Speaker 2 (01:02):
Okay, see he's already getting demanding with me. Josh Cole
Bye bye. That's right.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Josh one predictions with seven points while Jason had five
point five.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
That point five was because.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
He did pick the mpunk correct correctly, but seth Rawlin's
ruined that for him should.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Have head that as a bonus point. We didn't think
of the.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Town, didn't think about it at all, man. They got
us with that one.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, I finished with five. Josh, is your reigning defending
undisputed Universal Grill Out Predictions Champion of the World and
everything beyond that has ever, ever will be, that has
and ever will be. Why did you wipe write all
of that?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Because it's true. I am the undisputed champion. My loss
never happened.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
It's it's going to his head.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
I'm going off of two hours of sleep in prime
And where is the list?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
We do? We do have a list later on. Yeah,
in our middle segment, we're going to give our top
five current wrestlers, So wrestlers who are currently like active
one the scene. Now they can be you know, injured
or taking time off or whatever, but as long as
they're somewhat active under contract, Yeah yeah, we'll we'll we
will count them even.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
If you've been under contract for two years and getting
paid and not doing nothing. Later Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll
get that.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
We'll get that later on in this segment. Real quick,
big news coming from WWE. It's big. It is WWE.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
It's terrible.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Theyre p well, it depends on how you look at it.
Their pl We'll get the summer sign but they're pls.
Their premium live events will be going to ESPN. Disney
is paying one point six billion dollars for five years
to have WWE streaming rights.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
The deal will.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Start in twenty twenty six. In April twenty twenty six. First, okay,
the monthly cost will rise to at least twenty nine
to ninety nine per month. But if you do have
a cable service, that uh, that is free to watch.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, if it's on your cable service.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yes, those services include YouTube, TV, Hulu Plus, Comcast, et cetera.
Some w w WWE programming will play on ESPN for free.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, like some select pls will be I guess, will
be on their linear channel. But it's just I guess
the smaller one.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
I was gonna say. It may be like something maybe
maybe like their NXC takeovers.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
I don't NXT so far is not part of this deal. Wow,
So we don't know where their events are going yet.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Oh wow. Oh well, it may just stay on Peacock.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
It could because I know Peacock still has SmackDown like
replaces SmackDown for the next five years. I guess the
Saturday It's main event two, so.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Like Saturday night's main event won't go to ESPN. No,
that will stay with Peacock, NBC, NBC.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Universal, only p on the ESPN. That's it.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Okay, so only the ples are going on ESPN.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yep. So like so you're getting charge triple amount for
less sort of yes.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Now, like I said, if you do have a cable
service of some type that has ESPN on it, you
do get it for free. But I will say, as
somebody who does have YouTube TV, that's like.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Eighty eight dollars a month.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
That's a lot.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah, But I also I have it for like multiple
different reasons, like to just watch like different sports and stuff.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
And yeah, so that that's why I keep it.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Plus also I watch like Monday Night Roll and uh
well not not that's on Netflix, smack Down, n XT aw,
all of them are on there, so I don't have
to kind of got everything in one spot.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
For me, I'm not a fan.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I'm not either, Like I don't.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Watch sports outside of wrestling, if you can consider wrestling
sport that sports entertainment. And it's like on p or Peacock.
You know, it was like it started out as five bucks.
Now it's like eight bucks on the bottom tier less
than what WWIL was. Plus you got Peacock's whole library
of movies and TV shows. Now we're going to go
over to ESPN if you don't already have EXSSDESPN. You
got paid thirty bucks only for pls.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, and that's and that's the thing. Like, that's that's
where my problem lies with this. I understand some people
are they're they're pushing the whole pl thing, they're pushing
the cable service thing.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
I understand that they're.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Like, well, why don't they lead in with that because
not everybody has cable? Yeah, okay, I like, I'm actually
probably one of the rare few around.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
My age that has something like this.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
We actually do still have cable because it's part of
the package with the internet and phone.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
See I mean, but also y'all have probably had that
saying you've probably been the same company for for a
long time.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Right, yes, but we did cut the cord cable wise
and just had internet and phone for a bit. Then
they're like, hey, you can get like a discount if
you had your cable on there too. I think, okay, sure,
why not?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yeah, I mean I guess yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
You know, but like that's the thing to me, like,
if you don't have either one of those, you're going
to be paying at least thirty bucks. Yeah, and I'm
sorry in this current climate that we call an economy
that is not no, no, I'm good, I'm good on that.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
There are people on lines like you know, back in
like the nineties or whatever, we were paying like fifty
bucks or paperies. Well, first of all, it's not the
nineties anymore, and go ahead. Secondly, not only do we
have to pay for ESPN, we have to pay for
Netflix for raw. We also have to have cable if
we want to watch SmackDown, and well CW's free cable.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Still.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Yeah, it's like we had to have all these different
platforms just to watch it all. Yeah, when it used
to all kind of be in a one spot to
being more than what the pay per view was.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Yeah, exactly. And here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Also, back in the day, not all pay per views
are fifty bucks. Yeah, Like I remember the very first
pay per view we ever ordered in our house. I
remember I aggravated my parents to no end for this
because all other pay per views I had watched, I'd
watched all like DVDs that like my cousins had or
my mom and dad went and bought for me. Was
two thousand and three Armageddon, I think is the one
(06:43):
where yeah, yeah, it was two thousand and three Armageddon
because it was when Goldberg was still he was World
Heavyweight champion and I think he lost it on that
show to Triple H. So I think that's yeah, yeah,
and that's that's when Evolution like had all of the
gold and everything. That was the very first pay per
view we ordered. If memory serves me correct, I think
that pay per view was between ten to twenty dollars.
