Speaker 1 (00:26):
Well, hello everybody, and welcome back to Wayfair and Strangers.
As always, I am Jack and joined by my wonderful,
wonderful life partner and co host Andrew.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Trust me.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
So yes, Joel is Yeah, he's the life partner and
co host. I guess ye.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Well there we go.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I was taking a sip of my sltzer.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Well that was your first mistake right there there.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
You know, I know you can't be trusted. It's okay,
so oh my goodness. Yeah yeah that episode last week's
episode was was quite a lot. And by last week,
I mean the episode that came out today. It's very
weird recording. I'm just we're not used to this.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Just say the last episode and then it covers all
of your bases. I know, Time Last and podcasts doesn't exist.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
No, that's not true though, because.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I mean Time Off does. But like you could record
nine episodes in a day and then all you have
to do is say two episodes ago or one episode
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
No, I know, but we have a tendency to talk
about current events on our show.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Well one of us does, yeah for sure. Wow. Wow,
I keep it. I keep it ever green. As the
kids say, yeah, well, you know, what kids don't say
that ninety year old say that.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, I was, I was gonna call y'all on that,
but it's it's just weird. But I find and I
listened to a lot of podcasts where, you know, they
have big deals with you know, Wondery or whatever network
out that is out there. That's pretty much the only
one I know off the top of my head. Sure,
and they have you know, they're contractually bound to have

(02:17):
at least like one to two months worth of episodes
banked just in the event that somebody gets sick or
blah blah blah. So whenever I listen to certain podcasts,
they're always like two to three weeks behind and talking
about shit that Like I remember I was listening to
I'm not going to name the podcast, but drag them. No, no, no, no,

(02:39):
I really like them. I know some people do not
like them. It's not like a canceled podcast or anything
like that. No, fucking absolutely not. No, it's too it's
two it's two women. It's a true crime show, and
it's it's great. But it was like maybe January fifteenth
or something, and they were when they had recorded the episode,

(03:02):
they were like, it's almost Christmas, and I'm like, yeah, see,
this is why, Like, if you're if you know that
you're gonna be three to four episodes ahead, I don't
think you should be celebrating Christmas by the time we
are like two weeks into the new year and like
completely christmassed out, you know what I mean? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Look you gotta you know those parts are easy to
snippy snip too, though, realistically, unless it was like the
major segue into the next thing, and like and speaking
of Christmas, let's talk about somebody who got murdered on
Jesus' birthday. Let's go No, but first, this episode is
brought to you by Squarespace.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Well, h see, I listen on a platform that is
ad free that oh it's a devil platform. I hate it,
but I hate it adds more fun sert. So anyway, yes,
so we are recording, Yeah, a couple episodes in one week,
and it's weird, but I like it.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Look sometimes, that's what That's what I've been I've been
advocating for how good does it feel to be already
done next week? Excuse me, I've been I've been advocating
for it.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
You are the one that's always the problem.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
For at least a decade, I've advocated for be preparedness. Yeah, well,
now have I made good on that education? I have not,
But no, I have advocated nonetheless.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yes, So we managed to pull it off today and
and and this week, and I'm happy. But we have
so many emails to get to and to get through,
and so yes, we already received a reply from Wendell,
who we covered in his email last week on the
Go Birds episode, which I did put that in parentheses,
by the way, Andrew in our in our title, it's

(04:57):
bonus colon listener email's number eighteen parentheses Go Birds.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Wow. So I knew some shenanigans were going to be had.
Ozzie hit me up in the discord and said something
along the lines of like today at work, jump by
Van Halen came on, and I was like, yeah, well,
I'm happy to be associated in any small way with

(05:27):
that banger.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
So all right, I had a really fun time editing
and that in there. And actually Andrew hasn't heard that
part yet because I didn't put it in as No,
I'm not even gonna tell you on our next week
we'll have listened to it and hopefully he enjoyed what happened.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
So there we go. It's exciting.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
But Wendall did reply to our email and we will
read that one shortly. But we're going to go back
to October of twenty twenty four because that's where we
left off with last week, and no, I went first
this past week.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, because it was relevant to your your situation. Yes,
so is y al Tar Is this Jase? Mm hmm
Jase on October twenty fourth, Yes, all right, strap in everyone,
strap in. Jace has some things to say. Jase writes, Hey, guys,
fun fact, every fall I start listing a wayfaring strangers

(06:22):
from the store. Oh lord, okay, that's a lot. That's
a lot of every fall. That's okay.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Oh man, okay, why is that blowing your mind?

Speaker 2 (06:35):
I just what I don't. Is there anything that we
do every fall? Think hard about it without fail.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I always watch Pumpkinhead on Halloween. Every fall.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
I watch Halloween around Halloween. Doesn't have to be on Halloween.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
We do a lot of the same Christmas movies for
the same like every time I'm decorating the Christmas tree,
have to put Christmas vacation on its Winter it's still
it was the same fucking It's about repetition.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I understand. I was thinking, like pumpkins. Maybe I'm trying
to think of sure we missed pumpkins, but maybe not.
Maybe that's a pumpkin pick. Yeah, so just imagine every fall. Yeah,
at at a specific time, we're like, let's go get
the pumpkins, and then somewhere in the world, Jase is

(07:27):
like he presses play on episode one at the same
exact time. That's huge, huge, I think it's great. I'm
just like blown away by the commitment. That's amazing, a commitment.
All right, here we go. Yeah, it's just so many hours.
It takes your Eventually it'll take up your entire fall.

