Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Accountability for prosecutors and judges. Now, now, New York City,
you had a Ramon Rivera. Yes, he was a serial
call him a serial criminal madman. I was arrested. He

(00:37):
killed three people randomly in New York City, Manhattan stabbing spree.
Let's take a look at Ramone's rap sheet here. Arrested
eight times in New York, also many times in Ohio
and Florida as well. He was at Rikers Island earlier

(01:00):
this year. He's several burglary and assault convictions. I was
released a month ago. Uh same day he was released,
he was arrested again that very day for theft. Instead
of throwing him back in prison, New York prosecutors sought

(01:21):
bail instead and a judge granted it. This is this
is what's going on in our country. And again you've
got Alvin Bragg going after Donald Trump for nonsense. You've
got what uh uh you know misdemeanor's turned into felonies.

(01:44):
Let yet they let criminals, criminals go. I don't know
what needs to be changed again, I don't know how
the levers of this works as far as the federal
government is concerned working with state governments. But prosecutors and
judges need to be held accountable, need to be held

(02:08):
to count. How is it? I don't understand this. Somebody
want to explain this to me. How there's not a
single media outlet going out and finding the prosecutors in
this case and putting a microphone in front of them. Oh,
because these prosecutors will have a wonderful freaking time when
they want to arrest somebody and hold a purp walk
with some big, big roll to do person, or they

(02:31):
want to go after Giuliani or whatever it may be.
Why don't we purp walk the prosecutors and judges that
fed up again and again and again and continue to
put violent criminals back on the street. Now. I don't
know what's up with Ramon Vere. I don't know if
he needs to be institutionalizing a mental health issues. We

(02:53):
all know that's a problem as well. You don't put
them back on the street just killed three people for
crying out loud? Where the hell are you? Media? Have
you know balls at all? You're not gonna go, and
you're gonna find out who the prosecutors, who the judges
are in this case.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
You're not gonna get a microphone in front of them.
You could damnage them, that could hurt them. They just
freaking got three people killed. They did, They got three
people killed. They let the crazy person go.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
If I order a handgun, if I walked in, if
I walked into an elementary school and left a handgun
there in a kindergarten classroom and a kid picked it
up and used it and kill people, would I be responsible?

(03:48):
Damn right? I should be held responsible for that. Should
you not be held responsible for this? Just saying watchdog