(07:05):
It was not very much because it's considered a B
level pay per view. Yeah, it wasn't WrestleMania or or
the Royal Room. It wasn't what was then the Big Four.
You know, of course WrestleMania. Once it gets around to that,
we're gonna be showing out fifty bucks just to watch WrestleMania.
And eventually it did get to the point in what
(07:26):
twenty fifteen, if you did not have the WWE network,
you were paying fifty bucks a month for.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Each pay per view.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
It's crazy that people did that when you had the
network right there for ten bucks. Yeah, technically people can
still do the technically pay per view is still a thing.
They still have them on pay per view. I don't
know what people do, but.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
I mean, yeah, it's I don't. I don't know if anybody.
I don't know if anybody that I know who orders
WWE pay per views.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Now I know people who get like aw pay per
views and other promotions because they still go off of
that business model, but not WWE. But no, I don't.
I'm not a fan of this. I don't agree with it.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
My biggest issue is that, Okay, so at its rought WWE.
It's an American company. Yeah, why can the American company
not cater to the American market? Because you go to Europe,
everything's on Netflix. Go everywhere else, everything is on Netflix.
We have to have like three different stream reservices plus cable.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
And on top of that, like, wasn't it let me think,
let me think, wasn't up until here recently that in
like the UK, the WWE network was still a thing.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Technically there are a few countries that still have the.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Network, but which is a little crazy.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, it's only a handful, but it's because of like
old contracts. But once those contracts expired, they'll go to Netflix.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay, okay, I'll just roll over on to the Netflix.
Yeah that makes sense. But yeah, we man, we had
it all.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
We had. We had nine ninety nine pay per views
a month.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Five dollars foot longs.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
We had five dollars foot longs, one dollar chickens, twenty
four hour walmarts.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, what has happened anyway? Summer Slam pay per view
since we peel.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
You know, you know I'm gonna say everyone boycott it.
Use a vp on on your Netflix. Yeah, there you go,
show them show. The Man Show is not what we want.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
To go for it.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Yeah, I do have a VPN myself.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, I think there's a lot of people that have
VPNs these days.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
So I was looking up some free ones apparently, like
Proton's a good free one.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
So yeah, do what you want, do what you want
with that information.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
So Summer Slam, all right, the Beggar List the yea, Yes,
it was the beastliest. We're getting to that actually quick.
Before we get to that. Before we get to that,
I'm gonna give them up there, punkies. Yeah, I'm will
give two quick updates before we dive into Summer Slam,
and then after that, lesnar Real.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Quick an update on the g one climax.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
As far as a block goes, we've already got some
eliminations because some people are mathema mathematically eliminated. Evil has
ten points. You You're Mora ten points, Yotasuji with eight points,
bolton O leg with eight points, ryoheh, I am butchering
all these names, I know eight points, Callum Newman with
(10:11):
eight points, Hiroshi Tanahashi with eight points, David Finley with
eight tai Chi and Sonata both have been eliminated, and
then over on the B block side, Zach Saber Junior
has twelve points, Knoski Takashta with ten points, Red Narito
with ten points, Showa Umino with ten points, Yoshi Hashi
eight points, the Yoshi Drilla Maloney with eight points, Great
(10:34):
o'conn with eight points, and then El Fantasmo, Shingo Takagi
and El Fantasma Fantasmo are all eliminated mathematically.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
You know, every time I hear Yoshi, I don't think Mario.
I think of Dragon Wolzia bridged.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah, dragon ball Zia bridges. Great? Are you a Yoshi
pocket bacon?
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Also real quick as going shifting over to AW. This
past week on Dynamite, bro Dido, Brody King and Bandido
defeated some team on their Yeah, I can't remember their name.
I think they were they looked like they looked like
completely max. I think they looked like complete and utter jobbers. Yeah, yeah,
(11:18):
I was not impressed with their work.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
I hope I hope AW doesn't bring them back. Yeah,
I hope they don't.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Brodido advances to the finals and we'll face FTR. That
match has not been announced yet at the time.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Of this recording. It maybe this week. I know that
Forbidden Door. Yeah, Forbidden Door.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Well, I think the I don't know if the finals
are at Forbidden Door or the championship match for Door.
So because I looked up online, it didn't say nothing
about the finals being at Forbidden Door. So it's it's
either gonna be on Dynamite or Collision.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah. So yeah, we'll get to that. Shifting gears what
we were going to do Summer Slam.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Dave Meltzer gave the Night Too main event, the street
Fight between John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed
WWE Championship, a five star ratings.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
WWE's fourth five star this year.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
That's if you know how Dave Meltzer is and how
like apprehensive he is to give WWE a five star match.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
You know it was good.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
It was a good match.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I have not heard the match itself. Yeah, I have
not heard a bad thing about.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
It was John Cena's best match since twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Are you talking about the one he had with the
AJ Styles?
Speaker 3 (12:34):
I think that was AJ Styles probably that one, yeah, and.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Then probably before that was what maybe punk at Money
in the Bank twenty eleven.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
That was a five star.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah, that one was a legitimate five star. But like
we're sometimes.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
We agree with Meltzer on his five star ratings. Sometimes
we don't agree with him. Sometimes we like to give
certain matches our own five star rating.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
That's right. I would have gave this one if I mean,
not this next one? The other one? What?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
What other one? Uh?