(07:48):
You would have to start it on day one a fall.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
You know what, I feel like you're the only person
that doesn't like long podcasts. You are by far and
away not in the majority, especially when it comes to
our show. People love listening to this show and our
fucking light like the length of our shows, and you
are constantly surprised.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I don't know. And here's this is my secret tap.
I listened to long podcasts too, so I can't that's uh,
that's my secret. I'm always listening to long podcasts. Sure, okay,
I don't know. I it's just something I do, maybe
some short term nostalgia. Maybe the scenes from the game
that take place in fall parentheses the college seem to

(08:33):
fit with the season. In reality, I work for FedEx,
so I spend my whole day in a truck and
need some audio entertainment. There it is. We haven't talked
about the truck drivers of America recently, but I know
they're doing a great job.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
You're doing a great job.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Jase and the rest. I absolutely love Telu, So you
guys get a lot of play you. Jack probably don't
remember me, but I was listening when it was sundown
promises with how do you pronounce this? Britt brab who? Yeah,
I don't know. I don't know what I don't I
can't even read this word b aarb. It doesn't I've

(09:15):
never seen this before.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Jace, I do very much remember you. We were mutuals
on Twitter for a very long time.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
There you go, Yeah, a one from day one, as
it were. That's a great saying. I've never heard that before.
I was really pulled by one of the more recent
podcast episodes about David. Jack was wondering what the point
of him was, why he was necessary to further Ellie's character.
It really got me thinking, and I wanted to throw
a few coins on the table to see if there
is any value love that. Throughout the game out to

(09:44):
that point, all of the enemies are basically faceless. Your
thugs in Pittsburgh, your mangled splicers, bedroom morons, et cetera.
There is no connection, which is fine because you typically
eliminate the guys within a matter of seconds and move on.
In my humble opinion, David gave the story a little

(10:05):
more purpose. You got the opportunity to develop thoughts and
feelings towards him. There was a backstory, and it gave
him value as a character. He wasn't polarizing like say Marlene.
He was black and white. You hate him, there is
no other choice. I think he gives depth to the game.
You remember David for better or worse. It's interesting.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
I do have comments on this, but I'll do it
after this next paragraph.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Okay, as it pertains to Ellie, remember that prior to
the encounter with David, Ellie was goofy, fun loving. She
said farewell to poor in magazines. She went into the
science building at the college and yelled about being the
saving force of humanity. She shared her puns and just
seemed like the adolescent girl she genuinely and sincerely was.

(10:52):
Fast forward to after the David incident, she is pushed
into a different kind of maturity. The jokes are much
less frequent, and.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
There is more that he's going to say. I just
want to take a moment to acknowledge that this is
a very good point that you've brought to the table,
for sure, and I agree with you. I think that
it was, if nothing else, and a catalyst to Ellie's
maturity and shifting from this fun, loving naive to a

(11:24):
degree fourteen year old girl to this is the real
world kid. Yeah, and I understand that. I think my
maybe I just didn't articulate myself properly my point in
asking why did I guess I should have said why
did David have to be that level of bad in

(11:47):
her life? Like? Did we need to go from essentially
being sheltered in the military academy to her life completely
upended by this bite on her arm, to this journey
with some you know, a man and a woman. She
doesn't know who test eyes very quickly. And now she's

(12:11):
just stuck on the road with this grumpy asshole and
I love you, Joel so much and just kind of
thrust out into the real world, and she's still trying
to maintain a little bit of that I don't want
to believe things are as bad as they are. But
then when she's finally faced with it, it's this older

(12:31):
man who is not only a cannibal but also tries
to assault her in a completely different way than just
like a physical attack with like you know, like beating
someone with a fucking pipe is a physical attack. I'm

(12:52):
not talking about that kind of physical attack. Sure, And
it's like, did that need to be the catalyst? And
I don't think it had to be that way. I
understand because we've talked about many, many, many times about
the authenticity and relatability of this game to real life
as much as as much as it can be given

(13:15):
that it's a post apocalyptic story. Yeah, I mean, I
understand not having a faceless enemy anymore and having quote
the big bad because that is essentially what David becomes. Yeah,
but there were just elements to him that I'm like,
that wasn't necessary, like she still would have achieved that
loss of innocence without certain elements being involved. That's all.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Yeah, that's good points, good points. I don't have anything
to add yet. I'm going to keep reading a little
bit more sure, all right. Her eyes are open to
the grim, distorted reality of life, the kind of reality
that Joel knew and was likely unavoidable for Ellie. She
became aloof and serious, which we know carried a ton
of weight in Tilou too. She understood brutality and death.

(14:03):
She understood the lack of choices and options when it's
your life or theirs. She realized that she could fend
for herself, protect herself in a way she hadn't had
to do before because Joel was always at her side.
In short, well not really short, because I'm rambling, it
developed her character into the one we knew would grow

(14:24):
in the sequel. It stole whatever innocence she had left,
which isn't a good thing, obviously, but as it pretends
to video game ass shit, it was necessary to carry
the character into a hardened Ellie.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
And I agree. I do agree. It just goes back
to the elements of the chosen, elements of what they
brought in you could have. And this is when I've
talked about this, oh God, early on, I believe, when
Barb was on the show and we had kind of
spiraled off here and there into Game of Thrones in particular,

(15:03):
and I think you and I have even discussed it too,
where it's like and trigger warning for sexual violence, like
you don't need rape does not have to be a
story plot point done so gratuitously that that is the
only catalyst that ultimately changes and shapes a character. And

(15:24):
I understand that that's not what happened to Ellie. It
was just a very quick brush with the potential of
that kind of event happening to her. And I would
absolutely agree that the majority of her shift in character
and her loss of innocence was because she hacked him
to death with a fucking machete, not because of what

(15:46):
he was trying to do right before she fucking cut
his head off, essentially, But it still plays a part
in it, and as a woman, I can say that
with every fiber of my being that it plays a
part in it. And I think that that's just something
that didn't need to be in there, And that was
my point back on that episode. But do I agree

(16:07):
that something like this had to happen and harden Ellie. Yes, Unfortunately,
did it have to happen in part one? I don't know.
We could argue that what happened and left behind was
enough for her to have a switch flipped. But even
with that bite on her arm and mosying across the
country with Joel and knowing that she probably had to

