So why are energy prices rising in states that are
using green energy policies? I'm laughing because you got to
go dug when I asked that question, because who didn't
predict this one?
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Green energy? Does it work? And the more they use it,
the higher the prices go. But I'm not an expert
at it, so let's hear your expert explanation.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Well, that's that is what is happening now.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
What the green proponents have been saying is that renewals
are the cheapest electricity winning solar are the cheapest, so
cheaper than natural gas, so cheaper than coal.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
But the data is in.
Speaker 5 (32:57):
Now, and I'm just prepared to an article I've sent
off to be published.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
In it.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
I have a graph and it shows that Connecticut, California, Maine,
New York, Maryland, and Massachusetts, all of electricity has been
rising in the last five years thirty percent or more.
Connecticut's up eighty percent, California up almost sixty percent. And
those are the states that have shuttled the coal plants.
(33:25):
They've closed nuclear plants. Bad idea as well in other
states like Georgia, Florida, Texas, Missouri that have kept a
coal and they rely on coal and natural gas arising
lower than the inflation. The US, by the way, last
five years is up about twenty three percent, So the
data is clear. Now and putting in wind and solar
(33:47):
means more expensive electricity bills.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
And I'm surprised that that isn't on that list because
I live here in Las Vegas and the electric bill
and the gas bill are all going up very quickly,
maybe not as high, so it didn't make that list
as Maryland than all those Blue states California, New York, Massachusetts,
but it really is going up a lot. And the
reason why is that Warren Buffett bought our electric company,
(34:10):
Envy Power. Warren Buffett bought it and started switching it
to green energy, and there's much higher reliance on green
energy now. It's probably not nearly as high as California,
New York, Corrello states you just mentioned, but it's still like,
I think it's now forty percent reliant. It used to
be like ten percent. And as soon as he did that,
our electric bills went up. Why should that surprise anyone?
Speaker 5 (34:35):
Yeah, well, it's because of propaganda, says a lot of
other things. But the really big change now is that,
as you mentioned earlier, artificial intelligence is now driving electrical
power in the United States. We have all these guys
that are now called hyperscalers, Google, Meta Microsoft, Amazon that
are building data centers all over the country. Started twenty
(34:57):
twenty four, we had twenty seven data centers in the
United States. Now we have over four thousand data centers
less than two years later. And originally data centers were
just running the Internet and doing cloud storage.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
But now they're solving these AI.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Problems, and so not only new data centers, but the
old ones are being upgraded with servers.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
That can run AI.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
And when you do that, you use six to tie
six to ten times more electricity than you did when
they were just servicing the Internet. So this is a massive,
massive change. And all these states that say they're going
to go into green energy, they just can't cope with
what's going on.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
So as an example, let me ask you a question
on the fly here it's not on our list of questions,
but back I don't know, maybe it's five years ago
now where Texas, basically they're power grade collapsed in the
middle of the winter and it was freezing cold out
and people were freezing to death and everybody's lights went
out and that was all because they were relying too
(35:59):
much on green ennery. So that was before anyone had
ever heard of an AI data center.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
So now that.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Everybody's building it, and we have four thousand AI data
centers in the United States and next year, I'm sure
it'll be eight thousand. In the eure after, it'll be
sixteen thousand, and it's going to keep doubling and tripling.
Soon we're gonna have like one hundred thousand AI data centers.
Where will all the electricity come from and won't it
make the grid collapse?
Speaker 4 (36:21):
Well, the answer is natural gas.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
Now we're also having a little bit of a nuclear revolution,
but the big thing is natural gas. And Texas you
mentioned that blackout on February twenty twenty one.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Texas is in the process of.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
Building one hundred and eight new gas fired power plants.
Are there plans for that. They're also expanding seventeen of them.
These are going to add fifty eight gigawatts and new
capacity for all these data centers, and when they get
done in the next four or five years, they're gonna
put out three times These new gas plans are going
to put up three times as much power as all
(36:54):
of the wind that was built in Texas over the
last two decades. And by the way, Texas Texas is
the biggest in state in the country. But but what's
going on with gas is just going to dwarf that.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
This, there's some other examples too.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
Meta Hyperion in Louisiana is claiming to build the biggest
data center in the Western hemisphere.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
This is in North Louisiana and uh they're building three
new gas fire power plants to run it. And when
this thing comes online, it's expected to use double the
electricity of the city of New Orleans.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
That's how big some of these things are. It's just astonishing.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
So what what your what your viewers should be thinking
about is a big picture of a tidal wave and
that's the artificial intelligence revolution and a little tiny sailboat
which is not zero and that wave is just going
to wash over and that zero.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Just what's ami.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
So it's it's just a tremendous change. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
And by the way, I'm sure you heard you were
standing by before I introduced you.
Speaker 1 (37:54):