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Punk?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Oh? Okay.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
His second highest rating was a four oh okay was
a four point seventy five star for the Tag Team
TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championship in which
the Wyatt Six retained, which was also one Night to
while the Night one main event between Dounter and c
HM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship received four point
five stars.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
Brian Alvarez, you know Meltzer's tag team partner, if you will,
he said it was atrocious. What yeah, I thought the
match was great. What yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:32):
I didn't even watch it, and I'm you know, I'm
gonna trust like your your judgment on this and other
people's judgment on this, because it seemed like to me.
Full disclosure, I didn't get a chance to watch SummerSlam.
I had a lot of stuff going on last week.
I was getting updates on it. Josh typically will let
Jason and I know what's going on. I had some
other prior arrangements that I had to deal with, not
(13:54):
to deal with, but I had to go visit some
people and you know, go do other things.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
I would say, I would say at least this one
and the Cody John match, they're both around thirty minutes too.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Okay, Well that makes sense. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Interesting fact about Cmpunk's title win, he is now the
only wrestler to hold wwwe's Old and New World Heavyweight Championships.
So the Ruthless Ruthless Aggression Era one that existed from
twenty two to twenty thirteen and was represented by the
Classic Big Gold Belt and the current that was introduced
in twenty twenty three. Despite having the exact same name
(14:29):
and similar appearance, they are in fact two different titles.
They also make Punk. This also makes Punk the only
wrestler to have held the Ring of Honor World Championship,
the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, albeit under.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
WWE, the AE excuse me, the AEW.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE Championship, and both of ww's previous, previous.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
And current World Heavyweight Championships.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Yeah, in case you don't know, CM, Punk is not
the World Heavyweight Champion now.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
Seth Rowlins came out and he catched on them.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
I predicted this, Yeah, and how he did it was
pretty great too. He came You didn't see it, did
I did?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
I did see that.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
I saw that where he walked out and he was
kind of he was, you know, I'm gonna get you
and everything that turned around and then just dropped the crutches.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
I mean, it's pretty brilliant.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
The rules of the century.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
I mean, we were kind of when when he did
get injured, we were kind of speculating.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
A little bit this work. Maybe this is the work. Yeah,
it could have very well could have been. But yeah no,
as by all accounts SummerSlam itself, the show was fantastic,
great show, great atmosphere, great matches. I mean I was.
(15:41):
I Like I said, I didn't get a chance to
watch it.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
But we were sitting at a restaurant that night before
we headed back to here in Charleston, West Virginia, and
I was following it on my phone.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
I didn't want to, we were in the restaurant.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
I didn't want to have the match pulled up and
playing out loud and and creating a distraction for every
But I'm following along, and like every every wrestling page
that I follow on Facebook, One Blue Sky, Instagram, whatever
social media platform I was on, all of them were
talking about how great the match was and how amazing
(16:15):
it was. So but with that, there was something that
happened right after the match.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
That happened what is it?
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Second Night?
Speaker 1 (16:25):
The second night, the main event, the second night after
Cuddy Roads and John Cena. Before I get to this note,
these are all allegations and everyone is innocent to proven
guilty in a court of law. But this next part
does involve the Janelle Grant sex trafficking lawsuit and the
return of Lesnar. At the end of SummerSlam, after Cody
(16:46):
Roads and John Cena's main event match, Rock Lesner made
his return to WWE. This was a shock too many
people due to the fact that on January thirty first
of this year, Janelle Grant and her team filed an
amendment to band on their criminal complaint.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
With Vince McMahon and WWE.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
This amendment de anonymized names from the original criminal complaint
before people's names were left anonymous in the lawsuit. This
is where brock Lesner's name is shown, along with others
such as Nick Con, Stephanie McMahon, Brad Blum, Brian Nurse,
Michael Hayes, among others. This does not implicate them for
(17:27):
any criminal activity though, again, Vince McMahon and WWE are
the defendants in this case, not Nick Con, Brocklsner, or
anyone else. Brock was named in this lawsuit because Janelle
Grant was allegedly used as a bargaining chip between himself
and WWE during his contract negotiations.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Again allegedly.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
Just to bring you up to date, the Grant lawsuit
filed against w W Vince, Vince McMahon, and John Warneitis
alleged's sexual assault, trafficking, and physical abuse by McMahon towards
Grant during her employment with WWE. The lawsuit also seeks
to void non disclosure agreements related to the alleged conduct.
(18:14):
The initial lawsuit was filed on January twenty fifth, twenty
twenty four, in the United States District Court for the
District of Connecticut. The last big update from this case
came in May of this year, where John Laurnaiis and
Janelle Grant settled and he agreed to cooperate with the prosecution.
Laurnaiis is no longer a defendant in this case. It
(18:35):
is now only Vincementman and WWE. Note Lesner is not
a defendant in this case. He is just named in
the suit itself. With that being said, Dave Meltzer of
the Wrestling Observer newsleater letter said that ww's legal team
cleared Lesner.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
To come back.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
He also stated that the reason WWE did not hold
a press conference like previous shows was due to Lessner's return.
On the post show panel, Triple H stated that in
a way, this was John Cenna's decision, where they were
setting up everything for his last run in WWE. But
on this past week of Monday Night Rawl, Michael Coles
(19:16):
stated that he spoke with Triple H and Nick Con
about Lesner's return. Quote Earlier today, I had the opportunity
to sit down with WWEWWE president Nick Con and WWE's
chief content officer, Paul Triple H Levec, and I asked
them a simple question, when was it determined that brock
Lesner would return to WWE.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
And they told me.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
They told me they reached out to Brock a number
of weeks ago and said, we believe it's time for
you to come home. Brock Lesner said, let's do it,
and here we are. End quote. Janelle Grant's lawyers did
release a statement about all of this quote. For far
too long, abuse was allowed to thrive under WWE's leadership.