(16:30):
kill her best friend and she killed that man that
was drowning Joel in the hotel, she still maintained that
bubbly sense of attitude and personality. It wasn't until she
was on her own and apart from Joel and probably
truly felt that her life was threatened for the first time,

(16:53):
which is crazy Again, I keep undoing and creating arguments
unto myself because her life was threatened when she was
bit sure, but we don't know what happened. We know
that she survived, and we know that Riley didn't. Yeah,
or maybe Riley's a fucking clicker now we don't fucking
know or no, if she would be a runner, I

(17:13):
don't think it's fast enough to be a clicker. But yeah,
it's just we needed the hardened Ellie. But I also
feel like Joel's death in Part two would have been
enough of a catalyst on its own for her to
be the hardened, revenge seeking person that we meet in
Part two for the majority of it.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, this reminds me of This reminds me. I have
a couple thoughts about a lot of things, but sure,
the one thing I want to bring up is this
kids being resilient. Okay, this reminds me of a very
brief story from my childhood about my friend Ryan, Okay,
who I may have never talked about. Growing up, we

(17:57):
had row homes on side of the street, and then
on the other side of the street, probably before I
even knew you, there were like factories, like these big
factory buildings.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
It was before me.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah, yeah, so you never even saw this. You saw
what would have been just like a parking lot, and
then some like a supermarket and a write EID or whatever.
But for most of my young life there's just a
huge four story warehouse that they used like during World
War two, right down. Yeah, and it was completely abandoned.

(18:34):
It was there was nothing happening in there, and as kids,
we would play in there, because of course we would
one day all we would do is like I could
go out my front door, walk down one set of steps,
walk down another set of steps, across the streets, and
walk right up to a hole in the fence to
go into this warehouse area. And we would get to

(18:57):
the point where my neighbor Ryan, we would just come
out at the same time. Book down the steps, book
down the steps, across the street, boom in, and they
were getting it done. What And as children who wanted
to play, you would potentially be a little bit reckless
in your haste to go play. One time, Oh god,

(19:24):
we ran across the street, not looking like we always did,
and Ryan, just a little bit slower than me. Oh no,
was hit by a car. Now I need to explain
this because how he was hit it matters. He was

(19:46):
not hit by a car and sent flying. He was
not hit by a car and went up on the hood.
He made it, He cleared the car, but his foot,
his pesky foot, got clipped by the bumper and sent
him in a spin and he fell. He spun conservative
he did like a Tan eighty. Let's call it like

(20:08):
a Tan eighty. Tony Hawk would have been very proud
of him.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Oh my god, you're making jokes so I can laugh.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Right, I can make jokes because he was fine. He
got up a little scraped up on his elbow, one elbow,
and continued to run across the street where I was.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Did the car leave?

Speaker 2 (20:28):
The car? Was like, what the hell? Kid? You know?

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (20:32):
And yeah, then the car left because we left. We
literally ran away from a car accident. I ran away
from your own nit and run right, Yeah, it was
the hit and we run is what happened. Yes, I
say all this because that literally until now, that never
came up again, Like Ryan never brought up the fact

(20:57):
that he was he was hit by a car in
the street. Right, We just and the next day literally
out the door, down the steps, down the steps, across
the street without looking in and play it again. Right?

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Did he ever tell his parents? Did you ever tell
your parents?

Speaker 2 (21:15):
No? No, no, no, we never said anything about this.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
You you know what you're. The more I learn about you,
the less I find that I've known, and it makes
me uncomfortable sometimes.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Listen, see everyone's learning this story together. I say it
because kids are resilient. Okay, yes, so there can be
many many traumatic things that happened to a kid, and
they could still put on a happy face and go play. Right.
Ellie getting bit in the mall traumatic, but she was
able to move past it, and then losing her best

(21:49):
friend traumatic, But she was able to move past it.
But there comes a point where that might not be
possible anymore. Yes, and I think David is that point. Now.
While we're on the subject of David, I like the
idea I hate. Let me just go ahead and on
the record and say, heye, David, don't like that guy,
bad guy, don't like him. I do like this idea

(22:12):
that we name him and we have a feeling about him.
That is not it's not it's not binary. It is
literally like, we hate this guy because you were supposed
to because he's a bad guy. Right, Yeah, that is
that is preferable to me than a sea of faceless thugs,
and that that's established in video games. Right when I

(22:35):
say who is the enemy of Super Mario? You say Bowser, correct,
because he has a name and you have a feeling
about him. Right on the opposite side of that, m HM,
last year's Game of the Year Astrobot, I could not

(22:55):
name a fucking enemy in that game. I could not.
I could tell you that one of was a giant monkey,
and there was an octopus, and they all have names
that come up on the screen entirely forgettable.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Yeah, no, I understand there, And this isn't a placid
game where something like that can skate by. Essentially, I
understand that, like Astrobot is the type of game where
you don't need a name.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
No, no, no. I say this because I believe it is
the only downside of Astrobot, because I know Bowser's name.
You should create a villain that is memorable, and Astrobot
has none.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
In every single game, you think that there should be
a memorable villain if you are a.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Hero, which Astrobot is. In this case, it's literally called
rescue mission. You're rescuing hundreds of bots, some of them
might even be Joel. Sure, you have to give me
something to rally against. I can tell you what the
villain looks like in Astrobot, the Big Bad I know

(24:09):
exactly what he looks like. I have no idea what
his name is, but I could tell you at age
six that then you know it's King Koopa at the
time is the bad guy. And I don't know how
I knew that, but believe me, I remembered it. So

