The Watchdog on Wall Street podcast explaining the news coming
out of the complex worlds of finance, economics, and politics
and the impact it we'll have on everyday Americans. Author,
investment banker, consumer advocate, analyst, and trader Chris Markowski.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Wow hell a lot of Eyes opened this past weekend
at one of the largest conservative events of the year,
Charlie Kirk's Turning Point us A event, and again I
don't think Charlie was really prepared for the type of
anger that many of the conservatives Conservacy asked to speak.
(00:37):
Libertarians Dave Smithy asked to speak Tucker Carlson as well,
and again their speeches going absolutely viral. First and foremost,
it was almost like that they were taking the transcripts
for my podcast. Some of these guys, I mean, Tucker
Carlson went on a rant that sound almost exactly like
(01:00):
my podcast from Friday, talking about housing and the youth
here in this country and how difficult it is for
them to get ahead. The Epstein situation is not going away. Again.
Cover up is always worse than the you know, they
(01:22):
figured out that the videos that were put out, the
metadata in them shows that it was done through Adobe Photoshop,
so that was completely doctored. And I don't I don't
know what what Trump is up to at this point
in time, but he put out a lengthy, a lengthy
(01:43):
tweet talking about, you know, oh, I don't understand what's
going on with my boys and you know, my people
online and Pam Bondi's doing a fantastic job. And you know,
it's basically you always sounded like, what's her name there
from jan from the Brady Brunch, It's seen Epstein? Epstein?
Why do you keep talking about Epstein? And uh, you know,
(02:05):
towards the end of this, he basically basically blamed the
whole Epstein thing on Obama and Hillary, uh, you know,
saying that they're the ones that that put this whole
thing out. You know, I'm sorry again. You know, at
(02:27):
the turning point USA event, people were actually connecting the
dots as far as intelligence, as far as Israel and
a myriad of other things, and it's it's not it's
not going down. Well, I want to reiterate the point.
I was going to take the Etein stuff and put
(02:47):
it aside because it just makes me sick to my stomach.
Quite frankly, we need as a nation we need as
a nation to fix capitalism. Capitalism works when everyone is
vested the idea out there my book, work time and effort.
(03:10):
You put in the work, time and effort, and you
can get ahead. There's a light at the end of
the tunnel. We have to stop debasing the currency and
printing more money. We have to get the government out
of everything everything, get out of the way, allow businesses
(03:39):
to fail. It's one of the other things I'm going
to be talking about later on this week. We're talking
about regulatory capture, all sorts of other things. Again, we
want the youth to be excited about the future. Again.
What interesting conversations I was having this past weekend. I said,
you know AOC Bernie Sanders, Ma'm Donnie there in New York.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Those you wouldn't even they wouldn't have a shot. They
wouldn't have they didn't wouldn't have a shot back in
the seventies or eighties, not even close. They'd be wackadoo fringers.
They they wouldn't even make the news because they'd be
(04:22):
so irrelevant. And I'm talking about you know, the Carter
even the Carter years. You know, the after effects of
the Vietnam War, No way. Then you bring Reagan no way.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Uh uh socialist the United States, No, okay, they're viable today.
They're making hey today, they have followers today because they
are attacking. They're attacking capitalism. There's no capitalism right now.
(05:01):
It's it's it's a capitalism is a shell of its
former self. We start practicing capitalism here in this country again.
