Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Oh this is awesome, awesome baby, As Dick Vital would say,
Doge canceling the consultants is baby. Doze is canceling their
accenture contracts. What you want to talk about government waste?
We spend will you? And I spend over a billion

(00:36):
dollars on accenture consultants, not even how much mackenzie gets.
I'm sure they're getting some cake too, because all these
groups skin they're part accenture business consultants. McKenzie. They're all
part of the big freaking club, an Amanda, I liken
them to know, show jobs, you leave it to Wall
Street and you leave it to these consultants accentua McKenzie,

(00:59):
they were canned in hand. What about there's so many
stupid you know, you'll see something, a CEO do something
and you'll say this off that looks really really stupid.
But well they're the CEOs. They're going to be smarter
than me. Wrong, wrong. That that's again that's a bit
of a lie. I've met plenty of CEOs in my day,

(01:21):
and many of them are well, they were really good
at climbing the corporate ladder. Now, one of the things
about CEOs, okay, and we'll get back to the whole
dose thing the second. Let me lay the groundwork for
you here. One of the things about CEO is if
they didn't start the company, if they didn't build the company,

(01:42):
if they essentially, you know, they found a way to
work their way to the top. McKinsey accenture in Wall Street.
They know, they know that these guys more often than
not have well a bit of a Napoleon complex, and
they can feed into that. And they do, and they

(02:05):
come and all, we're the consultants, and they you know,
we're going to tell you what to do and what's
gonna be great. And they tell them to whether it
be massive mergers, massive expansion, and you can, again you
pitch these guys again. They have their little greed buttons
and their you know, their ego buttons, and that's that's
buttons that they these Wall Street and consultant types press, oh,

(02:27):
you're gonna be huge you're gonna make a great name
for yourself. Look at what you're able to do. Crash
bang boom pow. Wall Street makes a ton of money.
Consultants make a ton of money, and company has to
reorganize because they overexpanded stupid things, man, stupid mergers, whatever
it may be, whatever it may be, it all comes

(02:48):
from these guys, the accenture, the McKinsey and the Wall
Street types. Well, the government why they got hiring consultants
to do what? What did they exactly do? All our
government does is waste money. Basically, these consultant groups McKinsey,

(03:09):
a Centure, Ivy League types. Oh, look at the resume
on that one. People that have never built anything, created anything,
or done anything in their entire life. It's kind of like,
if listen, I don't play golf. I don't play golf,
but it's kind of like I went to Princeton and
I took classes on golf, never actually played, but took

(03:35):
a lot. I majored in golf if that was a thing,
and then I am going to come and be a
golf pro. Never picked up a club, never swung a club, Okay,
but I'm going to be a golf pro because I
got a degree in golf at Princeton. So these guys
are Oh yeah, look at the pedigree. Oh yeah, they're

(03:57):
killers out there. No, no again, they you know, they
serve a purpose. You get politicians when they get thrown
out of office or whatever, they want to retire, they
can they can always land at one of these places.
And they've got con so they can they bring them
into meetings. Oh look at we got former senator here

(04:18):
on our board. We're gonna bring him in. We're gonna
bring this. Oh, they gotta rollodex. They're gonna be able
to help you out. It's just rivers in, rivers and
rivers of bullshit, Okay, rivers of it. And again we're
we're spending money, our tax dollars on these fools. Watchdog