(24:32):
that's all David is what an interesting character. You know again,
bad guy. Don't like him? Yeah, terrible but named and
you have a feeling towards him.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
So I agree, I agree, and this game, I think again,
I want to make it very clear that my point
wasn't what's the point of David. I don't think he
belongs in the game. It was what he did specifically.
I don't think that needed.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
To be in the game, correct, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
That's all it was. It was just that they hit
the whiff of sexual violence, even the the idea of
it that I was like, that wasn't necessary. Yeah, because
I it was the machete that I think ultimately changed
her and being apart from Joel and having this glimpse
into the world proper.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah, I think they wanted to make it unequivocal that
he is evil, that you don't like that, you know,
if there was ever any doubt for some reason, like
oh he's doing it for his people or whatever.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Yeah, no, No, he was not.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Right, I know. And but you know they're always apologists, always,
as we've.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Found in our world, fucking psycho.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
And the only other thing I'll say in regards to
that is at the time, I don't. It seems pretty
clear to me that they were never intending on making
a second game, so they wanted to put their everything,
all their eggs in this bass get Like, sure, if
it was outlined as a duology or a trilogy, whatever

(26:05):
it ends up being. From the start, I could see
them staggering some of these things. But we needed to
see this in a It's not a short time, it's
almost a year, but you know, it's you know, the
parts that we experience are short excerpts of time. So yeah, yeah,
that's all I got.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, And we'll talk more about this when we obviously
come up to part two because there are so many
villains and a big bad and others that some people
might consider a big bad. So that's an interesting thing too,
to go from essentially one to many and how to

(26:50):
process that. So we're getting closer every day, friends, closer
every day.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
That's not a song. I just made that up.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
I know a banger.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
I think it's wings actually.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Love take Down Streets, its B.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Sides, it's their B sides. And then Jase goes on
with just literally it says just random jumbled thoughts and hey,
while you're here. Here's a few bullets. All right, here
we go, let's go bullet number one. I'm excited for
your coverage of Tilu too. Let me know if one
of you two need me to fill in for you.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Hah, but no, really, you read that perfectly.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Bullet too. Jack and I had this conversation long ago.
Jack was always on team Mellie, and I planted my
flag on Mount Abby. They are both flawed and vicious murderers, true,
but they both find justification and they're killing. But Abby
never killed an innocent dog, just saying shot over the bow.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Abby wasn't presented with a situation that left her only
one choice. And that's all I'll say for that.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Okay, pull at number three. Bill is still the most
underrated comical character in both the game and the show.
He is iconic. Agree, Yeah, Show Bill better than Game Bill.
But you know it's they're different things. They're different things.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
I hope Jack and Barb ended their partnership on this
podcast on good terms. I listened to the last episode
right before Barb stepped aside, and there was a lengthy
argument between Barb and Jack, not a serious or malicious one,
but one that felt awkward and uncomfortable in listening to I.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Am so fucking curious to know what that is about now,
and to full transparency, it was I don't remember the argument.
Her and I. Our relationship is more solid now than
it's ever been. I miss her every single day. I
wish I could see her every single day. We are
still very much the best of friends. Yeah, Towards the

(28:59):
end of the podcast journey that her and I shared
on Sundown Promises obviously, which was.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Never heard of.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
It the name of the show before Wayfair and Strangers,
it was, it did get a little tense because it
was it just became too much work and too much
putting the pressure on in some ways, and whenever you
do that with a friendship, it can get weird, you know. So,

(29:28):
you know, and her and I had had many conversations,
and I think it was just she was still trying
so hard to be present even though she had so
many enormous life changes going on and couldn't keep promises.
And I am the type of person that will very
much let you know if you break a promise with me.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
A Sundown promise even.

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Yeah, So yeah, it was like an awkward moment but not.
It didn't affect our friendship in it in any single way.
It didn't change anything. So yeah, I hope that makes
me sad that, you know, this is something that people
might have thought, at least Jace might have thought, and
they listen to Yeah, I'm.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Going to listen to that episode. It's the show.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
It wasn't. It wasn't even that. It was just we
knew that it had come to She didn't. She didn't
want to be off the show, and I didn't want
her off the show, but her life just could not
allow for it time wise. Sure, so I think that
she was frustrated with the lack of time and I
was frustrated that it kept being delayed. So it had

(30:36):
that like frustrating energy. But that's it. It wasn't us
being like pissy with each other. It was just, yeah,
you know, wrong time. So but I'm going to go
back and listen to that episode and if it's that awkward,
I might cut it out because I don't want that.
I don't want that energy on the show.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
No, it's fine, and I'm sure it'll be fine, But
there you go. The next point that Jay springs up,
why is it weird that Joel has tissues in his room.
Maybe he has allergies.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Sure, okay, maybe that's fine. Okay, all right, head, look,
I mean there were like three boxes of tissues just around,
you know. Yeah, I'm not going to be crude. Jason's
trying to get a rise out of me, that's fine.

(31:25):
Maybe he has allergies, or maybe he's a single dad
who doesn't have time to date, and I'll leave it
at that.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Maybe a single dad who has allergies, which is different
from married dad allergies. I thought long and hard about
finding a scene in the game that could be called
the quote unquote defining scene of the Last of Us
that wasn't the giraffe moment, and I couldn't do it.

(31:52):
That was the most pure part of the game.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Okay, that's great, that's what Andrew picked.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Goddamn right. Ten out of ten.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Yeah it is still ten. It's a ten out of
ten scene for me too.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
But of ten, Jesse, think.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
What's there to talk about?