Or the energy to power all these AI data centers,
And it's going to be natural gas, And that's why
it's so important to have this gigantic pool of natural

Yeah, and you could build these plants quickly. An example
is what Tesla did near Memphis. They built a Colossus
AI with two hundred thousand in videographics processing units, a
big AI plants and Tesla is a solar and a
battery company, but they didn't use solar and battery. They
put in a thirty five on site gas turbines and
(39:04):
they built this in a year. Uh, you know, it
takes you years and years and years to build a
nuclear plant or to get transmission for wind and solar.
They didn't even have the permits, so everybody was assuming
them because they put them thing up. They didn't have
the permits. But they now get the permits. It's just
amazing what you can do. And this is a new
thing they call biop bring your own power. Instead of
(39:27):
relying on the grid, you just build your own power
plants right next to your data center.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Is this is this why you know Kip Perridge is
my financial guy who comes on the show.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
He'll be on actually the next hour, just by chance.

But but Kip is a big believer in these these
companies that build these little tiny nuclear power you know,
they're like this big in your hand.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
You're building a little nuclear power plant.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
And and so he's got us investing in a couple
of big companies that do that. That is that what
you're talking about? That when you say bring your own power,
that a that a tesla will well, we'll get when
he's a little compact nuclear an engines or motors.
Speaker 5 (40:01):
The problem with traditional nuclear is it's it's too expensive
and it takes more than a decade to build. So
we have you're right, we have about fifty companies now
that are building to call SMR.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Small modular reactors right right.
Speaker 5 (40:13):
They're like one hundred megawats or so. But you know,
none of these really exists yet. There's there's a lot
of plants, and Chris Wright, the Energy Secretary, is pushing these,
so there's a chance so we can get those done
and change the lant step with.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
These as well.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
That's funny because I believe that's the ticker symbol of
one of Kip's biggest.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Recommendations is the SMR.

I believe that's the ticker symbol, and that's what they
build is a little power little nuclear power plants.

And it's gone up so much, and it went up
again today.

How are you hey, Wayne and Elendlie. Great to join

I'm doing great, all right, welcome back.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
So why are energy prices rising in states that are
using green energy policies? I'm laughing because you got to
go dug when I asked that question, because who didn't
predict this one?
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Green energy? Does it work? And the more they use it,
the higher the prices go. But I'm not an expert
at it, so let's hear your expert explanation.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Well, that's that is what is happening now.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
What the green proponents have been saying is that renewals
are the cheapest electricity winning solar are the cheapest, so
cheaper than natural gas, so cheaper than coal.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
But the data is in.
Speaker 5 (32:57):
Now, and I'm just prepared to an article I've sent
off to be published.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
In it.
Speaker 5 (33:03):
I have a graph and it shows that Connecticut, California, Maine,
New York, Maryland, and Massachusetts, all of electricity has been
rising in the last five years thirty percent or more.
Connecticut's up eighty percent, California up almost sixty percent. And
those are the states that have shuttled the coal plants.
(33:25):
They've closed nuclear plants. Bad idea as well in other
states like Georgia, Florida, Texas, Missouri that have kept a
coal and they rely on coal and natural gas arising
lower than the inflation. The US, by the way, last
five years is up about twenty three percent, So the
data is clear. Now and putting in wind and solar
(33:47):
means more expensive electricity bills.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
And I'm surprised that that isn't on that list because
I live here in Las Vegas and the electric bill
and the gas bill are all going up very quickly,
maybe not as high, so it didn't make that list
as Maryland than all those Blue states California, New York, Massachusetts,
but it really is going up a lot. And the
reason why is that Warren Buffett bought our electric company,
(34:10):
Envy Power. Warren Buffett bought it and started switching it
to green energy, and there's much higher reliance on green
energy now. It's probably not nearly as high as California,
New York, Corrello states you just mentioned, but it's still like,
I think it's now forty percent reliant. It used to
be like ten percent. And as soon as he did that,
our electric bills went up. Why should that surprise anyone?
Speaker 5 (34:35):
Yeah, well, it's because of propaganda, says a lot of
other things. But the really big change now is that,
as you mentioned earlier, artificial intelligence is now driving electrical
power in the United States. We have all these guys
that are now called hyperscalers, Google, Meta Microsoft, Amazon that
are building data centers all over the country. Started twenty
(34:57):
twenty four, we had twenty seven data centers in the
United States. Now we have over four thousand data centers
less than two years later. And originally data centers were
just running the Internet and doing cloud storage.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
But now they're solving these AI.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Problems, and so not only new data centers, but the
old ones are being upgraded with servers.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
That can run AI.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
And when you do that, you use six to tie
six to ten times more electricity than you did when
they were just servicing the Internet. So this is a massive,
massive change. And all these states that say they're going
to go into green energy, they just can't cope with
what's going on.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
So as an example, let me ask you a question
on the fly here it's not on our list of questions,
but back I don't know, maybe it's five years ago
now where Texas, basically they're power grade collapsed in the
middle of the winter and it was freezing cold out
and people were freezing to death and everybody's lights went
out and that was all because they were relying too
(35:59):
much on green ennery. So that was before anyone had
ever heard of an AI data center.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
So now that.
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Everybody's building it, and we have four thousand AI data
centers in the United States and next year, I'm sure
it'll be eight thousand. In the eure after, it'll be
sixteen thousand, and it's going to keep doubling and tripling.
Soon we're gonna have like one hundred thousand AI data centers.
Where will all the electricity come from and won't it
make the grid collapse?
Speaker 4 (36:21):
Well, the answer is natural gas.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
Now we're also having a little bit of a nuclear revolution,
but the big thing is natural gas. And Texas you
mentioned that blackout on February twenty twenty one.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Texas is in the process of.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
Building one hundred and eight new gas fired power plants.
Are there plans for that. They're also expanding seventeen of them.
These are going to add fifty eight gigawatts and new
capacity for all these data centers, and when they get
done in the next four or five years, they're gonna
put out three times These new gas plans are going
to put up three times as much power as all
(36:54):
of the wind that was built in Texas over the
last two decades. And by the way, Texas Texas is
the biggest in state in the country. But but what's
going on with gas is just going to dwarf that.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
This, there's some other examples too.
Speaker 5 (37:07):
Meta Hyperion in Louisiana is claiming to build the biggest
data center in the Western hemisphere.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
This is in North Louisiana and uh they're building three
new gas fire power plants to run it. And when
this thing comes online, it's expected to use double the
electricity of the city of New Orleans.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
That's how big some of these things are. It's just astonishing.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
So what what your what your viewers should be thinking
about is a big picture of a tidal wave and
that's the artificial intelligence revolution and a little tiny sailboat
which is not zero and that wave is just going
to wash over and that zero.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Just what's ami.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
So it's it's just a tremendous change. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
And by the way, I'm sure you heard you were
standing by before I introduced you.
Speaker 1 (37:54):

