song by Elo Showdown from the movie Kingpin. Headed for
a showdown anyway? Uh, yeah, yeah, we've seen this horrific
movie before. Why is it horrific? It's a movie about nothing.

I mean, Seinfeld was a show about nothing, but at
least it was funny and interesting. This is the same
damn thing over and over and over. Oh, shutout, it's
gonna be brain bread Republicans, you're gonna shut down. It's
gonna be brained on Democrats. Oh my god, everything is
gonna fall apart. Listen, if you're a government worker, you
are rooting for a government shut down. Yeah, why don't

make a difference. They'll eventually end the shutdown. You won't
work for a period of time, then you will get
back pay. So it's basically a free vacation for good workers.
You all know it, and it's all bs okay, Why
is it a bad movie? Nothing is ever accomplished, cuts

are not made. It's a big show. Now, why is
this looming government shut down important? You know, they want
to they want to push this, they want to continue spending.
Get this, this is Republicans. We gotta keep the government
open towards the end of November. Hm. Now, guys, what holiday?

What a holiday comes up around the end of November. Oh,
that's right, Thanksgiving, And like clockwork, like clock work, what
will happen is we'll get some big spending package, big
spending package. Republicans are in charge right now. So what

happens will that? You know, they'll stuff all sorts of
pork into Republican districts all over the country. They'll pass
this either the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving or the Friday
after Thanksgiving when no one is paying attention. This is
this is your government. This is how they operate. This

is the fricking n A party that you keep voting for.
Hey I'm a Republican, Hey I'm a Democrat. You're a schmuck.
If you actually believe in any of these parties, they're
going to screw you again. Government's going to get bigger,
Spending is going to go up. Nothing is going to change. Oh,

I know, they're a big, big, big hullabaloo right now.
Are you going to extend all these COVID COVID healthcare benefits,
all this other nonsense? What a joke. If Republicans were
actually the slightest bit serious, they would have gone after
and canceled Obamacare. But we can't even get that done
right now because that's entrenched. Meanwhile, everybody's health insurance has skyrocketed,

gone through the roof. What's funny not making this up? Okay,
this is how little faith and you have a government.
The government right now is basically their numbers are saying
health insurance costs have dropped by twenty percent over the
past five years. Anyone, anyone out there, okay calling on

all of America. Anyone out there whose health insurance costs
have gone down by twenty percent over the past five years.
That's nobody, But according to the government, that's what's happened. Again,
this is what you're voting for. I'm here to tell
you exactly what's going to happen and how we're all

going to be rude. That's right, Okay, mark it down.
They'll come up with something. They will extend spending until
the end of November so they can have another pork