Instead of writing this wrong, WWE has done nothing to
(20:03):
ensure those responsible are held accountable. This attempt to sweep
misconduct under the rug will backfire. We look forward to
the full set of facts, including those about mister Lesner,
coming out in a court of law where they belong.
But in the meantime, we refer you back to Janel
Grant's updated complaint, which outlines in detail the abuse she
(20:26):
endured by McMahon and others while employed at WWE end quote.
I would like to reiterate everyone is innocent until proven
guilty in a court of law. These are allegations at
the time of this recording. You can go back and
read everything that has been filed to see for yourself.
The Janail Grant lawsuit is still ongoing. Now let's go
(20:48):
over to one this day in wrestling history. August tenth,
nineteen ninety two, Big Van Vader defeated Ricky Choshu at
an NJPW event in Tokyo, Japan to win the IWGP
(21:11):
Heavyweight Championship. He would go on to hold the belt
for three hundred and seventy four days. August tenth, nineteen
ninety six, the recently formed New World for Life made
their presence felt at WCW Hogwilde, where Hollywood HAULK Cogan
no relation defeated The Giant for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
(21:36):
The outsider Scott Hall and Kevin ash Faced Sting and
Lex Luger Harlem Heat squared off against the Steiner brothers
for the WCW tag team titles, and Rick Flair defended
the US title against Eddie Guerrero. Yes August tenth, two
thousand and eight, Samoa Joe defeated Booker T in a
(21:56):
steelcage weapons match to retain the TEA World Heavyweight Championship
at Hard Justice in Trenton, New Jersey. The event also
marked the beginning of a return angle for Jeff Jarrett
j WFJA R E DOUBLET, who had not been active
in the company for fifteen months.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Now, let's go.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
Ahead and take a quick break, and when we come back,
we got our top five current wrestlers in the main event.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Stay time.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
It's don for more of the grill Out here Hollywood,
Jeff Betty, Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen to the Grill Out.
I'm your host, Hollywood, Jeff Betty.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
All allegedly, and I'm joined by our reigning and defending
Grill Out Predictions Champion.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Not alleged. That's a fact.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
That is a fact. Yeah, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
I actually gave him the belt before he walked in
the building. I said here, this was sitting in my
car because I don't want it to be like the
last time you.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
Won the belt. And just set my car for weeks.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
You know what. Also the fact Jason is gonna give
us that list next week.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
Yeah, yeah, at least that's what he's telling us.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
He was texting us earlier to and I even asked us, hey,
make sure you remind me to release the list, so
you know, as far as Jason goes, y'all probably should
get on the Facebook page and let Jason know that
he needs to.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Release the list.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
Speaking of list, yes, speaking of a list, We're gonna
go ahead and give you our top five current wrestlers.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Now, there isn't too much criteria with this.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
As long as they're active or somewhat active these days,
I'm okay with that, as long as they are not
pretty much retired or like they I guess in a way,
like they can't wrestle anymore. So like if there's if
there's a deal like that, so like somebody that is
tech like signed to an extent, like.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
If it's an indie wrestler, you know, a certain indie
wrestler that you're like, I'm okay with that. But somebody
that is signed, that is currently wrestling, that is, you know,
doing their thing right now. So we're gonna give our
top five.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Jason did send us a list, a list of his
top five, so we'll just give his Yeah, it's not
the list, but it's a list, not a listers. But
maybe I mean that technically it's the top five, which
I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
I was a little shocked. I'm full disclosure. There's no
rear ripley on here.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Yeah, I was a little shocked by that.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
He's gonna go go back and listen to this and
he's just gonna like like slap his knee or something
like that. Nabbit, I should have put Yeah, anyway, I
go ahead and give you one. I'll go ahead and
give you Jason and I's first because it's the same,
and then I'll throw it to you, Josh, both Jason
and I.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Our top one is Tony. Now.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
The reason why I'm going Tony storm is because she
and A Way has carried the women's division over in
her character work has been fantastic. I cannot tell you.
I I don't know of a like. She's had some
programs that have.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Fizzled out a little bit or kind of lost some
of its steam, but I don't know of a bad.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Program she's had in a while. Yeah, like she's I
don't know, she's just her character work and everything her
She was already a great in ring worker, in n
ring competitor, she was already great with that.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
But then you add all of this other stuff.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
The timeless Tony Storm, like that, that's gonna be a
gimmick that people are gonna be talking about four years. Yeah,
after she retires, she's always gonna be timeless Tony Storm. So, Tony,
if you're listening to this, number one, we would like
an interview. Yes, okay, number two, just be prepared for
the rest of your days to always be in black
and white and all the pictures.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
I think she's okay with that.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Yeah, I do find it kind of interesting like that.
It doesn't matter the picture she's in, if she's in it,
she's black and white.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
You know, semi related to Tony Storm because she's dating him.
Juice Robinson without a beard is weird, very weird.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
Very well, it it is because it's been so long
since I have seen him without one. Yeah, because the
first time I saw Juice Robinson was in New Japan
and he didn't have a beard.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
But he had like a go tee type that deal
going on. But he had dreads then too, so like
that was a whole thing. But yeah, it is. It
is kind of weird anyway, who's your who's your number one?