one of the biggest in modern history. Like the Permium basin,
and they think that that's what's going to power AI

They tell me, with natural gas going down so far.

So you just had a wonderful answer to the question

So thank you for that answer, because there's the answer.
Where are we going to get the electricity.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
Or the energy to power all these AI data centers,
And it's going to be natural gas, And that's why
it's so important to have this gigantic pool of natural
gas that Lost Soldier is really for right now.
Speaker 5 (38:44):
Yeah, and you could build these plants quickly. An example
is what Tesla did near Memphis. They built a Colossus
AI with two hundred thousand in videographics processing units, a
big AI plants and Tesla is a solar and a
battery company, but they didn't use solar and battery. They
put in a thirty five on site gas turbines and
(39:04):
they built this in a year. Uh, you know, it
takes you years and years and years to build a
nuclear plant or to get transmission for wind and solar.
They didn't even have the permits, so everybody was assuming
them because they put them thing up. They didn't have
the permits. But they now get the permits. It's just
amazing what you can do. And this is a new
thing they call biop bring your own power. Instead of
(39:27):
relying on the grid, you just build your own power
plants right next to your data center.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
Is this is this why you know Kip Perridge is
my financial guy who comes on the show.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
He'll be on actually the next hour, just by chance.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
But but Kip is a big believer in these these
companies that build these little tiny nuclear power you know,
they're like this big in your hand.
Speaker 1 (39:46):
You're building a little nuclear power plant.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
And and so he's got us investing in a couple
of big companies that do that. That is that what
you're talking about? That when you say bring your own power,
that a that a tesla will well, we'll get when
he's a little compact nuclear an engines or motors.
Speaker 5 (40:01):
The problem with traditional nuclear is it's it's too expensive
and it takes more than a decade to build. So
we have you're right, we have about fifty companies now
that are building to call SMR.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Small modular reactors right right.
Speaker 5 (40:13):
They're like one hundred megawats or so. But you know,
none of these really exists yet. There's there's a lot
of plants, and Chris Wright, the Energy Secretary, is pushing these,
so there's a chance so we can get those done
and change the lant step with.
Speaker 4 (40:26):
These as well.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
That's funny because I believe that's the ticker symbol of
one of Kip's biggest.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Recommendations is the SMR.

I believe that's the ticker symbol, and that's what they
build is a little power little nuclear power plants.

And it's gone up so much, and it went up
again today.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
It went up so much today that it overtook all
my losses and all my other stocks, and I had
a good day because of SMR.
