Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Politics Where Stupid Pays. Yeah, long time listeners here in
the program know my disdain for politicians. You know the
old line hunt for right October. You know, politician means
I'm a cheating liar. I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing

(00:37):
their lollipops or grifting on the latest fad that the
public thinks is a great idea. The we It's gonna
go down in history, one of the greatest financial frauds
in the history of the planet. This whole climate disaster.
And I miss I miss rush Limbaugh's program, I really do.

(01:01):
And man, he had a great time making fun of
all the climate nonsense. I mean he had that clock
on his website with like Al Gore breathing fire. It
was like a countdown to like climate arm again. You
can go on I watch the videos and according to
Dan Rather, you know, I should be underwater right now
where I'm sitting in the state of Florida, one lie

(01:25):
after another after another. How many hurricanes were we supposed
to get this year? I don't know, like they can
tell when there's going to be a hurricane. But again,
politics is where stupid pace is it. Really, it's stupid
in the sense that the people elect we the people,
you know, dumb as a box rocks, okay, buy in

(01:46):
to their bs and vote along with it. It was
a story about the governor of the state of New Jersey,
Phil Murphy. This guy's a Goldman Sachs guy. It riched
him and he went all in on wind in state
of New Jersey and some of the things that he

(02:09):
put out. I mean, just Jersey used to export energy.
Now they are a net importer. Because of everything he
did that the price of electricity in the state of
Jersey has skyrocket. He set a goal of achieving one
clean energy by twenty fifty and then he said, no,

(02:29):
we're going to make it twenty thirty five. Again, horrible
for the residents of New Jersey. You know, people vote
for this stuff and they don't want to admit that
they're wrong, and they continue to believe the lie because
it makes them feel good about themselves. You know, maybe
they can post something on their social media just how

(02:52):
how benevolent they are and wonderful they like windmills and
solar which doesn't pay. But the people who laugh all
the way to the bank are the people that are
behind this. If you don't think that Phil Murphy got
fat checks from the various different companies that are behind
all of this nonsense, he did. He did absolutely again.

(03:14):
It's like you know Obama and his whole gang with
the American of course, it called American Investment Reinvestment Act
that he put together with an absolute freaking disaster for
the country, and then he got the whole Inflation Reduction
Act underbind. It's one thing after another. There's a lot
of grift that's involved that never works. We pay goes

(03:36):
into their pockets again politics, Okay, stupidity pays here in
this country. Who is it paying? Yeah, the politicians watchdog
onmall Street dot com.
