Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it will have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yep, but it never ends. The Boeing grift just gets worse.
We just did a podcast recently on the new Trump
Fighter jet and they gave the contract to Boeing. And
we've gone after Boeing for some time. I don't know
how or why they deserve this contract based upon their
record and what they've been doing. I mean, they can't
finish Air Force one, they can't get commercial jets into
(00:38):
the sky. Then we've pointed that out and how far
Boeing has fallen. Again, Boeing is too big to fail.
In case you haven't been paying attention, deep State loves Boeing.
They love it because it's a great place to give
people that are a part of the big club, the
Deep State jobs, no show jobs. You don't have to
do a damn thing. Anyway. I didn't even I didn't
(01:01):
even think about this, and I was alerted to this
today by Jeremy Portnoy. Boeing Boeing. Again they failed. They
were the ones that were supposed to bring the astronauts home, right.
They got six point four billion dollars in contracts from
NASA six point four billion. The only only cal Tech,
(01:29):
which manages NASA's Propulsion Lab, received more money than Boeing.
Boeing's star Liner spacecraft. They had a thruster malfunction again
left the astronauts up in space. This happened last June.
Elon Musk just went up and saved him. NASA's Inspector
(01:50):
General released an audit of Boeing's Exploration Upper Stage Launch System,
which is a project unrelated to star Liner, but one
that shows some of the deeper problems within Boeing. The
audit found quality control issues with Boeing's work attributed to
(02:11):
the lack of a sufficient number of trained and experienced
aerospace workers at Boeing. Yeah, you might need them. You
might need the experienced aerospace workers rather than some retired
military brass sitting at a desk all day long, picking
(02:32):
their nose or picking their ass and playing video games
or downloading porn. I'm just saying you might want to
have some aerospace engineers there. You can tell them a
little bit. I rate today, Yeah, a little bit. The
Defense Contract Management Agency issued seventy one corrective action requests
(02:55):
to Boeing, asking the company to fix its quality control problems.
The company was non responsive in taking corrective actions. The
audit found that it's part of the Artemis Artemis for mission,
which is supposed to take us back to the Moon.
(03:16):
Oh that's six years behind schedule and one point eight
billion dollars over budget. It's now supposed to cost two
point eight billion. The Inspector General recommended that NASA work
with Boeing to create a training program for the company's
employees and give Boeing financial penalties for not meeting quality
(03:36):
control standards. Uh huh, uh huh. Do you think any
of that, any of that went into play? No, no, again.
They just got awarded a fifty billion dollar contract to
build a fighter jet. Are you kidning here? They just
(04:01):
got fifty fifty another fifty billion dollars to develop a
fight at check. I don't know what the hell Trump's
thinking about. Sometimes I really don't watch Dog on Wallstreet
