts we have over at wager talkin there's
a reason for that. Check him out on his own
NBA short video every day, right yeah.
Speaker 7 (33:48):
Right now, just click another reason to click subscribe and
click that bell here a wager talk TV because I'm
getting every game every day for the NBA Playoffs out
for the next two months. And if you're finding it useful,
up like positive comments below and we will keep these
videos coming free right here on wager Talk TV.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Yes, sir, guys, real quick, I just got a slacked.
That's what we use internally. I got slacked to promo
to give out. I was bragging.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
I was bragging about how much money I'm making with
my clients, and that office was like, yo, prayers. If
you're gonna brag, tell them to buy your month. So
by my month, thirty days of my NBA and NHL
only one hundred and ninety five dollars, so you get
them both. So it's basically buy one, get the other free.
(34:34):
One hundred and ninety five bucks. My NBA and my
NHL playoffs, and I'm telling you, nobody, nobody is beating
me in those two sports combined since January.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Nobody. And it's not even close anyway.
Speaker 1 (34:49):
Dave Mason joining us, Dave wrestle Mania, Dude, how frecking
big was wrestle Mania for you guys?
Speaker 8 (35:00):
Hey, Prez, thanks for having me. Good to see this week.
Speaker 4 (35:04):
It was big, man.
Speaker 8 (35:04):
I mean, it's just one of those things too, that
we just.
Speaker 9 (35:07):
Just put up for a you know, for the heck
of it, and I get a few bets here and there.
Now it's like we still keep the limits somewhat small,
like a fifty to hundred bucks, but uh, the bet
count I mean, holy hell, like more people are betting
on that than make major gains of that day as
far as bet counts aren't concerned.
Speaker 8 (35:27):
So you know, people just love to have that little
little taste, you know.
Speaker 9 (35:31):
Again, it's something we can't get too ballsy with for
obvious reasons.
Speaker 8 (35:35):
But uh, but people liked a little bit money on it,
and as usual, we lost. We lost a little bit.
It wasn't too much, but we lost. The events like
that we usually do lose on.
Speaker 9 (35:44):
But uh, it's fun though, you know, and our clients
love it, so we don't mind giving back a little
bit here and there on an event like that.
Speaker 1 (35:53):
Yeah, I have I have not watched WrestleMania yet, and
that yet might might be forever. The Pope tell us
what's going on with the uh the Pontiff of the
pontification for the Pontiff.
Speaker 9 (36:11):
All right, man, the Pope, right, we have oys on that.
You're already hitting into the good stuff. Screw the playoffs
and all that. We're going into the Yeah, WrestleMania, the Pope.
Speaker 8 (36:24):
Yeah, man, this is another another market that people love.
The bet man, it's uh, what do we got here?
Speaker 9 (36:31):
We put up odds on who's going to be the
next Pope and uh Luis Antonio Taggo and if I
butcher any names, I apologize the two to one favorite
Pietro Peroling plus two seventy then adopts that sound of
Peter airdu at uh plus seven fifty and so on
so forth.
Speaker 8 (36:51):
Yeah, we have a few dozen guys.
Speaker 9 (36:56):
Offered our biggest liability as Jean Mark Abilene at fourteen
to one, and then the favorite tagle is also liability.
Speaker 8 (37:06):
So yeah, man, this disc gets bad. Everything gets bad,
don't matter what the hell we on the website be.
That's what we're all about. Man, we love the action,
right well whatever?
Speaker 4 (37:15):
Yeah, so where are we at on the Canadian election?
How are those going? Oh?
Speaker 8 (37:19):
Man, I haven't even looked I got to pull that
up now. Uh, let me get back to that one.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
As I pulled up, Hey, what what do you come
on this show thinking I'm going to ask you about
the NBA?
Speaker 9 (37:30):
Bro? Yeah right, you threw me a couple of curve
balls here early, man, look good thing. I was looking
at a couple of those markets last weekend and right now.
But the Canadian election I have not looked at. So
I had to pull up all that stuff. Go on
to the next one and I'll pull that up.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
So yeah, blocked blocked rights. I thought it was illegal
to bet on the next pope?
Speaker 9 (37:52):
What?
Speaker 6 (37:53):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (37:53):
Illegal by who?
Speaker 2 (37:55):
I mean?
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Maybe DraftKings and FanDuel can't take pope bets, but no,
I don't give no rats schmuckety poo poo on all
of the American laws. And as far as the the uh,
the the sea what is it the Red Sea what?
Speaker 4 (38:13):
I don't remember what the Vatican calls themselves.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
But as far as their rules, I don't think Better
Life cares about their rules either. So yeah, the term
illegal has no relevance to this conversation, right pretty much, Dave,
you don't care, right, I mean, let's be.
Speaker 9 (38:33):
You know, the stuff we stay away from stuff that,
you know, death, all that kind of stuff, right, I mean,
it's it's like, and I always say, some people think
it's off colored all for those odds or whatever, even WrestleMania,
how can you get scripted? How can you offer I
always tell people you don't want to bet it, don't
bet it, you know, if you don't like it.