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Best line in the game? Drugs? I sell hardcore drugs.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
I fucking look. I will literally just walk around the
house sometimes in my head saying that drugs. I sell
hardcore drugs, Like just on repeat, I don't nailed it.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Yeah, perfect. I still wonder if Joel's ex wife died
or merely divorced him. So much depth in the possibilities
and potentially how it shaped both Joel as well as
his approach to raising Sarah.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
We've I remember talking about this. I don't remember if
it was on an email show or not. But my
thought essentially with this is if she had died and
they had left, like if they had had a good marriage,
which I don't believe they did, because anybody who has
children that young in they're you know, mid to late teens,

(33:10):
you're not going to have a sound, solid marriage nine
out of ten times. And I will present one the
one time, the one out of ten times. I have
my cousin John and his wife Amy. They got pregnant
when they were sixteen. They are still together to this day,

(33:30):
and his oldest, his oldest is now pregnant with his
first grandchild, and he's like and he's forty five. Like,
so they started very early, but they got married when
they were seventeen, and they made it that. I understand
there's an exception to every rule. I want to acknowledge that. However,
most of the time. Teenagers that get pregnant do not

(33:52):
end up staying together in a happily ever after household.
So I would wager that if she died they had
a semi good relationship, there would still be pictures of
Sarah and her mother around the house, or even Sarah
and Joel around the household. That is not the case.
There's not a single fucking picture of Sarah and any

(34:15):
mother figure whatsoever. So maybe she died.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
In birth, that's environmental storytelling.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Yeah, But if that's the case, then there probably still
would have been some sort of maternity picture that Joel
would have purposely framed so that Sarah could feel close
to her mother. So I'm leaning more closer to mom
turned into a dirt bag, divorced her full custody. We
don't talk about her.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Yeah, mom's in the wind. Yeah, Mom went out for
a pack of smokes and never came back. You know
what I'm saying. Yeah, it's a real role reversal, It
sure is. On that note, Sarah was absolutely adorable as
just one that's a one and done point there from Jaycee.

(35:05):
As a man who has had to lay his own
daughter to rest. Oh oh, I relate to Joel, despite
him being a fictional character. In a way that I
pray no one else ever has to. I imagine that
the what ifs that haunted me also haunted him. The
sense of failure never leaves you genuinely view life differently

(35:26):
after you lose your baby girl. The purity and innocence
in life is gone. You need to look harder and
squint to see and appreciate the beauty of the world.
Your approach to people becomes different because there is a
selfish voice in your head reminding you that whoever you
are talking to, approaching, working with, interacting with, has never

(35:48):
felt the pain you have, and it feels unfair. Sorry
to get dark.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
On you there, Jace. I'm so sorry for your life.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
Do not have to apologize for that?

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Yeah, you really do not at all, And I can't
even fathom that, So I don't want to talk about it.
I'm just so sorry for you and yours.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
It gives you a lot to think about all. That's
all say, you know it does. We have one final
point that Jase brings. It brings it.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
Right back up.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Back up, you guys, rock. I would come hang out
with both of you and share an adult beverage and
just have a good time. Thank you for getting me
through many long shifts and your commitment to arguably the
most influential, emotionally impactful game ever to grace a screen.
Here here, we're here. We're here for the FedEx Drivers

(36:42):
of America.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
And and happy to share an adult beverage and have
a good time. If ever, if ever that happens again.
The wayfar and west idea that we had in our
head was to go west and find public places. Where
are you to meet up with people? If that's a possibility,
you know, So it's it's it's always something in the
back of my mind when it comes to the future

(37:05):
of this show. Yeah, the ongoing future of this show.
So yeah. I never never count us out or the
possibility of something like that. So sure, Thank you, Jace,
thank you.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Yeah, huge email, huge play. And we were only about
a year late to it.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
It was October.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Oh, this was twenty twenty three. We're doing it. We're
catching up.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
I told you. That's why I was like, why is
it never excited?

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I still you know, I'm not even reading the years anymore.
I've just been in email email land for so long,
all right, That's great.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I'm going to read the next two emails from wander On.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Oh these are.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
Short, yeah, because then the following one is very long
where they break down each episode individually as they caught up.
And I absolutely fucking love that and I can't wait
to cover it, so I.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Might be able to skip a little bit later to
toer has a short one, but you know, I don't
want to jump too far out of order. But you know,
I'm just saying if we want to get as many
done as possible, but go ahead. Okay, wander On first.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
Yes, this is from wander On October twenty ninth, twenty
twenty four. Okay, okay, the listener email at the beginning
of episode twenty six. Yes, scream it from the mountaintops,
die on that hill, get on that soap box? Yes, okay,
sorry behind on episode, so going to continue binge listening
there it is. I have no idea what happened in
that episode.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Yeah, let's look it up while we're you know.

Speaker 1 (38:31):
Yeah, Andrew will look that up. I will read the
next email, which is also from wander On November one,
twenty twenty four. The absolute hilarity of listening to y'all
reading my emails and y'all's recent episodes never change. Stay
on that soapbox and keep up the banter and tangents. Also,
why you gotta make me choose between I Miss you

(38:52):
and what's my age?

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Again?

Speaker 1 (38:53):
Let me belt it out in peace and then cry
because I pulled a muscle. Aging is fun? Those are
blank two songs to seth wye goddamn right. Also, we
all know New Jersey is the armpit of America. Yes,
they're definitely in lands place. I will not apologize, nor
should you, nor fucking should you. Oh my gosh. Well,

(39:16):
I love those two emails very very much, So wander on,
Thank you. Andrew's doing some detective work and I will
be vamping for just a little nit.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Episode twenty six is I Ain't Leaving without You? Okay,
that's Salt Lake City. A lot of PTSD in this episode.
I'm going through the transcript right now, getting back to
these episodes. Fortnightly, I said Fortnightly, you sure did? Yeah, yeah,
what the fuck?

Speaker 1 (39:41):
That's pretentious?

Speaker 2 (39:46):
Yeah, we were so different back then. On episode twenty six.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
Oh that's fun.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
We're talking about the crips and the bloods. What the fuck?
What is this show? About I'm reading this randscript out
of context is an unhinged experience. We like crips and bloods,
and two paragraphs later, Cozy Gang happening in November? What
is going on? There's Andrew's joke corner. I guess it

(40:19):
had to happen before they're oh, and then started Part
two a thttle a couple of minutes. Reminder last last cast.
Oh shit, regular episodes left behind.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I could make this very easy.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
Please hold yeah, yeah, yeah, just just go back to
episode twenty six. Yes, you probably should't leave You probably
should don't delete this. At minimum, move it to the
bonus part of the end of the show.