Speaker 3 (26:18):
I'm gonna have to agree with Tony Storm. I mean,
she's like arguably the best thing going on in women's
wrestling in the world.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Oh yeah, yeah, I can't really type it.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Well, it was timeless Tony Storm. She's very timeless.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
So all three of us have said go with Tony Storm.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
It was Oranges.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
I'm not asking questions. I am not asking questions whatsoever.
So all three of us are in agreement that Tony
Storm is the number one right now?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Yeah, okay, well not necessarily the number one. Well, actually
that is Jason's number one.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
You're you're gonna go with Tony Storm?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Okay, all right, we'll go.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Now we're gonna go to number two, number two. Now,
this is where it differs. It's different.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
Jason.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Jason is CM punk. He went to see him punk
for this. Don't know the reason behind it. This is
just the list that he sent us earlier today.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
In fact, just a.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Little bit behind the scenes for all of y'all our
own the grill out unreal. I literally text Jason earlier today.
I Mike Jason released the list and he's like.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
What are you talking about.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
You're supposed say that on the podcast.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
And he's like, no, I need your top five current wrestlers.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah, so he yes,
he went with see.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Him Punk, Charles Montgomery, Punk, Yes, Chick Magnet, Punk, Cookie Months,
pep c Phil.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Pepsi, Phil, Yes, Phil Brooks. Listen, there is like that
is one thing mister Punk and I can't agree on.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
I do like Pepsi.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
My WWE name is John Cena, My actor name is
John Cena. My government name is John Cena.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Solid Oh gosh.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Anyway, My number two is somebody that I have said
numerous times on this podcast is a.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Top ten talent in the world.
Speaker 1 (28:04):
He's top ten, but I have him number two here.
I mean still in the top ten, still in the
top ten. He's top five, but he's in the top ten.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Swear Strickland, Yeah yeah, I can't. Actually, before you this
is a little embarrassing. Before you got here, Josh, I
was listening to swear Strickland's a theme song in here.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Were you swerving?
Speaker 1 (28:25):
I was, I was, I was swerving, just not while driving, right,
not not while driving, but while in this computer chair.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
Yeah. Anyway, who's your number two?
Speaker 3 (28:34):
So I'm going to say he fits the criteria because
I don't I don't think he's retired. I think he's
just taking a full time off. Brian Danison, Okay, I mean,
arguably one of the best in the world, even all
the time for some people, absolutely amazing in the ring,
pretty much can't really have a bad match, probably wrestle
(28:55):
a broom and make it a five star. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
He is really one of those talents that can really, yeah,
can seriously get like a five star match out of
a broomstick.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Like and and then we were talking off the air
about this a little bit. I'm not saying this is
pure speculation, pure speculation at this point.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
I think Brian Danielsons eventually going to get the itch
to go back in.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Yeah, I think that he is kind of he's a
little he's kind of.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Came back as Snidge and he popped up in rh
or whatever it was.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Oh yeah, yeah, so yeah, I just I don't know,
I just I have an inkling. Yeah that he's going
to eventually get the itch to want to come back. Yeah,
so that's that's me anyway, on too, number three, I'm
going to give you Jason's real quick, he says, Will Osprey.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
I can't really argue too much with that. Osprey.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Yeah, Osprey is another one of those guys. I don't
he's not in my top five. I'll say that, but yeah,
but I don't. There's Josh over there with the controversial.
We're gonna get some We're gonna get some comments on
that one.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yeah, he's not my top twenty.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
No, okay, maybe maybe not.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Geez, that's not big on him. Like, yeah, he's good
in the ring, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
Yeah, I mean what I was gonna say Aspray is
the over no selling. Yeah, Like Osprey is.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Another one of those guys though that I can't think of,
Like I can think of like some some.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Man programs he's had.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
I can't think of a bad match that he's had. Now,
I get I understand like the no selling and everything
and the flippy stuff is like that's not for everyone,
but that's also the beauty of professional wrestling. Everybody kind
of has their own thing, you know, we've you know,
and we've all said on the on the show, like
what kin we like, what what what style we prefer
and what style we don't. It kind of shows up
(30:53):
a little bit in our top five.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Yeah, he's not. He may be in my top ten,
but he's not in my top five. Yeah. Number three
for me.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Is somebody that we talk about quite often and somebody
that also Jason I agree on, but it's not his.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Number three is Gunter Man. You okay, I know exactly
what you're doing. Success. No, I I'm going number three
with Gunther good dirt man. That's a bad man, bad
bad man. Also, did you hear what what he said
on Undertaker's podcast about somebody that drove nine hours to see.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Yeah, I mean yeah, that's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Yeah, I guess he was at a meet.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
It was it wasn't even like a show of a
meet and greet, right, yeah, yeah, So like he was
at a meet and greet and this guy drove nine hours. Yeah, okay,
Well if somebody drove nine hours.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
To see him and he was like, he said something
along the lines of you needed you need to do
manage your time better, like do something better with your time.
He said, he felt like that was the most responsible
thing he could have said too. So yeah, I've got
to go Gunter.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
I'll tell you who's not a fan of Gunther, Brett Hart.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
He is not Brett I Brett Hart said here recently
he is not a fan of Gunther because he does
not like professional wrestling where it gets where you quote
unquote hit your hits each other for real, Like he
does not like the chops. He does not like you know,
the like the strong.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Style type stuff that Gunter typically does. And like I
understand where Brett's coming from with that.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Screw Screw Brett, Brett, Screw Brett Glsey. He wins the
title and immediately it goes to his head.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
No, Like I get what he's saying, but it's like,
not every match has to If every single match, excuse me,
if every single match on a card was chain wrestling,
I'm going to get bored of chain Wrestling's right will Yeah, yes,
going after will osbreak He's a mad Josh's a mad
(33:08):
man right now?