Speaker 8 (38:54):
And I think that goes in a lot of things.
And like everybody just loves to bitch these days about everything.
It's like it's like if I don't like something, ignore it.
Speaker 9 (39:02):
If you don't like the pope odds, ignore them, you
know what I mean, So whatever, we'll put them up there.
And you know, there's a lot of rest of the
world books, not just us located down here where we are,
but a lot of European books that offer that. So
you know, whether uh, brick and mortars up up or
whatever up up the north of the border can't offer
(39:23):
and I don't know.
Speaker 8 (39:24):
I'm sure one day they will, but you know we can.
We're a rest of the world book.
Speaker 4 (39:30):
Yeah, Uh, what the hell is that? Forget Dan Alex.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
Let's get at the NBA, dude, three games going today,
four games in NHL will go there. Next, where's all
the money going in NBA on the NBA games tonight?
Speaker 8 (39:46):
Yeah, as far as sharp is concerned, I'll do that first.
Speaker 9 (39:50):
Okay, c minus eight and a half, Pistons plus one
and a half, Clippers minus five are better. As far
as total is concerned, Let's see the Thunder. Most of
the money's on a Thunder, about fifty eight percent of cash.
Then then the Knicks big, I mean, Nick, we're gonna
(40:11):
need Pistons big tonight about oh shoot, about seventy three
percent of the cash is on a Knicks and then
Nuggets Clippers. At that overall cash is pretty close to
fifty to fifty.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
And NHL four games tonight, lot seems like a lot
of money is coming in on the Ottawa Senators. That
feels like looking at the lines, the biggest move Florida
and Tapa Bay is held firm, and we're seeing pretty
close to equal money. Bet on Vegas Mini and Winnipeg
Saint Louis. Any bets for us sharp stuff?
Speaker 8 (40:45):
Yes, Senators minus one seventeen that got hit. What are
they now?
Speaker 9 (40:49):
They're minus one twenty eight Vegas minus one and a
half plus one eighty. That's now minus one and a
half plus one sixty five. That's some of the sharper stuff.
As far as overall cash, h Yeah, the Senators, it's
it's about sixty seven percent of cash is on them
again currently minus one twenty eight Vegas, Golden Knights.
Speaker 8 (41:09):
I mean they're getting pounded at that shoot.
Speaker 9 (41:12):
That's about eighty three percent of cash on the Golden Knights,
minus one sixty one Jets Blues. Not a lot of
overall cash yet. So I did anything I'd say there
would kind of, you know, be misleading. But the other
games are getting good, great, great.
Speaker 4 (41:27):
Action, brilliant stuff. What do you got to promote?
Speaker 8 (41:31):
What do I have to promote?
Speaker 4 (41:32):
Well?
Speaker 9 (41:32):
NFL drafts tonight Man at the biggest pain in the
ass and then bookmaking.
Speaker 8 (41:38):
It's such a pain. But as an NFL junkie know,
we love it.
Speaker 9 (41:42):
We have a couple of contests that's twenty thousand dollars
worth of cash up for grabs. It with ten thousand
dollars NFL Mini Mock Draft and a ten thousand dollars
NFL Props predictor. So get on over to bed online
dot ag and hit up the contest page, enter those
and then.
Speaker 8 (41:57):
Bet the draft.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
There you go, Do you out a draft bet for us?
Speaker 7 (42:01):
Now?
Speaker 9 (42:02):
I mean I bet stuff, but all the numbers are
all gone and everything, So I bet some stuff early.
Speaker 8 (42:07):
I got the better part of number on some and
not not that's so great on the others.
Speaker 9 (42:11):
But I mean those numbers fly, man, It's it. It's
hard to keep up. I mean, new one of those events.
We just hope we cross our fingers and we hope
we break even.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
There we go, Dave Mason bet online. We're lucky to
have him. Kyle Anthony still to come. I want to
shout out I forgot the names here, Jonathan and Cody,
both of you guys just purchased my full one month
NHL and NBA. You get it for one hundred and
(42:40):
ninety nine dollars ninety five dollars. Both you guys are
ready purchased it. We just put it up like ten
minutes ago.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
So thank you so much. Love Kyle Anthony talk about love,
how the women.
Speaker 9 (42:54):
Good?
Speaker 7 (42:54):
Good?
Speaker 4 (42:55):
It's been.
Speaker 2 (42:55):
Uh, it's been a solid run. I appreciate you bringing
that up.
Speaker 1 (42:58):
Yeah, it always is. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
I've asked Kyle to share so many times. He did share.
One pick, He shared a pick one pick.
Speaker 6 (43:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because the one time I did talk
to you about about something on the side, it was
the first thing you brought up on the show.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
So I gotta I gotta gotta watch myself around you.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
I gotta watch Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
We all have to watch our I'll tell you though, Kyle,
I accidentally facetimed Dan and my wife saw him. So yeah, yeah,
my wife is extremely attracted to Dan, our producer.
Speaker 4 (43:40):
How do I deal with that?
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Loo?
Speaker 2 (43:42):
Yeah, you got you have too much coming at you now.
You know you got too much coming at you now.