Speaker 3 (40:45):
Because this is just all right episode Cozy Gang, Cribs
and Bloods soon al Ducee.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
For some reason, we said, okay, so the email from
Kiara s Yeah, hi there, I'm not gonna remember it. Well, hi,
Marlene's you okay with killing her? Ellie is not Jesus Christ?
Oh yeah, yeah, she does not have to die for

(41:18):
the fireflies as sins. So that's where that's that's where
we are at.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
Yes, all right, there you go, there you go, so
that's great.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
But yeah, okay, oh my god, sorry I told you.
I told our listeners over on coffee in the morning,
in the morning before we started recording that I'm watching
the Live Eagle channel and she she's like being barraged
with snow and sleep and it's a terrible situation for
our mama, our mama eagle. But she just got up
to like situate and she moved her little baby eggs around.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
She's moving them. She's like, guys are so uncomfortable sitting
on like these two rocks.

Speaker 1 (41:58):
Three they have three, yes, And now she's just like
kind of situating her body on top of them again.
And that was the sweetest thing in the whole world.
In my heart feels like it's gonna burst. I love it.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Here's a funny thing in the generated transcripts of our episodes.
You'll never guess what it how it decides to spell
out t lou podcasts, You'll never guess what it turns
out to be. And this is my new I'm announcing
a new show today. It's Teloupodcasts dot com, t l

(42:34):
U p O d k I s S Talu Podkiss
Tu podcast.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Well, Hello and welcome everyone to Tellu podcast to.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
No No t kiss Wah Kiss No Cast we're not casting,
we're kissing. That's that's what's going on today.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
That's unique and I like it unique New York. So
I went back to real quick wander On Okay, okay,
listen near your mouth. At the beginning of twenty six
yes screaming for okay, So wander On was talking about
l Ee not being Jesus Christ and needing to die
for the fireflies.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Yes, yes, there we are here play. Yeah, that's great too. Okay,
it was one more we could do what I'm looking
at the time. We got one more on the clock.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
Okay, let's go one more shot on the clock.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
This is from Alyssa A aka Lurk, November fourth. We
skipped one. We're gonna go back. Don't worry.

Speaker 1 (43:29):
We skipped a couple.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
We skipped a couple. But we're just we're trying to
like it's like Tetris. We need that, we need that
straight four piece to go clear the board. Here we go. Hey, Jack,
I just want to say thank you for the Telu podcast.
I've been listening for a while and was sad when
you took a break, but so understand needing breaks. Being
a Twitch streamer myself, I want to just say thank

(43:51):
you for opening my mind to even more. Teelu, I
have a very different opinion of part two than I'm
feeling you do, but I can't wait to hear your
thoughts in it. Opinions. I find so many people don't
have an open mind or understand that we all experience
these games or shows differently from one another and the
fun that comes with just openly discussing our experience. Please

(44:13):
never hold back from sharing your experience. That's from Lurk Lurker.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Alyssa akaa lurk akaa Alissa. Yeah, oh Clurk. You know
I love you and I love our chats over on
Instagram so much, and thank you so much for appreciating
the podcast and appreciating me because you said, hey Jack,
and I love that, so I appreciate your appreciated I
want to talk about how weird it is that today

(44:42):
my cousin and I, Hierka, we're talking about when you
put so much time, effort, and energy into something and
you don't think that it's growing enough, and you start
to question is this worth it? And it reminded me
and I don't remember the name of the I thought

(45:02):
it was bizarre, states with jess Chobot, sure, because I
loved that show, and I don't think they've had an
episode since twenty nineteen, but I think it was that
show or a different one where they were basically saying
because they are very much well known in the gaming
community and podcasting community specifically, and they were like, we

(45:25):
need to make ten thousand dollars a month to justify
the production of this particular show, and they ended up
not hitting that quota, so they were like, unfortunately, we
have to stop this podcast. And you would think that,
oh my god, ten thousand dollars a month for a
podcast like Jesus Christ. I'd be over the fucking moon

(45:47):
with that kind of income for a show, and some
podcasts in the world that's literally changed like chump change
to them because that's how big certain podcasts are and
how I even imagine that. I legitimately can't even imagine that,
And maybe that's my problem. I'm not dreaming big enough.
But you know, talking with Erica and just having that

(46:08):
it brought me back to the break of last year,
like that very long six seven month break where we
didn't podcast basically from like I mean March, I think
we did end episode in April when we got back
from the Grand Canyon, but basically March to like September,
no October, I don't even know. It was like seven

(46:29):
eight months, and it just got to that point where
I had so many things going on and so many
things going wrong, and I had to evaluate, like is
this podcast worth the energy and the time and the
heart that goes into it. And after taking all of
that time and looking at everything not from a stistic

(46:49):
statistical point of view, about oh, well, how are the
numbers doing every week? How many downloads do we have total?
You know, because it's never going to be enough. Even
if you have a million downloads a week, it's ever
gonna be enough, and making peace with that and then
just being like fuck it, I'm I'm all in. And
once you make that I left so hard during that part.

(47:11):
Now my throat's all jacked. But once once you make
that decision, the work becomes so much easier. It's like
joyful to do that kind of work. So thank you
for just acknowledging that, and everyone else who has said
over the those eight months that you've missed us or
you were hoping we were okay. And I know that

(47:32):
I've said this before, I'm gonna fucking say it again.
It's important to me to acknowledge that because it's important.
It's important to tell people that you appreciate them when
you can. And I feel like the world would be
a much better fucking place than everyone did it.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
But one day at a time.

Speaker 1 (47:50):
Yeah, And as for a part two, yes, based on
the little paragraph, I do believe we are going to
have different opinions, and I am all. I've met very
few people that feel as strongly as I do but
have an open mind. Still, I've met plenty of people

(48:13):
who are straight up haters and I am nowhere near that.
Fucking I don't fuck with that. I don't fuck with them.
I don't give a shit. They're just they're hating because
of themes that didn't align with their fucking white bread
personalities or their religion or what you know what I mean, Like,
uh yeah, fuck that and fuck that noise. That is

(48:34):
not what you're gonna get from me. Am I gonna
be petty sometimes, Oh yeah, oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:40):
If he listens to the episodes so far.

