Speaker 3 (00:21):
Will?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Ozempic has become pretty popular here in this country with
other somebody these other weight loss drugs as well. As
it turns out, the company that makes ozempic, Novo Nordisk,
is a company that's from Denmark. Denmark owns Greenland. Oh boy,

(00:43):
do you have any idea? Do you you know that
Novo Nordisk's valuation is greater than the entire GDP of Denmark?
Do you have any idea how much Novo Nordis stands
to make if they start covering all of this weight

(01:06):
loss drugs and put it on medicare and medicaid wholely?
Schnikes Now again, I I don't get it. I don't,
I don't get it. I listen, it's pretty expensive drug.

(01:28):
You know. The funny The funny thing is about this
ozempic is that in Denmark, in Denmark, they don't I
mean they don't allow it for their people unless they've
tried a bunch of other things. First, they tell people
before you do, they're gonna before they're gonna cover ozempic.

(01:49):
In Denmark they recommend dietary and behavioral changes first. How
about that? Yeah, again, they're going to restrict access US
until people have tried less expensive medicines to treat diabetes.
The European Union is looking into ozempick for suicidal issues. Again,

(02:11):
I can go on and on and on. I don't
want to argue over ozempic. But if you don't think,
if you don't think that we have some bargaining room
when it comes to ozempic in Greenland, we do, we do,
and this is it is it. Can you name for

(02:33):
me anything that is else that's come out of Europe
at all? And again, you know, Denmark's not stupid. They
know Americans are addicted to drugs. We are, Oh my good.
Look at the commercial on TV.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
The bloody pharmaceutical commercials are almost like the beer ads
back in the nineteen eighties. They were with the late
great Bob you gerl Let's filling taste great? Now the
same thing you got dancing people around, what the hell
is going on. Everybody's happy, happy, joy joy.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Take another drug. I'm stupid, idiot. Americans will buy a
drug looking for a short cut anyway. Anyway, listen again.
I get it for people that are morbidly obese and
need some help because you're dying anyway. Okay, you're dying.

(03:30):
People that are morbidies, they got a myriad of kolmorba.
They're dying. I get it, But you need to take
off ten pounds to go on vacation. Get your lazy
