Politicians cheer, pundits rage, and viral memes celebrate dead “thugs.” But reality is far uglier: cartel mules are often coerced fishermen, the cocaine supply won’t budge, and Washington keeps pretending street-level theatrics equal policy. This segment argues the real endgame isn’t the drug trade at all—it’s paving public consent for regime change in Venezuela. A blunt, uncomfortable breakdown of how political narratives replace real solutions while the drug machine keeps humming.

Speaker 1 (00:00):

and the impact it will have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Drug boats and regime change. Hey, I start off, I
don't know what Pete hag Seth is doing when he again,
I don't know. He's trying to guess, get people going,
getting his base fired up, trying to piss off others.

(00:37):
I'm not one to be flippant, quite honestly, when it
comes to killing people. He put out a thing on
a social media post of you, there's that children's book,
Franklin the Turtle, and he's got Franklin the Turtle killing
killing drug mules. I forget exactly what he put it

(01:00):
out there, but anyway, man, there's a lot of angry,
angry folks out there when it comes to this drug
boat situation, drug mule situation out there, and I get
some of it. I really do. People in this country.

(01:20):
We've and I've again I've talked about it quite often
here about the people being killed over one hundred thousand
a year. I get it. Yeah, A lot of people
have been affected by this. I got actually got a

(01:42):
couple emails and people some people actually understanding what I'm
what I'm getting at, others not so much. Here's one,
do you really think the administration would be blowing up
these fast boats in the Caribbean if they weren't carrying drugs?
Which seems to be what you were saying. We don't
know the intelligibilities to pinpoint these people on the boats,

(02:03):
and we don't know if there was an ability to
rescue the people in the water quickly, if they were
still alive. I lose no sleep over two dead thugs
who are part of the apparatus that has killed more Americans,
including sons of clients and friends in World War two,
Korean Vietnam. Okay, first and foremost, First and foremost, do

(02:27):
you think that blowing up these boats is doing anything
at all? Anything at all? And this is these are
cocaine boats, They're not fentanel boats. Okay, anything at all
to put the slightest dent and the amount of drugs

(02:48):
flowing to the United States. I mean, honestly, I'm just
it's an honest question. Do you think it's doing a
damn thing. I don't. I don't again, blowing up, But

(03:09):
we've been we've been blowing up boats. When I'm blowing
up boats, stopping boats, stopping I mean again, usually you know,
the police and the DEA, what they like to do
is they like to have a drug bust and then
they like to put the cocaine on the table. Is
it actually getting to the people that are involved. I'm

(03:33):
a big fan of the television series. One of the
greatest of all time in my opinion, was The Wire.
But the drug trade and the issues in Baltimore, and
you know, you see that the people up at the
top eventually getting impatient, impatient politics, politics. You know, they're

(03:53):
trying to build a big case, trying to build a
big case, get to the people that are actually involved,
the titians that are involved, the money, where the money
is going, how it's being laundered. But then no, no,
we got to put some drugs on the table. We
gotta we gotta show force. And then they blow their
entire case. Dead thugs, two dead thugs who are part

(04:18):
of the apparatus that has killed more Americans. You think
that these people that are transporting these drugs, you think
that they are like higher ups in these cartels. They're
not here. Here's a bit of a newsflash that you're
not hearing on Fox News or anybody else for that matter.

(04:44):
What these cartels do. What these cartels do very simply
is they go to people and they demand their services.
Oh you're a fisherman, are you?

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Guess what that boat? Nice family you got there, beautiful
family got that beautiful wife. Wouldn't want anything to happen
to her. Let me tell you what you're going to
do for us. That's what a drug mule is. Well,
you think that these are highly paid enforcers of drug cartels.

(05:24):
Why would why would any uh cartel? Why would any
would be Pablo Escobar risk their top guys doing anything
like this knowing that the United States is shooting at
these boats. They keep the boats going. They got plenty
of people that they can take advantage of. Do you
have any idea of the type of evil? Have you

(05:48):
read about the types of things that they do? I
get into it, the dropping people, an ascid to hang
in people from bridges. Do have any idea? Very simple? Okay,
do you want to do? You want to know what
we will do to your children? Unless you do this

(06:13):
blowing up a drug boat, golf clap. Okay again, did
you think that? Do you think that if I go
down to a bad neighborhood somewhere, do you think if
I go down there and I round up and I'm
not saying you should round up the street dealers, you

(06:34):
think that you're really making a dent in the actual problem. Yeah,
thinking about this. I was thinking about this in terms
of The Godfather is that there's scene in The godfathers

(06:55):
is after Michael gets his jaw busted and he come
to the house. He shows up at the house and
finds out that the uh, Sonny put a hit out
on Brunotia Sonny put and they're coming in and Sonny's
all happy because she killed Bruno, Talia and tom Hagen.