Speaker 1 (48:44):
Yeah, the pettiness gonna be strong.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
Tom is in the house, let's go.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
I might I should introduce myself as Tom going forward
whenever we start.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
Yeah, part two, that's great.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
This is Tom and Andrew.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
My friends call me Tom. Hi because I'm petty. You
don't know how you feel.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
Yeah, that's me.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Don't do it at all to be bad.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
You don't know, so petty, But I I feel like
I have enough valid reasons to justify the pettas.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
So okay, we will.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
We will get to it. It will be a rip
roar in great time and uh and I look forward
to that.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Don't worry everyone, We're gonna tear this game down to
it as I.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Think Andrew loves that. Nobody else does any sense.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
And now it's my favorite phrase. I'm gonna use it
in public.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
You please, for the love of God, When you are
out on a shoot at some point in the future
and something just goes like it's up no time, and then.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
There's a perfect time to use it. It's like we
have all of this equipment set up. There are multiple lights, cameras, tripods,
fucking audio equipment, everything, and then you get the last
shot of the day. It's like, all right, everyone, it's
time to tear this thing down to its answer.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
Then you have to tell me what people say.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
They'll be like, oh, okay.

Speaker 1 (50:41):
I think if you said it around certain people, they
would be like, they wouldn't say anything. They might give
you an awkward thing.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
They'll be like, classic, Andrew, you don't know what the
fuck this guy's talking about.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
Oh my gosh, that's fun.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
Though. Just as a quick aside, Hey, it's some good
news for you. Bizarre Dates is back. They have a
new one called Bizarre States Colon Resurrected.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
Yeah, but even that hasn't been updated since last year.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Ah, is that true?

Speaker 1 (51:09):
Yeah? And the last podcast was like, oh, Jess talks
about how she's taken a break, and I'm like, all right,
taking a break. Yeah, we all listen, we all need.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
To take a break, taking a break.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
You're content creator. You have to take a break.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
It's true.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Financially you might not want to, but mentally, oh, like
that shit will destroy your life if you. And when
I say content creator, I want to be very clear
here in who I am talking about, and that means
people like you and I, people like a lurker, people

(51:48):
that have people that have podcasts similar to the ones
that you and I create, Yeah, not not content creators
that have million dollar deals.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
From studios or hey, good on them though.

Speaker 1 (52:00):
Five hundred thousand plus followers on Instagram, this, that, and
the other. They have an entire team to research, write, produce, edit,
publish and put it and put their content out in
the world. All they have to do is sit their
ass down and talk.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
The best part of the gig.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
Yes, it truly is the best part of the gig.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
The smallest part of the gig.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
So when I talk about content creator, that's who I mean.
And streamers who have you know, millions of followers and
they make millions of dollars a year, if not a month.
They are not cutting their clips. They are not sitting
down and going through hours worth of content to see
what is the best to put out to draw more

(52:44):
people in. They are not doing that their team is.
So when I mean content creators need breaks, I mean
the real people. Wow, you know, And if we ever
get to that point where we are no longer considered
the real people, I'll let you know how sweet it
is I problem. And guess what, we won't ever fucking
take a break because we won't have to. Yeah, that's

(53:07):
the difference.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Like remember back on bonus listener emails, nineteen when I
was talking about real people, we're not them anymore. Edit that.

Speaker 1 (53:26):
Oh god, it's so good. The dream, the dream. But no,
I would love to remain a little small fry podcaster,
but I do want to be a mega author. So
that's something that Yeah, there it is. Yeah, let's put
manifesting manifesting a publishing deal within the next two years,
because I'm going to publish myself. But I want, like

(53:47):
an actual agency to be like, oh, she's she's hot, shit,
let's get her. Yeah, that's what I'm manifesting.

Speaker 2 (53:52):
So yeah, you just want to get optioned by like
a twenty four that's all I ac. Or we're Warner Brothers.
You know something? You know? Sure, something small legendary pictures,
who knows? Who knows?

Speaker 1 (54:05):
I see the vibe you're going with here, and it's
thematically a twenty four legendary. It's a little horrorsh who knows,
it's a little dark. I can I write dark. I
write a lot of dark stuff, but I don't. I've
never tried horror, and I feel like I might soon,
so that could be fun.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Eight twenty four movies are not just horror movies. They
just happen to skew that way. They're real thinkers more
than anything else.

Speaker 1 (54:29):
I like that. I like a good thinker story. I'm
not like I read a bunch of fluffy stuff sometimes
that has you know, serious elements to it every once
in a while, but most of the time. Like I'm
about to start reading Lord of the Rings, i just
finished reading the Harry Potter series literally like three days ago.
It's just, you know, I like, I like meat on

(54:52):
the bone. So okay, that's what I'm gonna put out
into the world, all right, ran Yeah, anyway, social media
contact details Andrew, would you like to do that this
week or do you want me.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
To do have that in front of me? Yep, God, So.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
If you'd like to follow us on Blue Sky, go
over and do that at telu podcast, Instagram is Telu Podcasts,
and email to be on a future show. You can
do that at telupodcast at gmail dot com. Get them in.
We love them. We have the best time doing these shows.
A part of me is so excited to get back
to the review shows, but a part of me is like, damn,

(55:30):
I'm really having a great time week to week doing
those shit, and I want to continue doing that. So
send us some emails. Telopodcast at gmail dot com. Okay,
the last cast will return in April of twenty twenty five,
aka the busiest month of the twenties for me, and
the next episode next week will be another bonus listener

(55:53):
email episode. We have a big one leading into start
that and then a bunch of little ones again like
we did this week, and I'm looking forward to It's
gonna be great. I love all these long emails the
end of the year. People, y'all really sent us some deep, long,
lengthy emails and I like it. I think it's because
we finished part one and everyone had lots to say
and I love that so much. As always, a wonderful

(56:17):

dot com, slash Telu podcast and Fyi, I did post
last week meaning this week because we're you're this is
the future. I'm not discussed this, so I did post

(56:41):
a public post over on coffee a couple of pictures
from the Eagles send off that we talked about, along
with the the Eagles cake. That is uh a site
to behold. So go over to our coffee again. Ko
dash Fi dot com, slash Telu podcast and check that
out if nothing else, But there is a bunch of

(57:02):
other content over there, so if you want to join,
we'd love to hobby you all for the.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Low price of insert dollar amount here, you too can join.