Speaker 3 (33:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (33:11):
But yeah, no, I yeah. Anyway, Well, Brett.
Speaker 3 (33:16):
I'm going to disagree with you because going there is
number three. Okay, so we agree on that, Okay, he
was going to be on my list somewhere. I just
put him here, Okay, pretty much the same reason. I mean,
I cannot have a bad match you can rely on
going through to basically carry anyone.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
I mean, look at that, look at the look at
the match he had with Jay Huso. Yeah, and look
at the match you just had with Goldberg. Yeah yeah,
actually yeah, like it's he had I mean, well I
think it was like a fifteen minute match with Goldberg. Yeah,
he got a fifteen minute match out of Colburg.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Yeah, and Goldberg didn't really look bad.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
No, Like that shows like and that's and that's another
thing with like Brett Hart's comments about him. It's like, again,
I understand you're not a fan of the style, but
we have somebody here Bratt can get in the ring
and make anybody look good.
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Yeah. So yeah, he just feels like one of those
classic wrestlers in a way.
Speaker 2 (34:09):
He does.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Like I remember I semi followed him on the British
Indies when he he wasn't going by Gunther then he
was going by Walter.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Yeah, and you know that was it was.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
It's pretty much the same thing, just different name. Gunter
is his pretty much his WWE.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Name, although he started as Walter and WB technically yes
he did it, and in X t U K Yeah, yeah,
he did start as as Walter, but once he got
up on the main roster and.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
Everything, he was Gunter. Anyway, you want to write that
on there? Oh yeah, yeah, I can't if I write
him on there right now, we're going to lose the recording.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Well, I was gonna say something about the Gunter the
Summer Slam match. I see him Punk, see him. Punk's
not like a small, small guy, but he's kind of small.
It was almost like a David Goliath match in a way.
Doing is not a huge guy, but he felt very
you know, power over empowering him to Punk in that way.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Yeah, I mean Gunter is not Yeah, he's definitely not
the biggest guy in there.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
He's not Walter.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
He's not well, he's not well, not that version of Walter.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
When he was Walter, he had some weight on him,
and then he cut weight and you know, pretty much
became Gunter.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
Yeah. So yeah, like.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
It's he's yeah, he's he doesn't he does not come
off like he can. He does come off like he
can overpower you, but he does not give that look
like he does not when you look at me, you
don't think that.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
One of those chops actually cut the Punk open a
little bit?
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Did it really shoulder area?
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Oh Jesus, yeah, I mean, okay, I got a quick question.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
All right, it's real. It is real to some people.
It really is real. Quick Okay, like that guy who
was losing his mind. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
There there was a video over the weekend of a
seeing Punk fan leaving the even the stadium, obviously upset
because Punk lost the title to Seth Rowlins who cashed in,
and other fans are trolling him because do you, like,
are you happy with yourself? You're like West Virginia famous now,
(36:16):
Like other wrestling fans are trolling him by singing Seth
Rowlins theme song, and he at one point goes silence, like, buddy,
I'm a lifelong wrestling fan.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Like there's literally pictures of me with a stone cold
Steve Austin shirt when I'm like three years old and
my mom in like nineteen ninety eight had just brought
my brother my twin brothers back from the hospital because
you just had him. And there's literally a picture of
me sitting right beside their their baby seats, car seats
with a stone cold Steve Austin. Sure, I've been in
this game for a long time. I can tell you
(36:53):
it's not that deep. I've never gotten so mad at
something like that to where I'm like telling other people.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
I'm not doing that.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Yea.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Anyway, you had a question, Oh yeah, yeah, I have
a question. I went on the tangent. Yeah, all right,
before we get to the last two, you gotta pick
one or the other. I'm gonna get like you.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
There's no one or two, one or two. Would you
rather take a chop from Gunther or.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
A spear from bron Breaker? Put him on the spot
right now, I'm.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
Gonna put ap from You're gonna go with.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
The chop from Good?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Yeah, I feel like a spear from Breaker's gonna just
gonna break my back. It's gone, it's gonna knock the windown.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Yeah, you know, I kind of I think I have
to agree with that. At least the Gunther chop I
can walk away. Yeah, I feel like I feel like
bron Breaker spears me with as much speed as that
man picks up off the ropes.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
I'm done, Yeah, like I'm I got.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
I immediately got Jim Ross in my head, going he's broking,
he's been broken in half because I have he's got a.
Speaker 2 (38:02):
Family, all right, Number four for the three of us,
know it, Lighty, do it, lady, do it? Going through?
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Because going through is number four for Jason probably the
same reasons that we we've picked going through. Yeah, I mean,
except his is at number four, So it's a man's
Jason's top five.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
My number four is it's I don't want to say controversial.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Yeah, it's I guess semi. For certain people, it's Hangman
Adam Page. I think that the like Tony Storm, the
character arc that Hangman has been one to where he
has sort of turned into like this, I guess you
could say anti hero in a way. I think it
suits better than the white meat babyface we saw Adam
(38:56):
Page at the beginning of a W I think it's
it's leaps and bounds better than what he was what
he was doing, because like the thing is at least
in my brain, and the audience can disagree with me
and you can disagree with me. Only certain people can
pull off a white meat babyface. Very few can, but
(39:17):
only only certain ones can, and very few people can.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Even John Cena, who.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Was a white meat babyface for a long time. I
could say I would say that he pulled it off,
but the crowd.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
Rejected it very harshly. They got it back. He did,
he didn't. He got it back to this past Friday
on Smackdowns.