(07:19):
Tom Hagen. The she's more thoughtful, Okay, the more thoughtful one.
You know. It's basically, you know these little ups. You know,
what are we gonna do? We're trying to solve this problem.
You know that not in the whole conversation about personal
versus business, would Sonny say I got one hundred button

(07:39):
men out in the street that Turk shows a hair
on his ass. Probably you know, something like that. But anyway,
and then they're they're they're sitting around and Michael convinces.
Michael convinced and say, you know what, we're gonna We're
gonna take out We're gonna take out the police Captain,
We're gonna take out Salts and that's gonna be it.
And then they're sitting around and they're having food and

(07:59):
in there, Uh Testio comes back, says that is uh
or just Testio come in, I can't remember exactly. There,
get their little you know, safe people there and they're
playing pe knuckle together and they find out that the
spot is going to be at you know, Louis in
the Bronx. But anyway, Uh, Sonny comes up with the statement,

(08:22):
and again it comes to a statement. He said, why
don't we just, you know, why don't we just blow
up the car, you know, shoot the car at some
point take the car out, Tom Hagen Slatsu might not
even be in the car. Sonny, Uh, it could be
me calling me crazy here? Could we be call me
crazy if I'm really if I'm really serious about going

(08:49):
after drug cartels, and I think we should be I've
been saying this for some time. Okay, but we're not. Okay,
and I'll get to that. And it is this is
you're being gaslit by the Trump administrator. There's nothing to
do with freaking drugs. Man, You kidding me? Okay? If

(09:10):
you were really serious about doing you know where these
can you freaking you drone attack them for crying out loud?
Take out where they live for crying out. You're taking
out these low leveled bikers, not even that they're probably
fathers who are protecting their families from being killed. I
would want information, as much information as I can possibly get.

(09:34):
Whether you can get it from these people, I don't know. Hey,
I could be wrong. Maybe they are thugs. But would
it hurt to ask? Would it hurt you? I mean again,
you're trying to put a stop to something here, right
Are you putting a stop to it? No? No, you're

(09:56):
you're a speed bump right now. That's all your speed bump,
not doing a damn thing. What this is about, In
my humble opinion, this is about regime change. It's about
regime change, you know. I think this is one of

(10:18):
the things, Like Trump was trying to build his case
he wants to take Maduro out in Venezuela. And this
is one of his ways of making it okay, one
of his ways of making that happen. And again, you
got are the people in Washington wanting this. Here's Representative

(10:38):
Maria Salazar from Miami, and I's someone I happen to
agree with on her ideas when it comes to immigration.
This another regime change war. Not so sure, She says.
Maduro is a last wall between tyranny and a free Venezuela.
Once he falls, a nation will finally breathe again. Nearly
eight million Venezuelans are waiting for that day, ready to

(11:01):
return home, rebuild their country, and turn it into a
beacon of liberty for the entire hemisphere. Again, Trump gave
some sort of ultimatum to Maduro. Could be me, call
me crazy, but I've seen this movie before. Wait, wait

(11:22):
a second, where did I hear that before? Yeah, we'll
be greeted as liberators. It's gonna be. It's gonna be over,
lickety split. It's gonna be over in a few weeks.
Nor worry you're freeing the oppressed people of Venezuela because
we hate dictators. Let me ask you a question, by

(11:47):
people again, if Trump on the campaign trail, talked about
a regime change war in Venezuela. Would you have been
on board? Straight up, would you have been on board if,

(12:08):
back running against Joe Biden, Trump was pushing for a
regime change war in Afghanistan? I mean in Venezuela. Listen, people,
our track record not very good, is it? Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya.

(12:38):
We took out the wealthiest country in Africa, per Cappin,
we wrecked it. We wrecked the wealthiest country in Africa, Libya.
Thanks Hillary and Obama on that one. This one's going
to be different. This one's going to go swimmingly. Okay, okay,

(13:02):
but honestly okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I have email exchanges.
See so many people. Are you a little smarter than this? Okay?
If you honestly think that this is just about drug boats,
and if you think that targeting these drug boats is
going to make a damn debt in it, you want
to you want to do something, You want to come
up a plan to do something, you want to go

(13:22):
into you I don't do shit. I don't do regime
change in Mexico. But you think I give a damn
if you bomb the hell out of some of these
drug compounds in Mexico. I don't care, but that ain't
gonna happen. That's gonna happen. Why Because there's too many people.
There's too much people making money off the drug trade
here in the United States. What do you think their

(13:43):
money doesn't go into the banking system. You don't think
it finances all sorts of projects are crying out loud,
it does. This is a show man, and you're smarter
than that to actually realize this. This is a show.
This is not getting anything done. This is a damn joke,

(14:04):
is what this is. And it insults my intelligence quite frankly. Yeah,
real putting a stop to the drinking drug trade. The
why they're still sending boats for they know they're going
to be targeted. I tell you why they're sending boats
because they don't give a damn it. The people that
are driving the damn boats and whether there's plenty more
cocaine to be had can prove me wrong. Watchdog on