Speaker 4 (43:47):
Good thing.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
She hasn't seen Mark Zeno anyway. Oh, because she likes
she likes the big guys, you know, not me. Dude,
I can't. I'm not one of those that can hold
him up against the wall. Okay, what has happened into
our show? Give us some UFC bets please, we're.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
Going off the rails here, all right.
Speaker 6 (44:06):
So I do have a first one to talk about
is Min Yang Zang minus five twenty and the comeback
you've got Anthony Smith. He is plus three ninety. Now,
this feels like an absolute smash spot for Min yang Zang,
and obviously that's what the line is indicating at this
point here. You look at this here and the first thing,
the big red flag on the Anthony Smith side is
(44:26):
the fact that he's on his retirement fight.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
This is, you know, really the end of his career.
Speaker 9 (44:30):
Here.
Speaker 6 (44:30):
He's thirty six years old, he's probably fifty six years old,
and you're talking about mma.
Speaker 4 (44:34):
Mileage that he has had.
Speaker 6 (44:36):
And now on the flip side here, you've got Min
yang Zang, who is absolutely a guy that the UFC
wants to build up. You know, he's Chinese, that is
a big market that they want to continually stay involved in,
big viewership, and he's also now the co main event
in this spot here. And the big thing about Zang
is he is an absolute finisher. He's got eighteen victories,
all of them have come inside the distance, one hundred
(44:58):
percent finish rate. And out of those eighteen victories, twelve
by knockout, six by submission, and all of them coming
in round one. So this guy will go out there
and get the job done early. Now, the way that
I'm looking at this is that Anthony Smith he just
does not really absorb shots very well. You know, he's
a guy that once things start getting tough, he's starting
to turtle up a little bit. He's starting to shell
(45:18):
up with Zang, who's coming forward with the big power,
and I don't think it's gonna have any respect for Smith.
I think Smith, who does not have much power at all,
I don't think he's going to really do much on
the feed. I think Dang is gonna come forward land
big shots. And you've also got Smith who's thirty seven
and twenty one as a professional, he's been knocked out
ten times. The durability is really starting to deteriorate here,
(45:39):
all declining, and really the only way that Smith has
any type of success here is looking for takedowns, and
that's not anything that he historically does. He averages less
than half a takedown per fifteen minutes. So this fight
is going to play out on the feet, and I
think Zany's gonna land some brutal shots early and getting
off that big minus five to twenty number you can
get Zang by knockout inside the first two rounds is
(46:03):
a round minus one forty five, minus one fifty. I
think that is a fantastic price. This is the end
of Smith, and I do think that it does end
brutally in favor of Zang Kyle.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
And today you got another one.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
You got another one.
Speaker 6 (46:17):
Come on, I got another one for you, all right,
So we got we got Randy Brice, we have Randy Brown.
We have Randy Brown here. He is minus two thirty five.
And the comeback we have Nicholas Dalby. He is plus
one ninety five. Now, the reason why Brown is the
favorite here is because now Dalby is a forty year old.
Obviously that's not a good sign when you're looking at
(46:38):
age wise. We're just talking about Anthony Smith. But also
you've got you know, Brown, who has a four inch
each advantage. He's gonna be better on the feet, he's
gonna be better at range. And there are those things
that he does do well, which still at minus two
thirty five, this line is I think very prohibitive at
this point here, and really most of Brown's wins are
very small margins. I mean, he is just eking out
(46:59):
some decisions. He's getting these victories, but just eking them out.
And I think the style at which Dalby fights, he's
really gonna be giving Brown a ton of problems here
as he moves forward.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
And that's the thing really with Brown.
Speaker 6 (47:11):
He wants space, he wants to utilize his reach, he
wants to utilize, you know, his footwork, and Dalby's gonna
crash the pocket. He's gonna come forward, He's not gonna stop.
He weaponizes his cardio very well. And really I think
it's gonna be like a rinse and repeat here. He's
gonna push forward, get him up against the fence, probably
bully Brown a little bit, hold him up against the fence,
(47:32):
take him down. If Brown gets up, he's gonna stay
latched on. He's got incredible cardio. He's gonna keep doing that,
and I think that's gonna cause a lot of problems here.
And then also you look at the fact that Brown,
you know, his last loss really was in that manner.
He pretty much you know, was against Brian Battle. He
was landing good shots early and then as the fight
was going on, Battle said forget it, let me just
(47:52):
hold you up against the fence and just pretty much
cage push for the fight.
Speaker 2 (47:56):
And that's what he did and it worked out he
got the decision victory.
Speaker 6 (47:59):
I do think this is really what Dalby's gonna do,
and I think he does it actually better than Brian
Battle does. So you're talking about a plus one ninety
price tag here, I think this should be much closer.
I think there's a pack here that Dalby can actually
go out there and get the job done. So I
don't think it's going to be a flashy victory, but
I think he'll win positionally and bank rounds.
Speaker 2 (48:20):
And get the job done.
Speaker 4 (48:22):
What do you have to promote?
Speaker 2 (48:25):
So we were actually coming off UFC three fourteen.