Speaker 3 (39:35):
I'm glad they kind of kept the the heel part
of his entrance. Then he goes there because I like
the whole blackout thing. It was so cool.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Yeah, I liked I like those little details, Yeah, little
details out there. But Adam Page, hangman, Adam Page. I
think that I think that now the quote unquote main.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Character of AW has finally arrived. I think that. I
think AW in general has improved as a company within
the past year, and all in Texas showed that showed
what they've really been building up.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
Towards his match with John Moxley, I thought, you know,
I'm not I'll say this, I'm not a fan of
death matches. I've said it on the show before. I'm
not that big of a fan of the hardcore matches.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
I like him, but I can give or take with them.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
I did like that one. I was okay with that one.
So if they they and it could be it's both
of them. I'm not I'm not dissing John Moxley and
all of this, but I have to give it the
Hangman out of page. The main character of AW has arrived. Yeah, yeah,
success the former main character of a W.
Speaker 3 (40:41):
I'm at the groove Jason on something. But so I
disagree with bretton my last pick. But I'm a grief
with Breton's next pick. See him punk.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
You can go with SEM punk CM punk Cookie Monster.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
Yeah. Now is he as good in the ring as
he used to be? Not quite, but it's what he
can do in the ring. In the story, he tells
why I think he's one of the greats today.
Speaker 2 (41:01):
Fair enough? Fair enough? You might have to write that
on there.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Yeah, Carls Montgomery or Montgomery did you the Xavier?
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Yeah, just throwing stuff in there, you know, x C
x M punk. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
I came up with the ex effort flipping around its
MX Most Extreme Elimination Challenge.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
I remember watching that so much on Spike TV after
Monday Night roll went up there.
Speaker 2 (41:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
Oh, if you've ever watched Most Extreme Elimination Challenge also
known as MX, go ahead right into the grail out
to grill Out ninety five at gmail dot com when
you can message us on Facebook at facebook dot com.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Forward slash the grill out.
Speaker 3 (41:40):
I will say, there's also where Punk has come back
to WWE. There's this he has this almost this thing
that brock Lesner has where it's there's this sense of realism,
realism to it. It's like it feels like he could
snap in a way, and it really plays into his
character more. Yea, and in some ways almost would put
lives in the top five if he had a match
(42:01):
like he has with like say, Brian Danielson every time.
But he didn't have a match like that every time.
He was picky and choosy.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
So yeah, he does pick.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
And choose when he's good.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
He's good. Yeah anyway, Yeah, so see him Punk. Uh.
Now we're on to number five, our final spot for
our top five.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
Jason says Becky Lynch. Why Becky is awesome?
Speaker 2 (42:28):
Yeah, I know. I can't speak for Jason. I don't
know why he picked Becky Lynch, but Becky's awesome.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
I think great. She's I mean, yeah, she's she's phenomenal
with Mike.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
She tore Hi Nikki Pillis last time.
Speaker 1 (42:40):
Yeah, she really didn't mester her up with that you
can't see you, oh boy. But also like I feel
like like here recently with her holding the intracontinental title,
I think she's put a lot of legitimacy to that,
that title itself. So you know, I have to I can't.
I can't really argue with Jason on plus a tittilism
(43:01):
and do what you want.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
Yeah, my speculating on his thoughts.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
Yes, Now, this next one's going to make see him
punk fans lose their minds. Yeah, he's a guy.
Speaker 1 (43:10):
Always been in my top five. We're current wrestlers, not
all five all time top five, he's kind of in
my top twenty, top fifteen all time seth rawlins. Yeah,
like he just worked everybody with the knee, okay, Like
and I didn't you you don't ask me, like, did
I see the part where he you know, through the
(43:31):
I didn't see that.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Originally.
Speaker 1 (43:33):
I saw people parroting that on TikTok, and when I
saw that, went oh okay, So then I started digging around.
Speaker 3 (43:39):
Like, oh yeah, so that's what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (43:42):
Yeah, so like people were already parroting that. It was great.
Oh I could have oh yeah, I could imagine.
Speaker 1 (43:49):
Yeah, Seth seth Rawlins, I think is definitely a go
to guy if you need a solid match. I don't
think Seth is I think Seth is.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Good on the mic.
Speaker 1 (44:01):
I don't think he's amazing or great on the mic,
but I definitely think he's he's he's good at it.
Speaker 2 (44:08):
I think he is.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
He is definitely one of those guys that does have
all have everything. He's the whole package.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
He's got the look, he's got the athleticism, he's got
the skill. I mean, he's got it all. And he
is a guy. He is a guy that you can
count on.
Speaker 1 (44:20):
There's a reason why they had they decided to throw
the World Heavyweight belt on him.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
Okay again, Yes, and.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Seth Rawlins is another one of those wrestlers can't really
think of a bad match that they've had.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
I mean, I'm sure if you dig around a little bit,
Josh has Alread giving me that look.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
Helen the sil twenty nineteen fiend bray.
Speaker 2 (44:41):
White, Well, you know what, I blame the Red Cage
for that.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
Yeah, it is just the booking of that match. Like
yeah yeah, Like also because like their their match at
Crown Jewel.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
Was much better.
Speaker 1 (44:54):
Yeah, and I and and also like I think around
that time with d WWE, especially when it came to
the Fiend, they had no idea what they had.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
Yeah, they didn't know what they had in front of them.
