  • Why he says the UN creates more problems than it solves
  • The “greatest con job ever” of climate change spending
  • How the UN is funding mass migration instead of stopping it

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, Trump being Trump puts on a show at the
United Nations.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Not surprised at all. Listen, I am.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I for years, going back to Trump's first term, I
actually suggested that Trump, being the real estate guy he is,
and understanding that that's a pretty valuable piece of real
estate there, Turtle.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Bay, Manhattan, right there on the water.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
My suggestion to Trump at that time was, it's just,
you know, tell the UN you know what time to go.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Time ago.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
We've been hosting you here long enough. Take the United Nations.
You know what, do a solid for some impoverished countries
which you guys are allas claiming that you.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Want to help. Why don't you set up the UN?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I don't know in darfour, how about Port of Prince
Haiti set up shop there. I think that would be
much much better, and then he could again develop all
that real estate there. Anyway, he was pretty spot on

(01:26):
many of the things that he said. What is the
purpose of the United Nations, He asked, I've always said
the UN has such tremendous, tremendous potential, but it's not
even coming close to living up to that potential.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Peacekeepers.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Not only is the UN not solving the problems it should,
too often's actually creating new problems for us to solve.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Right again, he went as well.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
He went after climate change, which again it's kind of
like their religion. Greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world. Yeah,
we've talked about the trillions of dollars spent to stop
the rise in temperatures, whether or not it's accomplished, anything
hasn't done a damn thing. Also talked about migration, said

(02:24):
the UN is funding an assault on Western countries by
encouraging cross border migration, and twenty twenty four the UN
budgeted three hundred and seventy two million to help more
than six hundred thousand migrants illegally coming into the United States.
The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them,
and not finance them. We think the US needs more

(02:45):
foreign talent to stay prosperous, but European leaders in particular
would be better off of the heat of their voters
anxiety about mass migration.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Again, I could go on a list of things where
he was spot on, spot on. However, again I got why.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
You know, people loved, people on the right loved his speech,
and that's Trump being Trump. I just, I just it's
my nature. There's this zero humility and the guy, I
just I don't get it. He was basically talking up
America hottest. He keeps saying that the hottest country in

(03:31):
the world, hottest country, the world, stock market boom being hitting.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
All these various different things. To me, some people like
that stuff. To me, it's it's off putting.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
No. I remember there was Saint talked about this. He said,
you know, we're constantly battling the forces of evil all
the time, and they've got a big time advantage over us.
Again he talked about you know, Satan fall and aims
all this stuff. Team they're they're much smarter, uh than
we are. They can you know, attack us in a

(04:11):
myriad of different ways. The only thing that works against
them is humility. Because again the devil fell Pride calls
his downfall, he does not like humility. And well here
same Francis, the sales the most powerful weapon of conquer.
The devil is humility and he doesn't have it in him. Okay,

(04:34):
he doesn't. He is who he is. Maybe maybe maybe
just change it up, try a different stick.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
Now we seem the stick again and again and again
and again. How about being a little bit humble on
the world stage, understanding, you know, our position where we
are again.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I think that I think that might work.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Again.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I'm not talking about playing Obama up there and kissing
everyone unnecessarily kissing everyone's buttocks. No, no, there's a difference.
You don't have to do that. But at a point
to hottest country in the world, stock mar Yes, you

(05:34):
start talking like that in my you're gonna start losing
people's ears. They're gonna start tuning you out. Anyway, overall,
pretty good, pretty good, uh, pretty much spot on his
assessment of the world as we know it Watchdog on
