Chris skewers Donald Trump’s conflicting tweets about the stock market, highlighting a January 2024 tweet claiming credit for market gains due to strong polls, versus an April 2025 tweet blaming Biden for a historic market swoon despite Trump’s presidency. Markowski calls out the absurdity, mocking Fox and Newsmax for bending over backwards to defend Trump. www.watchdogonwallstreet.com

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Trump's tale of two tweets. I have to admit people,
it's a guilty pleasure of mine is tuning in to
give some of the will either be Fox or Newsmax,
some of these other programs out there and watch how
they try to bend themselves over backwards and how to
defend well certain statements or tweets by the President. At

(00:38):
the end of the day, they got to figure this
one out. This was I'm gonna give you a tale
of two tweets. Trump put this tweet out this morning.
This is Biden's stock market, not Trump's. I didn't take
over until January twentieth. Tariffs will student start kicking in.

(01:00):
Companies are starting to move into the USA and record numbers.
Our country will boom. But we have to get rid
of the Biden quote end quote overhang. This will take
a while. Has nothing to do with tariffs, only that
he left us with bad numbers. But when the boom begins,
it will be like no other. Be patient. In all caps.

(01:24):
So Trump is saying that the market swoon, which one
of the worst ever in the history of presidencies, new presidencies.
It's not on him, it's on Joe Biden. But we're
gonna take you back, to take you back. This is

(01:46):
a Donald Trump tweet. Donald Trump tweet from January twenty ninth,
two thousand and four. This is the Trumps stock market
because my polls again Biden are so good that investors
are projecting that I will win and that will drive
the market up. Everything else is terrible. Watch them at least,

(02:09):
and record setting inflation has already taken its toll. Make
America great again. This was in all caps. So let
me get this straight. Let me get this straight. And
again they'll come up with something. They'll come up with
something on the five. Jesse Waters will come up with something.

(02:32):
He'll come up with some sort of so called expert
that will try to make sense out of this. Anyway, Trump,
The market was up back in January of twenty twenty
four because of Trump. He wasn't president. Trump's now president,

(02:54):
and the market's down because of Biden. Makes sense, Yeah,