So all right, I'm gonna give it to you for
you last one.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
There are a bunch of different people go on this
list that Jason is not released yet. That's not this
list though, that's not this list. It's my list. My
list has been read twice checked three times. Seth Rowlins,
you're gonna go Seth I'm gonna go Seth Rollins.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
You could tell, like, go ahead and write it on there.
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:33):
Like the funny thing is like you can look at
all like look at the three of us, look at
our list.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
There's some differences, but there's definitely.
Speaker 1 (45:41):
Some similarities with yeah, Like right now, okay, just to
give a quick recap before we get to the main event,
all three of us have to Tony Storm.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
At number one. Yeah, all three of us.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
All three of us have goother somewhere on our list.
Jason has him at number four, We both have him.
Speaker 2 (45:58):
At number three. Uh uh, let's see. You and I
both have Seth Rawlins and let's see You and Jason
both have see Him Punk.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
Now, of course there's some differences. You have Brian Danielson
on yours, Jason has will Ospray and Becky Lynch on his.
I have Swerve Strickland and Adam Page on mine.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
But yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (46:23):
I mean, there are other people who deserved that could
be in the top five list. I mean, Cody Rhodes
could be there. Roman Rings character, Yes, ring work, it's
it's in there. No, No, it's yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
And and I think I think if if you would
have asked us a year ago, I think Cody would
have been in top five. But where he's he just
had the belt taken off of him. Of course he
just won the belt back. But where he's had the
belt off of him, he's kind of cool down a
little bit.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
You know. I would I probably would take him out
of my top five at the moment. But if you
would have asked me a year.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Ago, I probably would have said, Cuddy Roads in there somewhere.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Some people might put John Box on there.
Speaker 2 (46:57):
Yeah, I mean I think he's great in the ring.
Speaker 3 (46:59):
I feel like he wants too much blood two minute, Yeah,
too much blood.
Speaker 1 (47:05):
Yeah, Like it's it's it's kind of like the like
I said about the match, it's like the death match stuff,
Like I don't need every match to be a death match.
I don't need every match to be a technical clinic.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Brett.
Speaker 1 (47:14):
Yeah, anyway, I mean Ripley, Yeah, real, Ripley could easily.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
I think she's in Archar scene.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Yo Sky was another one. I thought about putting her
up there, but anyway, yes, so real quick.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
Just to recap, Josh has.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
Any man with two hands has a fighting chance. Yeah,
so real quick. Our top five Josh number one, Tony Storm,
number two, Brian Danielson, number three, Gunter number two see
him punk and Oh number four see him punk and number.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Five seth rawlins.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
You want one two three?
Speaker 1 (47:51):
I went I lost my mind a little bit about
halfway through that. Jason number one, Tony Storm number two,
see him Punk, number three, will Osprey, number four, Gunter,
number five, Becky Lynch, and then for me number one,
Tony Storm, number two, Swerve strictly number three, Gunter, number four, Hangman,
Adam Page and number five seth rawlins.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
What's kind of interesting is these are all WWE and
ae W nothing outside of it.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Yeah, I thought I was really trying to think like
outside of those two bubbles, but I couldn't really think
of anybody now.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
Granted, the AEW folks get to do some Japan and
whatever stuff, but they're mainly aw.
Speaker 2 (48:26):
Yeah, exactly exactly.

Across professional wrestling.
Speaker 1 (52:25):
Outside of w W SummerSlam last weekend, there were only
a couple of title changes this past week, which were
in lesser known promotions. On August third, at an event
for the Japanese promotion Bizarro Bizarro, m J two, Kingo
Mushamo and au Me Honda defeated I Tried, Haika, show,
(52:47):
ike Fumi and Ruchi Sekein to win the Iron Fist
tag Team Championship at an event on August fourth. In
the Women's Japanese Promotion Ice Ribbon, Nanami Haitano defeated at
Cairo Yoni Yama and Matsuya Matsuyawa.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
Son Kamiya Yama Matuzawa, son oh.
Speaker 1 (53:11):
Okay see Josh's you Know What You just hosted the
ship in a three way match to win the vacant
Triangle Ribbon Championship. This title has a unique rule in
that championship matches are only contested as three ways with
a fifteen minute time limit, and the title is vacated
in the event of a time limit drawl. And then
at SummerSlam this past weekend, there were three title changes
(53:33):
in total. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defeated the Judgment
Day were Cail Rodriguez and Roxane Perez to win the
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, and as mentioned earlier, in
the main event of Night one, seem Punk defeated Gunter
to win the World Heavyweight Championship, only to have it
spoiled by seth Rawlins cashing in his money in the
main contract to win the title in what is.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
Being called the Rules of the Century.
Speaker 3 (53:57):
Yeah and also as hed lady, he did. He did
it and his crunch numbers.
Speaker 1 (54:04):
He not only crunched numbers, he won the title, held
it up, looked at and went success.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
As also as mentioned earlier, in the main event of
nine two, Cody Roads defeated Johnson in a street fight
to win his second undisputed WWE Championship.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
We almost had it all. We almost had Undisputed removed
the website actually removed it for like four hours, and
then they put it back.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
Somebody, somebody at WWHQ messed up.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
They were trying to edit it and I accidentally put
undisputed and then they start getting all the phone.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
Call like are you changing the name? You changed the name,
and they're like, Jim, get in there and fixed that.
Speaker 3 (54:45):
Yeah. I don't know why they're still calling it undisputed.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
It's not undisputed anymore. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (54:50):
He got another world title over the other show.
Speaker 2 (54:52):
Yeah, and they've even discontinued the Universal title.
Speaker 3 (54:55):
Yeah, it's gone. It's done.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
Oh, I don't know. I don't know anyway.