Speaker 1 (57:10):
Yes, the two options are five and twenty dollars a month,
so not scary prices not insignificant either, given the state
of the economy right now, we get.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
It cheaper than a dozen eggs.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Guys, seriously listen now. Now we're ending on a high note.
Our wonderful Coffee subscribers and friends shout out to you
the ghost of mister Joel Mari, Kiara, Dustin T. Wander On,
Brian Jim Zydre, Kelsey, Kryptoni and Jedi seventy nine, Ozzy Ellie,
a lurker at Treos late nine ten, Climatize eighty two end.

Speaker 4 (57:44):
Baby Shadow, I tried to remove all energy.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
Hot I do see that you succeeded. Great. Just keep
everyone on.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
Their toes, Baby Shadow. God, that was that was very good.
I'm excited for everyone to hear that. So, oh my gosh,
thank you guys. Actually, Andrew, can you put out a
ployee for people to leave us some reviews. I was
gonna say, Apple.

Speaker 2 (58:17):
Itues, Apple iTunes, I'm so old. Go take a seat, Grandma,
I'm seated. Go get your Apple iTunes, Go rip some
CDs while.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
I still wish that I could do that.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
Shit. Sometimes you don't trust me. What a pain in
the ass it was. It was things are so much
better now, and you could just speak into the air
and music starts playing. This is true, What magical times
we live in. Hey everyone, it's your old pal Andrew.
You've listened to this far. We're having a great time.

(58:52):
We're laughing, we're chuckling, we're shooting the shit. What the
hell were we even talking about earlier? I don't remember
remember that transcript from episode twenty six. What was going
on there? Cozy time, cozy gang? What? Anyway, If you
like what we're doing, I implore you, go ahead. If
you haven't, go ahead, take five minutes, no pick one minute,

(59:19):
and just give the show a five star review on
your platform of choice. There are only about two or
three platforms that even allow you to do that. I
believe it's Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon. Then, if you
feel so inclined to take it a step further. You
want to take five minutes just go write something nice

(59:39):
on I guess that would just be Apple Podcasts. I
guess you need an account to do that, and a
number of other things. I realized maybe it's more than
five minutes unless you're already in the Apple ecosystem. However,
if you haven't and you feel like you want to
help the show, you don't want to spend five dollars
or twenty dollars and join the coffee and all this stuff,
the freeway to do it, hit that review, but and

(01:00:00):
just be like, love this guy's cozy hashtag Cozy Gang,
episode twenty six for ever done, and we'll know what
you mean other reviewers, other people who are like, should
I check this show out? They will not know what
you mean, but.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
Will know or down to the assholes.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
You can't do that. The Apple definitely won't let that
go through. But you do the dollar sign dollar sign
and make make the O a zero and the E
could be a three. There are a lot of ways
to get around the sensors. You know.

Speaker 1 (01:00:32):
Now we're cooking with grease.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
So yeah, that's all I do is with Chris. I
guess that's all I do. Is cook with grease. Just
heat that grease up and toss the turkey and you
know what are we talking about? This is why the
transcripts are all fucked up, because it's just a bunch
of yes and but if you like that yes and

(01:00:55):
go review, let us know. Yeah, I found out something
great when we come back proper with video and all
that good stuff. Yes, Spotify, now let's you do video episodes,
so in addition to YouTube, our videos will go on
Spotify too. For no with it's no, it's very low
friction for us to do that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
So oh that's exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Yeah, that's really cool. So you'll be able to if
you're a Spotify subscriber, you'll be able to choose or
I guess have both, but effectively choose between. Like, oh,
I can watch or I can listen, and I think,
don't don't quote me on this. I believe it's synced up,
so that'd be cool. Like you're like, oh, I got
fifteen minutes into the episode they're talking about something visual.

(01:01:40):
Switch to the video version. It picks right up from
where you left off. I like it, So we'll see.
It's exciting, it's coming up soon.

Speaker 1 (01:01:48):
I'm excited. Hell yeah, yeah, that'll be the video episode's
return with part two when we kick that off, and
that's a decision that there we go fully think about
the implications, but it will be what it will be.

Speaker 2 (01:02:04):
It's too late, it's done. It's already done. Yeah. I
don't want to spoil it, but we're already they're already
all recorded. Sorry everyone, Yeah they are not.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
So I wish that would be wonderful. That would be
the most wonderful and all we would have to sit
down is just talk about weekly topics and then boop.
But no, no, we have a lot of work ahead
of us and it's going.

Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
To be It's it, yes, Ma, it's going to be me.

Speaker 1 (01:02:28):
It's gotta babe.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Bye.

Speaker 1 (01:02:30):
So that's the show. Thank you guys for hanging out
with us, and thank you Jace and Alyssa for sending
us some emails. And everyone else, please go outside, get
some fresh air. Just treat yourself to your favorite coffee beverage,

(01:02:50):
or if you're in the mood for a donut and
you're like, no, I can't do that, it's been buy
the fucking donut and make yourself happy, and uh, just
do something nice for yourself and then do something nice
for ever for someone else just because you feel good.
So yeah, okay, bye perfect this amount it was all right.

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
