here in the United States, and Republicans are failing. I
want to take everybody back in time. This is about
two thousand and eight. Ram Emmanuel was Barack Obama's chief
of staff and he said the line is never let

a serious crisis go to waste. And that was the
Great Recession. And what Ram Emmanuel was talking about ushered
in all sorts of big government Democrat projects, the program
and all the American and Reinvestment Act. You go right

on down list, taking over student loans, one left thing
after another. Okay. Ram Emmanuel was basically Obama's brain back
in the day, and that they put forth a lot
of left wing policies. They were very very good at that.

(01:22):
Here we have a government shut down, a crisis. We
have Obamacare, which has been an absolute disaster both sides
of the Aisle. No, it's a disaster. Okay, find somebody
that actually likes their healthcare. Find somebody. And what are

Republicans doing? Nothing? Democrats don't have anything. Democrats are just
calling for throwing more money at it. I watched that.
Watch Jared Bernstein. Remember Jared Bernstein, he was the head
of Biden's Council of Economic Advisors. I don't know if
you remember. He couldn't even explain how the how our

government functions when it comes to printing money and bond issuance. Yeah,
you don't believe it, Go look it up because Google
Jared Bernstein bonds and watched the video. We played it
a couple of years ago here on the show. Jared Bernstein.
Who again, this is what happens when you work in government.

(02:29):
You get some bs cushy job. Yeah, he's he's actually
an adjunct professor at Stanford in linguistics. But that's okay.
You can look at his resume and see actually what
he studied in college. Anyway, neither here nor there. Okay,
huge opportunity going by the wayside. Right now. You got

healthcare executives, you got people in government jumping up and
down shouting we need subsidies need more money. Understand that
independent surgeons out there are laughing. Eliminate all this so
we could do the same surgery that we have to
pay these ridiculous well you know they're charging ridiculous sums

for because of all the administration for sixty percent less
with a thirty percent margin.

Yeah.

Yeah, the reality is right now. Once everybody pulled the
current back, you have to take a look and see
what's going on. I think that that's what a lot
of people are scared of. They're going to see how
much money has actually been taken and stolen and not
spent on healthcare. The free market works every single time
it's tried. I'm going to give everybody example of this

because sometimes I get pushed back for people that don't
trust the free market. Is what is a free market
when it comes to healthcare here in the United States?
Lasik think about that Lasik surgery can use to get
better and better. The technology continues to improve, and it's

(04:08):
getting cheaper and cheaper. Plastic surgery, same thing, elective plastic surgery,
anything that is outside outside of subsidies insurance, It continues
to improve and it gets cheaper. For crying out loud.

(04:31):
What's their name there, Christy, I don't know. It's Kim
Kardashian's mom. She almost looks about the age of her
daughter at this point and time. Okay, have you've seen
Lindsay Lohan? I mean they don't even look like the
you know, the old days. I mean for crying out loud,
the stuff that they're doing, and the price continues to drop.

This this is what could be done. However, however, and
I'm gonna point this out. I pointed it out before
going to point it out again. The powers that be
within the Republican Party, they are full of crap. They
lie to you when it's all politicians again, it is
that line from the Hunt for Red October. Okay, I'm

a politician. It means I'm a cheat and a liar.
And if I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops.
That's who these people are. They want their checks, They
want their checks from insurance companies, they want their checks
from the big hospital groups that are existing. It's a disaster, okay,

and nobody wants to fix it. Huge opportunity, huge opportunity
to lower health care costs, to go back to go
to a free market system here in the United States.
And what are the Republicans doing nothing zip zero zero
holding a vote every single day to reopen the government,

(05:58):
which they know is not going to happen until there's
ridiculous rally, no Kings rally happens this week again, You've
